The Dreaded Overlap

So, I'm in both anatomy and physiology currently. Physiology - overall not too difficult but definitely increasing in intensity, since this coming exam is on the endocrine and nervous systems (My pre-vet advisor recommended I do the human physiology course as it's more comprehensive. The anatomy choice was a my weird learning style-thought-process moment). Anatomy - well let's put it this way I did NOT do good on the last exam and need to do good this time. Fingers crossed that since this unit was a LOT of organs it'll go better.

this dog came for foster with a horrifically shattered leg which had gone untreated and i fell in love with her instantly and i fought not to euthanise her for over 2 weeks even though she had heart disease and luxating patellas and aforementioned shattered leg and then they gave her to me on account of being in the vet industry and being able to provide her with everything she needs and i was the happiest person in the world for 48 hours until we went to surgery to fix her leg and she fucking carked it

3.11.23 The semester started at full speed and hasn’t slowed down since! I’ve been taking Statistics and R Studio, Oral Communication, Black Queer Media and Literature, and Organic Chemistry II. Who knew that I would read a poc lesbian vampire historical-fiction novel for an academic class? It’s called the Gilda Stories by Jewelle Gomez and I’m definitely enjoying it so far.

You know, like one Vol'jin wears thats on the banner and tabard to represent the Darkspear. Maybe Rokhan reminiscing when Vol'jin made his own to emphasize the meaning behind them.

who do you think picked the q&a questions? they clearly scrolled so far and didn't choose based on the most likes. one of the questions had less than 10 views which knowing how twitter works was probably at the very bottom of the replies (2.9k replies!!!)

given how personal some of the questions were i would be suprised if it wasn't dan and/or phil themselves. i don't see someone else putting dan on the spot to answer the sister daniel q in a livestream. so my guess would be a mix of both of them. i thought the variety was pretty good!

aaaaaaaaa the show I went to today was so good. like 5 hardcore bands + 1 gothic rock band in a warehouse :-) the goth band was my fav cause that's the best genre, but ofc they were all phenomenal. and most of the bands were from out of state (2 from seattle, 1 from italy, 1 from baltimore). also I just love being surrounded by cool people!!!! and you KNOW I love standing around in a location!

11.12.22 It’s so hard to believe we’re nearing the final stretch! In the past couple of weeks I’ve raised chickens, visited a photography museum, made friends with a MBA student from Japan, and more. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to return to studying organic chemistry…
