Went back through hard drive, dropbox, and wherever else I could think to look and unfortunately do not have any more Mechs gig photos. For my troubles, though, I did dig up the below again which caused me enough entertainment for the enterprise to be worth it

The Bean Chronicles: Part 9

You stood at the sliding glass door staring out at the sunset. Breathing deeply, you felt calm that the only thing that lay in front of you was beautiful crystal clear water.

“Are you feeling any better my love?” Henry came up behind you holding two glasses of wine.

You partially smiled and nodded. He set down the glasses and pulled you into his lap.

“It’ll be ok darling. I promise. Right now? Let’s forget the rest of the world exists. Let’s just enjoy being in Bali, and focus on being happy.”

You had panicked in the car when the news broke. Henry was frantically trying to reach you, ultimately resorting to calling Ashley. She had told him to grab your passport and pack a bag because you were headed for the airport.

Thankfully due to the insane LA traffic, he had time to not only pack your bag, but pack his as well, and charter a jet for the two of you before you even reached the airport. You had hid in the plane waiting for Henry to get there, trying the entire time not to have a panic attack. Thankfully one of the flight attendants hooked you up with a Xanax and a glass of moscato.

By the time Henry arrived you were happily relaxed and napping on the plane. Ashley pulled him aside at the front, “Just keep in touch with me. Let me know how she’s doing. I don’t know where y’all are going, but just keep here there for a week or two. I’ll see you guys when you get back.”

Henry nodded, “Thank you Ash. Listen, would you have the movers come in and get everything over to the new house? I want to surprise her when we get back. And please make sure Adrian has everything he needs for Kal. You’re also now Kal’s emergency contact while we’re gone. Two weeks. Bali. I’ll keep you posted.”

“Perfect. I got you. Safe flight.” Ash trotted down the steps and climbed into the back of the waiting SUV.

Henry walked to the back of the plane where you were stretched out on a sofa. “Hello my love.... I’m here. You ready to get the hell out of town?...Baby are you ok?” He scooped you up and cuddled you. You slowly woke up, nuzzling your face against his chest, smiling once you looked up at his handsome face.

“I love you so much. Let’s run away.” You slid your arms around his neck.

“We are baby. I need you to sit up though, we’re about to take off.”

You didn’t even know where you were going until you were halfway there. At that point you were excited and giddy. After two separate rounds of some mile high club fun in the bedroom the two of you decided to watch a movie. The flight attendant brought in the food that Henry had ordered and handed you a small tray with another Xanax on it.

“Darling, do you really need that?” Henry asked.

“Yes. I do. I’m a terrible flyer despite doing it so often. Thanks to Mindy here, I’m good.” You nodded your glass in a cheers to her as you swallowed the pill.

The first morning you woke up in Bali was unbelievable. You sat on the patio with your knees tucked into the teeshirt of Henry’s you were wearing, watching the sun come up.

You went inside to make some coffee, started it, and went back into the bedroom to wake up Henry.

“Good morning...” you cooed as you crawled on top of him, kissing him repeatedly.

“I request to be woken up like this every morning for the rest of my life.” He said, face smushed into his pillow before turning his face, revealing a beaming smile.

You shifted off of him as he turned, curling up in his arms against him, relishing being the little spoon. “I think I can make that happen...”

He hummed into your neck as he wiggled with contentment. “Good.”

The next two weeks flew by. It was a blissful blur of sex, food, sleeping, and incredible views. You did nothing but relax and be happy. You had turned your phones to airplane mode in LA before you left and hadn’t bothered to turn them back on. Thankfully Henry had grabbed your camera, so you could get pictures. Most of which would have to be saved secretly on the SD card, because neither of you had worn any clothes the majority of your trip.

You wanted to stay there with Henry and never return. You had a pretty good idea of what was waiting for you back in LA and you didn’t want to deal with any of it.

You pouted on the plane ride home. Taking an extra dose of Xanax to get you through.

You landed in the middle of the night, groggily climbing into the back of the SUV, angrily shoving your phone in your purse, refusing to take it off of airplane mode.

Henry hadn’t done so, and turned his on mid-flight to make arrangements to be picked up. Despite putting his phone on silent it vibrated across the table as all of the notifications exploded on his phone. You watched it dance almost off the table before Henry placed his hand over it, catching it. You looked at him and shook your head before dropping it back into your pillow.

Once in the car, you slept the entire drive home and barely woke up as Henry carried you inside, tucking you into bed. It wasn’t until morning that you realized you were in your new home, with Henry sleeping soundly next to you.

You hopped out of bed as quietly as you could and took off into the house to look around. Your closet was full, organized, and straight out of a dream. All of your belongings were put away like you had always lived there.

You walked down to the kitchen for a much needed cup of coffee to find Ashley sitting at your kitchen counter going overboard with a label maker.

“Hey!! Welcome home!!” She beamed, hopping up to give you a hug. “How was Bali?!”

You sadly smiled, “I didn’t want to leave. I begged Henry to just stay there forever. Clearly he said no, but it was absolutely magical.”

“I bet!” She smiled.

“How bad is it Ash?” You slumped your shoulders and dropped your forehead to the marble counter top.

“It’s not good. I mean. It’s a lot. Everyone feels horrible for hating on you. They’re all super pissed at Chris. And slightly at Henry. But for the most part they all see you as a delicate victim and Chris as the big bad wolf. Henry is still Prince Charming, but ever so slightly shady. Chris’s initial plan has backfired and they’re all calling him out on it.”

“Is it stupid that I feel bad? Like he’s not a bad guy....”

Ashley looked at you with wide eyes as she continued playing with her label maker. “Don’t go getting all soft. He’s an asshole. He shared super private personal information with the world that was no one’s business. He’s a giant asshole. Is he in general a nice guy? Sure. But let’s not forget the shit he’s pulled in the last month just to get back at you.”

She printed off a sticker and stuck it to your forehead as she walked out of the room. “Love yoooouuuu.... just calling it like I see it.”

You were more concerned with coffee and made a cup as Henry walked into the kitchen in only boxers. You stared at his chiseled chest as he walked towards you. He furrowed his brow reading the sticker on your forehead.

“Are you a soft ass bitch today my love?” He gave you a quick peck as he turned to make his coffee.

“Apparently. According to Ash anyway...” you hopped up onto the counter and sipped your coffee pulling the sticker from your head.

“I see Ashley has been having quite a bit of fun with my label maker...” he held up the bottle of starbucks creamer pointing to the ‘Kryptonite: Not for SuperBoys’ sticker she had placed on it. “She thinks she’s so funny....”

“Oh I am. But I see it didn’t stop you from drinking it....” Ashley walked through the kitchen. “Lighten up SuperDude. Welcome home!” She hollered as she continued down the hall.

You sat there stifling laughter as you sipped your coffee. He turned around and took your mug out of your hand, placing it on the counter next to you. Brushing your hair behind your shoulders and away from your neck, he clasped his hands on either side of it, pulling you towards him. “I love you. No matter what they say, we’ll be fine. Do you hear me? It’s you and me....”

“And meeee!” Ashley yelled from somewhere not too far away in the house.

“...and Ashley.”

You smiled, pursing your lips to keep from laughing, before Henry reat his forehead against yours. “I love you Hen...”

“Not nearly as much as I love you.”

You started to slide your hand inside the waist band of his boxers when his phone rang. He pulled away to answer it. “Babe, I’ve gotta take this.” He grabbed his coffee and headed to his office.

Ashley walked in from the other side of the kitchen. “Wait until you see what I did....”

“ASHLEY!!! GIVE ME BACK MY LABEL MAKER!!” Henry shouted from his office.

She started laughing and doing a victory dance. Before hiding the label maker in a cabinet. “Ohhhhh I crack myself up. You’ll see. Just wait. But I’ve gotta go pick up a few things. I’ll be back. If you need anything, text me.”

You sat there in the kitchen enjoying your coffee. You couldn’t decide if you wanted to refresh your cup and take it in the backyard, or if you wanted to track down your phone and see what was going on in the world.

‘Both.’ You decided as you hopped off the counter and ran upstairs to your bedroom. You found your purse and dug out your phone. Skipping back downstairs you swung by Henry’s office, noticing the “Fortress of Solitude” sticker on the door. You popped your head in the door to see labels on hundreds of items in his office. You silently laughed as you snuck away, careful to not interrupt Henry’s phone call. You clutched you’re mug and made your way out to the backyard.

Curling up on the outdoor sofa you sighed heavily as you swiped down and turned your phone off of airplane mode. You set it down on the sofa and watched the screen light up, one notification after the next. There were so many notifications the sound glitched out. You quickly put it on silent, tossing it back onto the cushion to finish blowing up.

“I thought I might find you out here.” Henry sauntered towards you.

“It’s not Bali... but it’ll do.” You shrugged.

“It’s better than Bali. It’s our home.” Henry laid down on the sofa, resting his head in your lap.

“I’m think I’m going to plant some palm trees...” you were looking around the yard as you twirled your fingers in his hair.

“Whatever will make you happy, my love.” He closed his eyes, a content smile on his face.

“Did you find your label maker yet?” You laughed as you asked.

“No. But I will. She labeled everything in my office. She put “Fortress of Solitude on my office door, SuperNerd’s computer on my monitor. The list goes on and on.”

“Don’t get mad Hen... she’s just... we’ll say hazing you. Making you an official part of our family. She’s accepted you into her circle now.”

“Oh I’m not mad.... I’m going to get even. This means war!” He shouted, as he sat up, acting dramatically and waving his fist before laughing and falling back onto your lap.

“Oh lord.... here we go....”

“So have you gotten into it yet?”

You swallowed hard, you knew he was asking about your phone. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Yes you do Darling.... have you?”

You shook your head no, “Nope. It’s glitched out. I turned it off airplane mode and it’s still going. I’ll either get a new number or wait for it to stop. I haven’t been able to get into it yet.”

“I’m sure your publicist is having a heart attack....”

“Oh undoubtedly. Honestly I’m surprised she didn’t show up in Bali.”

“I am too, to be honest. ....So Darling listen... I know we just got back, and just moved in... but filming starts in two weeks... in England.” He sat up. “Would you come with me? We already have a home there, it could use some help.... decorating and what not. But I can’t be without you for that long or that far away. Please say you’ll come with me.”

“Of course I’ll go with you. How long will we be there? You know I want to be anywhere but LA right now. And I’m not letting you disappear again. Ashley would kill you....”

“Filming takes like 6 or 7 months.... but we get breaks... and I think you’ll love it back home. You can meet my family... and I can show you around. It’ll be amazing to take you home.” He was beaming.

“Should we leave tomorrow?” You smiled as you leaned forward, wrapping your arms around his neck.

It took him a while after everything happened to even go near Peter’s side of the lab. It had been months, maybe even a year already since he’d be gone. It felt like a million lifetimes. Tony lost track of time when all of the days merged into one long nightmare.

He only started looking through all of the stuff he had shoved in the desk drawers because May was looking for one of Peter’s old notebooks. She couldn’t find it in his bedroom and of course, the only other place that managed to collect all of the kid’s things was in the tower. Either in the spare room that had slowly turned into Peter’s or his section in the lab.

He didn’t mean to make it an all day affair, but every little thing he found had him distracted for a while.

He clicked on the old DS he had shoved in the top drawer and it still had his Animal Crossing game inside. Tony winced as he walked the little guy character (Peter named him Han Solo. Of course, he did) around the town, through the weeds that had taken over every spot on the ground. Peter used to always make sure to check his town routinely so there was never one weed in sight.

There was a plastic spoon in the bottom drawer that once lit up when you clicked the button. It was red with a faded cartoon picture of both Iron Man and Spider-Man on it. Peter had gotten it out of a box of cereal when the public first started noticing Spider-Man and Iron Man’s unlikely partnership. He had it hidden in here so no one ever used it and “tainted its awesomeness”.

Peter kept his fidget toy, one of many, on his desk. It had been a present from Tony when he noticed how the kid was always fidgeting. Especially when he was sitting in the lab doing nothing else but homework or something that didn’t involve much moving. He threw it to the kid one day after school nonchalantly. He’d been hesitant to use it until Tony told him about the collection of stress balls he had; there wasn’t ever a time when he didn’t have one in his pocket. Tony had spoiled the kid with dozens of fidget toys; some he loved, some he liked, and some he wasn’t a big fan of. When Tony was in a store, usually a gas station, they’d sell them by the cash register and Tony bought one he thought Peter would like. He even ordered special Star Wars ones.

When he reached the camera however, he froze. Of course, it had its own special drawer. Peter took care of that thing like it was his literal baby. He used to talk to it sometimes. He named it...Tony thought hard to Peter got it for his birthday from May (she had saved up months to get it for him and the look on his face when he opened it was well worth, even Tony knew). He had been there, but Peter hadn’t named it until a few days. He claimed he needed to pick a name that felt right. Four days after his birthday, he walked into the lab with the strap around his neck and holding the camera tucked safely in his hands against his chest.

“Meet Paisley!”

“Finally named it, kid?”

“Named her, Mr. Stark.”

Tony smiled at the memory, lifting the camera up and brushed away the layer of dust that covered the screen. He tried the power button, but nothing happened. Dead. He sighed, ready to put it back in the drawer when something stopped him. He turned it carefully in his hands and popped open the SD card insert.

