i think he'd be pretty good at keeping things lowkey. he acts the same towards everyone with some exceptions to you, so i'd say 10/10.

definitely not touchy in public (nor in private to be honest), but he's definitely into the little moments.

little moments like making eye contact from across the room and sending you the slightest hints of a smile.

or even grazing your pinkies together when your walking side-by-side in thr middle of the campus hallways.

there are bits of physical affection here and there, but the main thing that gives this man away is the quality time and acts of services that he does towards you.

hatiham doesn't spend nearly as much time with others as he does with you. you're always with him whether it be in the library studying, in a coffee shop while he reads a book, or in museums looking around and scuptures and paintings.

it's especially in crowded places like museums and coffee shops where he does small actions of adoration and affection.

like when you guys go on study or book dates, you'll feel his eyes on you when you're trying to write something down or read something.

when you look at him to ask you what's wrong, he's simply staring at you with a soft expression that screams nothing but admiration and love. it's quite endearing really, to see his ears turn the lightest shade of pink afterwards.

"do you need something, haitham?" you ask, the smile he loves so much gracing your features. he gently shakes his head, reaching his hand out on the table to take yours, "no. nothing. i was just admiring you, is all."

there's a constant redness of his usually pale cheeks is a dead giveaway to your relationship, and he's pretty protective too so i'd say a 6/10.

whenever you catch xiao staring at you, his cheeks and the tips of his ears immediately burn red, and he whips his head around so fast.

people always notice and his friends always tease him for it, but he can't help such a reaction when what he thinks is the most stunning person is looking right at him.

or whenever he looks around the room to search for you only to find that you're already looking at him… his cheeks are literally on fire.

the adorable glow on his cheeks isn't the only sign he gives though. mind you, this man is very protective over you.

he wants to make sure that absolutely no harm comes in your way, and he'll do anything to make sure of that. he doesn't care if your relationship would be exposed that way, all he cares about is your overall safety and wellbeing.

he's the type of man who pulls you closer to him while you're crossing the street or walking by the road, having his hand on you in some way in case anything happens.

the type of guy who brings random stuff like bandaids, hair ties, and sweets for you just in case you need anything.

he's also constantly asking how you are through text, just in case you need him to do something or in case you need him by your side for whatever reason.

my favourite part about secret relationships with xiao is the kind of dates you'd have. he's definitely the type of man to do homey, indoor dates. he'd build lego bouquets for and with you, he's sit for hours bingeing movies or series you like, relax and read a book with you, or even just nap and cuddle. even though your dates are mostly at home to keep away from the prying eyes of others, he's sure to make it something you'll always love and never regret.

Been watching the 2003 tmnt show, and obviously I went in with some knowledge of who the turtles are and their roles and personalities, but it's been kind of fascinating to notice how Leonardo is actually pretty restrained in acting as a leader, at least in the more traditional sense (and from what i've seen so far in the first 2 seasons).

The moments where he actually directly takes charge of a situation and tells his brothers what to do, or puts his foot down on what he thinks is best, are actually few and far between. It usually only really crops up in life-or-death situations, or if his brothers are arguing over a course of action and he has to intervene.

To be honest, I think his more common leadership moments are understated to the point of barely being noticeable, and it's whenever they have a problem or situation to deal with and he turns to his brothers for suggestions on what to do. And the reason i consider this to be leadership moments are threefold:

First, by doing so, he's actually helping direct their focus on possible solutions or weak points, because his questions to them are never "what do we do" but more like "how can we distract the guards" or "is it possible to take down this machine", and like, listen. Listen. As someone who works with the general public and is one of the "leaders" of my department and has to guide my co-workers, the ability to assess a situation and even just know what kind of questions to ask to reach a solution is genuinely an underrated skill that far too many grown ass adults have not cultivated.

Second, he's actually keeping the line of communication open between him and his brothers. Sure, Don is usually the turtle who provides an answer, but Raph and Mikey are always welcome to speak up too and sometime they go with their ideas! I also think this makes them comfortable enough to speak up during more high pressure situations that aren't going great when they have a plan, bc they have full confidence that Leo and the others will back them up bc Leo really is always encouraging them to think and help him figure out what to do,

Which brings me to my third reason. By asking them for their thoughts and advice, it shows that Leonardo is willing to admit that he doesn't know something and he isn't afraid to look for them for help (at least in this regard lmao). And idk about yall but I'm much more willing to follow someone who won't pretend he has all the answers and is willing to seek advice, over someone whose ego is so big they can never admit to being wrong or humble themselves to ask for help.

And, like, I don't really know what came first, if, growing up, they were so close and good at working together that it never occurred to Leonardo to be more authoritative with his brothers now that they're a team, or if because Leonardo spent so much of their childhood more concerned with running after them and bailing them out of whatever scraps they get into and low-key knew telling them what to do wouldn't work that he just naturally fell into a more communicative and "we're all in this together, let's figure out what to do together" style.

