I aim to misbehave. 🚀 The tv series Firefly, follows the adventures of the renegade crew of space travellers, some of whom were Browncoates who fought in the civil war against the superpower authoritarian government in an effort to maintain their autonomy and independence. 1. What's the biggest opposition or adversity in my life right now? 2. 2. How do I best stand up to it? My biggest oppisition or adversity is The Joy of the future, or in this case being spoiled for choice, as usual. I have so many options and none are inherently bad. I'm, just bad at choosing; at making a decision. I freeze and then life moves on and the universe decides for me, which I never like. I can best stand up to this with The elven Knight. Arm myself as best I know how and ride down the path. Be my authentic self, recognize my inherent powers, see the fear for what it is and do the thing anyway. Fake it 'til I make it and decide. I pulled The Lady of the Forest and The Leaving. The first represents feminine energies such as intuition and dreams. Things governed by darkness and the Moon. The second reps going on a journey and imagination. So curiosity about and exploring the deeper meaning of things or life. I find both cards meanings somewhat correspond with my Sun, Moon and Rising sign meanings. Scorpio Sun, Aquarius Moon and Gemini Rising. 🌌 Day 22: How can I train to be at one with the Force? The cards I drew were The Lord of the Forest and The Joy of the Future. The Lord of the Forest being the masculine energies of life. Action, logic and the physical world. Things governed by the Sun. Their unofficial family motto implies that no matter the cost or damage, they can afford it. It also implies a more vengeful message: that anyone who pisses them off will get theirs in turn. Bearers of the Triforce or any piece of it are able to activate its respective enhanced abilities. So my post for Day 11 of the #geekpridechallenge by @faerali did not go up yesterday so here it is. We are now looking at video games. And quick note, this prompt was based on the only geek culture thing I had not at least heard of in this challenge. I am completely clueless about Portal. Okay so moving on.⠀ ⠀ 💫⠀ ⠀ The Cake is a lie. As a player in Portal, you are guided through a scientific research facility by a computer named GlaDOS and asked to perform various tasks. GlaDOS continuously promises you cake at the end of the experiment, but as you progress it becomes increasingly suspicious that the research lab has no intent on letting you leave at all.⠀ ⠀ 🖥️⠀ ⠀ Card 1: What ways do you need to stop wasting your time and energy (for there is no 'cake' at the end of this path)? ⠀ Card 2: What will put you on a path to ward your highest good (better chance of cake)?⠀ When I pulled Bright Spark, as what I'm wasting time and energy on, I was perplexed. Not so much when, I pulled the Star Faerie as the path to my highest good. Just looking at them next to each other. Its like why waste time being this small when you can be this big. Stop focusing on the little things and look at the bigger picture. Super Mario Bros - Mystery Box? ⠀ ⠀ Spread throughout the Mushroom Kingdom are Mystery Boxes with goods and gifts that will help Mario and Luigi on their quest.⠀ ⠀ 📦⠀ ⠀ 1. What gifts are being given to you by the universe to aid you in your current quest for adventure? 2. Where can you find these mystery boxes from the universe?⠀ ⠀ ❓⠀ ⠀ Well, I pulled the Lady of the Forest, Oh No! and the Queen of the Day as my gifts from the universe. Representing feminine energy (dreams, intuition creativity and imagination), the unexpected or things not going the way I imagined as well as blessings beauty and grace. If I tie this to my adventure card from day 10, it works nicely. A journey through faery to gain wisdom would benefit from these gifts. And I can find them with the Captive Man apparently. I'll have to think about that more.⠀ ⠀ 💫⠀ So I took an unexpected break from IG but not from this and one other divination challenge. I am back now though so I've scheduled the posts for the reading I did. I also plan to share a flip through of my divination journal with since I did some fun doodles during this challenge. I find this one interesting as it really highlights the connections between fiction and real life. The prompts are based on geek culture which is based on real life. Day 7 of the #geekpridechallenge by @faerali. Rainbow Brute - Add a little color to your world. 🌈 Draw a card to represent what might be dull, dark or repetitive in your life. Draw a 2nd card to answer how you can provide more color, brightness or diversity to that part of your life. These cards are a bit busy so it was hard to take a picture that would show all the details. So the Heartless Love seems to indicate my nonexistent love life, 😊. I've kind of painted myself into a corner with some practicalities and expectations so things have been literally lifeless in that area of my life.
