Binged all Sunburst fic by ShyOwl during the weekend and I had to paint something to express how much this story meant to me. This painting is a lot rougher than my usual style but I like it. The forest the butterflies and the storm clouds are symbolic in the story. I don´t want to spoil too much but if you like Luke Skywalker I super recommend it.

I tried a new technique with gluing the yarn wrapping and it failed, so he's a bit messier than the ones I'll put in my shop will be, but I still think he's cute enough to share! Still unsure if I want to attempt to add a nose and eyes or he's cuter this way, hmm

“Yeah! Always treat others as sisters and brothers, and they’ll do the same for you,” MK’s grin grows wider again. “It’s something my parents taught me! Life’s a two way street, and you never know what others are going through. So instead of going in with hostility, go in with kindness! You get back what you give, after all.”

Red Son doesn’t say anything for a solid two minutes, staring at MK with a look of both bewilderment and confusion. “How in the heavens, earth, and underworld are you Monkey King’s successor…” He mutters, more to himself than to MK.