But it does give off the impression of the brothers being a tight-knit team that pretty much work as one unit. Any friction between them is minimal at best (with most of it actually being between Mikey and Raph who take any opportunity to mess with the other). They don't really need to outline plans bc they're usually on the same page in the first place, and they have complete trust and faith in one another in getting the job done. No one is really in charge until it's necessary.

And, finally, all of the above combined is why I think his brothers usually listen and respect Leo on the rare occasions he does put his foot down on something. They know he wouldn't do it unless he was serious about what he's saying. Pretty much the only times they don't are when all 3 of them are united on wanting to do something and Leo was already kind of wavering on what to do, so they know they can rush ahead and big brother will rush after them to make sure they're okay. Or if they are also absolutely serious and fully believe in their own opinion on an issue (see the City at War arc where Leo and Raph are on complete opposite sides of the issue at hand).

but i still got 2 and half seasons to get through so maybe that changes!

Dominik was your best friend and the man you've been swooning over the past year. 

A year ago you couldn't stand the thought of him or the rest of The Judgement Day. You felt that their presence every Monday night was just… annoying to say the least. But, After many many many attempts at getting you to join, you finally gave in. Rhea was the one who convinced you. 

“C'mon y/n think about all the opportunities we could get you! You could be the next Women’s Champion. I've seen how hard you've been working for that opportunity. Let JD help you.” 

"Fine, but if you guys screw me over, it's not gonna be pretty"

"Now why would we do that y/n?" she says with her signature smirk

So here you are now, the women's Champion, with the four people you now consider family. Shortly after joining, you realized that they weren't that terrible after all. And that's also when you stopped seeing Dom as a nuisance and saw him as the sweet and caring person he truly is. Out of everyone, you and Dom were the closest. The two you just clicked, always together, whether it be ringside supporting each other or just chilling, y'all were inseparable. Your little crush on Dom didn't go unnoticed either. The group often teased you when Dom wasn't around.

After an eventful Raw, it was time for everyone to get back to the hotel. Everyone seemed to have left already except for you and Dom. It was weird, the five of you guys usually always left together. “You whipped some major ass out there!’ you complimented Dom as the two of yall packed up. “You think so? Felt like I didn't give my best tonight.” he shrugs. “Dom you always give a good show, dont doubt it.” He smiles at your comment. “Now cmon, I think the cab is here” You wrap an arm around his neck and head towards the exit. What you didn't know is that one, it was raining, and two, once you exit, you can't get back in. 

“Oh shit! I didn't know it was gonna be pouring out here,” you said running toward the door. You attempted to open the door. “What the…” you tried again. “Dom I think we're stuck out here…” You begin to anxiously laugh at the situation. “You know this is your fault right” You look at Dom like he has two heads. “My fault?! How was I supposed to know it was gonna be pouring out and-” “Relax y/n, I'm just fucking with you” he laughs at your mini outburst. 

“You're an asshole, you know that right?” the uncomfortable feeling of being wet starting to sink in.

“Yeah right, in your dreams” 

The two of you laugh and settle into a comfortable silence.

Dom notices you start to shiver. “Here take my jacket” He handed it to you and you put it on quickly. “Thanks” you smile to yourself. Little acts like this is what made you fall in love with him, if only you could tell him that. Minutes pass by still waiting for transportation, and the two of you switch between looking at your phones or watching the rain fall peacefully. Dom decides to break that comfortable silence. 

“Y/n can I tell you something?”

“Of course, what's up”

He turns to look down at you. “I don't know why I have this sudden urge to tell you this but fuck it,” you look at him confused. “Y/N I like you, a lot." Oh? Oh. "Even before you joined JD, when you hated my guts. You're- you're just so perfect, and funny, and beautiful and I can't explain what you do to me, but I love it. I didn't know people like you existed. You mean a lot to me and I don't even know if you feel the same b-” You cut him off, putting your hand on his wet cheek, and smile. “Dom, I've had the biggest crush on you for months now. I'm surprised you didn't notice! He stares at you baffled. "You're lying" "I swear!" Laughs come from both of you, he leans in, kissing you softly. He's the one to break the kiss. “I wasn't expecting you to change my life... but you did" You give him the biggest smile, and as you begin to respond to him, you are interrupted by the sound of a car horn. It's Rhea, Finn, and Damien all smiling at the two of you from the car.

“About damn time!” Damien says.

