After rambling about system doubts and frustrations last night, I had a dream about North and Yong Soo. They were in Korea, and getting on some special trains with cars they could stretch out in as noodle dragons. The cars had no seats, and were almost all window, so people could see them as the trains went by. Yong Soo's train stopped near where a little boy and his father were standing and waving, making silly dragon-grins and waving back. Wholesome.
It's strange to be, well, me, and look at them after all the years they spent as essentially the hosts. From 2009 to at least 2016, and then Ichigo asserted himself again more strongly, but it was almost a 50/50 share even after that. Yong Soo has so much Lore that I can't help but get mired in. There's certain parts of this city that feel like his territory specifically, because he spent so much time there. If I go downtown I almost expect to see him there in the flesh!
Strange to be me, with barely any connection to what they ... represent? I don't even feel like a Korean person, as if they're the ones who hold onto all of that. Biologically that makes no sense, and we're all in the same boat here lol, but it's like they compartmentalized our racial identity along with certain personality factors. Korea as a country, and Korean as an identity, don't mean much to me (even if they should). But they mean the world to those two, and sometimes I just get blindsided with Feelings.
Doesn't help that we have terminal white boy passing syndrome, lol. I'm way too preoccupied with the body and what it must "say" about me. I know intellectually that it's just a body and we are driving it, but I keep taking it to heart and feeling out of place. It's goofy though; I'm not this body, in the same way I'm not the bus while I'm riding it.
Yong Soo used to dye our hair black and I completely understand, tbh. Funny yet sad that when he did that, all the sudden people could see our Asian features better, it all just made more sense visually I guess. Phenotypes are annoying.
I'm gonna go play more Powerwash Simulator. It's slow at work today. :|d

Hi I'm asking about ur WIP specifically sacred ground bc I'm v curious~
HII Sacred Ground is a good omens fic i started writing a while after s2 dropped! It's a 5+1 about aziraphale's bookshop being a shelter to others (and to aziraphale)
Here's a couple snippets!
"I'm afraid we were just about to close," he said, not even lifting his gaze from the page. "Oh, I'm so sorry, it's just that it's raining cats and dogs out there and I left my umbrella at home. Could I just stay here for a bit until the weather clears up? I promise I won't be a bother." "Oh!" The man looked with surprise out the windows, past which mother nature was giving the streets of London Soho a well-needed powerwash. "Good Lord, I hadn't even paid notice. Of course, of course– stay as long as you need." "Oh, thank you so much, really." "Please, it's no problem. Er–" He looked around anxiously before reaching under his desk and pulling out a fluffy, spotless white towel. "Here you go," he said, approaching Dinah. "Do dry yourself off, dear. Dreadful weather out there." "Thank you so much," she repeated, and took the towel from the man. It was extremely soft when she grabbed it; it might as well have been brand new. What a well prepared shop, she thought, keeping a towel near the door just for occasions like these. She ought to start doing the same. "I hope I didn't catch a cold out there."
The man gave her a look-over. "No, no colds at all," he spoke, and so assertively that Dinah felt inclined to believe him.
It is well known that angels love by nature. They hold a sort of blanket love over all living beings, from the tiniest and most remote unicellular bacteria to the oldest spruce tree in a mountaintop in Sweden. Some people — "people" being one particularly sophistic demon and a bunch more who plagiarized him afterwards — have argued that this sort of impersonal love is disingenuous; since, if you love exactly everything exactly equally, wouldn't that be the same as not loving at all? Angels have said in return that it's actually not like that at all, and refused to give further statement. Despite this, most angels advise against becoming personally attached to particular living beings, given their propensity towards dying. Then, of course, most angels don't have a problem with this to begin with. They all spend most of their time up in Heaven, only dropping by Earth for occasional check-ins or special events, such as the birth of Christ or the final showing of The Sound of Music. As Heaven's emissary on Earth and therefore the one most jeopardized by this problem, Aziraphale had to pay special attention to said bit of advice, and tried his best to follow it to the letter. Unfortunately, his best didn't always work out.
The cat arrived on a foggy morning in 1810.
"Aziraphale, if you don't tell me what's going on, I swear to Someone I'm parking the Bentley right through your front door."
"There's no need for such things," Aziraphale protested.
