The Bluest, Blackest Dark Sky Ever
Darkness of the sky pales with the twinkling of millions of stars floating upon the flatness of the South Louisiana Cajun Prairie
A sky never truly seen by many, the blackest, bluest twinkling starry sky, seemingly an oxymoron
It reveals itself to a select few, known only to seekers is its infinite vast blue, black space
The prairie sky is as flat as the land upon which it mirrors, they merge as one
On a clear night lying flat on the ground, one loses any sense of up or down
Sandwiched in between the universal sky and the land are a few knowing, Cajun French seekers who have witnessed the magic of the South Louisiana Prairie Sky
Its darkness and radiant stars are seemingly opposing features, at odds with each other, but like magnetic opposites strongly enhance the other
See, the old adage, opposites attract, is literal here
The darkest sky is blue, black against the light from millions of stars casting their glow
AND the lights of the stars seem suddenly brighter against the very blue, blackness of the universal skies
On those select nights this Poet, Barefoot Cajun Seeker can see infinitely into the galaxies of the universe, miraculously traveling to galaxies seemingly unreachable with the naked eye