He doesn't dare to make you sad or frown at his teasings, it's just...Cruel since it was you. Instead, the guy would hug you, pulling your small form to his chest with that exhaled sigh of his. It’s just his way of showing you that he does care, just bad at showing you his love for you. ☆Moon: He shows his affection by making things for you or comforting you when you have bad days. He knows he can't help much but at least he was trying, he just doesn't like you being sad. He wanna sees that smile of yours, always so adorable and brightens his days. And he would do it until he sees it B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) ♡☆Sun & Moon: First off, they would be such a great friend. Though, being friend with them both already hard enough considering how they held some.. grudges toward adults. The friendship at first is so so so awkward as Sun always gives you the odd stare, unamused at your presence. And when Moon takes over, it becomes more awkward as the animatronic only ignores you. Never wave, never talk or whatever. •But with enough patience and kindness, they will welcome you with open arms. Tho, having them as friends means that Sun’s nagging will be lessened and Moon will keep his eyes on you in case you’re overworking. They now view you as one of their special friends! (The children do count) C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle? ♡Sun: Mocks you if you ask. “Cuddle? Well, aren't you clingy today??"

But still, he pulls you to his chest when you're about to walk away with a frowning face, saying how you’re so easily to be tricked by those words of his as he runs his hand through your hair, never wanting to let you go. And yet, he knew it was impossible knowing you have so many tasks and cannot stay here that long, the solar animatronic reluctantly lets you go with a strained smile on his face!

"Go do your job. I'll be waiting when you're done. Don't overwork, ok?"

☆Moon: You don’t dare to ask unless Moon wants to. He just wasn’t used to this kind of thing judging how some kids, the STAFF members always stay away from him because of how scary he is. But sometimes, you ask if he wants one whenever he feels sad. And the answer is always ‘yes’ with him pulling you to his chest with your neck on his shoulder. Deep down inside, the lunar animatronic wishes to be loved, he wants the attention that Sun had. He wants to know what it feels like to be surrounded with praises and hugs, not those glaring eyes and the pure darkness, how no one welcomes him and always calls him a monster:<. But well since you treated them both very nicely anddd equally, they won’t and always stick by your side till thick and thin. F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) ♡Sun: Doesn’t think about it since-! First of all, he was made to entertain children and can’t leave the Daycare so the thought of marrying you...well, never came to his mind. But it’s quite nice..He does dream of being domestic with you, able to take care of and love you, etc... Just some thoughts already made his day! ☆Moon: Doesn’t know what to say about it. Well ..He does like the thought of it but it’s just..he can’t leave and has to stay here like his counterpart, Sun. Yet there's a thought that lingers on his mind... Sun & Moon: Very gentle! They both were made to calm the children down if they're panicked, etc...So whenever you feel like you want some assurance words or anything, they're always there.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

♡Sun: Very much like it. But only do it when he has your consent! If you don't like physical touch, he has another way to show you his love, he would never and ever want to make you comfortable and that would be the last thing. I hc his hugs to be very comforting like you can't help but melt when this jester hugs you 😞. And gosh, you swear if he could smirk, he would definitely do it to show how proud he is for making you happy.

☆Moon: Rarely do it. As I've said before, he wasn't used to this kind of thing. But his hugs though, more comforting and warmer than Sun (cause he's a Naptime Attendant), it makes you wanna fall into a deep slumber while being cradled by Moon. Oh how he loves you so much that he wanna protect you from this cruel world.🥲 I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) ♡Sun: Doesn't say much. But occasionally, he randomly says it in a nonchalant tone. And he would get a bit flustered when you say it back. Sun hates the fact he's such a softie for you when you tease him, maybe because you're his partner. (Yes.)

☆Moon: This guy takes more time to say it. It's because there's always some thought that keeps FUCKING BOTHERING HIM. Is he being cheesy? Too rush? Or anything? Is he being too clingy? Would you think badly of him?

"Moon?" "Hmn....?" He looks away in embarrassment when you notice that he's spacing out. And you asked if he's alright... to which he replies that he's simply fine and nothing more. He doesn't want you to know about his thoughts.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

♡Sun: Gets pretty sour quickly when you're being flirted by other parents. Not at you but at the parents. How dare they do that when you're literally his partner? Shocking, stupid, such things can't be accepted! But it's okay, he can just tell you some kids ended up fighting just so you could handle it. Then he went to the parents and warned them to stay away from you. Making them run away with his threats. You belong to him and Moon only! No idiots are allowed to flirt with you.

☆Moon: Scared the fuck out of the parents with his eyes if they made you uncomfortable, ink ink inkyyy eyes. He can get jealous easily like Sun too and you kinda hmm...aware of that!