"Then be honest with me. Thou shalt not lie, and stuff. Let me come over." It was the minute before dawn on a Sunday morning, and the streets were still fairly quiet, devoid of the typical hustle and bustle of day-to-day London. If it hadn't been for this uncharacteristic silence, Aziraphale wouldn't have noticed the faint rumbling of the motor in the background of the call. "I don't seem to have much of a say, do I?"
#my posts#as always i bit off more than i could chew with this one#so i ended up abandoning it#i'll pick it up though. maybe make it shorter#blue words

Always Not Far Behind
Ship: Anton Chigurh x Salem Nickle Newman
Word Count: 1249
Summary: Salem has been sentenced to prison time, but before he even gets to his cell, Anton appears to save the day. CWs for criminal activity, cops, murder.
Tag List: @futurewife @canongf
Sweat trickled down Salem’s back as he stood outside of a county police station, waiting for a bus as the sun beat down on his fair skin, an officer on either side of him and his wrists cuffed together behind him.
“Sheriff’s gonna be tickled pink that we finally caught that hitman’s accomplice.” One sneered around a toothpick. Salem spat on the orange dirt at his feet, turning it brown.
“You boys’ve got no idea of the Hell that’s coming your way,” they countered.
“Let him come. Kill two birds with one stone, usin’ you as bait.”
As Salem glared, a grey bus pulled up to the curb and they were forced onto it, facing a handful of other criminals and more cops. They heavily took up one of the empty seats and turned their head toward the dusty, tinted window as the bus took off. Salem had never been to a real prison before, though he could count on his fingers the nights he had spent in holding cells throughout his time as a wanted criminal. It was never a long time behind bars when Anton was nearby, but this was different. The authorities had caught Salem off his guard, in the few seconds where he and Anton were separated on the road, and sealed his fate in less than three days.
He was surprisingly going to a men’s prison, but in his mind he supposed the authorities thought that was a suitable punishment for his misdeeds, even if they didn’t really think of him as a man at all. Still, he believed Anton would find him. Still, he believed a violent storm was brewing on the horizon. The mental image of cops falling like dominos made Salem smirk to himself, only to earn a firm strike on the back of the head.
“Think you’re clever, quit your smilin’. Ain’t nothin’ good waitin’ for you at the end of this ride.”
Without Anton to remind him to bite his tongue at the best of times, Salem turned and retorted with a sneer. “Y’all can beat me ‘til my teeth fall out and my skin’s purple, I’ll still keep laughing in your face, Officer Pigdick.”
“Why I oughta--”
“Don’t waste your energy,” his accomplice butt in. “That’s what he wants, after all.”
There was a beat of tense silence before Salem was smacked again, making him wince. Then he was ultimately left alone. The sun was creeping toward the horizon by the time the bus reached the penitentiary, hissing to a stop. Slowly, it unloaded, and the small band of criminals lined up to enter the large, white brick building, surrounded by a tall, barbed-wire fence. While the building itself looked relatively clean from the outside, the fence was rusting and seemed to creak, despite a lack of wind.
“This a new one?” Salem asked the man in front of him in line, eying the building. He didn’t get a response, so he kept talking. “Looks like they damn near powerwashed the thing. Who are they trying to upkeep appearances for, us?? Bet it’s not that nice on the inside.”
“Shut up.” The fellow prisoner finally snapped.
“Gee, didn’t know cleaning was such a touchy subject for ya, guy.”
The man glared over his shoulder while Salem stood his ground.
“Who do you think you are?”
Salem smiled brightly. “I’m the number one business partner of Texas’ most-wanted hitman. Nothin’ can touch me,” he laughed lightly, squeezing his shoulders up to his ears in a cutesy manner.
“And where might this hitman be?”
Their eyelids flickered slightly, faltering as their shoulders came back down. “I don’t know, truth be told. But he’s gonna find me. Just wait and see.”
“So he deserted you, then.”
Colour rose in Salem’s cheeks. “No! Never. We got separated, is all. I went into a convenience store and he went across the street to look at guns... just my dumb luck that I’d bump into a damn uniformed sausage while I was there. ‘Cept he wasn’t in uniform, he was off duty, but he knocked me out cold and next thing I knew I was in the back of a wagon.”
“How far behind do you think he is?”
They chewed their lip for a moment before their brow furrowed. “I’m tired of talkin’ to you, if I weren’t cuffed up I’d swing you one right now. Why the hell’s this line takin’ so long?”
