like im sure he wore suits for high-profile interviews. MAYBE (also im not sure how much he’d even go for a high profile interview i like to think hes the kinda guy to turn them down and not attract too much public attention to himself. idk he strikes me as a less dreamy david lynch-like figure with a sword and inventor of 3D jpeg artifacts) but i dont think he casually goes out in suits

Looking back, it’s clear that Bro Strider really wanted to be a major part of the beta kids session. He wanted to be a hero and be one of the main players. He purchases copies of the game for himself, intending to be the fourth player I guess instead of Jade? When he gives Dave his copy and leaves, the plan changes, and instead he decides to just enter the game with Dave. But before that happens he is the one to save Dave by cutting his meteor in half and throwing his rocket board to him. Once he enters, he immediately vanishes to fight monsters on LOHAC. Then he is the one to send his rocket board to catch Dream Cal, so he can send him to the ectolab, of which he’s briefly in himself. Then he goes fights Jack. He tries to initiate the scratch, but fails. At this moment it seems he was trying to be the hero to cause the scratch and create the new timeline, and of course it doesn’t work but the fact he knows about this is what’s has to happen is odd considering he seemingly never meets up with any of the other guardians. Of course Jack eventually kills him on LOWAS, and I feel like Bro genuinely believed he could’ve truly saved everyone, but alas just like post scratch Dirk, his attempts at being a hero are futile and in this case he was basically doomed from the beginning since he was never meant to play the game. It’s very similar to how Dirk fails in the game over timeline despite all that he tried to do because this is who he is. Only this time he failed because this version of him was never meant or be a hero of the game or be important, arguably bro isn’t even the “main Dirk.�� Due to lacking a dream self or possibility to go god tier or any powerful abilities, he never stood a chance against Jack. His only purpose was to train Dave for sburb, and in trying to steal the spotlight from the beta kids he sealed his fate

its funny bc a lot of the fandom still reads dirk as the posterboy for hegemonic cismasculinity re LE and LE's cycle of violence, but he sucks at doing the most symbolic thing in hs related to toxic cismasculinity. hes a fruit!!! hes a little princess!!!!

im ngl whenever someone writes alpha dirk as extremely compitent in a fight or even just a strife im like who is that!!!!! where is my beautiful boy who runs headlong into bullets bc he thinks he can slice them in half but he cant!!!!!!

hello anon youve just stepped on a landmine that is tb beta sesh guardians, but ESPECIALLY roxys mom

i always liked the implication that guardians in homestuck inherit some of their classpect powers, so i leaned onto it in tb as well (with minimal spoilers, g!dave appearing at the right time to assist dirk with entering the medium, g!dirk creating sawtooth, squarewave and g!hal to help out dave in the future, post-scratch guardians kinda falling apart once g!jake is gone (LOSING HOPE U GET ME AHAHAHA *sobs*))

its the same with g!rose. she appears to have a lot of knowledge about the game the kids will play, and uses it accordingly to guide her kid - roxy - and prepare her for it. its not a good thing. her sources are... dubious. she laser focuses so much on the process of making sure everything goes according to her visions, she loses the thread of what she was really supposed to do - be a good guardian to roxy. she assumes all those bad things have to happen to roxy, because thats what her visions show her. roxys suffering is simply ineventable, and it all has to happen to make the session go as its supposed to go.

i think by now its blatantly obvious that mom in turnabout will mirror bro in the og comic. i once answered an ask that inquired if striders will get the rooftop scene, and i said itll be two other characters that get it in tb!au. yep, its gonna be lalondes in this one, fellas

Okay so in canon, the alpha session pre scratch has 4 kernels and the 6 elements thrown at them are 6 people. 5 trolls and an AI. Resulting in Arquius, Tavris, Erisol and Fefeta, all of which die in their timeline in diferent ways

Now for the diferent sprite fusion you're talking about, i used the exact same people from canon, but mixed them in a diferent order. Creating Haleri, Vrieta, Tavlux and Equdan. You can find the post about them HERE

Who most likely didn't exploded and followed Davesprite and Nanna to John's planet and survived te timeline's errasure.

Now, Davepeta and Jasprose come from Post-Retcon, which means the 6 elements conforming the sprites are diferent this time around, forming, not only Jasprosesprite^2 and Davepetasprite^2, but also GcaTavrosprite and Arquiusprite (again).

SO! all i need to do is pick all the canon people/creatures from the Post-Retcon Sprites and mix them in a diferent way. Like this!

The fussion of Davesprite and Lil Hal, ultimate self and ultimate Strider, would most likely romantically pursue canon Jade, like Davepeta did in homestuck, but more successfully. Also be an amazing sword master due to the knowledge from all timelines.

I mean, it would just be Cat-Equius, doesn't have the cool character develompent that Arquius had, but has nice guardian powers and he's not alergic to himself. Plus he's a cat like his moirail Nepeta

Oh boy, Tavrospersprite^2 has by default achieved ultimate self and is afraid of nothing, because he has knowledge of all Tavros and has learned all their lessons in a second. Will call Vriska a bitch and proceed to kiss Gamzee in one breath, to inmedialty go fight some villain and disappear like a Cheshire cat (isn't alergic to himself because he now knows it's in his head)

RosepetaSprite is a chill gal, and now has the habilities of drawing and writing, making her the ultimate autor. She's a little heartbroken about not being able to be with Kanaya or Karkat, because this timeline's Rose and Dave are dating them, but she won't let that bring her down

Ironically Rosepeta is now conected to the other three sprites. Tavros having the memories of her cat and guide, Equius being her moirail and Davar being a fussion of a copy of her father and of her doomed brother who wanted to see her again. She has some heavy back-up now.
