“Hello Apricus! Augustine Cornelius Eckerman here! We’re live in Solis Heights for the beginning of the Apricus Grand Prix! Our drivers have all taken their places and we’re about ready to kick this thing off!”

“For those who aren’t familiar with the route, I’ll take a quick second to explain. We begin in Solis Heights and travel through the winding roads of Apricus. From Solis Heights, through Diamond District, along the outskirts of Smokey Gardens, traveling through Evergreen Basin, around Capitol Square, through Delta Town, heading between Cherry Hills and Apricus University, and finally ending where it began back in Solis Heights.”

“Now, if you’d all joining me in welcoming Lye Marigold who will be starting the race for us. Once Lye waves her flag the drivers will speed off on their way!”

Lye heads up to the podium while the drivers get ready. The flag is waved and they are off!

The drivers speed off down the specially designed course, winding around the roads of Solis Heights as spectators cheer on from the sidelines.

As the racers exit Solis Heights and head into Diamond District, number 76 pulls away with numbers 31 and 55 right behind. The other racers aren’t far off as the pack is fairly close together. It’s literally going to be anyone’s race. 

Diamond District proves slightly easier to navigate with more straightaways and less turns. Number 41 pulls up, passing by the others and gaining on 76. Number 4 begins to make a move trying to work around the tight grouping.

Things take a bit of a turn as the pack exits Diamond District, we narrowly avoid a collision between 76, 88, and 55 but everyone pulls out of it. 41 takes the lead for a short bit heading into the easier section of Smokey Gardens outskirts.

The Smokey Gardens section is far more scenic with lots more room to accelerate and really show what you’ve got. Be careful though, the road gets a little narrow! Number 4 surprisingly has taken the lead now with 41 and 88 behind them but everyone is battling back and forth for position while narrowly avoiding disaster.

We finally round the corner through Evergreen Basin, back into more congested roads where you may want to keep your speed a bit lower. Number 76 grinds their wheel against a corner for a second but recovers and manages to pass by 4 to regain the lead. It doesn’t last long as 55 squeezes by and manages to pull away just a bit.

It’s almost a pileup as a few cars slightly lose control rounding the last corner of Evergreen Basin and head into Capitol Square but our drivers are skilled enough to slow it down and keep it together. A bit of a shift though as 31 takes the lead with 88 and 41 behind.

The people watching from Capitol Square’s spectator sections go wild as the racers speed by. It’s safe to say this event has been a success so far!

We’re out of Capitol Square and it’s another series of straight shots through Delta Town! Everyone is opening it up! 76 takes the lead, 4 takes it back, 41 pulls up, 88 is back in the lead, 4 out of nowhere, 55 is creeping up right behind! 31 though takes the lead back right as they exit Delta Town! 

It’s a perilous section between Cherry Hills and Apricus University as the roads get a bit bumpy and have a good series of tight turns to work around! It’s once again anyone’s race as it’s back and forth, a few sparks are flying as some of the cars barely bump into each other and struggle to maintain control on these narrow roads!

We’re in the home stretch now as they’ve re-entered Solis Heights and are racing towards the finish line! The crowd here is on their feet showing support for their favorites! It’s going to be tough to call and may be a photo finish as they say! Don’t worry, we’ve got state of the art cameras to handle it if it comes down to that! Here they come!

It looks to be number 4 just barely inching across the finish line first! 

We’re going to check the cameras but as of now Number 4 is our official winner, congratulations!

Hello friends, I’ve been thinkin...of giving Zeus a voice

Now I’ve practicing on voices for Zeus & some of them where prettyok with me but, I want your word on it. It’s pose to be Demonic but normal at the same time like he has two or three voices at the same time. It was really hard to do 😖

Pretty OK

So maybe I should try to rationalize that wild roller coaster ride of emotions I went through during my week long vacation.

For the longest time I was allowing my loneliness consume me and using my day to day life as distractions from the impending emotional collapse. Without going to work it finally happened and I spent a few days in bed just fuming. Blaming God, venting on here, trying to talk to friends.

But I got it out of my system. I found motivation. I started sleeping with my blinds open so the sun can wake me up. I bought a plant. I cleaned everything. I made small positive changes to my life that will eventually add up. I applied for readmission into my local university. I'm determined and I won't be alone in this as I have friends going back to school as well.

I think this is a big turning point in my life. I'm pretty happy now. Next semester I WILL take classes. My parents are kind enough to help pay for them as all. 

Maybe in my next blog post I'll give out details about myself. Until then, have a good night.

Updated Clockwork's cutiemark (also not fixed in the updated drawing, why must I procrastinate so?) This was also my first attempt at drawing something with the program SAI (despite still not having a tablet >.>) 

Does it look stupid? When you look at it, yes, yes it does. 

Am I proud of it? When I look at it, yes, yes I am. 

Am I going to make things this bad in the future? Most likely.

Will I do it on purpose? Not unless I have a deathwish for my eyes.