He put the camera in the drawer and then went over to his main desk where he had a computer capable of showing the contents of the SD card. He stuck it in and waited for the monitor to load the pictures.

The first on the screen hit hard.

Peter was staring right at the camera smiling so widely. And with the high quality the camera took pictures in and his compute showed pictures on, it was almost like Peter was right in front of him again. He reached a hand out and his fingers hit the screen.

Peter had a weird tradition of “baptizing” each of his SD cards. He always took the same first picture. Whoever he was with when he replaced it, he threw an arm around their shoulder and took a selfie. Tony was usually the one caught, though he had a few with May, Ned, Happy, Rhodey, and Pepper.

Tony was in this one. He was staring down at one of his tablets, not giving the camera a glance. But Peter was there, next to him on the couch, pulling him in close and smiling. Tony wished he had looked up...just to see that smile on the kid’s face. But he didn’t. Because that had be a normal thing for Peter to do. Tony never thought there’d be a day where he wasn’t there to fill up empty SD card and start with an impromptu photo session.

He’d never get a chance to do that again. He took that moment for granted just as often as Peter took the picture.  

He swiped to the next photo and smiled. They were a lot miscellaneous shots of people and places Peter loved.

There was May raising a pair of chopsticks to her mouth as she sat across from him in what looked like a restaurant. Which Tony bet it was. Whenever she tried to cook, that’s usually where they ended up.

Ned sitting in a pile of hundreds of Legos they had dumped all over Peter’s bedroom floor.

Ned making a funny face in the camera as he sat in a library with a book open in front of him.

Happy yelling out his window as they drove, Peter was sitting in the passenger seat.

Peter liked taking candid shots of Tony in the workshop. Sometimes Tony was glancing at the camera from the corner of his eyes, but most times he had no idea the picture was being taken.

God, Tony. Why didn't you ever take a fucking second just to look? Look up at what you had. The kid was always there. And now, he’d never be there again.

He swiped through the dozens of photos Peter took of Tony in the lab, mixed with a few of the bots hanging around.

(Tony’s favorite was the one he took himself. Peter, U, and Dum-E were sleeping on the floor in a sea of blankets Peter had set up for the four of them to watch a movie. He had made sure to drape a blanket over each of them.)

He smiled when he realized what the majority of this SD card was full of: Peter and Tony’s roadtrip to Florida over the summer. They had a big trip planned to Disney World for the kid’s 17th birthday. He’d always wanted to go to Disney World and one of the parks was practically throwing up Star Wars. There was a ride, character meet and greets, parades, firework, shows, and more just for this movie.

So, it was a no brainer where Peter was going to celebrate his day.

Except there was one problem: Peter was deathly afraid of planes. Ever since the night he crashed the Stark plane on Coney Island. So, flying to Florida was not an option. At least not for Peter.

Tony remembered when they surprised him with the tickets and told him about the private jet that would get them there in no more than 2 hours. He hands started to shake. Tony didn’t hesitate before saying Peter didn’t have to take the plane. (“I’m thinking about driving down, if you want to join. I could use the company”)

Sure, one day, Tony would help Peter get over his fear of flying, but he didn’t need to do that when he was going to celebrate his birthday. He didn’t want the kid to dread the trip. So, Tony and Peter left two days before everyone else did and they started their roadtrip.

It was the best trip Tony had ever taken. He enjoyed the car ride to and back more than the actual vacation, probably.

The collection of vacation photos started with Tony packing the car with their suitcases. Tony was looking over his shoulder as a bag on the top was about to fall over on his head. (“A little help, Parker?”).

Tony steering the wheel with one hand and shoving a fast food burger in his mouth with the other. (“Who the fuck puts mustard on a burger? Are their taste buds that dead?”)

A random horse Peter had made Tony stop driving for suddenly by screaming, “Stop!” (“Christ, Parker, you’re lucky no one was behind me. Don’t do that again.” “But he’s so pretty, Mr. Stark.”)

Peter’s dirty converse kicked up on the dash and a blur of Tony’s hand, swatting his feet off. (“Unless you want to clean the dashboard with your toothbrush, get your filthy feet off.”)

A sunset Peter made him spend 10 minutes driving to get the perfect shot. (“Peter, the sun is going to be gone by the time you find a spot you like.”)

One that Tony took of Peter fast asleep in the passenger seat, drooling slightly with his head at angle that couldn’t have been good for his neck. (“How do you even sleep like that?”)

Then the next one was Peter sleeping again, this time after Tony leaned over and fixed him so he was in a comfortable position. He leaned the seat back, laid his head in a normal position, and covered him in a blanket. (“See? I take care of you.”)

He continued to skim through the pictures and found the selection of pictured from the actual trip itself. Peter had gone crazy with photos. LIke he snapped a picture of every little thing. He was like those tourists they made fun of in Times Square.

Tony and May had taken a lot of them too when Peter wanted to be in the pictures. The kid almost cried when he saw all the Star Wars shit. There was a show that had an entire dedication to Han Solo, and Tony actually saw him wipe at his eyes quickly. Tony had rolled his eyes, ruffling the kid’s hair.

He continued through the hundred of pictures for what had to have been hours before he reached the last one. Tony packing a full car that overflowing with bags and bags of Disney souvenirs.

Tony didn’t realize he had been crying until there were no more photos to distract him. He sniffled and wiped his wet cheeks.

That was only one SD card...the kid had dozens in his drawer that Tony could look through.

He always took a picture of everything. His face was always behind the lens, taking a photo of something.

Tony told him to put the camera down and live in the moment, but Peter said he didn’t want to forget a single moment.

Tony didn’t understand how he could when it was all so clear in Tony’s mind. He could still close his eyes and remember what had happened in each photo before and after it was taken.

He didn’t need these photos to remember Peter.

Peter was the most vivid memory in his mind every time he closed his eyes.

Sometimes it was a blessing, sometimes it was a curse.

Brooklyn and the Benevolent

A/N: y’all, i have an interview today, so hopefully by the time this is posted, i will be a lot less anxious

Endless buildings tower high into the sky, disappearing deep in the grey, drooping clouds as gentle drops of rain patter down on your jacket. You stand in the middle of the sidewalk, hoards of people bustling around you, their heads down, moving quickly through the streets as they pass from one place to another. A few shoulders bump into you, making it hard to get the right angle and view through your camera that you want. You focus on the view through your camera, shielding the lens from the heavy raindrops as you line up a perfect shot and -

“Hey!” You yelp, being shoved by someone whose face was masked by a dark hood, their eyes concealed behind sunglasses. The camera had tumbled from your hands and landed with a horrible crash on the wet cement below you, pieces of the outer edges flying under the trampled path of hurried feet, the lens of your camera shattered beyond repair.

“Oh god, I-I’m so sorry,” the man’s smooth voice cracks with surprise, shock, and frantic worry. He immediately crouches down, leveling his height to where you sat on the wet ground, dirty rainwater soaking through your pants, tiny pebbles biting into the soft skin of your palms as you push away from the ground to balance on your feet while you crouch next to him.

“I-It’s fine,” you mutter, an embarrassing heat rising in your cheeks. You do your best to scrape the broken pieces into a pile, but immediately realize there’s no hope for saving your camera. “I’ll, just, uh...buy a new one.”

“Let me pay for it,” the man immediately offers, nearly jumping to his feet, your broken camera in his hand. “It was my fault, I-I can get you a new one. We could go right now if you’d want.”

Your mind quickly goes back and forth between trying not to cry over your most expensive camera being damaged and taking the man up on his offer, to thinking of all the dangers that could come from trusting a complete stranger to take you somewhere to buy a new camera.

“O-Okay,” you blink back at him from the ground. He offers a hand to pull you up from the ground, and you hesitantly take it, allowing him to help you stand. You follow him by his side down the street, taking quick glances at the vaguely-familiar face, trying to place a name to his face as you search your memory for where you’ve seen him before.

“There’s one,” he sighs under his breath. You blink at him again and scan your surroundings for what he could possibly be talking about, until you spot it - a garbage can, only a few feet away. He reaches out his hand holding the camera, and panic quickly attacks your nerves.

“No!” You shriek, lunging for the camera before he had the chance to let it tumble from his grasp. You fiddle with it until you find what you’re looking for - the SD card slot. You take out the small card and stuff it into your pocket, then exhale a great sigh of relief. “Sorry about that,” you chuckle lightly, glancing up at him shyly. “My SD card. It has all my work on it.” You sadly toss the damaged camera into the trash can, the gentle thunk resonating in your ears.

“So,” he says as you start walking again, your hand tucked into your pocket fiddles with the SD card between your fingers. “Do you do photography for a living?”

“Yeah, actually,” a small smile tugs at the corners of your mouth. You love any chance you have for talking about photography. “I’ve been taking photos since I was a kid, honestly. My parents weren’t so happy when they found out I was going to school for it - they think it’s strictly a hobby, and nothing else,” you look at the looming buildings stretching into the darkened sky above you. “But, I went anyway. I finished school early, decided to move to the ‘Big City’, and now here I am.”

“Sounds like you really love it,” a large smile spreads across his face as he turns his head to look at you.

“Yeah, I do,” you return the gentle smile. A blush burns under your cheeks as you suddenly feel shy and awkward. “What, uh...What do you do?”

“I’m an actor,” he chuckles quietly, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his coat.

“And how’s that goin’ for ya?” You laugh, thinking about how most of this city is comprised of ‘aspiring’ actors and people trying to ‘make it big’, even here in Brooklyn.

“Pretty well, in my opinion,” he flashes another brilliant smile, and you could almost see the sparkle in his eyes through his glasses. “The shop is juuust around the corner.” His pace quickens and you struggle to keep up with his long strides, but as you fall behind him, he stops abruptly, and you nearly run into his broad back.

“Here it is,” he sighs happily, pulling open the door to reveal a large, high-end store full of photography equipment like you’ve never seen before - probably because you’ve never been able to afford anything like this stuff. “Get whatever you need, my treat.”

“A-Are you sure?” Your voice falters as you take in the store, your jaw nearly touching the floor in surprise. “This shit isn’t cheap.”

“Trust me,” he laughs lowly. He takes off his glasses and pushes back his damp hood. “I got it.”

“W-Wait a minute, you’re -”

“I’m Sebastian,” his grin lights up the entire room as he formally introduces himself.

“You’re...You’re Sebastian Stan,” you whisper in disbelief, pointing a shaky finger at him.

“Yeah,” he chuckles a bit louder. “I think that’s what I just said.”

“I-I can’t believe this,” you mumble.

“Well, uh,” he nervously rubs the back of his neck. “Feel free to get whatever you want, or whatever you need.”

“I can’t just take that money from you, I -”

“Really, don’t worry about it. I got you,” he puts a hand on your shoulder.

You scoff in happy disbelief and walk around the store, becoming completely overwhelmed by the sheer quality of all the amazing equipment and cameras around you. As you wander the store with Sebastian, you ask him questions about what it’s like working with his other famous co-stars like Chris Evan and Robert Downey Jr., and he asks you questions about your life and your photography works. After nearly an hour, you had finally picked out the most amazing camera you’ve ever seen in your life, and a few other pieces of equipment that you’ve always dreamed of having. Your heart was so full of excitement and joy, you couldn’t sit still as you stood next to Sebastian at the cashier’s counter, your fingers tapping speedily on the smooth countertop.

“Have a great day, Mr. Stan,” the cashier beamed as she handed over the bags to him.

“Thank you so much, you too,” Sebastian returns a genuine, flashy smile. You follow him out, giddy with excitement to use your new equipment, when Sebastian stops at the curb of the street and waves down a taxi. It pulls up to where you two stood, slowly driving up to avoid splashing the gross puddle of water all over you. Sebastian opens the door for you and motions for you to get in, and as you duck in the cab and shut the door, Sebastian jogs around the back of the cab to slide in on the other side.

“You like coffee?” Sebastian pants softly.

“Y-Yeah, I love coffee,” you sheepishly reply.

“25 Jay Street, please,” Sebastian leans forward and tells the cab driver. The driver nods in response and changes gears, pulling away from the curb and back out into the busy street of traffic.

“Where are we going?” You blink, peering out the window.

“Just a little café,” Sebastian smiles down at his hands in his lap. “It seemed like a good day for coffee.”

“You didn’t even ask if I had time to go get coffee,” you chuckle, looking at him with a look of sarcastic defense plastered on your face.

“Do you have time to get coffee with me?” He turns his head to meet your questioning gaze.

“I suppose,” you smirk, settling back into your seat. “I’m Y/N, by the way,” you break the short silence, turning back to him.

“Y/N, huh?” He tries to repress the smile tugging at his lips. “It suits you.”

“What do you mean?”

“It just…,” he meets your gaze again, then shrugs. “I don’t know, fits you.”

“Thanks,” you blush, turning back to the window, getting a little lost in thought while trying to force yourself to speak. “W-Would you, uh...Would you maybe be okay with me taking a few photos of you?” You bite the inside of your cheek as you turn to him, and find him already looking at you, which makes your heart nearly skip a beat. “It would be for a series I’m working on.”

“Sounds like a date to me,” Sebastian grins confidently, his captivating eyes sparkling brilliantly.

Before you could reply, the cab pulled over to the curb, stopping in front of an old, tall building. The white paint had been chipped away in many places from years of wear-and-tear from the weather, but the architecture was breathtakingly beautiful. Sebastian hands the driver a few bills and gets out, grabbing the two bags with him. You open the door and step out into the unforgiving rain, and quickly jog into the building, holding the door open for Sebastian.