Just as it was uttered, the line began to shuffle forward as the prisoners entered the building. As Salem crossed the threshold, he felt an odd sensation on the back of his neck, as if a feather or a breeze had briefly whipped by his skin. He strode forward but paused to glance over his shoulder, eyes widening as the door was suddenly opening at a higher speed than expected. In a split second, Salem forced himself against the wall to avoid whatever was barreling his way. He recognized the blurry black and brown mass immediately as near-silent bullets whizzed across the room, hitting prisoners and police officers indiscriminately.
When things settled back into focus, Anton was staring intensely at Salem, his weapon slung over his shoulders as if it had never been in his deadly hands in the first place. Just as suddenly as everything had happened, Anton’s lips crashed upon Salem’s, a large, warm hand cupping their round cheek. It was sweet but firm, laced with the thousand “I missed you”s that he couldn’t put into words.
“You mind gettin’ me out of these cuffs so I can greet you properly?” Salem asked in a light and quiet tone as Anton’s full lips inched toward the corner of his mouth. The hitman nodded, fully pulling away as Salem turned around. It took no effort for Anton to snap the cuffs in half, releasing Salem from their grip. They flexed their hands and rolled their shoulders, rejoicing in the returned freedom before turning around and leaping into their partner’s arms, returning the initial kiss with distinct vigour. He held them in a close, almost suffocating embrace as lips and tongues and teeth were reunited under the hazy glow of fluorescent lights. The fusion was only interrupted by a siren, prompting the two to book it for Anton’s newest vehicle.
“Would you...?” Anton began in that molasses-deep voice of his, but Salem had already taken the shotgun off of his hands, rolled down the window, and began aiming at the guard towers.
“Right behind ya, honey.~”
A tight squeeze on Salem’s knee- Lord, I love you, boy -and the two were off like a flash as Anton backed toward the road, with Salem taking care of anyone who bothered to follow.
“Don’t scare me like this ever again,” Anton rumbled hours later, when the oppressive sun had finally disappeared, encapsulating the desert in cool, velvety darkness once more.
“It wasn’t my fault!” Salem scoffed as he applied chapstick in the side mirror, but his tone held no anger. “Like I was tellin’ the guy in front of me, just dumb luck.”
Anton grabbed his free hand. “It was too close.”
“Then we’ll lay low for a while. We’ve got cash.” A pause. “If anything I might even say you were worried about me.”
Without another word, Anton took their chin in his fingers and brought their face toward his, kissing them roughly and making them titter at the action. “Thanks for savin’ me, Foghorn.~ You’re my he-ro, hehehe.”

Top 5 Reasons to Hire a Professional for Your House Powerwashing Needs
House power washing, when done correctly, can rejuvenate the appearance of your home, remove built-up dirt and grime, and contribute to its overall maintenance. While some homeowners may consider taking on power washing as a DIY project, there are compelling reasons to hire a professional for your house power washing needs.
Here are the top five reasons:
Expertise and Experience: Connecting with the professionals offering the service of house powerwashing near me brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table. Trained technicians understand the intricacies of different surfaces, the appropriate pressure settings, and the right cleaning solutions for various materials. Their experience allows them to efficiently and effectively clean your home without causing damage. DIY attempts may lead to unintended consequences, such as damage to siding, paint, or delicate landscaping.
Proper Equipment and Techniques: Power washing requires specialized equipment with adjustable pressure settings to suit different surfaces. Professionals invest in high-quality equipment that is capable of delivering the right pressure for optimal cleaning without causing harm. They are also familiar with various power washing techniques to address specific issues, such as removing mold, mildew, or stains. Using the wrong equipment or techniques can result in uneven cleaning, streaks, or damage to your property.
Safety First: Power washing can involve working at heights or using ladders to reach certain areas of your home. Professionals are trained in safety protocols and have the necessary equipment to perform the job securely. Safety is a primary concern, and professionals take precautions to protect themselves, your property, and anyone nearby. Attempting power washing without the proper safety measures can lead to accidents, injuries, or damage to your home.
Time and Convenience: Power washing your entire house is a time-consuming task, especially if you lack experience or the right equipment. Professionals can complete the job efficiently, allowing you to focus on other aspects of homeownership or enjoy your free time. Hiring a professional not only saves you time but also eliminates the hassle of learning the ins and outs of power washing and dealing with potential issues that may arise during the process.
