Just the mind speak and interspaced bored times of a strange creature. Photos of things included. Find me on Ravelry for fibre arts things.

“Mary Wallace was the first woman bus driver with the Chicago Transit Authority in 1974. Her job applications were rejected for three years, but her persistence paid off. She was eventually hired under an affirmative action program. Wallace became one of the city’s most popular drivers over her thirty-three year career.”

Twenty Canadian dollars! It is indeed amazing. I highly suggest going and hanging around a fibre arts guild or established stitch and chat if you've the bandwidth and have them nearby, I have gotten freebies like two whole ass drum carders due to just being there and interested (sans belts mind you). If not, having people who like perusing online listings pinging you about things also works.
May luck cross your path with frequency!
New wheel acquired!
No date or maker for this one, but it was 20$ and is happy to be spinning.

To be fair it was originally 80$ but that was being sold as a decorative piece, so when I asked if I could come and see if it still spun it was brought down after chatting and showing it could still spin because it was going to have a life in use. Still, absolute banger of a deal.