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

♡Sun: Can't kiss you because of his frozen ass grin. But would make a 'mwah' sound as he planted a kiss(or put his stupid circle plate) on your forehead, then later would tease you with anything that came to his mind. But his kisses tho...Imagine he has a movable mouth or lips, his kisses would be very warm and always leave you speechless. Always give you kisses every morning or when you two meet cause he's a sucker for your attention and giggles >3. As for where he wants to be kissed, he kinda likes when you kiss his cheeks hehe. ☆Moon: Always so gentle and makes you feel fuzzy inside 🥰His kisses are very comforting, I had to admit like how can you not giggle at it when he kisses you? And he also likes his cheeks being kissed like his counterpart too hehe. L = Little ones (How are they around children?) ♡☆Sun & Moon: Literally good around them cause firstly, they were made to entertain children with all sorts of activities, arts & crafts, etc,...Secondly, they both literally have the patience of a saint around the kiddos(but not for adults...Sad). Sun is very good at handling children and the same goes for Moon. They both are very protective of them and always want the best for every child, ensuring their safety is what they both would do. So if by any chance you want to adopt a child or more, Sun & Moon are the best fathers 👀. So you don't need to worry about it and just let your idiot boyfriends handle it! • M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) ♡Sun: Gently shake you awake and when you do, he kisses your forehead! Every morning, he always does that just because he's a fool in love with you. Though if you're too lazy to wake up, he immediately scoops you up in bridal style and goes to the kitchen. He never wants you to miss out on any breakfast, it's all for your health after all. ☆Moon: Doesn’t like it much mainly because the light irritates him. He wishes it was always nighttime just so he could cuddle with you, hearing your heartbeat and all. But such things…Well, kinda impossible because you have so many works to tend to. You couldn't stay here that long so it's always such a pity seeing you left. But before you leave, he would give you his morning kisses with his hands cupped your face and put his faceplate on your forehead. And there's his kiss, now go and work, silly! He's rooting for you. N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) ♡Sun: Somehow, he hates nights. Mainly because he had to drag you to bed when you're overworking. Do humans really have to ruin their health? Won't that affect their body, life and ages? Isn't that so stupid...to ignore your own health? His mind would ask this question repeatedly. And yet, your stubborn ass still insists to stay awake, which he had to take your laptop/phone away for the sake of your health. Putting it in a high place just so your tiny hands won't be able to reach it, hah! ☆Moon: After Sun managed to convince you to go to sleep, Moon takes over. "What did I tell you, Starlight...? No overworking at night." He chides softly, giving a soft flick on your forehead as a warning for not taking care of yourself and also disobeying the rules. But seriously, he would just sigh and tell you to go to bed as he sleeps beside you. And if you have insomnia, he would tell you a fairy tale. But little did he know that his voice was enough, his gravelly voice that always comforts you, it always manages to make you fall into a deep slumber as a lullaby song from his chest cavity started to play, his hand playing with your hair while he watches you sleep 0and how your chest going up and down. He just wanna make sure that you're real and this isn't a dream.🥹

Short stories, novels, or poems?

Novels! Sometimes, I think the ideas i have are too large to stay as short stories or that i couldn't capture what's needed for poems.

What genre do you prefer reading?

I've found myself dabbling a bit more into psycho thrillers now a days, otherwise the toes are buried in sci-fi, romance and the occasional philosophy book.

Are you a planner or a write as I go kind of person?

Girls/Guys/Theys', I couldn't plan a thing and stick to it if my life depended on it. I try to do both, just for consistency sake, but I often go off line anyways, but the most important scenes are always written first.

It does make editing a bitch though.

What music do you listen to while writing?

I honestly write in silence (scary i know). Otherwise, Kitchen Nightmares or Hell's Kitchen reruns are on in the back. And unless, I've already curated a playlist for what's being written, there's nothing in these ears but air.

I guess the easy answer is it depends!

Cherries Under the Sun! A new branch of writing for me, I always kinda felt like I had to stick to romance and burnt myself out. So here, we have a exploration of relationships with God and life (in both destructive and favorable manners) and the horrors of which one would go to achieve what they believe to be a righteous way of living.

I don't know...religion makes people do some weird shit in the name of their god and that something I want to explore. Did I mention there are vampires?!

If someone were to make a cartoon out of you what would your standard outfit be?

wide legged pants or leggings, oversized t-shirt and pair of crocs. although, a lot of the time; i'm winnie the poohin' it.

Create a character description of yourself: 

a fluorescent beige girl with copper sister locs, tortie glasses and a slew of patchwork tattoos with facial piercings. of average height, and my clothes probably have a layer of cat hair on them. i'm probably lifting weights or somethings.

Do you like incorporating actual people you know into your writing?

Lol yes, but half of the time its not even on purpose. kid you not, in the first chapter of Where the River Bends, i've actually had a man say that to me; and that was after I wrote it. (might be a soothsayer yall) Quite the experience!

Are you kill happy with your characters?