“Thanks, hun,” he smiles, running a hand throw his short, thick hair to shake out a few of the water droplets. “Shall we?” He nods towards a small table tucked away against the far wall of the warm, cozy café. The sound of coffee beans being ground and quiet chatter, bubbly giggles, and happy people fill the comforting atmosphere. As Sebastian goes to get coffee for the two of you, you work on setting up your new camera, nearly tearing up at how beautiful the new piece of equipment is. When Sebastian returns, he takes the seat across from you and settles in, a smirk sliding up his face.

“What are you doing?” He asks before taking a sip of his steaming coffee.

“Just playing with my new toy,” you wink at him, a playful giggle slipping passed your lips.

“So,” Sebastian starts softly. “What do I need to do for your photos?”

“Nothing, really,” you shrug. “I’m just going to snap a few shots whenever. The goal of the series is to capture everyday happiness. I know it sounds cheesy and whatever, but I’ve never done something like this.” You pop your SD card into the slot and close it. “I just want to learn how to see the good in even the smallest of things, to make me appreciate life more.”

“That’s a really good idea,” Sebastian nods slowly, sipping more of his coffee.

“Yeah, I hope it is,” you nervously chuckle. “All of my other photography has been so serious and dark. I just want to try and see the lighter side of things for once.” You hold the camera up to your face and start focusing the picture.

“Beautiful,” Sebastian breathes, a soft, caring smile shines on his face.

“What?” You blush, looking at him from behind the camera.

“You’re beautiful.”

“O-Oh, uh,” you stutter, feeling even more heat pooling beneath your skin. “T-Thank you.”

“No need to thank me, I’m only telling the truth.”

You clear your throat and focus back on the camera, taking a few pictures as Sebastian notices a dog walking by the window and smiles wildly, causing you to chuckle. Once the dog passes, he turns his attention back to you, still smiling. You catch a few more photos.

“Can I see it?” He asks.

“See what? The photos?” You lower the camera from your face.

“No,” he shakes his head, the grin still plastered on his ridiculously gorgeous face. “The camera.”

“Sure,” you hand over the camera. He turns it over in his hands a few times before raising it to his face.

“What are you doing?” You giggle as you pick up your coffee, the warmth soaking into your palms. A large smirk replaces his smile as he focuses the camera, turning the lens on you for a change. “Sebastian, no -”

“Smile for the camera!”

Until 2 years ago, I used to be a PC person. I had a giant tower desktop computer with fans with flashing lights. I replaced that with a maxed-out MacBook Pro so that I could start traveling and work from anywhere. The problem is, since then I’ve missed PC gaming. All that startup stuff gets so incredibly boring after awhile, and we need to destress. Why even leave your computer screen to destress when you can do it ON YOUR COMPUTER? YES! YES! FREEDOM OF REALITY!

So let’s browse the games in Apple’s App Store, well, they’re not so great. It’s kind of the iOS type stuff but then for OSX. Pretty very very shit.

But that’s stupid, because the MacBook Pro 15″ has two graphic cards, and they’re actually pretty powerful. And the MacBook Pro 13″ and MacBook Air have on-board graphic cards, but they’re fine to play PC games from a few years ago (like Skyrim). So it’s a bit of a shame, we can’t play games on it. And well, destress.

How about GTA V? It’s come out for PC a few months ago, so I wanted to see if I could get it working on my MacBook Pro. I was pretty sure I couldn’t, but I still wanted to try. I mean I’ve been wanting to play this for years, but never had a device for it. I mean, YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS, RIGHT?

I know you can run Windows on Mac with Parallels. But it’s a virtualization app, so it’d never run it with any high performance as the graphics drivers are virtual (software emulated) and not native (hardware). Try it with any game, it’ll probably crash even before playing it, or it’ll be extremely slow.

But then there’s Boot Camp, which lets you run Windows natively (without virtualization) and with high performance on your Mac. After it’s installed you’ll have to reboot to switch to Windows, but that only takes half a minute each time.

**Since Apple doesn’t like Windows, it makes it REALLY EXTRA SUPER hard to get Boot Camp to work. Obviously cause they hate Windows and never want you to use it. I get it. But that means it’s full of stupid bugs that you have to figure out yourself how to fix. It took me 10 days. Yes. 10 days of tears. Maybe that’s why I don’t know anybody using Boot Camp. So to save you all the PAIN and time, here is my tutorial with all the tricks to get it working. **

What you’ll need

16GB USB stick (not an SD card!), I tried a 8GB one as Apple recommends it, but it wasn’t big enough, yup WHATEVER!

Windows 8 ISO file, in a perfect world you’d buy this from Microsoft, but they make it really hard and want to ship you a physical CD (what the fuck, it’s 2015, let me buy an ISO), so just find an ISO file of Windows somewhere (okay fine, Microsoft, I guess you don’t WANT my money)

Steam account to buy GTA V PC (it’s about $50 I think, worth it because you can play it online if you buy it legally)

Prepare Boot Camp

First search for Boot Camp Assistant on your Mac. Click Continue and you’ll see this:

If this is your first time, select ALL boxes. The first one makes your USB stick loaded with Windows and OSX’s boot camp loader, the second one is the Boot Camp drivers it adds, the third one sounds weird but means it’ll partition your drive to set up Windows.

So now click Continue:

Select your Windows ISO file and continue.

It’ll take some time to copy the Windows ISO to your USB stick, and then download the drivers from Apple that are compatible to your Windows version.

When it finishes, you’ll see this partition window. This means it’ll divide your hard drive up in two pieces, one drive for Windows, one for Mac’s OSX. Here it gets really dodgy, because it actually doesn’t work properly EVER.

You need to choose how big your Windows drive should be. To calculate the size: Windows needs about 20 GB to function, then you need some space for your game. GTA V takes 65 GB, so that is 65+20=85 GB. To make it performant I rounded it up to 100 GB. But it depends on how big your games are etc. Skyrim e.g. is less than 10 GB. So you’d need only 30 to 40 GB probably.

But then it doesn’t work

The reason I said this is dodgy is because it’ll probably fail. You’ll see this amazingly descript error probably like me and my friends did:

It took me days to figure out how to fix it. But it comes down to this: (1) free up space on your drive and (2) if it has disk errors or not. Aim to get about 50% free space. For me that was insane because I have a 1TB drive, with 100 GB free, so I had to free up another 400 GB. It helps to just put stuff on an external hard drive while you’re setting up Boot Camp, you can put it back after.

The non-blue stuff on Macintosh HD is my free space, not enough obviously. Make sure you get about 50% free space on your drive. So if you have 256 GB drive, get 125 GB free. At 500 GB, 250 GB free. At 1 TB, 500 GB free. You get it.

Now fix those errors

Even after clearing all that space, Boot Camp will probably still whine and fail again, like it did for me.

That’s because it’ll run into some weird errors on your drive. Those weird errors are because off, well, I have no fucking clue. But they’re there. How to fix this? Well you open Disk Utility.

Click “Verify Disk” and it’ll check your disk. This might take awhile. I got this crazy scary error. If you didn’t get that and it’s verified, then just skip this part.

I was like “wait WHAT? NO!”. My SSD drive was broken? Why did nobody tell me! I rebooted into Recovery Mode (reboot and hold CMD+R). There I opened Disk Utility in there to verify my disk. If your disk is encrypted like mine, you need to unlock it first by right-clicking the disk, selecting Unlock and entering your password.

Then I verified it again, repaired everything and it worked fine. There were no errors. Odd right? Who cares! Because after this it worked. I rebooted into normal OSX mode and started Boot Camp Assistant again. This time I only selected the last checkbox:

Let’s try again

There we go, partition it:

After partitioning, Boot Camp Assistant automatically restarts. And then BAM!

Now Windows doesn’t like our partitions

Yay! It’s Windows! On a Mac! Don’t celebrate too early, because this is where hell starts.

See what that says? “Windows cannot be installed to Disk 0 Partition 3”. Wait WHAT? WHY! Boot Camp was supposed to fix this shit, right? I was supposed to not do anything and Boot Camp would put all the files in the right place, to make it work on Mac, right?

NOPE!

Then you press Format on that partition. And it seems to work but no it doesn’t because it says:

“The selected disk of the GPT partition style”

COME ON!

What does it take for a (wo)man to get a Windows around here?

Well, a lot. After hours of Googling, I figured it out.

You need to reboot back into OSX. Exit the installation. Then hold ALT/OPTION and select Macintosh HD to boot to. Then go back to Disk Utility:

Select your BOOTCAMP partition and go to the Erase tab, then under Format select ExFAT and click Erase. Make sure you’re erasing the correct partition (BOOTCAMP not Macintosh HD).

After that reboot your MacBook into Windows by rebooting and holding the ALT/OPTION key and selecting your USB stick (I think it’s called EFI). It’ll load the Windows install again.

Try selecting the BOOTCAMP partition in the Windows installation again, you can recognize it by the size you made it. For me that was 100 GB (it showed as I think 86 GB). If it still gives an error, go last resort. Remove the BOOTCAMP partition within the Windows installation by clicking Delete.

Then add a new partition by clicking New:

Try installing it on that partition. If that still doesn’t work, you’re out of luck, cause I have no idea either.

And then…it works

You’ll see this.

The problem is that there’s a good chance the Boot Camp drivers for Windows to understand your MacBook (e.g. use WiFi, sound, etc.) aren’t installed. Luckily they’re on your USB stick. In the Start Screen go to search and type File Explorer. Then try to fin your USB stick. Open the Boot Camp folder and find an Install app, open it and let it run. It’ll probably reboot.

Now with all your drivers installed, most of the stuff on your MacBook will work on Windows now. My friend has some problems with the Bluetooth keyboard, but that was an unofficial keyboard. My Apple one worked perfectly. As did my Logitech wireless mouse.

Now let’s make Windows suck less

Okay, so Windows 8 is obviously the worst interface any person has come across. Like Windows 8 itself actually feels pretty solid, if you get out of that insane box square maze mayhem they call the Start Menu now. It’s insane. Who runs this company? So incredibly stupid to do this. My dad just switched to OSX because he couldn’t understand this Start Screen. Biggest fail of the century.

We have no choice though. We want to play games! So to get your start menu (from old times) back, install Classic Shell.

Then set this image as the start button in preferences:

Yay! Now to disable that stupid Start Screen, right-click on the Task Bar, then click Properties, then click the Navigation tab, then check “When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start”, uncheck “When I point to the upper-right corner, show the charms”.

Now install Steam

I’ll let you do this as it’s pretty easy. Go to Steam and the top right click Install Steam.

Then search for GTA V. Click Download.

Here’s the problem, GTA V is 65 GB and that will take awhile. You obviously don’t want to be stuck for hours in Windows. The trick here is to install Parallels in OSX (if you haven’t already). Reboot to OSX (hold ALT/OPTION and select Macintosh HD) and set Parallels up so it uses the Boot Camp partition. Open Parallels, select Boot Camp on the right and follow the instructions:

After installing, try playing GTA V. Customize the graphic settings a bit. You can’t play it on super high settings, but you can go pretty far on a MacBook Pro 15″. Like I said, it has an actually really powerful graphics card, so it can run GTA V fine.

Yay!

Now you can use your Boot Camp partition within OSX with Parallels to download games/software and continue working. Then when it’s finished, reboot to Windows and play your PC games.

It took me awhile to get back into playing games when I did all of this. I mean, it’s like it has to compete with reality, which is already insane for me, and so GTA V felt somewhat “fake” to me for days, until I accepted it was a game, and nothing I did in there would be an actual accomplishment. See, that’s what startup life psychology does to you. And on a serious note, that’s why we should all play more games. Because it helps you get out of your filter bubble.

Going outside to walk your dog? Naaaaaah, why would you! There’s GTA V!

Can you run GTA V on Mac?

The short answer is yes. If you have already set up you Mac to play PC games then just go ahead and take advantage of the Full free Version of GTA V. If not, you will need to install Boot Camp, create a virtual Machine and afterwards install the game.

How to play gta v on mac without bootcamp?

Performance wise it would be unpractical using other methods. The performance decrease would make the game unplayable. However if you are using one of the latest high performance macs on the market you can give Wineskin a shot. Setting up a Virtual machine would make much sense either.

Install GTA 5 on Mac with bootcamp

Before attempting to install boot camp we recommend checking your macs specifications and cross referencing them with those recommend to run GTA 5. Next, you will need a program called Boot Camp. With Boot Camp, you can install a version of Windows 10 which is compatible with GTA 5. Here are the steps for installing Windows 10 on a Mac using Boot Camp:

Download Windows 10 ISO onto your mac

Configure Boot Camp Assistant

Go to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Boot Camp Assistant

Open the program and click continue

Select the Windows 10 ISO

Choose somewhere around 100GB of space

Install the Windows 10 ISO and configure Windows

Install recommended drivers after booting up the Windows partition

If you are running Mac OS Cataline 10.15 we recommend watching this YouTube video to make sure you are not missing out on any of the steps.