Preserving Landscaping and Surroundings: Professional power washing includes considerations for the landscaping and surroundings of your home. The technicians take measures to protect delicate plants, flowers, and other landscaping elements from the impact of high-pressure water. They also know which cleaning solutions are safe for the environment and can prevent harm to your lawn or garden. DIY power washing may inadvertently damage or displace landscaping elements, leading to additional expenses for repairs or replacements.
In addition to these top five reasons, hiring a professional for your house power washing needs offers the added benefit of a thorough and even clean. Professionals can address specific issues, such as stubborn stains or deeply embedded dirt, with precision. Their attention to detail ensures that all areas of your home receive the proper treatment, leaving it looking refreshed and well-maintained.
Before hiring a power washing professional, it's essential to research and choose a reputable company with positive reviews and a track record of delivering high-quality service. Requesting quotes from multiple companies can also help you find a service that fits your budget while providing the expertise needed for your specific power washing requirements.
In conclusion, while DIY projects can be satisfying, house power washing is best left to the professionals. Their expertise, proper equipment, commitment to safety, time efficiency, and consideration for your property's surroundings make them the ideal choice for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of your home. Hiring a professional ensures that the power washing process is executed seamlessly, leaving your home looking its best without the potential pitfalls of a DIY approach.

So bad news: I was violently ill last night, threw up all over the floor and my clothes, and had to take money for laundry ($11.25 for two loads of powerwash washing and drying), cold water from the vending machine plus drinks and a bag of chips for my mom and daughter (it runs on credit and holds $5 even if the drink/food is $2.50 to make sure you have enough, so that was $25 I'm waiting to get the difference back on), and I spent $10 on anti-diarrhea caplets and pain pills at Ralph's this morning.
So I have $24 to put towards gas and $25 to put towards the room at the moment. I still need to buy a roll of paper towels (I ran out of those before I had to use our dirty bathing towels) and maybe anti-nausea meds too, because my mom wasn't feeling all that great this morning before she went back to sleep.
I'm hoping it was just some of the food we had in the cooler not agreeing with me, but we ate all of it/threw out what had really gone bad, so fingers crossed I don't get ill again later. But yeah. That was a huge blow to my finances, and mostly I'm posting it to be fully transparent with everyone. Being homeless and living in a motel, having something like this happen just costs so much more to deal with.
I may have to buy more laundry pods and other laundry stuff in the near future, but I may also put one of the big Tide ones on the wishlist if anyone would be willing to get them for me. (I have enough left to do 2 - 3 loads, depending on where I do it and what size machine I use.
Please Help A Mentally Ill, Mostly Queer Homeless Family Stay Housed This Holiday Season?
PAYPAL | AMAZON WISHLIST | KOFI | GOFUNDME
VENMO: @penaltywaltz | CASHAPP: $afteriwake23 | ZELLE: DM me for email address
01/04/24 - Updated Post!
NEW GOAL!
$223/$1750
(Original goal not met, now edited for additional room help and other things needed)
If I can get the entire amount still needed, I can do the following:
Get the hotel room for over a week, which will let us come and go without worrying about having to spend all day trying to raise money and we can run important errands next week
Close three open collection accounts my mom has by paying them off in full via her debt consolidation company, and pay off two new payday loans we've had to take out
Pay off her PayPal debt so that PayPal will reopen her account
Cover my mother's current $282 overdraft
Get food after the 10th, because I fully expect both myself and my mom to be out of food stamps by then
Most of this will be a huge help in getting us to be able to qualify for housing that requires credit checks, and helping Lena get her health stuff sorted and figure out if she has any other debilitating illnesses will help give her disability appeal more strength, which will help her get an income to support herself (we need to spend a day reorganizing the car to get room for Lena and my mother and I so we can go to appointments). So please reblog this version if you can, and help with money or wishlist items if you can (the restaurant gift cards go a long way, plus I desperately need the clothing for me because I've lost 40 pounds this last year and most of my stuff is now too big). Thank you for reading this, and I hope you have an awesome day!

How to Choose the Right Powerwashing Company
There are some important factors that you should take into account when choosing a powerwashing company for your private or commercial needs. Getting the suitable organization will guarantee that you get a solid and great help at cutthroat expense. Force washing is a significant strategy for doing cleaning measures both of homegrown and business applications. For example, in the event that you are in a work space with a ton of oil buildup, at that point washing can be critical.