I have yet to kill anyone, but its in the plans. ugh, its gonna be an old lady. i'm sorry in advance; but yall might not even like her so *shrugs*

Coffee or Tea while writing?

don't shoot me! but i think dr.pepper is the ultimate answer. someone should make a dr.pepper tea. 

it might be too country of me to ask for it to be cold with lots of crushed ice.

Slow or fast writer?

I'd say i have my spurts of fast writing, but i think the slower i write; the more I get out.

Where/who/what do you draw inspiration from?

Real life, i think is the most agreeable answer at the moment. I like people watching or taking my own life experience and stories I've heard over the years and not replicating them but retelling them from my lense on life; which is very...dramatic and mystical to say the least.

If you were in a fantasy world, what would you be?

Oh, theres so many options for this...but a cook/pub/tavern owner would be the first thing. I love feeding people and making sure they have a place to get warm food, and it'd be pretty cheap too! Or, house staff to some hoity-toity family, maybe get their son or daughter to fall in love with me so I can get some inheritance...but daddy, i love them kind moment

Favorite scene to write?

Lore dumping scenes! They may be long and a little tedious to get through but they give so much insight into the smaller behaviors that characters have.

why does character A pick their nose comfortably in public? cause once upon a time; their grammy said it was okay and it's better than having it hang in there all day with people noticing!

I think my favorite so far though, is Warren and Sabryna's talk after a disastrous dinner. It was something in that moment, that they both really needed. Tough conversations equals great rewards in this case.

Reason for writing?

Cause I can! I mean; I'd really come to hate myself if i didn't let these ideas meet the paper or the keyboard in this matter. I think its very freeing to create something of your own, just getting past what others may think is the hard part.

Beach day

Zoe's POV

Double-check everything yet again to make sure we have all the necessities. I literally have no faith in myself when it comes to packing. It's ridiculous at this point. I look at the time, "O, shit. Baby, do you have all the snacks and stuff. That was your job, remember." I yelled out of our bedroom door. I hurry and run back in the room, grabbing our bags and then feeling around for our phones. Sad truth is my girlfriend loses her fucking phone all the time, I have to keep track of it for her. "I think I have everything unless you added something to the list last minute that I don't know about." Redy tells me.

I can already hear the smirk on her face when saying that. I got girlfriend intuition, yall. I don't need to see her face to know what she talks smack in there. I ran back in the room, realizing I had forgotten my sandels. "I see we throwing shade now. Don't make me have to come in there and fix that face for you. It won't be pretty, babe." Now all I hear is silence. Good, she in there think she slick, throwing shots.

Walking into the kitchen, I see her, my beautiful girlfriend. Is she really still packing these snacks after she just told me that we're all set and ready to go. "Wow, so we just lying for free now. Like that ain't even something you got to lie about, Soobin." She looks at me shocked, sitting there with her mouth wide open and stops packing the snacks. Great, now we are going to be even more late.

Redy's POV

I turn around and drop the snacks on the counter. Just to stare at her and she looks at my face and starts laughing. "First, it's never that serious to use my government name. Second, I'm glad you think that's funny. You can be the one to explain to Lia unnie why we were late." She immediately stops laughing. I go back to packing the snacks with Zoe clingy on to my back, trying to get me to change my mind. "Baby, I was just playing like it was a joke. I mean, like total reference vibes, you get it. Like Bada said it, and I mean I'm your girlfriend, so I'm allowed to say it more than she is." I turned around from the bag that I had finished packing during her little run but let her keep going because it's funny. I mean, she is weirdly scared of my leader for some reason.

Lia Kim can be intimidating, well kinda I think. But overall, she is just your average kind-hearted soul. "Baby, I didn't vibe with her when she said it. Plus, it's like an unspoken rule in our relationship. You don't call me but my government I don't call yours. For example, my names for you consist of baby, jagiya, and babe. And your names for me are babe, lovely and my heart. Now tell me where in that you hear anything about a Soobin?" I told her with a straight face.

Zoe's POV

I look at her straight face and lean in to kiss her lips. I mean, I got to get on the tip takes I'd you know what I mean but achieve it. It's crazy. When I watched SWF2, if I didn't already know my baby, I would've really, and I thought we were close in height. Like Bada made her like like one of those smurfs. But she is 5'6 and sadly, Mama gave a girl some ass instead of height, so I'm sitting here at 5'1. Eventually, I realized I spaced out, and Redy had already taken the bags to the car. She hasn't come back, so I get that's her way I saying she is waiting in the car and I have to lock the door. "Typical, I'm dating a child", I had to look around the room and make she wasn't still in here because I don't need her knowing I'm throwing shade after telling her to stop throwing shade.