Playing GTA V on Mac

Although ac computers aren’t specifically designed as gaming machines, it is still possible to play games in them. However, if you want to run GTA V on a Mac, you will first need to install Windows 7 or higher. We highly recommend installing windows 10 on your Mac even with the latest version of Mac OS 10.15.5 via something called Windows Boot Camp (official instructions from Apple on how to set this up) using the instructions above. Also, note that, in order to run the game on your Mac, you will also need at least 65 GB of free space and your machine would have to meet/exceed the minimum system requirements for the game.

Please remember to download the game on the windows version via Boot Camp. The Epic game launcher itself is not compatible with Mac OS.

A number of users on the Geforce forums have been reporting that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been removed from the NVIDIA Geforce Now library of games. Many people used to play GTA on Geforce Now but the game isn’t available anymore. Initially, the rumors were that the reason for the game’s take-down was an update or some problem with the contract, but it seems that Rockstar has got a deal with Google for Stadia and Geforce Now yanked GTA because of that.

As soon as Epic Games Store’s official Twitter account announced that the game they will be made available for free would indeed be GTA V, understandably, a huge number of users seem to have rushed to the Store in anticipation of the free release of the title. This, however, seems to have caused a massive crash on the Epic Games servers that lasted for hours. The Epic Games team addressed this issue on their Twitter page, expressing their apologies and assuring their customers that they are working on resolving the issue. At the moment of writing this post, the server problems at Epic Games Store seem to have been resolved and people could now once again log in with their accounts and claim the Premium Edition of the acclaimed Rockstar game.

This is not the first time Epic Games Store has made such free game giveaways. Pot update: Snow

I kinda just put the hard sell on Snow. It could totally backfire but honestly whatever, better than being in limbo.

Our date yesterday was only ok. It wasn't the most awful thing in the world, but I feel like maybe we could have a better connection? Part of this is definitely on me, I know I need to up my game. Part of me is actually like, maybe I should step back from the bowl and get my shit in better order, then come back rearing to go. Like actually learn some more about more topics, current events, get all my grooming stuff in order, my house in order, create systems, a few more basic nice things to wear on dates, catch up on everything in my personal life, etc etc. But also like, a lot of that takes money - which I need these men for 😂 And realistically I'll probably never reach that magical point of having my shit properly in order haha. But it just seems too overwhelming to tackle it all as I go. I don't know.

Anyway, there were a few awkward silences, but he's kind of a weird conversationalist. He sort of doesn't ease in to topics, he will suddenly just ask really vague kind of questions and I get caught off guard. The restaurant we were at also had a glass wall by where we were sitting that looked through to a place with stuff going on next door that was enthralling him, so he'd keep looking at that and the conversation was kind of bitsy and weird. He was asking about turn ons, fantasies etc too, but considering it's our second date and I haven't seen a dime I'm kinda thinking that was a bit much, but also like, I really do need to make a list of interesting enough but not too weird things to say when they ask, lol. I felt like a boring human when I just clammed up and didn't know what to say. My turn-ons/kinks change depending on who I'm with, the situation, etc, and honestly not that many apply with him. Like I know we all joke about it on here, but for real, money actually does make me so wet. I can't exactly say fuck me in a pile of your cash then give it all to me. Or talk dirty about how rich/important you are and all the things you're going to buy me 😂 My two other main Things are a really specific body type that doesn't apply to him, or "cheating" (he knows, but still) on my husband with lots of verbal stuff about it, which is a) weird and b) incriminates, for lack of a better word, my husband, which I don't want to do in case anything goes wrong the last thing we need is anyone coming out with bad/embarrassing stuff about him as well as me. Or maybe like, me being all dom (fin-dom even better) on him and making him fucking worship me while I deny him orgasm 😂 Which once again makes me look money-hungry and conceited, and like, I'm not under any illusions, I'm really not worshippable, I'm not really that hot or put together or interesting or fun, and probably not that good in bed tbh due to the whole long-term sexless marriage thing. So I'll have to make a list of some less weird things to pull out I think haha, just some basic subby stuff I guess, teasing, maybe fun/cute orgasm denial on both our ends instead of it being mean, cutesy names, blah blah. Maybe ask to call him Daddy? A bit of exhibitionist stuff to tie in with him? Lmao.

Anyway. I talked to him a bit about the privacy stuff and he actually bought up first getting stuff sent somewhere else or whatever, then i expanded on that with the po box idea, so that's good at least. He seemed quite open to me continuing to be vague on identifiable details in general, which I appreciate.

Anyway, I kinda thought I might have blown it with my awkwardness tbh, but he said as we were leaving that he really wanted to see me again and then texted later "Was super to see you babe and am excited to know you better and explore if we are going to live out your fantasies". I figured I should take a bit and think about what to reply, because I don't just want him to think I'm going to keep going on dates for free, and try and figure out how to word it, but life got in the way and I never replied like an asshole. I just replied not long ago with an apology and a bit of small talk, but then put the hard-sell on him. I'm not gonna copy/paste bc it's long, but basically like yeah i wanna see you again, but I need to know where this is going (he keeps saying that he's not sure about the whole allowance thing bc he's never done it before, blah blah, but that he's not necessarily saying no, just that it feels weird to him) and whether or not the allowance will work out for him etc before we go too much further. I said I wanted him to want to do it and not to feel resentful, and he could take some time to think it over of course, but that each meet takes time/money for getting ready, transport, other things I don't do with that time, etc etc and I need to know it's going somewhere before investing more time blah blah. I said if he'd like to meet one more time (and casually used the word "platonically" to hopefully make it clear that means I'm not ok with a bunch of dirty talk for free lol) before deciding that I totally understand, but that I would have to ask for a "small gift" to cover my time, transport, etc, and that hopefully he understood from my perspective. Because to be fair, he knows I'm not wanting just a spoiled side-hoe gig, and we've already met twice, so I think it's fair that anything beyond that has some kind of compensation.

Oh also I was thinking of calling in after our meet to the salon to get my nasty growing-out hair cut. He asked where and I told him. They had one same day appt but i said I'd call back to confirm bc it was gonna be a rush to get there after the date. I ended up deciding to take it and tried to call back twice in the Lyft on the way and once after the date but couldn't get in touch with them which was a shame since i was over that way. Anyway he was asking what I was getting done, and asked if it was my roots (he wasn't being rude lol I'd already talked about fixing them) and I said nah I do that at home to keep costs down, just a cut. And he was saying how he wished he didn't have to leave so he could take me and pay. Like, he's so obsessed with being involved with everything, like, I don't want you there while I'm getting a haircut lol? I'm gonna look like a weird drowned rat? It will be awkward as fuck. But of course he didn't offer to give me something towards it to do myself. Oh and he pointed out that there was a salon two doors down like... ok? I go to my other one because it's cheap lol, are you going to take me before you have to leave and give your card details to them or something? No? Well i don't understand your point. It's like he's super willing to spoil but only if he has a ton of input, and like, I get that for fun stuff like clothes/lingerie or fun makeup or whatever, but for my boring daily "things I always get and know what i like" essentials kinda stuff it's like... that's gonna get annoying pretty quick.

Anyway, we'll see how he responds to that i guess, I'm not too worried either way. I'm torn. Like I hope he's down for it but also I actually did kinda lowball myself tbh like he's worth a LOT of money, but I fell into the trap of trying not to look money hungry since he's not used to allowances, and since he was going to be spoiling me a lot on dates and go shopping etc I went with a pretty low allowance figure. I figure since it's my first time etc it was ok but honestly now I'm kinda regretting it like I should have asked for more considering his worth and how often he wants to see me. Plus I feel like he's not going to stop bugging me about traveling which i really can't do. He so badly wants at least a Vegas weekend with me. I genuinely wish I could but I can't. So part of me actually kinda wants him to say no, I don't even know haha. Either way is a win I guess, bag my first SD and maybe try and find another one on the side, maybe be able to work my number up with time or really take advantage of the "extras", and at least have something coming in, ooor not and free up more time for me to find someone else, work on myself and my confidence and be ready to ask for what i really deserve next time.

WWE Superstar Shakeup Shakedown – The Hot Tag Review

And just like last year I knew not to do this review last week as there’s no way they know what they are doing…..then came more moves this week.

To begin the review we’ll start with the Raw roster in this piece and analyse the moves that have been felt on the red brand, how they will affect the wrestlers in question as well as the potential the moves could bring.

AJ Styles

The man that carried Smackdown Live the last few years makes the move to Raw, really this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone. He’s dominated with the WWE championship for a long time and turned back most competitors on that brand, once he lost the title this will have been planned to get him somewhere fresh with new wrestlers to go against.

The Seth Rollins factor will be an important one for Styles, if they really persevere with Seth as champion for a long time it could see Styles go heel if he can’t crack the number one face position, which isn’t a bad thing in the slightest.

Cedric Alexander

Im really happy for him to be moved up to the main show from 205 Live as similar to AJ he had faced most of the roster there multiple times and the freshness had long gone, the big difference here is that they will feel the need to re-introduce Cedric to the audience. I see them fearing most of their audience at home has never watched 205 Live, and lets be serious most haven’t, so Alexanders push on Raw may take alittle time to come to fruition, not that he wont be used he will but it will mostly be in defeat with him putting forward a great effort to gain support from the crowds to ready himself for the future options that come his way.

I see him gradually becoming a big threat for the US title with his pace and explosiveness, if it were me personally id be building towards a Ricochet/Alexander feud for the later part of the year over the title. A series of matches between those two would be awesome to see and will get great time on three hour shows.

Cesaro

One of the moves they decided to do after the shakeup had finished in splitting up The Bar for some reason, hopefully Sheamus’ neck/back issues haven’t returned. I know its all down to their ability to push a face but it should be easy to make Cesaro a serious threat on Raw, with the likes of Rollins, Styles, Ricochet, McIntyre, Mysterio, Joe and Zayn around he will fit in perfectly.

The big issue here is their reluctance in the past to give him the actual big push as the people in charge seem reluctant to follow through with it. Expect some bumps in the road for Cesaro’s climb up the card but hopefully his talent level will shine through throughout and see him comfortably rise to where he should be on the card.

EC3

He needs to be listed here as the other NXT talent brought up earlier in the year/the end of last year have seemingly been given their definitive brand, the next massive step for EC3 is to be noticed by the people in charge and given an actual program on tv that can give him the opportunity to impress as so far he has to be wishing he hadn’t bothered getting called up apart from the bump in pay.

Lets start by breaking it down for EC3 and where they need to start from, is he a face or a heel? Lets make him heel, lets give him Spud as a manager as their charisma together is awesome. Lets give him some squash matches on Raw to get over his character and move set, then we pick him a great first feud to make an impact in, lets pick Mysterio. It shouldn’t take longer than two months to give him some solid attention and love to see if he clicks with the Raw crowds, but he does have that IT factor they look for. But please, just don’t carry on with what we have currently for him as it isn’t doing ANYONE and favours.

Eric Young

A bit of a random move here in breaking up Sanity, a team they did zilch with that had some potential in the tag team ranks, but here Young is back as a singles competitor it seems. And I say it seems as I see some of the talent moving around getting put into teams to help the tag division, with EY being a main contender for that kind of role. And really that’s because it’s the role he was hired for in the first place in NXT, brought in as a team to help develop the younger guys he was with was his aim.

A lot was being made online about the amount of former TNA talent that have found their way to the Raw roster at this current time, and how they potentially could form a stable to give a number of wrestler’s purpose who maybe aren’t receiving much of an aim currently. While that would be a smart thing to do I don’t think its their first objective of something to try, though a mid-card stable would be fairly fresh.

Viking Raiders

Forget the name changes, forget the team name changes it wont help and will only annoy you lol

Great team that will be a big focus on Raw with the Usos and The Revival, give them a strong 15-minute match on the next PPV and the new fans that haven’t seen them much yet will be in love.

The Usos

Similar to Styles, have beaten all the teams on Smackdown and need a new scenery to look upon and work with, nuff said

Lacey Evans

The ‘Sassy Southern Belle’ has made Raw her home and is hopefully ready for the big push she’s about to receive. I love the solid background she has with the Seals as well as the lady gimmick she is currently using, I just hope they realise the best way to use it as it currently isn’t working as well as it can. For me you have her be the Belle outside of the ring but as soon as she steps into the ring the Seal comes out and is totally dominant and focused on beating her opponent, personally id be building from the get-go as a serious threat to Ronda Rousey. Don’t have her do anything that wouldn’t work opposite Ronda, no matter who it is you have her constantly be ready as it’s the best to get her over as a threat instead of someone just walking up and down the ramp posing.

Naomi

An interesting/strange decision to move her to Raw, if, you ignore the fact she’s probably been moved over solely because her husband has been as well. She had formed a team on SD Live but truthfully hadn’t been doing anything that mattered in a long long time apart from bitch on social media about not getting the big opportunity, but honestly when the company is focusing around Ronda and the main event of Wrestlemania you really aren’t going to be getting that shot by being snarky or driving the wrong way down one way streets in front of the police, and yeah it wasn’t her fault but still its not the look you need.

The women’s roster on Raw isn’t full of my favourites too much so she does have the opportunity at a fresh start over, hopefully she changes up her gimmick a little as it doesn’t click for me personally.

Rey Mysterio

Another strange move, one that feels like it was just done to generate some buzz for the next week or so then they realise they didn’t really have much planned for his future on Raw. Hopefully he gets some solid ring time on Raw and gets to work guys he wants before retiring, and that really is the main goal for him at this stage of his career. There isn’t long left with him at his level and his aim is to get his son into the business, let him develop and be able to team with him for awhile before retiring.

