I apologize, I had no idea you were going to get mixed feelings because of my question. I didn't really think about if using only a few words could hurt anyone, I usually just ask "brushes" with a question mark or "what brushes do you use" whenever I see an artist with a pretty style or cool textures. I will be more aware in the future thank you🙏🏼, just know I didn't mean any harm with my ask🤍

I see 😭 Everything's fine, I just felt the single word question sounds kinda off... Anyways, forgive me too, I'm happy to share some real tips!!

The one thing I started using recently is gradients for coloring. Like, you know, how they do in PR5. I feared them for some reason, probably thinking they make too much unnecessary difference in the tones (especially skin ones). This is, ofc, up to style, but I guess it's great to just try using them here and there for a bit more color dynamics!

The other thing is more like a principal for me: if you don't wanna draw something, you don't. Make your flaws your style and nobody would question your work. It might be ehh.. "wrong"? In some way. I mean, as an artist you should always improve your skill, yada yada. However, art has no wrong ways to create it, right? So, as for me, I'm not a fan of drawing clothes, so I just choose to ignore it☃️

Also I have a math exam tomorrow for which I haven't studied yet maybe I should start instead of thinking about shapes and colors—