I make my way to the car to see her there smiling with one hand on the steering wheel and the other in the air. "This hand ain't getting any younger. It needs to be in its rightful spot." I start to jog to the car and open the passenger door and sit down. "You are so dramatic. See you happy now?" I said while placing her hand down on my thigh and locking our fingers together. She just smilies and starts to drive.

See, the girls of 1 million thought it would be a good idea while they are on a little break to go to Jeju Island. I, of course, agreed before Redy could argue her way out of wanting to lay down at home instead. She has been working so hard, and I know she needs this. Even though she refuses to admit it, a relaxtion day with her favorite girl will be like happiness to her. We got to Jeju yesterday and have been staying in a villa near the beach area, so it's just a little ride over.

Kinda didn't wanna go at first because of Lia Kim. Now I'm not saying there is anything wrong with her. Or bad blood between us because we barely know each other, to be honest. I've only met her a couple of times, all during celebrations that the studio has decided to throw. When I first got to Korea, I had no one. When I started dating Redy, she introduced me to all her friends with her being a extrovert the list was huge. But, I love that about her. She tried her very best and still does to include me even when she doesn't have to. Lia just gave off that reserved don't fuck with me vibe. I didn't say anything about it because that's my girlfriends boss, who she looks up to very much. Though, I feel like she is just scooping me put trying to make sure I'm all for Redy. Like, duh I am I fucking love this girl.

We pull up to the beach, and I can already see Harimu and Amy chasing each other. Their energy is crazy. I'm not built for all that. Redy gets out and grabs the bags. I try to take them from her but she side eyes me. "The fuck", I yell out as she runs away to the group. I make it around everyone and start saying my hellos and bowing, especially to Ms. Kim, she ain't gonna catch me slipping. Redy jumps up and starts playing tag with Amy, and then a couple of other members get up to join in the fun. For someone who didn't wanna go in the first place, she is very much not acting like it. "Zoe is literally burning out here. Take off your coat." I finally her Debby speaks up to me.

That's right. I forgot I had this on. "Yea, I sometimes forgot, since I live in my goodies pretty much qll the time". I move to take off my coat, revealing my camisole top. Causing whistles and shouts to come from the girls. "Look at you," Lia finally says to me. Omg that's good she is complenting me. That'd like 33 scored points. Maybe she is cool with me.

Redy's POV

I turn around when I hear Harimu screaming like always, and she zoe taking off her hoodie. I didn't really see what was so interesting until I saw the shirt she was wearing. That fucking sinful shirt. It shows every lesbians dreams in one. The sad part is that my precious baby isn't aware of the effect she has on people. I have to constantly fight bitches off, because of her. I make my way over to the group when I see Lia unnie starting to grill some meat for everyone. Only to see Debby just staring at Zoe's chest. Now I know when it comes down to it, she wouldn't leave me, nor would I. And she wouldn't cheat, so I fully trust her, but looking that dammm good in front of Debby of all people yea, I gotta step in. "Oo, we are about to eat finally." Everyone starts to laugh at me while Unnie points a finger at me playfully. I look at Zoe and push a curl behind her face, and notice she did her edges before she got here. Meaning she had no intentions of getting in the water. She looks up and me and smiles.

God, I know the smile is innocent, but she looks so good right now it's so hard not to kiss her, so I do. I lean it with her, thinking I'm simply pecking her lips and trying to move. I grab the back of her neck and pull her towards me to deepen the kiss. She is startled at first, most likely shy with everyone around, but quickly forgets about them and keeps kissing me. I finish the kiss, and she sits there. He looks all dazed and out of breath and then kisses her forehead. "Oo yess, get it girl", Amy is literally yelling from her spot by the grill while looking at us.

I just continue to stare at my baby, and then I grip her waist. She feels so far away from me. I pull her closer to the point where her legs are touching mine. So I grab that and place them on my lap. I turn to the side and make eye contact with Debby, or more so tried to she just looks away and starts to hum awkwardly. I'm glad someone finally got the message, I think, while rubbing my girls legs.

SAR is not a kingdom, it is a supergroup, and it is supposed to be all capitals. There is a kingdom of Chromista that was first suggested in 1981 as a taxon and was first included in a seven kingdoms model in 2015, and it includes most of the SAR group, but that is different than SAR being a kingdom. The state of science education is in shambles, please at least check Wikipedia about sensational science posts.

I reblogged that one without checking largely because I've seen @quark-nova talk about biology in the past, and they seem genuinely well-informed, knowledgeable, and diligent when it comes to these kinds of things.

That said, sure, it's always a good idea to double-check!

The first thing I did was look at the notes of that post, to see if this had been brought up and addressed already. And, in fact, it looks like there was already some chatter that might help clear this up:

I am not knowledgeable enough this topic to know exactly how accurate this is, but I can definitely look for some context. I checked Wikipedia next, and found that "Sar" is in fact referred to as "SAR Supergroup" there.