Sami Zayn

Ill put Sami on the list as he was a SD guy before the injury and returned around the Shakeup so…. Great talent who may need afew more week of matches to really lose the ring rust and get to grips with his new gimmick, then get him going in a feud.

One of the things I will say/point out is that Zayn and afew others will have a harder time of things now on the roster in looking a solid aerial threat or showing their speed in the ring as the company now has Ricochet, and Ricochet outclasses pretty much everyone on the roster in those areas. Its not a big thing for 90% of the viewers but for me some guys look a lot slower and more normal when in the ring with the likes of Ricochet.

Samoa Joe

Sadly he couldn’t make his Raw debut on the Shakeup show due to him being ill and didn’t get to make the impact by coming out to destroy Braun Strowman, now I’m not sure if he’s getting that feud just yet or if they’ve changed their minds as Braun wasn’t doing anything on Raw this week.

I had said recently about Joe on Smackdown Live that they needed to book him as a solid killer with the US Title to ready him to be the next big heel world champion, and that really should carry over here too. Id be looking to have him make the big move up at the end of the year and all my booking of Joe would be preparing everyone for that

The Miz

Personally I’m not a big fan of Miz and find it hard to see him as a solid threat to anything, decent wrestler but cant take that next step for me as I don’t see him as a tough guy, even defending the honour of his wife or standing up for his father he doesn’t come across as legit in the slightest.

And all of that is just solidified for me when they had him lose to Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania, and even after that in their interactions Shane still gets a solid amount of offence in on Miz as if Shane is a full time wrestler at the top of the card. They really need to have Miz fight Shane one more time for me to have Miz win resoundingly, finish with Gregg Hamilton announcing Miz as the new ‘Best In The World’ and have Miz finally move away from Shane completely.

 Some decent moves for Raw overall but they also needed them with Raw losing Reigns, and lets be honest with the WWE this list could still change over the next few weeks if Vince changes his mind. As well as that id expect some new tag teams to be formed with the new and existing talent, so that side of things could take a little longer to get past an awkward stage in the tag ranks.

We should give them all afew months then potentially come back to look at how each of the names listed have progressed and developed in the meantime, as usually this time period following Wrestlemania is one that’s a little slow with newer feuds being tried and newer talent getting opportunity so it should be full of experiments on tv.

I sat down in front of the camera and turned it on, beginning the recording. “Okay here we go,” I whispered before looking directly into the lens. “What with all the crazy happening around here recently, I thought I would make this little vlog. Just… just in case I die from some metahuman attack. Which… probably won't happen, but… y’know. People die every day and sometimes it’s the result of some lunatic with superpowers rampaging through my city.” I smiled. “My name is Heather Astra and this… is my video journal.

“So, Heather,” I began as if I were talking as someone else, “what’s it like living in Central City?

“Well,” I continued, “it’s interesting. As interesting as life can be for a young, single girl who lives alone, hasn’t really been on a date since she was eighteen, and is such a science nerd that she scares boys away because she’s smarter than them.” I chuckled and sighed. “But, in all seriousness, life is actually pretty good. I have a stable job that I love and a powerful telescope so I can see the stars.

“A little bit more about me. I just turned twenty-four-years-old. I graduated Star City University with a degree in Forensic Science two years ago and got a job in my field. I am five-feet-one-inch tall, and if I wasn’t a forensic scientist I'd want to be an actor—ridiculous and unrealistic, I know. Do I want to be a metahuman with powers? No. Thank. You. I can barely handle my own life on my own without having to deal with superpowers on a regular basis—although my little fangirl heart is excited that superheroes exist,” I joked. “I read comic books a lot growing up. I paused for a minute, wondering what else to say. “Oh. Right. This channel will mostly be me talking about things going on in my life and the city in general without too many specific details to protect the privacy of those involved. I’ll probably fangirl about The Flash a lot and talk about my fandoms—because, yes, I am literally a nerd on all fronts. And very proud to be so.” I smiled cheekily. “So I hope you guys are all as excited as I am—if anyone’s even watching this—and I will see you all very soon!” With that, I stopped recording and turned the camera off. I plugged the SD card into my laptop and began to edit. It would be a short first video, but that was okay. It was just an introduction.

Once the editing, rendering, and exporting was done, I uploaded it to my new channel: Star Sailor—which I'd chosen because it was the English translation of “astronaut’s” Latin roots.

Knock, knock, knock! The knuckles echoed off my door as the video was uploading. I closed my laptop’s lid slightly so that whoever was on the other side of my front door wouldn’t see what I was up to. I didn’t really want anyone to know about my vlog just yet.

I went over to the door and peered through the peephole.

A green eye was looking at me.

I yanked the door open. “Barry Allen!” I greeted brightly.

“Hey Heather. I was just on my way to this café to have lunch with some friends and was wondering if you would like to join us so I'm not awkwardly third-wheeling.”

I chuckled. “Sure. Just give me a minute so I don’t leave the house in my pajama bottoms. Come on in, make yourself at home for a few minutes so I can change.” I took my laptop into my room so Barry couldn’t see it, plugged it into the charger, and changed from pajama bottoms to skinny jeans. I pulled on some sneakers and a jacket. I could hear Barry humming and walking around my living room, probably looking at all the pictures I had on my walls. And I had a lot of them.

Once I touched up my makeup—that I'd applied for the video—and fixed my flyaway hairs, I went back into the living room, grabbing my bag with my wallet in it. I added my phone and smiled at my friend. “Shall we, then?” I asked brightly. I must have startled him because he whirled around so fast that I almost couldn’t track his movement. When he realized it was just me, he smiled.

“We shall. Thanks for joining me.”

“It’ll be my pleasure. I love cafés. Is it Jitters?”

“No it’s a smaller one. It’s a little farther away, but it’s got lots of delicious stuff on the menu. I know how much you love hot chocolate this time of year,” he answered. I smiled.

“Well then, what are we waiting for?” I joked.

Barry grinned. “Nothing. Let’s go.” He offered me his elbow. I took it and let him escort me out of my apartment—but pausing long enough for me to lock my door behind us. The video was still uploading and encoding. I'd have to publish it when I got back. Hopefully we wouldn’t be gone too long.

I loved autumn. It wasn’t too hot, but not too cold, and the leaves looked like they were catching fire. I could wear a comfy jacket or a sweater and drink as much hot chocolate as my heart desired without sweating profusely and feeling like I was overheating like I felt in the summer. And Central City was the perfect place to enjoy autumn. Tall buildings, trees, pleasantly brisk breezes blowing down the roads. I was so happy I lived there.

I leaned on Barry’s arm a bit as we walked, friendly familiarity making nothing awkward between us. There had never been anything romantic between us—not that I didn’t sometimes wonder—but we were close enough that I could lean on his arm with no implications about desires. We talked and laughed and smiled up and down at each other. I was a foot shorter than his 6’1”.

“Have I seen that necklace before?” he asked curiously, nodding at my chest.

A silver five point star charm hung off a thin chain of the same color. The points of the star were sharp, but the center had been rounded out a bit so the charm wasn’t just a flat plate.

I shrugged. “Probably,” I remarked. “I mean, I've worn it every day for the past… five months.”

Barry grunted. “Hmm. Guess I just never paid enough attention. Sorry about that. It’s really pretty,” he offered. “Just… kinda… suits you. If that makes sense.” He looked a little embarrassed. His cheekbones went slightly pink.

I grinned. “Thanks. That’s very sweet of you.”

“So,” he began, obviously trying to change the subject. “What's new with your life?”

I tried not to panic. I was a bad liar. It was hard for me to avoid a direct question. I didn’t want to tell him about my vlog because I had only just started and I wasn’t sure if I even wanted anyone in my normal life to know about it. I mean, sure it would be better for me to tell him myself than to have someone later share a video of mine on the internet and have him discover I'd told a story about him or something—but I didn’t want anyone to know just yet. Maybe if it went somewhere I'd start talking about it more. But for the moment, I wanted to keep it on the down-low.

So I shook my head and avoided his eyes. “Nothing really. Just spend too much time on the internet, as usual,” I answered, mostly-truthfully.

That made him chuckle. “Yeah same. My social life consists almost solely of Netflix.”

“Well at least we’re both away from the internet and Netflix for a little while now,” I commented, leaning against his arm again as a breeze brushed across our faces. Barry smiled as we walked, though he seemed a little jumpy.

“True,” he conceded.

We walked and talked on a little bit more for a while as we strolled through the city, taking in the sights, sounds, scents, and people. It was a great place to be—even with the metahumans and all of that crazy stuff. As long as the Flash was around to battle the metahumans I wasn’t too worried about the future of Central City.

Barry pulled me to a stop. “Here. This is it.” He took me into the coffee shop.

acnl hacking guide (soundhax)

Background:

I found out what hacking was maybe a year back or so, and I really wanted to hack my town. But sadly, after doing some research, I found out I couldn’t hack my town because my 3DS was updated to a version unable to hack. I was pretty upset, until about a month ago I heard about the Soundhax release. I tried it, and to my surprise, it was pretty simple and easy to use. I know other guides are out there, but I thought I would make one to help people who are new to hacking (like myself). I am nowhere near a professional at this, just someone trying to help. So without further ado, here is my hacking guide (pictures are included)!

What you need:

~a digital or physical copy of ACNL

~a 3DS running version 11.2.0-35 or below

~a computer that can read your SD card

Questions I am probably going to receive a lot:

~I am stuck on [insert step number here] HELP??!!

You probably missed a small step somewhere. First off, power off your DS and try again. Sometimes homebrew won’t open for me and I don’t know why. If that doesn’t work, try whatever step you were on again. If it still doesn’t work, message me!

~Do I have to make a backup every time I want to edit?

YES YES YES! If something happens to your town, it’s an easy fix to just inject your last used save/edit. Without backups, you may not be able to fix this.

~Can I use the internet with this hack?

Yes and no. As I am typing up this guide there has not been a firmware update. I am able to use the internet and applications that need it. However, if an update comes along, it may automatically update. As far as I know soundhax cannot operate on any firmware higher than 11.2.0-35, so if you do end up updating you probably wont be able to use soundhax. There may be a patch for higher firmware in the furture, but it is not certain. Your best bet is to not use internet or find a way to block the update. (here is a guide on reddit)

Actual Guide:

(FYI: I am doing this all on a windows computer)

1. start off by downloading the following

~homebrew launcher starter kit and otherapp here

-make sure to put in your firmware before you download otherapp

(if you can’t find your devices’s firmware, open settings and it should be in the bottom right corner on the top screen)

~soundhax here

-again, make sure to put in your correct firmware and what DS you have (old/new)

~svdt save manager here

-click on ‘clone or download’, then download zip

2. Remove your SD card from your DS and pop it into your computer.

-Open your SD card up, and your downloads folder. All the things we just downloaded should be in downloads folder.

-open/unzip ‘starter’ and drag the contents into your SD card

-drag ‘POST5′ (this is otherapp) into your SD card

-rename the file otherapp.bin

-drag soundhax over into your SD card

-open/unzip ‘svdt-master’ and drag the contents into the 3ds folder on your SD card

3. Now it’s time to dump our save!

-basically what this is doing is making a backup of your current animal crossing game

-you always want to have a backup in case something goes horribly wrong :(

-eject your SD card from your computer and insert it back into your DS

-turn on your DS and open the sound application

-tap open on ‘/SDCARD’

-you should see ‘

-tap play

-the sound app will crash, and the screen will look something like this

-after flickering a few times, the homebrew launcher should open!

-tap ‘svdt-master’ (sometimes you have to tap twice, because it might not be selected yet)

-tap ‘svdt’

-press A to select ‘Animal Crossing: New Leaf’

-if you have done everything correctly, the bottom screen will flash red, then this menu will pop up

-congratulations! you have successfully dumped your save!

-press start twice, then A to exit out of homebrew

4. Here comes the fun part: actually editing your town!

-turn off your DS, take out the SD card, and insert it into your computer

-now that we have made a save of our town, we can edit it

-open animal crossing new leaf save editor here

-please note that neither Marc Robledo (the creator of acnl save editor) nor I am responsible for anything that happens to your town or data

-use this tool purely at your own risk

-open your garden_plus.dat file with acnl save editor

-welcome to acnl save editor!

-I won’t go over every detail of how to use it (if this guide does well enough i’ll do another one of just acnl save editor)

~basically, the map tab shows a pixelated map of your town

-you can delete items, or add new ones pretty much anywhere!

-left click to place items, or if you are holding nothing it will delete items

-right click to copy items already on the map

-you can delete rocks, but make sure you have a least 2

-you can move buildings and pwps already on the map under the buildings sidebar

-you can change how your map looks in the acres section

-be careful with this though, you need to have certain features for your file to not corrupt or your game not work

-I do not know how to use this feature yet… sorry!

