Something done for @somerandomdudelmao 's apocalyptic series! I haven't used color on anything for a while.

I've been wanting to do fanart for them for such a long time now but I'm a nervous internet person so I don't show myself much or know what to say or how it's okay to interact. HALF THE TIME I DONT EVEN DARE REPOST AND ITS KILLING ME BECAUSE I LVOE THIS SERIES SO MUCH I CRY, as I'm sure everyone can relate.

Raph had never really been my favorite, but lately everything about him makes me so soft and with cass's newest updates? There was no way I could just sit still. It was enough to draw me out of my "too scared to post"-cave and I'm glad.

Also currently saving to buy a new iPad cause mine is usable no more, so I'm borrowing my brother's. The pain of not being able to draw when I want wherever I want has never been greater. I do have some things I wanna show though so idk maybe 🤲

Headcanons below the cut!

After the invasion, Mikey sustained permanent damage to his arms so they tremor all the time (worse under mystic strain). This means that Mikey does less fine art and more messy spray paint art instead as he can no longer do steady lines (hence his mask).

Started getting more spots! My chat fic (Too Many Turtles) takes place a year after the invasion for them and in that time he’s developed more spots on his face and arms.

The compression gloves were made by Donnie, and he usually has to wash them a lot due to paint stains. Otherwise he sticks stickers on them.

As mentioned in my chat fic, he suffers mystic overloads (no cure) in the form of seizures. Similar to seizures they can trigger more likely if he is under stress (physically or mentally) or if he over uses his mystic powers. Forcing himself to release all his power, rather than grow into it as you are supposed to, has caused irreversible damage as his body can’t cope with the strain and needs an outlet for when it builds up too much.

@magisav's wonderful fanart got me revisiting my rottmnt Life: The Ultimate Sacrifice au, so here's a comic and dialogue for ch 12 Don't Abandon Me and ch 13 "Yes"

In the prison dimension:

4h later on earth:

“No, Mikey, I told you we’re not talking to him again until you can tell him we found a way to get him home.”

“But��he needs us now!"

“Even if we talk to him it won’t do him any good because he’ll just think it’s another one of his hallucinations. You’ve heard his latest transmissions, he completely lost touch with reality, that’s why I need to work here in my lab to spend my time trying to figure out how to get him home, instead of leaving my valuable work to have a little ‘chat’ with our psychotic brother!”

*Ding* (new message from Leo)

“Play it.”

“Not now, Angelo, I’m very busy at the moment and there’s nothing of value Leo could possibly tell me because I can’t trust that anything he says is real.”

“Pleeease.”

“You know that doesn’t work on me, Miguel.”

“How about I make your favorite meals every day for a week?”

“Even your thirteen layer vegetarian lasagna? The one you never make because Raph and Pops hate it and always complain when you cook it for supper?”

“I’ll make it twice.”

“Fine. But I’m not responsible for any wacko, off-the-wall deluded ���krang-buddies’ talk you might hear."

POV: Leo is trapped in the prison dimension with Krang Prime, where he can't die permanently and his mental health is rapidly deteriorating.

Unknown to him, using his wrist com mystically sends his audio recordings to his family on earth, and Mikey is able to communicate with him in return, dubbing him the name 'Tiny Mikey' by their mentally unwell brother, who thinks: “The Mikey in my com must be teeny tiny, I can’t see him anywhere.”
