Potato Leek Soup

A classic French soup that combines the earthy flavors of potatoes and leeks. Creamy, hearty, and naturally gluten-free, this soup is perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients: 3 large leeks, thinly sliced. 4 potatoes, peeled and diced. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth. 1 cup milk. 2 tablespoons butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh chives for garnish.

Instructions: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add leeks, onions, and garlic. Saut until softened. Add diced potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender. Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth. Alternatively, transfer to a blender in batches. Stir in milk and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chives.

List five things you never get tired of writing. it can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy. then tag five people!

1. Injuries!!!! I like how everyone can relate to pain but it’s also so diverse and can interrupt anything. “What does (injury) feel like Reddit” my favorite thing to google. and I love writing characters throwing up as may be obvious to some.

2. Characters who don’t think they have the power to hurt someone hurting someone. I really like writing kids partly because of this.

3. i like when something emotionally significant just happened or is happening but the characters are in a crowd or busy and have to kind of act normal

4. annoying jobs. lol
