congrats Vernestra Rwoh on being the first jedi to meet Marchion Ro and live to tell about it!!
Avar and Elzar meet him shortly afterwards but in much more controlled circumstances, and less directly. Loden, Obratuk and Pra-Tre Veter were not so lucky.

Shadows of Starlight #3
That was really good! I didn't know we got to see Pra-Tre Veter being captured. That was really neat to see! I'm also SO HAPPY We got to see Bell AND Bury get knighted and it was together! That was awesome! This was a terrific issue!

i appreciate how the Starlight Beacon continues its function of temporally orienting me across various stories years after its demise. most of the events you can use to line up the books and comics to build a timeline of all high republic media have some connection to it.
we got the dedication (Keeve got knighted and Sskeer screamed alone in his room. the AToC kiddos made it there in time. Reath watched with his fresh replacement master. Elzar embarrassed himself in public. apparently the YJA kids also attended.)
we got its destruction, depicted in detail in TFS (bottom half) and the THR comic (top half). it was immediately broadcast on Corellia and felt by the Jedi there. the rest of the THRA 2021 gang and Trail of Shadows characters are there rescuing kids/gathering intel on nameless beasties/fucking up Krix.
we got the 1 year anniversary of its destruction (Pra Tre Veter got publicly executed. Zeen reunited with her gf. Ram and the EfV kiddos stirred up shit on Valo.)

ok while i love Echoes of Fear issue 1's art, the very first panel is... bad
Tumblr media
what is going on with Amadeo's face and why does he look like he has a beard. why is Reath making that expression.
why do the kids from Jedi Brave in Every Way plus Indeera and Yarael look like awkwardly placed paper cutouts.
who is the suspiciously Pra-Tre Veter looking person talking with Lahru.
why are Soleil and Ry standing having a chat on a busy walkway (same goes for Indeera tbh).
what's up with the lighting. the perspective. the levels of detail.
