pet peeve but i hate when people say a food isn't "authentic" when what they mean is that it's just not traditional. many foods evolved because of immigrants adapting to new ingredients and, for restaurateurs, the tastes of their local customers. in the case of italian food, tomatoes aren't even native to europe, so can tomato-based dishes really be considered authentic italian... do u see what i mean

Jólabókaflóðið is an Icelandic tradition, wherein people unwrap books on December 24th and then stay up late into the night reading them.

I love dragon!Sylus but I feel like it would have been deeply satisfying for Sylus to become more and more wrong when his hunger starts to take him over.