It is also, however, noted near the bottom of the page: "As a formal taxon, "Sar" has only its first letter capitalized, while the earlier abbreviation, SAR, retains all uppercase letters. Both names denote the same group of organisms, unless further taxonomic revisions deem otherwise." It seems the two are pretty interchangeable, so I'm not sure why there'd be any reason to criticize someone's use of "Sar" vs. "SAR", at least in this context.

I also checked the "Supergroup" page to try to better understand the difference between it and a "kingdom" in biology, and found that a supergroup is both fairly arbitrary, and "often considered larger than a phylum or kingdom". Again, I am not not sure why the exact term here would be an issue, in that case.

Your claims around Chromista seem accurate to the "Chromista" Wikipedia page, and I can 100% see how that would imply that Sar itself cannot be a kingdom. And also, like, at this point there is just a lot going on here that I am trying to understand through Wikipedia pages (looking at the "Kingdom" page has only muddied this more for me, lmao) and I'm not sure how much better this is than where I started, at a certain point.

I don't have enough context here to know how many people ascribe to which theories & what's considered outdated in the field, but I do have enough experience with academia to guess that either a Wikipedia page is out of date, a theory is out of date, and/or that someone is operating on information given to them in a class that may also have been out of date, niche, inaccurate, or just incorrectly remembered.

Idk yall, I think perhaps the "sensationalist" accusation might be unwarranted here. I think this is, at worst, an honest and fairly harmless mistake in the context of educating the general public. Or maybe it's just a misunderstanding of terminology & theoretical context between the two of you. 🤷‍♂️

That said, I do think this has been an interesting exercise in "fact-checking" and demonstration of how nuanced that topic actually is, so thanks for that! Turns out not every claim can be neatly fact-checked, especially by people who don't know much about the relevant field to begin with.

Sometimes I want to write a sims story but I just canNOT... I seriously despise writing dialogue, I'm more of a descriptive writer, and that's kind of at odds with everything a sims story is lol. the visuals are already laid out, so the writing part is more focused on the dialogue. what your sims say and how and when they say it is just so important. Its more akin to like, script writing and film/TV to me. But maybe that's just the more modern trend. I remember when sims stories were more, a few pics for emphasis and then a shit ton of writing at the bottom of the post (the actual story), and I prefer that for the most part (unless someone is just excellent at the previous method with super interesting fleshed out characters, cinamun for example 🙏). But I feel like the text heavy format is less trendy/aesthetically pleasing and that's why there's less of it now. To be honest, a lot of sims stories i see in the mainly edit + dialogue format just run together for me and don't feel interesting. Theres a lot of bloom and their sims are super pretty because of the editing but I'm like... idk it just doesn't stand out to my brain. I just feel like in the majority I see its just yeah everyone's depressed and breaking up or something (seriously, its always a break up post or a couple having issues haha) and idk their names or traits but I hope it goes well for them ig. you put some bendy looking text on every screenshot and its lyrics to a sad song that reflects your sims breakup oh thats groundbreaking lol. Before anyone starts tho, I think those stories are good and I aint hating, everyone should do what they want and not worry about pleasing old fucks like me for sure. Best believe I was writing those sad songfics myself back in the day (always my immortal by evanescence of course!). You better write what you wanna write and feel good doing it. It is an art within itself and theres nothing wrong with that style, yall are really good at it. Its just not really my personal taste is all. And if anyone has any suggestions for stories that are more text heavy id love to check them out. I'd love to see one a little less focused on romance only if there's any out there. Or maybe some more comedic stories rather than depressing? But I know the story community is as small as its ever been so there might not be any. Idk, don't take this too seriously its just my random thoughts. But I'm curious to know what yall think/prefer and any recs if you have any.

I'm observing too. Either its baiting fans on purpose or its their quirky love language or Jk wants Jm's attention even when he leaves and Jm takes the bait everytime. And its a point made to do it publicly. Esp when we know they have each other's numbers and group chat. Inchresting. I'm pretty sure Jk has a secret IG too and this is how he times posting with Jm the last few times he posted on TikTok right after Jm posted on IG. He wants that connection to Jm. In music. His style. His dance, even when posting. He does it on weverse. Did it on IG, now on TikTok. Its an established pattern. There is no doubt whatsoever Jk sees everything happening with Jm. He told on himself by watching all Jm's content and saying he saw it all, even what he didn't watch with us. His posting after Jm tells on him. His algorithm told on him and played Jm videos automatically and his playlist told on him & played Jm songs automatically. It's interesting to see them keep this pattern up for years though. Number connection, posting back to back. Now Jimin leaving and Jk going live or posting ramen.