It is important to note that finding an affordable and reliable powerwashing company near me is not an easy task. This is so on the grounds that numerous organizations have marked themselves as the best in the business and along these lines representing an extraordinary test in deciding an organization that is offering quality administrations. There are a few organizations out there. There are likewise various sources from where you can get such organizations. The web can be an extraordinary source to discover your preferred project worker or organization. You can without much of a stretch discover an organization at your area which you were ignorant of at your region.
Subsequent to getting the different organizations at your territory, it is significant that you demand their appraisals for your venture. Note that a few organizations will give free gauges. It is subsequently significant that you demand the evaluations from various organizations for correlation. This is perhaps the most ideal methods of tracking down a reasonable expense. Your spending plan is very significant and in this manner you should work as per it.
Another important aspect you should take into account is the insurance and the licensing of the power washing service. Permitting is essential for the public authority and enactment. Note that any organization that is to complete force washing in your bequest ought to be authorized and enrolled by the necessary bodies. You ought to never be reluctant to ask about their current authorizing, accreditation, kind of protection and some other capability they have.
Communication is very important when it comes to selecting power washing company for your domestic and commercial needs. In the event that in the primary case, the organization is hesitant to accept your calls or even react to the messages, this is an indication of how problematic they are. It is feasible to pay them ahead of time and neglect to finish your undertaking. It is vital to contact the organization you are locked in with and ask a few subtleties from them prior to contracting them.

GOTY 2021: Honorable Mentions
POWERWASH SIMULATOR
This year I got really curious about simulation games. Growing up, I shared playtime with my sister over things adjacently similar like The Sims and classic management sims such as Roller Coaster Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon. Just about everyone can find the fun in games like those, but sims like Euro Truck Simulator and Farm Simulator? I think they take a certain kind of appreciation; an attention to detail that largely speaks to people who already get it, or have the urge to explore something unfamiliar on familiar ground.
Thankfully, for those like me that are afraid of the deep end, there’s been a recent trend of oddly specific simulator games. These sims don’t require a companion manual or serious tech like a racing wheel. Sims like PowerWash Simulator may not even teach you very much, but I’ve learned it’s an appreciation for the mundane that’s being tapped into. I can’t tell you why I enjoy power washing someone’s rusted-over car or polishing a driveway. It’s just something you feel while playing a sim like this one.
It wouldn’t be worth mentioning if the game itself wasn’t well designed for what it wants to accomplish, and even in its Early Access state, there’s a great foundation here, and developer FuturLab continues to update it on a frequent basis. If you fancy a need for something urgency-free, the continuous developments within PowerWash’s Career and Challenge modes will help you discover what the genre is all about.
TONY HAWK’S AMERICAN SKATELAND
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2’s surprise release on Nintendo Switch offered fans a modern Tony Hawk game on handheld, but there’s a long history of this franchise going portable. From Sony’s PSP to, surprisingly, Nintendo’s GameBoy Advance. But nestled in between those was Vicarious Vision’s excellent Nintendo DS entry, Tony Hawk’s American Skateland, a sort-of demake of the similar Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland released on console.
This was one of the first games I completed this year kept me glued to my DS from beginning to end. It was praised at the time for being more than just an experimental port; everything from the art style to the controls takes advantage of the hardware it’s on while also managing to deliver an authentic Tony Hawk experience. The classic tricks, the authentic soundtrack, the free-roam level design, the story mode packed with creative missions, and the ability to create your own skater. Vicarious Visions left nothing behind.
If you find yourself feeling nostalgic about the DS, I highly recommend making time for this gem.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES
Little Nightmares was one of a handful of brief games that took only a couple of days to blast through, making each one a nice reset between those games demanding more hours as you’re quickly losing daylight. Of them all, I especially liked this twisted, creepy journey wrapped in a puzzle-platformer with an outcome that definitely stuck with me for more than a day or two.
It’s a well-directed story that tasks you as a small child, named Six, to escape The Maw with nothing to defend herself or even a clue of why she’s there. The narrative itself remains silent throughout the game, forcing you to decipher the meaning through dread of the surroundings and the unimaginable things living there. The first encounter of Little Nightmares’ ghoulish creatures was enough to give me pause, and not something I’ve felt outside of something like Silent Hill or Resident Evil. It isn’t especially difficult in terms of gameplay. There are no real game overs and the puzzles won’t leave you scratching your head. Solutions are largely driven by outwitting your captors, which can lead to several failures until that “ah-ha” moment arrives. It was sometimes repetitive, but there are several tense scenes, and one in particular near the finale that had absolutely stellar camera work.
