Honestly, Danny is having such a good time right now. He gets to travel with Ellie, explore space, just have fun. Plus his secondary protector-instincts are having soothed despite him not technically doing any hero-ing anymore. Really his sister had the right idea when she decided she wanted to become a doctor, this is honestly a blast.
And if someone does end up passing away, well, Ellie is always happy to help soothe their spirit and guide them to the Realms where they can reach their respective afterlife. Or become a ghost.
They are completely oblivious to the fact that there are now legends and entire temples dedicated to them now. Apparently accidental ascension is in fact a thing, as Dan later laughs at them about.

I think it's really funny when fundies are also super into the crunchy lifestyle like bestie your whole system is based on a dude with magical powers born from a virgin you can take a tylenol and stop feeding your infant raw milk now
#I always bring it up#but me @ my aunt that scoffed at me for using my nebulizer while actively having a severe asthma attack#and I mean severe I had to use double my dosage before I could breathe without wheezing and coughing again#I 100% should've been in the hospital#I respect the crunchy life when it's shit like colds and scrapes and aches#absolutely not when it's an asthma attack or PCOS#and doubly not when your CHILD is the sick one#I assume most of the crunchiness comes from the adversion to medicine over prayer#because that implies that there are things that can't be prayed away#And it implies that if you pray and stay healthy that's proof of your worth and praying power#So when someone does get sick and/or die well that's just apart of his plan at least you can say you didn't fight his plan#It's not a preventable illness if you ignore/don't learn how to prevent it /j#every day I wake up and learn another disease raw milk can give you /j#ED tw#And everyday I use to wake up to my stepmom doing a different 'diet'#They 100% encouraged eating disorders both in restricting and binging#Feel bad? Eat food and pray about it! Feel good? Fast and pray about it!#Either way you should feel like you're on the Truman Show with every bite you take#your health becomes a moral issue not a natural one#it becomes a temple and not your vessel#ex christian#religious trauma

I think its still a swing state anyway since we tend to vote republican#So the campaigning here gets brutal#But it’s hard to stay positive when it seems like EVERYONE irl is so fucking pro trump#Im just praying theres a silent majority and that isnt the case#But God I cant fucking do this man#Situations where you have little to no control over the outcome are a fucking nightmare#I can vote so at least that’s something. But thats not enough to ease the anxiety#I need the outcome to be GUARENTEED and thats just not gonna happen#So I just sit here as shit gets worse and it’s harder to keep calm#And I dont have a good track record of having Safe Mental Health while in election times#So this just. Really fucking sucks#I hate when I get like this because it feels like such a major step back#And with an event THIS big its hard to push it all away as irrational and a mental health issue#Because my brain goes ‘Well LOGICALLY you WONT be able to go on so this is a correct way to think’#I hate it so fucking much#If Trump wins Ill pick up smoking or something.
