I hate doing this but NC was hit by Helene harder than most of us thought it would be.

My household of 5 has been without working water and power for 3 days (9/29/2024 as I post this) so we've lost just about everything in fridge and freezers and our estimated time to get power back is around a week or 2 (as of 9/27/2024).

We've had to buy a grill so we could have a way to heat water and canned soups, a cooler, and several lights and batteries and now we're very low on money for bills and food once we do get power back.

My work has no power either so my next check is gonna be bad.

If anyone could spare a little money it'd help a lot.

But please, if you're in rough shape too, just reblog to spread word, I wouldn't feel right taking money from others that are also in need in this time as well...