~you can edit your mayor and other characters in the players tab

-this tab is pretty self explanatory

-this is where you can max out your bank account, medals, meow coupons, encyclopedia, emotions, and badges

~the island tab is where you can, get this, edit your island :)

-basically you can place any items you want

-you can edit your island map, but again, just like the main town map, be careful. you could mess up your save if you don’t do it a certain way (I would advise against it anyway, unless you know what you are doing)

-edit your villagers in the villagers tab

-you can swap your current villagers for any villager you want! :o

-you can edit their catchphrase, unbox a moving villager, and even reset a villager back to default (this resets their catchphrase, clothes, and furniture)

-you can also change your past villagers and who is at the campsite or in the RVs

~the shops tab

-change what is being displayed in virtually every shop available

-you can also change what custom designs are being displayed in the Able Sisters shop

~the other tab is where you can change your town info

-I haven’t tried any of these settings out yet, except to change my town tree size stage from 5 to 7 and unlocking all pwps

-so basically just do some research before changing to much

-hit save changes once you are done editing your town (don’t worry, you can always edit it more whenever you would like)

5. Injecting your edited save

-this is the final step to hacking your town, yay!

-open up your SD card folder and make two new folders: one called ‘acnl new save’ and one called ‘acnl old saves’ (I’ll explain why later)

-move your ‘garden_plus.dat’ file you downloaded from acnl save editor to the ‘acnl new save’ folder

-eject your SD card from your computer and put it back into your DS

-open up homebrew (open the sound app, then play ‘

-homebrew should look like this when it is open

-use the D pad to move the little >>> arrow on the top screen

-move it down to the ‘new acnl save’ file and press A

-choose the ‘garden_plus.dat file’ by pressing Y

-you will get a confirmation selection on the bottom screen

-press select to inject your edited save

-if the bottom screen gives you an ‘overwrite confirmed’ and a ‘finished!’ text you have successfully finished hacking your town!!!

-exit homebrew by pressing start twice and then A

-open up your acnl game to check out your edits!

*IMPORTANT*

-always make a backup of your save every time before you begin to edit

-open homebrew to dump your existing save

-edit using acnl save editor

-move your old ‘garden_plus.dat’ file into the ‘old acnl saves’ folder

-save your edits and download your new ‘garden_plus.dat’ file

-move it to the ‘new acnl saves’ folder

-it is important to only have one garden_plus file in your ‘new acnl saves’, otherwise homebrew cannot inject the file you want

-i like to rename my old files with numbers, so I know which one is which

While the GoPro Hero5 has many of the same specs as the previous generation when it comes to video and photo resolutions, there are some new features in it.  Individually no single feature is a massive leap forward in the action cam industry, but collectively they represent a notable and substantial difference over the Hero4 Black.  This section is mostly focused on these new features, while the remaining sections take a deeper dive into the core functions of the camera, as well as touch on these new features in more detail.

Fully Waterproofed: Probably the most notable item is that the GoPro Hero5 Black is now fully waterproofed without the need for a separate case, just like the GoPro Hero4 Session was.  In fact, it has nearly the same rubberish material on the outside.

What is of more concern though is the USB-C/HDMI port door.  This door pops off for placement into the Karma gimbal/drone, as well as just for charging:

Now this won’t easily pop-off while it’s locked in place, as you have to press a button down to open it (plus slide it).  But, the trick will be not losing it after charging your camera or while the charging cable is attached.  GoPro does sell the door as an accessory (albeit over priced), and I know I plan to buy an extra door and then seal it up somewhere special in my backpack/suitcase for traveling.  Because I guarantee you that I’ll lose it at the most inopportune time on a trip to some beautiful watery location and be unable to take pictures of The Girl underwater in a bikini without the door.

Speaking of doors that we don’t want opening up, we’ve also got the battery compartment down below.  That holds both the battery as well as the micro-SD card:

Touch Display:

The Hero5 takes the touch display found on the Hero4 Silver and advanced it forward.  As you might remember, the Hero4 Black actually lacked a display.  This was one reason that the Hero4 Silver was actually a more day to day favorite of mine than the Hero4 Black was.

However, the touch display acts and feels significantly different here than the Hero7 Silver.

The entire menu system has been redone to make it more intuitive to find settings.  Along the bottom it shows you the basics for that mode.  For example, in the video mode it shows you resolution and frame rate.

You can tap on it to change these specs.  Only the available frame rates will display for a given resolution.  In theory this looks beautiful, but in practice it’s actually more cumbersome than I expected.  I think this is because there’s just too many resolutions too closely together for a normal sized finger to hit the right resolution on that small display.

On the right side of the display you can enable various advanced settings for that mode, such as ProTune, Image Stabilization, and Audio Control:

All of this is of course waterproof as well.  Though, it won’t work underwater.  For that you’ll need to use the push-buttons on the top/side of the camera to change modes.

Speaking of a wet display, in general I found it doesn’t work well when wet either.  Especially if your fingers are wet, it all goes to crap and fails to respond.

You can turn this option on/off, and it’s available in seven languages.  Also, if you have the Remo accessory remote, that’ll accept voice commands too in the event the camera is out of range of your voice.

But…it’s not perfect.  I found that it works most of the time when standing still.  But once you start moving I found both it and the Hero5 Session actually perform worse than Garmin does.  At about 10MPH (15KPH) I find the ability to give commands pretty much dies no matter which way the camera is facing.  Whereas with Garmin it’ll continue working above that speed as long as the camera is facing you.

Video & Audio details

Ahh yes, video time.  No better place to start diving into features than video modes.  In many ways the Hero5 is similar in these modes to the Hero4 Black.  After all, it too has 4K @ 30FPS and 720P @ 240FPS, the two ends of the spectrum that people often talk about.  The footage looks beautiful in 4K – no doubt.

So what’s new and notable here?  Well we’ll start with the video stabilization.  Technically this is ‘electronic image stabilization’, which works by taking a larger resolution video clip (i.e. 4K) and then smoothing the video by offering a reduced resolution rate while stabilized (up to 2.7K).  By doing this it essentially stabilizes by cutting the edges off the corners to make the video appear smooth.  It’s the same thing that Garmin does on their VIRB Ultra 30 (but the Garmin is limited to 1440 vs the higher 2.7K), but is different than what Sony does with their new X3000R, where they use optical image stabilization.  That’s better because it doesn’t crop any of the image.

To enable image stabilization, you’ll simply swipe from the right.  It’ll warn you about cutting about 10% of the field of view:

For cases where you’ve got some light chop in the roadway, or even for hand holding the unit, image stabilization can dramatically improve things.  Though, that’s at the sacrifice of resolution.  If your final output product’s 1080p, then it’s largely a no-brainer.  Do note that it generally works better when you’re shooting something that has a large portion of the image facing one direction constantly.  Versus on a helmet mount, it can get a bit wonky as you move the view around a bunch.

What’s even more interesting though is the ability to record the native audio files from each microphone separately.  If you enable ProTune, you’ll see a new option to do this.  Within that you have three levels:

All of these were simply taken at room temperature; obviously aspects like environmental temperature will impact things considerably, as will other modes and increased frame rates.  But those give you some basic bounds to work within.

Photo mode:

While the Hero7 Black doesn’t offer any more resolution than the Hero4 Black did, it does offer a number of substantial photo-focused features.  First, the basics though.  To get into the photo mode you’ll go ahead and tap the mode button until you see photos.  Or, just tell the GoPro to take a photo using voice commands.

Now there are technically different photo modes, including the ability to take a burst photo, a series of photos as a timelapse, or night photos. Note that this photo timelapse is separate from the video timelapse option.  This produces a crapton of photo files, whereas the video timelapse produces a single video timelapse file.

That’s the basic differences. Again, both cameras are very good, you won’t go wrong with either.  For me, I prefer the Hero5 Black because I like to be able to see and frame up what I’m taking a photo/video of.  Whereas the Hero5 Session it’s shoot and pray that you’ve got it lined up.  Sure, you can use your phone for certain shots – but most of us won’t do that.

I seem to be reviewing quite a lot of things that  these is I've had these for a while and  I've just been lazy to get round to it  this is kind of a fun thing that I  wanted to share this will be going on  sale no doubt on eBay at some point this came all the way from South Korea and  what is it well this is the Samsung  galaxy folder this is then there's a  second one actually a Samsung Galaxy Folder this is the original one and  well you can guess there's a folder phone as the name suggests but with a touchscreen and the physical keyboard I don't know what it is I'm maybe I'm harking back to less complicated times with cell phones but I am thinking about my old Motorola RAZR but I quite like a folder and me just like to look at them  I'm not saying that you'd be using this  as your daily driver although this one I'm yeah I think to be pretty cool you could use as a second phone so the specs well it is a quad-core processor.

I think it's Samsung's own quad-core processor it has 1.5 GB of ram this particular model has 8 GB internal memory and you can put an SD card up in it says up  to 256 GB I'm just looking on their  website  the screen is 3.8 inch is not  particularly large and the resolution is 800 x 480 which might not sound a lot  but when you're talking about 3.6 inches it's actually pretty sharp so it's  and not bad at all it looks pretty  decent to me and the only thing I can't remember is it, Jillson, I don't  think it is I don't think it is Dual-Sim, of course, the back comes off and the battery is user-replaceable which is  always a handy thing camera is the main camera is eight megapixels and it was it say about the front camera two megapixels for the Selfie Camera so I mean it's not particularly high end but again it's a bit of fun I got this on EB  as I see it came from a sailor in Korea  and this one came in just about a  hundred dollars which were pretty decent and not including the atom mix and I like this cover is kind of like a  rubberized material pretty grippy and yeah I mean I just think it was cool and  it feels like we're made and of premium material of course with the 8 GB of internal memory is not particularly  much and does only come with a  5.1  Android and I didn't check recently for a let I just see here if there's  anything I system update  none of that is confirmed okay I don't think this is anything  device registered checking for an update let's see because it's been a while ladies' updates already been installed.

Okay so no update they're let me just press the back button and yeah so it's Android 5.1.1 which is Lollipop so I don't know what will ever get an update I don't know I don't think that's the point, to be honest with you it's just a bit of fun which I quite like  so I did do just for your and for my  interests I did do an and the score was not particularly high it was nearly 28,000 but again like I  said about the retail samurai that score really and it really ultimately means nothing because actually this the phone feels pretty decent  when you're using  the touchscreen which of course it has a touchscreen and I never noticed any not  I was using it for a lot of things but I  didn't notice any major hiccups or  delays anything like that it didn't start it's been working fine and unfortunately for my eyes, I am the screen maybe.

I just without my glasses maybe just a bit small without wearing  you know a pair of magnifiers just been made the home button there interestingly the T2 the V key world T2 its am the I know that  Samsung has its own a version of this the T2 has a dual-screen the inside one's not touchscreen but the outside one is but I believe it's incredibly expensive  it's probably around like at five-six hundred dollars and like this phone really only available in the Far East and people Asian people quite still like folder phones so this is where they're  still popular and I mean I quite like as well I don't think it looks pretty good coal quality is decent and know that  people will be so there I'm just going through my email you know that you're gonna read my email but I mean you can really do everything and here I'm controlling from the up and down button but so you can control stuff from you’re the physical buttons as well I'll be honest with you I did try and type let's  see so we have a dedicated on so let me  show you this first of all, there is a dedicated camera button here and you just go it be careful because of your hand maybe over the camera so you can either. 

You can take a fall or I think you can  take a fall or with their hardware  button as well what you can and so you  have two options touchscreen or the  hardware button will ever take your  fancy so yeah I was going to show you whereas so you can set the buttons to something this Sam one opens up the I thought this  was I'd set it to SMS but it's opening  up the would you call it the place door  I wanted to try and let me see this is the multiple and God lots of stuff all  in here so you can see I can easily go  through these and you can use a  combination of the physical buttons and  the touch screen to get your way through this thing and it looks it's plain fun I like if I didn't need the money I would keep her I wouldn't sell that I'm slightly close all of these my god I have no wonder so I had all of these  open and it was still working pretty decent so what is not easy to do is to compose a message using  the keyboard because of it takes a while to  get used to right okay  let's put this one yeah and enter the message right so you  can do on the on-screen keyboard or you  can use the hardware keyboard and it  does this one you can see it's not easy to see on this but it does have some Korean language and it takes a wee bit  of time remembering to use a physical keyboard.

But I think that practice you could do it and some people like for me I'm not seeing that III can't do it but  I was playing around with it and the  more I played around with it the more I kind of remembered how to use a keyboard  and it's not something you're going to do all the time but there you go you have the option to do it and again this would be your major your primary phone  this could just be whatever secondary phone battery life is pretty decent and  the battery life the battery size let me check and I'm looking at is my saw here  somewhere where is it it's an 1800 mAh battery and really it seems to on standby at least as last few days, I  think the battery is pretty decent so not as power-hungry obviously the size of the screen is  you can see it's not sucking the power  from your body so it can last  you know a decent amount of time again.

This could be the phone that you'd leave in your car for an emergency it could  easily be your travel phone your  business phone if you want like a wee  bit of fun you can put up you can put in  your memory card and you can see here in  my hand it's kind of long but it's pretty thin and it's not anywhere near as heavy as the Vicky World T2 it's very light has it's a USB sea captain and let me check yeah no it's not it's a micro USB and is the for charging and one other thing I was going to share here so  it has a headphone jack on the side so you  can fill up with your music and take it a traveling with you and for people who  just want a bit of the bit of difference and this is the thing this is my personal the opinion you know all  phones are beginning to look very  similar and I mean I like the  good-looking phones why I bought the  iPhone X because of I thought it looked really good but generally, they're all becoming very much similar to each other and it's just sometimes nice to have a  wee bit of fun and this is what  definitely what this phone is and who knows you may get into using the keyboard again I don't think I  will  I don't think I was ever that good  keyboard when keyboards where'd the  thing I don't know if anybody had a roll eraser which had the very thin but the phone was very thin I wasn't  particularly fast using the keyboard then but I really liked I relate that Motorola RAZR I would like one with a touchscreen and I'm not sure that such a  thing exists but I really liked so yep I  mean what else I got to tell you about  this don't have anything else no oh I played some music through my ieg and  yeah I thought it sounded really good  the Bluetooth was strong no problems whatsoever nothing else really to see about this other than for 1.5 GB of ram the Android Lollipop is doing really pretty good it seems to work really well and I've had. 

