And then it was birthday for Nerea and Nahia

Big sis Miretsi dropped by on her day off to congratulate

Nahia's taken to spying on the neighbors, getting on Oorun's nerve.

T'ika comes home from the beach to a somewhat altered house... well, it kept crashing and pink flashing a lot so I moved the family out and back in. It seemed to fix it (for this lot at least -_-) but there better not be anything in the rules against it I've forgotten about. So I had to refurnish it! Hopefully it won't be too noticeable.

Unexpectedly, newly ran-away family kitty Sky comes by. She and T'ika catch up.

In the end, Sky decides that actually this place was maybe not so bad after all

After some soup has been served in the hopes of curing Wakin and Sacha's sniffles, Inti's daughter Poza drops by

As does random neighbor kid Maru. Why not.

This is definitely Inti's last pregnancy, and hopefully the last time in a good while that I'll actually try and fulfill a sim's 'Have 10 children'-want... although I'm pretty sure Inti's friend Luma has that want too :/

It's plague time at the pond dwelling

but it's also strawberry season! Johka doesn't love having to work more to make up for Idja and Ulli being stuck in bed, but their reduced appetites also mean more strawberries for him!

And it's a very good thing, because Johka's a growing boy

He grew up with a tan, and it seems to have mapped weird on his new frame :) that'll fade but hey, maybe he has late onset vitiligo, who's to say

His new haircut shows off his elf ears because YAAASS

The next day, at the beach

Oh no, Johka has an eye for the girl his brother has an ever fonder eye for! But so far she seems less than impressed

Ditto with Didan for Inti. Might be that his wife was on the lot at the time, he's agreed to stupider things before, but yeah, what were you thinking Inti? And just when things are almost working out with your ex as well. Good thing Entzu wasn't here to see this foolishness

Elsewhere, both Doaivu and Ausarta get fit by splashing around in various bodies of water

On the way home, Johka meets another girl who is also super cute

Aunt Luma visits the Bigarrena's along with Sanma who has the worst luck with rock-papyrus-sharpened shard of flint

and Otis grows into a senior dog. Looking right dapper good sir!

I missed it but I think Nerea just punched her baby brother really hard. You're lucky we're not in the Victorian stage Nerea or you'd be sent away or something

Miretsi on the other hand plays really nice with her little sister Poza. One of them had a want for a swing around but I forget which one

Chatting over slop dinner about thing that don't exist yet

Brief beach trip that yielded only one screenshot because I'm bad at this lol

My main objective with these is to just have the neighborhood kids meet each other for easier drama-weaving later tbh

Meanwhile I try to learn some sun&moon sets Entzu does some resource extraction labor in preparation for needing to know a trade by next challenge stage. I think he's grinding up some sulphur here?

These 3 dogs are the best dogs. The Bigarrenas have raised them well

Aitor and Moemoea should be heading home by now, but paused on their way out to autonomously catch the Big Feelings. Or Moemoea does at least, Aitor is somewhat distracted by her stank

Bigarrenas now, where lil' guy Izar is sad. Actually both the toddlers are in aspiration failure because their parents divorced last round, so that's fun

One thing Izar does have going for him rn is wants. Specifically, learning nursery rhymes wants. And fortunately big sis Miretsi agreed to help make that happen

Somewhat less musically inclined, Poza gets back in the green by earning a counting-stones skill point, discovering a passion in life along the way

Nahia and Entzule discuss things over some soup. I think Entzu is opening up to the idea of meeting someone new. Not knowing how exactly to feel about that, Nahia just kinda nods

Later, Nahia runs into her mom, who is hanging out just outside the house for some reason.

next day,

Para is visiting, as is the wolf who's taken a liking to tormenting her lately. She gives her a good telling off this time. Also uncle Indartsu drops by, and Maggie befriends this stray doggie called Poppo.

And Inti is here, seeing one of her littlest ones.

There's a lot to miss here. Most of her kids, watching them grow..

this episode on Qallariq/Iskay household, the toddlers are getting musical

T'ika's taking responsibility for the crops this growing season, in part to get away from the 17 4 screaming babies

But what's this? Some of the babies are growing just like those crops

Wakin had a more exciting toddlerhood than Sacha did, not that you'd known from my screenshotting

Don't ask about the houses behind Wakin here. That's spoilers.

At the beach, Sacha makes heaps of friends

But Wakin does okay in that department too. Poza's actually his half-sister as well, isn't that neat

Inti and Entzu have autonomously been trying for moar babies since the birth of the youngests because of course they have, but no luck yet

Entzu, like me, is devastated

Meanwhile Indartsu and Suyana continue to make me mad. Arvi disapproves too but idk who he thinks he is to be judging.

Someone has to draw a line somewhere. We've seen a couple sims forgiving their cheating spouses and staying together, but I don't need that to become the norm, and I think this is a hard line for Entzu.

Entzu: How could you, Inti? We made a vow to be true to each other! You've hurt me terribly and I can't have my children thinking this is an okay way to treat their spouses - or something they should put up with from anyone. We're over!

Inti: Over?? Entzu! We were just.. flirting..

As angry and hurt as Entzu is, he can't help himself from checking Inti out until she runs off lot

The toddlers slept through the breakup, but the older kids are crushed by the news.

Entzu tries to comfort Nahia...

Even the next morning is hard. Entzu's not used to waking up alone...

Although he's not really all alone I guess. Duty calls!

moar Bigarrena household, where visiting uncle Indartsu just can't figure out what to do with the loud smelly baby.

What's that about? Visitors will autonomously take very full and happy babies to the fridge to stuff not-on-theme bottles into them non stop, but can't even think to put the blighter down or hand them to another adult when they get stinky.

Anyway

It's birthday! Nerea and Nahia are about to leave toddlerdom behind

Yay! Finally I can like these two.

And papa Entzu can take them to the beach along with big sis Miretsi.

They were less than lucky with the weather, but they were still able to enjoy the view, get tormented by a crab, and meet some fellow neighborhood kiddos

:3 i can't explain how much i like it when the kids meet each other and make friends you'll just have to bear with me

I also like that these 5 can have meals together as a family now, couldn't do that when Nahia and Nerea were toddlers could we, what are toddlers even good for amirite
