Box modeling is definitely more challenging than it looks. I just completed the Press Start tutorial from CGCookie and it took me longer than expected to follow along. I had to pause and replay some of the instructions, and don't even get me started on Shader nodes - they were so confusing! But in the end, I finally got it done. This exercise taught me a lot, and I'm sure the skills I learned will carry over into my own models. I even picked up some cool new tools like fill and bevel weights. Looking forward to mastering shaders and tackling more challenging projects.

Practice makes perfect? I like to think practice at least helps me improve, but being a perfectionist I have learned that I will never be totally satisfied with something I’ve made. . Several cultures (the Navajo Indians and followers of Islam for example) believe that only the Gods, or Allah can achieve perfection. For a human to try to create perfection in their work would be an offence to their higher powers, so they make deliberate mistakes in their rugs as they weave. . Just finished another polygon runway tutorial and while it was a bit confusing, I pushed through and completed it. I have to admit, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. It was my first time working with Blender particles, so it was a new experience for me. While it was challenging, I'm still proud that I took on something new and expanding my skillset a bit. Looking forward to my next practice and what it will bring.