I  haven't noticed any issues the screen let me just show you skin I've got on full brightness but again I'll take it  down a bit even on half brightness the  screen still looks very nice and I put  some flow of there to kind of let's see  if you can see yeah it's not easy but  the screen is pretty decent so for those of you looking for something a wee bit different the Samsung Folder is  something to consider although you could look at the folder  too but I think it's certainly with  double the price and maybe, even more, these you could get quick cheaper and you know have some folder fun so I just wanted to quickly  share this with you and because I'm going to put it for sale on eBay Yuki  hopefully somebody will buy and enjoy  that's a Samsung galaxy older any questions anything comments in the bottom I will do my best to answer them  thank you bye.

We have no idea, but both the standard and premium plans listed on YI’s website are generally less expensive than those in the app, so we’ve included them here. The app includes a basic plan that’s only $3.99 a month and not offered on the website, so be sure to shop both the app and the website to find a plan that works for you.

  YI’s monthly cloud storage fees are about the same price as Nest’s, but Nest offers continuous video recording with all of its plans. By comparison, Wyze Cam Pan gives you free 14-day rolling cloud storage for all motion- or sound-detected events. 

  Tech and Equipment 

The YI 3 camera has an attractive modern design, but it’s not as maneuverable as other home security cameras. It doesn’t have a handy ball socket like Nest Cam or a fully panning lens like Wyze—you can only move the YI up and down—so mounting it on a wall might make it difficult to get a good viewing angle. 

Fortunately, the YI Home Camera 3’s wide-angle lens makes up for its lack of maneuverability. No matter the size or shape of the room I placed it in, it was easy to find a good angle that captured the majority of the room’s area. 

If you opt out of cloud service, you can use the YI camera’s micro SD card storage (SD card not included) instead. We inserted an SD card into the slot for our test period and it gave us about three days of motion-triggered recordings, even in high-traffic areas. YI uses 1080p HD video, so the daytime picture quality was nice and clear when the connection was good. Turning your smartphone screen to the left or the right simulates camera panning and lets you see more of the picture. (We won’t talk about how much time I spent entertaining myself doing that.) The camera’s night vision was also quite clear, so no complaints there.

Unfortunately, the YI 3 often had very poor connectivity. Whenever I opened the app, it took several seconds to a full minute to buffer. When you’re anxious to see what triggered a notification, that amount of time feels like an eternity. If it did finally manage to connect, the video was choppy and occasionally pixelated. Sometimes the app would tell me the camera couldn’t connect and ask me to check network settings. When I did, it always showed connectivity as “excellent.” Other times, the app didn’t give me any notifications about connectivity and I would assume it was connected. But when I’d walk through the room and still see a “live” video feed of an empty room, I’d realize it wasn’t really a live feed at all. It’s a cool trick for a bank heist movie, but not so great for my home security camera.

Installation

Installing the YI Home Camera 3 took only about 15 minutes, with no tools required. The app and voice prompts from the camera walked me through every step of setup. The camera base has adhesive so you can conveniently stick it to a wall or another flat surface with no screws. The magnetic base lets you securely attach it to a metal surface like a refrigerator (so you can finally see who’s been eating your favorite yogurt). The camera needs to be plugged into a wall, but its cord is only about 6 feet long, so if you want to put it somewhere farther from an outlet, you’ll need to use an extension cord. 

Features

App and Notifications

I set the camera up in my office, and despite the poor performance of its live feed, YI’s motion sensor video recordings and app notifications worked pretty well. When the camera detected motion, the app sent a notification to my phone. The videos were mostly clear, but to view anything longer than a 6-second notification clip, I had to switch over to cloud storage or the SD card footage. 

I liked that I could adjust the frequency of the notifications in the app so I wouldn’t get a constant stream when my kids decided to use my office for a game of hide-and-seek, or when my husband was going in and out searching for his tape measure. (It was on his desk the whole time.) I could also set a schedule for the camera so I wouldn’t get notifications while I was in there working.

Two-Way Audio

I’ve used cameras with two-way audio before, and I’ve found that it’s a great way to talk with my kids when they’re at home and I’m not. Sadly, the YI Home Camera’s two-way audio rarely worked, and when it did, the sound kept cutting out—on both sides. The last thing I need is yet another way for my kids to avoid listening to me, so it was disappointing. 

Sound Detection

The YI’s sound detection feature worked great for alerting me to loud noises, and I could adjust its sensitivity. It’s a nice feature if you want to use the camera as a baby monitor or get notified if your dog barks when you’re not at home.

Smart Detection

While I appreciated the camera’s ability to detect the difference between humans, animals, and other motion, I felt like YI used this feature as a way to advertise the Home Camera as a smart camera even though it has no smart home functionality. When compared to the best security cameras on the market, not having an integrated app or smart device integration is a significant strike against YI.

Smart Cloud Search

We like that YI Cloud has adopted the fast scanning feature of Nest’s cloud storage so you can find the recording you need quickly by looking through a spread of thumbnail shots. Unfortunately, trying to play back the clips from these thumbnail images worked only about half the time. You can also fast-forward video up to 32x normal speed to search through it quickly.

Customer Service

When I contacted YI support with a question via email, a representative got back to me with a personalized response within 24 hours. YI also has customer support lines open from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, which are odd hours, but may have something to do with the company being based in China.

YI Camera FAQs 

How is the YI 3 different from the YI 2?

The YI 3 has a slimmer profile than the YI 2, and it no longer has Gesture Recognition, which was a feature that allowed you to motion to the camera and record 10-second video clips. But YI added features like Smart Detection, Sound Detection, and Smart Cloud Search to the YI 3. 

In our testing, the YI 2 occasionally had problems connecting, but once it was connected it didn’t have the same choppy, pixilated video issues that we found with the YI 3. 

Is there a YI Home app for Windows?

Yes, but we’ve heard it’s a pain to use.1 Fortunately, you can also download the app on your iOS device, Android device, smartphone, or tablet, and YI Home also offers the latest version of its apps as APK files for eager Android users. 

What are the pros and cons of having a wired security camera like the YI?

The biggest pro to wired security cameras is that you never have to worry about changing batteries. The cons are that you’re more limited in placement than you might be with wireless security cameras and you’re more vulnerable to power outages. I love how YI has taken so many great features from other pricey top cameras and put them into this inexpensive home camera, but I wish the company had put a little more work into creating quality technology to keep its video feed connected. It was definitely more of a headache than a help. If I’d purchased this camera for my home security, I’d be returning it.

The Best Summer Trail Camera Strategy

The most prominent trail camera strategy in today’s deer-o-sphere is using them to confirm what a hunter already suspects about local whitetails. This is why so many of us mount cameras over standing soybean fields or the edges of food plots in July. We know bucks feed regularly in those spots, and we want to get pictures of them.

It’s pretty simple, really, but often not all that productive. If you’ve got a property locked up and know that no one will come in and mess with the summer patterns, then yes, you can plan a strategy around those images. But be honest, you were going to hunt those spots anyway, because they’re no-brainer locations for early-season bowhunting setups.

The problem with scouting that way is that it works with a good summer destination food source — but then, those patterns crumble just before or right after you get your first chance to slip in with a bow and try to intercept a target buck. This is where trail cameras can hurt us if we’re not careful.

It’s easy to hunt on memory, but a buck that has bailed on his summer food pattern isn’t likely to return to it in a way that will allow you to encounter him during shooting hours. This is especially true if you’re hunting pressured ground, whether public or private.

A better bet with scouting cameras is to use them to figure out what is going on in the places where you’re really not sure what the activity level is, or to sort out the routes target bucks are taking as they travel to/from food sources. Practically speaking, this is what scouting is all about, and it’s possible with the right camera strategy.

The idea obviously is to identify good bucks that might be moving during legal shooting hours, then pin down locations you can sneak into, and actually hunt, correctly. Doing so isn’t nearly as easy as we’d like to believe, though. If it were, success rates would be much, much higher.

Each year I hunt whitetails on public land in four or five states, and if there’s one thing I find consistently, it’s that the easy spots are nearly always worthless to hunt outside the hottest part of the rut. The better bucks I see, and occasionally arrow, almost always have made the mistake of moving during daylight either on a travel route or in a staging area, both of which will be in security cover.

While some big bucks seem to be terribly ensconced in a nocturnal lifestyle, most aren’t. They just don’t move a whole lot during daylight in any place but their favorite sanctuaries. This information matters, because those might be the only spots in which you’ll ever encounter them with enough daylight to get a legal shot.

These spots will almost always relate to a destination food source. That’s true even in the Northwoods, where there isn’t an agricultural field or food plot within miles. The deer usually have a feeding place in mind, but they’ll take their sweet time getting there — and most often, you’ll run out the clock before they poke their nose into any open areas.

So while the soybean field on your farm or parcel of public land is where the bucks will probably end up each night, how they get there and how they leave are what matter most to us hunters. The same goes for the oak ridge in the big woods or an irrigated alfalfa field out west.

My typical strategy is to start at the most obvious destination food sources and place cameras in the first patch of good cover off them, hanging in what appear to be high-traffic spots. This might be a ditch or ravine crossing or simply a trail carved down the face of a bluff. Regardless, the idea is to get an idea of which deer are moving through the cover near the most obvious food.

It’s important to remember here that the July woods can look a lot different from the September woods, and another thing entirely when you consider November. The first, most likely staging area off the food will last until the leaves drop or hunting pressure on the field edges pushes the deer deeper, or maybe persuades them to stay even farther back.

NO DICE…NOW WHAT?

The reason many of us don’t want to engage in this strategy is we won’t run in danger of having our SD cards maxed out with images. In fact, you might not capture anything that gets you excited. That’s a bummer, but it’s important. Eliminating dead ends isn’t as exciting as checking your camera and realizing that a herd of Booners has been traipsing through every day, but it’s also not nothing. Knowing where not to hunt matters, because it allows you to focus your efforts elsewhere.

This is why I try to run at least a couple trail cameras in question-mark locations. The idea is to figure out travel patterns in the cover, but you also must weigh the value of that information against how often you’ll slip in to check cameras and thus disturb the area. (That assumes you aren’t using a cellular camera, which eliminates the need to visit the spot regularly.)

If possible, I try to time my camera checks around rainstorms, but that’s far from a reliable strategy for minimizing disturbance. Instead, I force myself to give a camera at least a month in any given spot during the summer scouting period. Leaving a trail cam to “soak” in a spot for a minimum of four weeks means the deer will have plenty of time to get used to it, and all kinds of weather and the accompanying fronts will pass in that time. This allows me to compare deer movement to conditions and decide if there’s anything worth really paying attention to there.

If I do capture a good buck doing his thing a few times, it also gives me enough time to try to hang some more cameras and attempt to further pin down his daily habits. This is where different trains of thought merge onto the same track. Most of us think nailing down an exact buck’s routes is the goal, and it’s easy to slip into the mindset that deer do pretty much the same thing every day. But while they’re habitual critters, they don’t walk the same trails and utilize the same beds day after day unless they’re very comfortable in one given spot.

For most of us, those spots are behind plenty of “No Trespassing” signs and come with a serious price tag. The reality is, whitetails travel through their world in relation to the conditions and how they’ll be able to use their senses to stay safe. This means the buck that walks down a specific trail once a week is going somewhere else the other six days. Where are they? Ask yourself questions and try to answer them with long-range observation and more camera work.

For example, even though the travel pattern of a good buck on a specific ditch crossing might seem random, it probably isn’t. Think about where he’s coming from and where he’s going. Maybe there’s a pond tucked into the timber 200 yards away. Is he visiting it to get a drink? A well-placed camera can tell you.

Maybe the buck surprises you one evening as you’re swatting mosquitoes and looking through the spotting scope at a green bean field on your farm. Instead of emerging from the woods the way most of the other deer do, he pops up in a grassy swale on your neighbor’s property and hops a fence to reach the groceries where you can hunt.

I’m about halfway through the teams I want to cover (I’ve hit 34 teams with this edition), so it’s both a milestone and a motivation to keep plugging away. This week I added a couple bonus teams, one that I believe I’ve watched all their existing WWE footage and was an easy call for me, and the other is a team that hasn’t been talked about much, but I think is earning more consideration and discussion. Also, one formatting change, starting with this article the team I want to appear in the preview photo will appear last in the “main event” spot, rather than going in chronological order.