You’ll spend far more time with other games, but Little Nightmares, and other games like it, know we’re busy, and can still succeed to entertain with less.
MARIO GOLF: SUPER RUSH
It hasn’t been easy to be a Mario Sports fan in recent years.
While Mario Kart continued as strong as ever, practically eclipsing all other recreational activities in the Mushroom Kingdom, games like Super Mario Strikers, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, and Mario Power Tennis were yet to be replicated as Nintendo entered the HD era. Glimpses of a revival often turned out to be more experimental and disappointingly safe, such as the Wii U’s Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash.
Are the glory days back with Mario Golf: Super Rush? That remains to be seen, but it’s a promising step in the right direction. If nothing else, the opening cinematic was a brilliant nod to the fans of Camelot’s chaotic shorts featuring Wario and Waluigi hijinks. The core gameplay is solid, though, and actually made a better golfer—only virtually, but still. The story mode itself was far more in depth that I expected and had enough surprises for a fun distraction. Recent updates have rounded the package out to a respectable degree, as well.
Super Rush didn’t meet fans’ expectations unanimously, and those reasons aren’t without merit. But in many ways Super Rush felt like it was at least acknowledging the past games unwillingness to go beyond good enough. And I think it rose above that in places. Let’s hope someone at Nintendo keeps the fire burning, meanwhile.
WARIOWARE: GET IT TOGETHER!
Among the numerous franchises within the magical Nintendo well, WarioWare seems to spring up when we need it most. After a hiatus that saw a couple of spinoffs in the form of Wii U’s Game and Wario and 3DS’s WarioWare Gold, the next evolution in microgames appeared this year on Switch with WarioWare: Get it Together! The initial trailer was both promising and exciting—it certainly looked like WarioWare.
But the latest twist was putting us in direct control of Wario and his Diamond City cohorts. I got the impression after release that not everyone was sold on this new idea, but it ended up being one of my favorite features. What makes WarioWare unique is that repetition is a feature—not a detraction. Each character controls in a unique way, meaning your perspective within every microgame changes slightly upon revisiting them. Flipping light switches is easy when you can move in any direction. Now try doing it when you can’t move. How does jumping over and over again sound?
I’d argue it was a smart design choice given that the WarioWare formula has seen many iterations now, and was in need of a strong comeback. I’m not sure where Nintendo will go forward with WarioWare in the future, but Get it Together! was a neat surprise this year, and a reassurance that innovation is alive and well in Diamond City.

I had a Minecraft World.
I had an island, off the coast of a jungle biome. Terraforming the top layer of it to make it grassy was my first terraforming project. I built a house on bamboo stilts, with fences as the walls and a storage area on the roof. It had a bell, and a bed for me and my friend who hadn't built a house yet. Pillager flags hung from the outside of my house, as a tally for how many groups I had killed.
On the island itself, was a bulletin board for when I had more people over to join. It would be a place for people to advertise when they needed help with something. There was a book outlining how contracts were made for employment, how housing would be handled, and how the trading post worked.
On the island next to it, was a farm. It started small, with plants on the far end of it near water: Bamboo, sugarcane, wheat, potatoes, carrots, watermelon, pumpkin, and beetroot. Even trees and flowers. Then I got cows and sheep and chicken, and we had meat. There was a dock, too, for visitors and fishers and travelers to put their boats or look out over the ocean.
From my house island to the mainland was a bridge, and from the mainland to another island was another bridge. That island was my quarry, where I gathered ground resources. I had terraformed using it's dirt.
Off the farm island, artificial islands were built.
I remember the trading post came first. Half of what came from the farm and quarry, went to the trading post. The other half went to whoever produced it. If it was uneven, they could choose. The trading post was circular, and asymmetrical because I can't build. It had a granite slab roof and jungle walls, with a diorite floor. There was a table in front of all the chests, which had signs denoting their contents. The food chests were always full. Built into that table was a trade chest, where trades would have taken place. There was also a donation chest.
There was a Nether Portal island, too. It looked nice enough, with glowstone around the portal. Branching off of that was the Enchantment Room island. The walls were bookshelves, but I don't think I ever got enough.