What gets me is Jm will make this public post and ask Jk to cook for him, but then turn around and say he hasn't seen him or he hasn't cooked for him when asked. He shoots himself in the foot doing that. Esp when JK told the world publicly already, YOU KNOW I WILL, OF COURSE I WILL DO IT FOR. So we know he is not the reason why its not happening. Same way we know he is not the reason why we aren't getting that Jikook live yet. He is ready to do all that. He was willing to cook it & go live. So if you are being truthful & he didn't cook yet or you didn't go over to get it, why even mention it publicly in the first place, just to turn around and say it didn't happen? Kinda sets them both up. (we know Jm got it though, but that's our little secret). Then we end up with "Jimin has to beg for food, but Jk won't cook for him, but cooks for others willingly blah, blah, blah bullshit from antis). Where was the 'willingly' in ITS2 where Tae basically had to drag Jk's ass out of the chair and annoyed him til he did cook? Straight up pulled the hyung card for food. Willingly flew out the window. I am not one to judge or shame couples who like to put their relationship on display- God knows we've all fooled around and screwed in places we shouldn't have. You and Ashido met as soon as you stepped in the door of the UA classroom on day one. It's no secret that Ashido is a social butterfly, she makes friends with whatever person she meets even bullies. The minute you walked in she was already introducing herself and asking you questions. She saw when you came in how you were shy and awkward, so she wanted to make you feel more comfortable.

After that you had basically been adopted into her newly made friend group. She knows you prefer to be on you own though so she lets you have your space when necessary, but sometimes she will bring you out with a few of the others (not too many as not to overwhelm you). She also speaks up for you so you can say what you need to say and feel heard, plus usually you be spitting facts anyway.

You two hang out one on one as well because you have similar interests. As pink, energetic, and peppy as she is she loves horror movies, video games, and Melanie Martinez (personal headcanon). When everyone moved into the dorms, and everyone comes out for movie nights they dread when it's you guy's turn to pick the movie because they'll be screaming their heads off as you two just gush about the film.

Ashido also likes to take you out clothes shopping. Whether with the others or just the two of you (preferably just the two of you) she likes to take you to find clothes that you like that best suit your figure, make you feel confident, and make your inner beauty shine (all my knowledge of fashion is from barbie movies I'm sorry).

You and Ashido actually started dating pretty early on (aka Mina doesn't get enough screen time during big battles for me to fit this in) during your time at the training camp when the villains attacked, she was so worried about what happened to you. She fought villains as fast as she could so she could find you and make sure you were ok. Once it was all over, she ran up to you and hugged you so tight you thought she'd be the one to kill you instead of the villains. When she pulled away you saw her crying her eyes out and she told you how worried she was of losing you. After everyone was taken back home, she confessed how she loved you and how she always wanted to be by your side to protect you.

After things calmed down you two officially started going out. Nothing much changed after that except you two became way more affectionate. Ashido had a lot of cute nicknames for you, teasing you and seeing you get flustered, and loved showing off and making you laugh. You love to run your fingers through her fluffy hair and rub her horns to make her blush for once and compliment her on her fighting technique. There are a lot of stories of people loving their lover "despite their shape", but Ashido loves your body so much the way it is. So cuddly and soft like a human body pillow.

Dates between you two go from having horror movie nights with the class to having horror movie nights cuddled up in one of your dorms together, and if you're at one of each other's homes then expect cooking dates filled with food fights, laughter, and ordering pizza in the end.

You and Ashido are the introvert and extrovert couple. You two practically speak a different language and always know what the other needs. You have plenty of passions to share and love to give. You'll also do whatever it takes to reach your dreams together and protect one another no matter what despite being confident the other can more than protect themselves.

this is why my english teacher believes everyone should take a basic philosophy class about the philosophy of education so everyone understands why we learn what we learn and why it's all so important

like in the end, a good majority of the stuff we learn in school is pretty important. Sometimes it seems like it's not cause we will likely never use it in this specific context again unless it's our job and it ends up getting jumbled up with smaller less significant facts that we don't need to and won't remember unless we pursue a career that requires it. but like, the practices we learn.

sure, I'll probably never use anything I learned in trigonometry again, but learning it has definitely given me practice in general rational-thinking and problem-solving skills. I've already forgotten most of what I learned in bio and chem, but scientific process is important and I know have a very vague understanding of how insulation and dilution works which can be pretty useful. history I think there's plenty of internet posts on why that is important to learn, and english is explained here. and on top of general social awareness and media literacy, both of those classes gave me some experience on giving presentations, writing, and some amount of general conversation skills.

Like, just in general, don't discount any field of learning especially at a high school level. and this isn't an endorsement of our education system cause the way those subjects are generally taught doesn't really encourage you to learn those skills and I got very lucky with the school I go to and who my teachers are, but it's not a bad mix of required core classes and they all have very valid reasons to be there.