Rick Martel-Tony Garea

Years Teamed in WWE: 1980-1982

Thoughts: The earliest great babyface team I’ve found so far, Martel and Garea are masters at working a tag team match. Their matches against Fuji-Saito and the Moondogs are all excellent. Both guys are good sellers and Martel is one of the greatest fiery babyfaces of all time. Martel and Garea do an excellent job at gaining the crowd’s sympathy and support leading to hot matches against any opponent other than Baron Mikel Scicluna (they’re only human.) This will surely be my highest ranked Garea team (though I am interested in his team with Larry Z). I originally expected Strike Force to rank higher for me among Martel’s teams, but am starting to reconsider. The Strike Force-Islanders series may have the better matches, but Martel-Garea have more longevity, longer tag reigns and the crowd never turned on them, like they did on Strike Force when they faced Demolition. Regardless, this Martel-Garea team has been impressive. I knew they were good, but discovering how good has been one of the most enjoyable parts of this project. They are also the most follicly gifted team in the history of our sport with manes so luscious they make Sam Malone jealous.

Placement Range: They’ve really shot up my list after watching more of their matches, and the fact that they’re the first great babyface team means something to me. I feel like they carried heel teams of the day to matches they wouldn’t have with anyone else and should get a lot of credit for that. They’ve got good longevity and two decent title reigns and were over as hell. All that puts them in the 15-25 range on my list.

  Blackjacks

Years Teamed in WWE: 1974–1975

Total Matches: 44

Combined Days of Tag Title Reigns: 86

Match Suggestions: vs. Tony Parisi-Louis Cerdan (11/17/75), vs. Dominic DeNucci-Victor Rivera (1/13/74), vs. Dominic DeNucci-Irish Pat Barrett (1975)

Thoughts: The Blackjacks are a well-regarded team by fans of the era, but that has to be for their work outside the WWWF more than their work in the company. Wrestlingdata has them at 44 matches with WWWF in 1975, which is roughly the same amount as Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle (as a team), but the Blackjacks don’t have the classic matches to their credit. Footage of the Blackjacks is hard to come by, but I found three matches on YouTube, and they all stink. Three matches is a small sample size, but it’s about 7 percent of the matches they had in WWWF. And I find it hard to believe the Blackjacks had really good matches, but the rare ones that survived are the bad matches. I will note that Wrestlingdata had the team only appearing in WWWF in 1975 and one of the matches linked in the Facebook thread is from 1974, so maybe they have a few more matches than Wrestlingdata gives them credit for, but I’d have to hear of several hundred more matches to sway me into consideration.

Placement Range: If there’s a case to be made, I’m not the one to make it. I can’t see any criteria that the Blackjacks would do well in for a WWE list. They don’t have longevity, 44 matches is a very small sample without a top-tier match to supplement. They held the tag titles for just under three months, but that was a pretty short run for the time period compared to the other teams I’ve looked at. And based on the footage we have, their matches weren’t good. Hard pass on the Blackjacks for me.

  Shawn Michaels-Diesel

Years Teamed in WWE: 1993-1996, 2003

Total Matches: 75

Combined Days of Tag Title Reigns: 88

Match Suggestions: vs. Razor Ramon-1-2-3 Kid (Action Zone 10/30/94), vs. Yokozuna-British Bulldog (IYH: Triple Header), vs. Marty Jannetty-Razor Ramon (7/27/93), vs. Bret Hart-Undertaker (March 1996)

Thoughts:  Two Dudes with Attitude! That name sounds pretty ridiculous outside the realm of mid-1990s WWF, and Shawn Michaels and Diesel are a tag team that seems very much of that time and place. On the surface, their case is pretty solid, 75 matches is considerably more than I would have guessed, two tag team title reigns and the great Action Zone match with Kid and Razor are great points in their favor. But the case for them just seems a little empty to me. The tag title reigns never amounted to much, with few defenses making tape from the first one and the one from IYH Triple Header was reversed the next night on a Dusty finish. The famous Action Zone tag is great, and there is a pretty good match against Jannetty and Razor, but nothing else I’ve found comes anywhere close to that match. It really seems like 75 matches should have something more interesting. I’d love to see their matches against the Headshrinkers, but I haven’t found any yet. HBK and Big Daddy Cool have a strong enough case to make it, but the harder I looked the more I found the team lacking a bit.

Placement Range: I can’t see a WWE list not including them, and they meet all the criteria I’m looking for. I did hope I might find a few more good matches along the lines of the Action Zone Kliq tag, but no such luck. They’ll be in the lower quarter, probably in the 75-90 range.

  Chris Jericho-Christian

Years Teamed in WWE: 2001-2005, 2012

Total Matches: 65

Combined Days of Tag Title Reigns: 62

Match Suggestions: vs. Booker T-Goldust vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Storm-Regal (Armageddon ’02), vs. Kane vs. Bubba & Spike vs. Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam (TLC- 10/7/02- RAW), vs. Trish-Lita (Armageddon ’03), vs. Booker T- Goldust (No Mercy ’02)

Thoughts: I love both Jericho and Christian, but I think it’s fair to say that ’02-’03 was a time both guys were a bit aimless, with looks and characters that badly needed freshening up. Both were great at playing cheesy comedy heels, but the act was wearing a bit thin. Too bad, because they were a helluva team. I feared their matches with Booker T and Goldust wouldn’t hold up, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well each team player their role. They were also a crucial part of the four-way TLC match on Raw that was named Best Match Ever on Raw for Some Random WWE List of Self-Promotion that I Don’t Remember. That match is clearly not the best match in Raw history, but is clearly a helluva match. I think Jericho and Christian worked quite well together and had good chemistry, even if something always seemed to go wrong (the ropes broke right before the finish in an otherwise good match with BookDust, for example.) The angle where they broke up with the $1 Canadian bet over Trish and Lita is one of my favorite mid-card angles and it helped set Christian on the path to Peep Show stardom and Jericho to become the Best in the World at What He Does. And the match they had against Trish and Lita at Armageddon ’03 is brilliant storytelling to me. From Jericho not fighting Trish but being a dick heel to Lita to both guys working to the women’s strengths to sell the offense that was believable and still show the strength and power difference, everything really worked in that match. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it upon rewatch. Longevity is a bit of a weak spot with this team, and while they were good in the ring and quite entertaining in backstage segments, there’s not a lot of meat on the bone of their tag team work.

Placement Range: Where this team ranks is going to vary greatly depending on what you value. If you place a heavy emphasis on longevity, they’re probably going to suffer. I’d like to have one classic match and Jericho and Christian fell just short of that. But they were a very good team that always worked well together in the ring and were really entertaining outside of the ring. I have them right around the middle of my list and that feels right. Pencil them in somewhere between 45-65.

  The World’s Greatest Tag Team

Years Teamed in WWE: 2002-2004, 2006-2007, 2009

Total Matches: 223

Combined Days of Tag Title Reigns: 180

Match Suggestions: vs. Kidman-Rey Mysterio (Vengeance ’03), vs. Kidman-Rey Mysterio (8/14/03 SD episode #208), vs. Los Guerreros (2/6/03 – SD), vs. Hardy Boyz- (One Night Stand ’07- Ladder Match), vs. Eddie Guerrero-Tajiri (Judgment Day ’03), vs. Los Guerreros (Backlash ’03), w/Kurt Angle vs. Lesnar-Benoit (No Way Out ’03)

Thoughts: Maybe the biggest challenge with this team was not recommending nearly every match I watched. They really were consistently great during their heyday, continuing the momentum of the blue brand tag division after Benoit-Angle and Edge-Mysterio went onto other things. Los Guerreros were still around, however, and their feud with TWGTT resulted in lots of great matches on SD and PPV. Once Chavo got hurt, things got even better (because Chavo sucks) and TWGTT had a banger of a ladder match against Eddie and Tajiri at Judgment Day ’03. Their matches with Kidman and Mysterio at Vengeance ’03 and on SD were also highlights. The reunion after Shelton’s singles run had diminishing returns, but saw some good matches against the Hardys in 2007. I would’ve told you they had more matches together and longer title reigns if you asked me before this project, so longevity hurts them a bit relative to other top-tier teams. They could’ve been a bit more charismatic and shown more personality, but they also could’ve gotten years out of the no-nonsense wrestling machine team they were as Team Angle and later with Heyman.

Placement Range: The longevity hurts them a bit, but they were just so consistently good. I’ve got a bundle of teams slotted in from about 7-15, and I keep going back and forth on the order of those teams. TWGTT is one of those teams, though I expect they’ll wind up toward the end of that range.

  American Alpha

Years Teamed in WWE: 2014-2017

Total Matches: 278

Combined Days of Tag Title Reigns: 152 (NXT and SD)

Match Suggestions: vs. Revival (NXT Takeover Dallas 4/1/16), vs. Revival (NXT Takeover The End), vs. Slater-Rhyno vs. Usos vs. Orton-Harper- (SD 12/27/16), vs. Usos (SD 3/21/17), vs. Revival (7/6/16- NXT- 2/3 falls),

Thoughts: American Alpha had tremendous matches with the Revival, and we’d talk a lot more about those matches if DIY and the Revival didn’t surpass them later in the year. But that shouldn’t diminish the American Alpha-Revival match-ups, which are still better than all but a handful of tag matches in company history. AA also had the most success transitioning from NXT to the main roster. I understand that is like saying they are the tallest midget or the best looking waitress at Denny’s (shout-out to Steve Williams for that quote.) Still, as of this writing they are only the second team to hold tag-team gold in both NXT and on the main roster. In addition to their NXT work, which was tremendous, they had very good matches with the Usos on SmackDown. American Alpha’s in-ring style works quite well, as they’re able to sell and generate sympathy with the crowd, and still have convincing offense. For those that want to be close to the energy and economic opportunity of Suplex City, but want to avoid the crowds and get good value for your home investments and top-notch schools, come to Belly to Belly Park, where Gable and Jordan set up residence. Of course, the team had tons of potential, so naturally the WWE “creative” writer monkeys had to split the team so Jordan could be Kurt Angle’s son. I’m sure this is some kind of rib that makes Vince piss himself with laughter to this day, while making anyone with a brain ask, “Why the fuck did the break up American Alpha for this stupid shit?” Still, the top-notch matches with the Revival and the Usos, success at both NXT and SD and nearly 300 matches with the company make American Alpha a strong candidate for the middle of the list.

Placement Range: American Alpha was one team I didn’t think was getting enough love on their Facebook thread. I get that their main roster run was uninspired, but they did win the SD tag titles and had classic matches in NXT. I saw many voters talking about a place near the bottom of their list, which is better than leaving them off, but I hope they haven’t made a list yet. Because putting a list together, AA is way higher on my list. I can’t find enough teams I think have better resumes, so they’ll be in my top half, somewhere from 30-50, I imagine. Maybe I’m ranking them higher than most, but I just don’t see enough teams that have their number of matches, success and quality of matches to knock them down any lower.

 Thoughts:  When we started this project, I didn’t think Undisputed Era had a prayer of making my list. I enjoyed Fish and O’Reilly with other companies, but they weren’t setting NXT on fire. Then Roderick Strong joined UE and they were off to the races. Strong has been one of my favorite under-the-radar wrestlers for years, so no surprise his pairing with KOR coincided with me really starting to love UE matches. Since that time, not only do I think they make the top 100, I think their case is much stronger than most are giving them credit for, and they may be much higher on my list than I expected. Their trilogy of matches with Mustache Mountain (6/26, 7/11 and Takeover Brooklyn IV) were all-timers. The only set of three matches that good I can think of are the TLC/ ladder matches between the Dudleys, Hardys and Edge-Christian and the New Day and Usos last year. All five of those teams will be in my top 15, so I don’t think it’s a stretch to say the Mustache Mountain-UE matches put UE toward the lower-middle portion of the list. The Lorcan-Burch match at Takeover Chicago was also tremendous, and they have six-man matches and KOR-Fish matches to supplement their case.

Placement Range: This is another team where what you value will dictate their placement on the list. But if you value great matches, then the Undisputed Era should make your list. I would argue their recent run has yielded more great matches than many teams that will make this list produced in years. I think a good comparison to UE are the SD Six teams, which had great matches in a short run. I have UE just below Angle-Benoit and Edge-Mysterio, comfortably in the middle of the list from 40-60.

Thoughts: With more than 700 matches the Hart Foundation has almost unparalleled longevity, lengthy title reigns and is one of the first teams that comes to mind when you think of WWE tag teams. As for their in-ring work…deep breath…I think they are a good, not great team that has many good and few great matches. I think their match with the Brain Busters at SS ’89 is their best, which I have right around 4 stars. I consider that match my “gatekeeper” match to elite level WWE tag team matches, meaning anything I like better makes the cut, anything I think is worse doesn’t and the Harts-Brain Busters is the dividing line. So, I do like that match and I do think the team is good, but I am not nearly as high on their work as many. I don’t like the Demolition SummerSlam matches as much as many do, and I just never felt much connection to the Harts or excitement from their matches. The matches are all technically fine or good, but just lack a little sizzle for me. Their longevity, title reigns and solid work earn them a high spot on my list, but I’m not their biggest fan.

Placement Range: I’ve heard them touted as a number one contender, but to me they don’t have the matches to make that claim. Other than their Brain Busters match I mentioned there’s nothing I’d call better than pretty good. Fans tout their many “classics” but whenever I find the matches they’re referring to, I’m almost always disappointed, and don’t feel like their matches with the British Bulldogs, Killer Bees and others are the classics they’re made out to be. Still, longevity, title reigns, reputation and good matches put them in a tier somewhere between 7-14, so the Hart Foundation is either in my top 10 or just outside it. And it does speak volumes that someone who is not a huge fan has to give credit where it’s due, possibly with a top 10 ranking.

Okay I was in a car accident on May 7th. I was going north towards main street. there was a vehicle in front of me.
