long-story short, Sun doesn’t believe he has emotions since he is a robot 😔

of course, he sees Moon and Eclipse emote all the time. he usually attributes it to Moon being a fool (believing he is something he's not) and Eclipse being manipulative (given that he was originally built for the theater)

but there is a part of him that wonders if he is missing something—he just doesn’t understand what that is

Note: i should also mention, his voice is almost completely monotone. the closet idea of a voice claim for this Sun is Greg Chun's voice for Lukas from Fire Emblem Echoes—fairly even in tone, somewhat soft

the way several characters have told ed and stede to "shut up" in some way, shape, or form. but when they're both talking to each other, they absolutely cling to every single word. they can't get enough of each other's stories, or ramblings, or little recounts of their days.

She dared not step too close to her sister anymore since she would only be turned to ash and the whole affair was so tiring. But it wasn't a big deal anymore, she wanted to be alone when she ate herself alive because what else could she possibly do? The insignificant creature she existed as was being consumed and reformed like clay into something new, a crude imitation of her former self, and nopony says anything but it's not like they're scared to it's just because they think it's funny that little sisters are worth even less than invisible gods. And every night she could feel fangs boring holes through her head and could hardly think through the moments of blinding pain but it was kind of unremarkable. It was a familiar feeling like she had waited all her life for this moment she was destined for. It was painful and it was beautiful and she was nothing at all.

You ever watched the We Bare Bears? Well the same way that bears get around by stacking on top one another and the same way that Carmen does her speech on top of Ayin and Benjamin in your drawing, the Ayinlings stack on top of one another to get around, stay safe and stay together.

Annnnnnnd because Adam wouldn't shut up about wanting to be on the very tippy top. That and depending on the condition of Abram and Abel, they needed to carry around a drunk Abram and a possibly injured Abel wherever they're going.

And since X is a smol baby bird bro (I have only known him for 5 minutes but I WILL DIE FOR HIM) compared to the others, Ayin has the responsibility of carrying the haphazard tower of kiwis on his back. Good thing he's gotten practice with Carmen and Benjamin and has never skipped leg day. Although his poor little kiwi legs are probably jelly now and his back is at risk of being jellified too.

Honestly, I'm really grateful that my brain isn't wired to jump from hyperfixation to hyperfixation. It has its own unique drawbacks, sure, but I've always found it really comforting that I know what to expect from myself.

back to stobin thoughts like why are they so wise for each other in fics sometimes. like 9/10 times they're giving each other good advice. in reality i feel like it's more of a hit or miss (mostly miss) 3/10 times they give each other good advice. i think they'd typically hype each other up for the worst possible choices (dump them/quit your job/confront that coworker), but rarely actually follow through. like they're complaining. they're brainstorming. but anything concrete? absolutely not.