There used to be an XP grinder island, but I didn't know how to make one. It was torn down, and in it's place was a print shop. There was an anvil there, as well as a loom and chests holding paper, sugarcane, ink, feathers, leather, and wool. There was another chest, holding the original newspaper book copies. There was a side door, leading to a minecart chest where newspaper copies were shipped to the newsstand island. Papers were an iron apiece. Nobody ever bought a paper, and I was the only writer. There were articles on big events, articles on bad things that happened (such as pillagers and hostile mobs spawning) and articles detailing how much stuff was pulled in from the farm and quarry. There were also work ads.
We were building a clock tower. It was blackstone and gold, with 8 clocks and four sides. The bottom of the island had moss.
I was planning to build houses, apartments, empty islands for more stuff. A mail system would have been built, more of my friends invited.
We had a flag. We were going to go fight my brother, who had basically walked into a savanna village, stole their food and a house, and declared himself mayor before all his villagers mysteriously disappeared (it was actually a mysterious disappearance).
We were Pernos: For Us in Catalan, By Us in Latin, and Bolt in Spanish (according to Google Translate).
We were two people on an artificial island chain, building until somebody else could come along.
And then the world ended when my teacher told me to powerwash my chromebook, and the files were lost.

I just can't get rid of the image of Leonard Bones McCoy sitting on the porch of a beach house he rented during shore leave. He's got a pink button down Tommy Bahama shirt, some board shorts, he's rocking the birkenstocks, aviators and a straw hat.
He attached the powerwasher to the hose and if any one from The Enterprise goes near him he shoots them down with a blast of water.
"Don't bother me I am on vacation."
If Jim comes by he throws the entire mason jar of sweet tea he's brewing at his direction.

Expertise and Experience: Connecting with the professionals offering service of house powerwashing near me brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table.
Hiring a professional ensures that the power washing process is executed seamlessly, leaving your home looking its best without the potential pitfalls of a DIY approach.

only managed to save a hundred dollars in january. While thats not too bad considering my goal was to save 200 a month, it’s very bad considering i made over a grand in january between a big paycheck from work (i got a months backpay from forgetting to file timesheets), powerwashing mine and my neighbors driveways, and selling a bunch of stuff on ebay. Granted, I had some atypical expenses this month between applying for grad school and paying off the last of my fees for this semester, but i feel like that gets canceled out by the fact that I spent the vast majority of the month living at home! I essentially had 3 weeks of no expenses and still managed to blow through most of my cash near the end of the month.
tracking my spending (and just paying attention to what I’ve been doing lol), the biggest expense is definitely food. Now I’m able to buy groceries and make meals that are all cheap in the aggregate. The problem is the discipline of sticking to that menu. Towards the end of last semester I was coked out on stress, so i got into this bad habit of putting 0 effort into taking care of myself. I’d eat out basically every night if not every meal, and make nightly trips to the bodega to load up on snacks. Those habits unfortunately have carried over to this semester. Even though I’m nowhere near as stressed as I was, I’m still eating out way too often and making regular trips to the bodega.
I think this boils down to two major problems: lack of upfront work, and my sugar addiction.
Now the core of my prep for my meals this week was good, i made a big easy crock pot dish, and had enough oatmeal and frozen food meals to get me through the week. But I didn’t end up liking my crock pot meal very much (chicken marsala, I just really hate the taste of wine in any form it seems). I also didn’t store it in individual serving containers, I just did the lazy thing and threw the pot in the fridge. This led to a compounding effect where the effort of heating up the meal was too much, so I’d either have a frozen meal for dinner or (more often) eat out. For some reason I’ve had a real problem getting some self-care chores done this week, so it’s just been miserable keeping myself fed without going out. I normally just throw in the towel. I think making a far safer crock pot meal (chicken parmesean), and making sure I get it into the meal containers will do a lot to minimize that.
As for my sugar addiction, I’m gonna try to find a few good desserts I can make to satiate the sweet tooth. I already have what i need to make protein ice cream, but I can only eat that so many times. I’ve seen some good recipe for blueberry protein muffins, so i think I’ll make 6 of those and then find a good 6 serving brownie recipie and ahve 6 of those, and let those be my sugar fix for the week.
As for the sheer desire to leave this little room and talk to another human being, hopefully the resurrection of my gym habit and a daily walk will be sufficient. Here’s hoping
