they're both doing that thing where they close into each other and pretend like they're making fun of someone , but it's even more funnier to watch them . mandy and i side eye each other like , " can you believe them ? " .

me : girl WHATEVER . anyWAYS i also bought sonny angels to unbox -

and then we hear the LOUDEST thud ever . mandy , martin , and i all scream and i'm ready to run right out the door from where we entered . guess what ? it was just hamzah dropping his god damn phone .

ok this is going to be the most convoluted answer. No i have not technically "recently watched dt's hamlet" but i have done something funnier which is "recently skimmed dt's hamlet and timestamp where the acts/scenes start and end and how the adaptation moved stuff around and cut things out, and also started a google doc annotating the text". the REASON i did this is bc i studied m butterfly in my asian lit class and that woke up my hamlet braincell too because. ok. the staging in m butterfly was something that brought attention to the themes of performance and reflection and it got a movie adaptation that GUTTED all of this it leaned into the realism instead and it sucked i could write an essay about this (i did actually do this for class) but i should probably reserve that for another post. but do you know what DOESNT lean into the realism and almost has this surreal empty dreamlike quality to the sets and is all about performance and reflections THATS RIGHT it's dt's hamlet so i've been going back and picking it apart like i'm in 12th grade english class. Also bc it's on the list of stuff me and my qpp want to watch together and i want to have a compilation of notes and annotations and stuff to bring up while we watch it

I just find it so funny how clumped together each side’s posts are lol. Like you’ll get four anti-Edelgard pro-Dimitri posts then next batch of asks will be four anti-Dimitri pro-Edelgard posts. It’s funny! I definitely do think this might just be like two people. I would love to know what the time between each ask being sent was but I will refrain from asking Mod because I don’t need to put Mod in that position, and also right now it’s a Schrödingers situation and I doubt anything will be funnier than the scenario I’ve invented in my head.

This blog is great, I love it, everyone is so uptight and arrogant and concerned with the morality and ethics of these fake people, which they have seemingly staked part of their own real life identity on with how much they pathologically need everyone to know just how right they are about the superiority of their super special favorite fake person who is super cool but also a pathetic little meow meow and both their baby and their lover.

And then there are people going “this is what Pokemon I think these characters would have!” And “these are my headcanons for what these characters would be like in modern day!” And “what’s your favorite ship and why?” And “do you think Fodlan has indoor plumbing?” And “what fairy tale would you put each character in?” And “which character do you think is autistic? (Which snowballs into player v player vis-a-vis more of the above mentioned super special favorites)” and, of course, pregnant men. Those times are when this blog is at its best, honestly

Thanks! I've really enjoyed getting to read these supportive messages from you and other anons, and I feel less frustrated about the situation after venting a bit about a little while ago.

I don't have exact timestamps for asks. There might be an extension that does that, but if so I've never used it. Tumblr just tells me how many minutes/hours it's been since an ask was sent. And then when they get posted is always going to depend on what I've got going on. Sometimes I can check this blog every few minutes and upload stuff as it comes in, other times I'm away for hours and come back to 10+ new asks.

I think tumblr should have exact timestamps (like, posted at 4:15 pm) because many of my posts are automatically made funnier by the fact I typed them out at 2 in the morning

while we're on the topic of new tumblrinas may I offer this wonderful advice of account settings>dashboard preferences>show timestamps to see directly by people's usernames when a post was made. some posts hit harder and are infinitely funnier when you can see exactly when it was made
