Chick fil a: 2 sandwiches, 12 nugs, large fries/soda, couple shakes and cookies
Dairy queen: steak fingers basket w extra fries and gravy, large soda, their fried jalapeno things, and a large blizzard
sonic: 3/4 chicken sandwiches (they’re small but so good), fried jalapeno things, maybe popcorn chicken, route 44 coke zero, shake(s)
why is my mind blanking on fast food places?

ngl y’all i guess i don’t eat *that* much fast food?? my next choice is greasy mexican/texmex
pterry’s: couple chicken sandwiches. idk why i like chicken so much apparently.. also some shakes if their monthly one is good!!

with the word KILLER
My uncle went and shot up a supermarket and he killed six people before the police came in and killed him.
I never knew my uncle particularly well and I hadn’t seen him since I was six years old and that was at a ball game with my Dad, and my father had long since stopped speaking to him. All I really remember about my uncle was that he gave me a big tub of popcorn and I coughed on one of the nugs when I tried to swallow it and he hit my back to try and get the nug out my throat. His hand hurt more than the coughing did.
So I saw his face on the news and the images of the cordoned-off supermarket with the tape and the flashing blue lights and so on. It said that fifteen other folks were injured and some of them critically.
I didn’t really make the relational connection – that it was my uncle that did it – until it got out at my school. Somebody told the kids that the shooter was my uncle. And then suddenly all the attention was turned on me.
Packs of girls would walk up to me in the playground and ask me why he did it. I said I didn’t know because I didn’t know him.
“Your uncle was the one that killed all of those people, right?” a girl said to me in the lunch queue. All her girl friends were watching me. I nodded. “Why did he do it?” I opened my mouth, but didn’t end up saying anything. “You must be a fucked up family, right?” And she walked away with her friends and they followed her righteously.
Or, I would walk down a corridor on my own, and a bunch of other kids would go silent and stare at me.
And then the word circled around the school population and my friends started to dodge me. They didn’t want to be seen with me in the playground or the canteen and they stopped sitting next to me on the bus. When I called them, they wouldn’t pick up. Or when I went around to their house after school or at the weekend they didn’t answer.
It made me really begin to hate my uncle.
One night a car rolled up outside our house. And a bunch of boys (I assume they were boys but I didn’t know for sure because none of us saw them) lobbed a series of bricks through our windows. They had tied bits of paper to the bricks, with the word KILLER crayoned on them. My Mum called the police and the police officers came. The officers didn’t seem to care much about what happened. And they said they would keep an ear out if they heard anything about who might have done it. But they couldn’t help.
Father had to pay for all of the windows to get repaired. Replaced, rather. I was there in the house when the window men were replacing the glass frames. And I overheard them talking about how this house was owned by the brother of the man that went and murdered six people down at the supermarket on a Saturday morning. This is what it took to make our family remarkable, when this had never been the case before.

Crispy, Sticky Korean Chicken
Tumblr media
I saw this video at the beginning of December and couldn’t stop thinking about the gochujang chicken bit (start at the halfway point for this one but tbh you’re going to want to make all of them anyway).
I’ve since made double quantities of my version of it twice and I still can’t stop thinking about it. You will want to eat this every day istg, and the tasty part is all pantry stuff that lasts for ages so you’re ALWAYS READY.
I don’t have process pics but there’s a video up there! It looks like they sprinkle crushed almonds on the top at the end, but that’s a bit spendy so sesame seeds are my sprinkle of choice. Obv you can fry it like in the video but I air fried mine because I hate standing there frying stuff. And maybe it’s lower fat, I dunno, hard to tell when I’ve sprayed oil all over the air fryer.
Tumblr media
Basically, what I do is:
a) use two big packets of boneless, skinless thighs, since you’re going to want to eat this at least three times once you’ve made it and it reheats really well, and chop them quite little so it’s Extra Crispy like popcorn chicken. Toss them in flour.
b) Air fry the chicken in batches, I use the Instant Pot with the air-fryer lid. The trick to them not sticking is to oil spray the frying tray/basket thing quite well and pre-heat the air fryer by turning it on empty until it’s up to heat. I know, revolutionary. Honestly when I realised that doing that stopped nugs and fish fingers sticking my life was changed.
I put some of the fried chicken aside for the kids since the sauce for this one is spicy. They had it with Heinz curry sauce because it tastes a bit like Japanese curry. Next time I’m going to try doing a batch without gochujang then adding it to the pan once theirs is done. I’ll update here once I do!
c) The sauce is gochujang, sugar (I’ve used stevia and I’m going to try it with honey too), ketchup, garlic and soy sauce, with some water added so it makes a nice layer in the pan.
d) Chuck the chicken in the bubbling sauce as it finishes cooking and make sure it’s all coated and sticky, then make a huge bloody pile of it. Then try not to eat all of it at once because you will want to. We’ve had it with rice, noodles, with stir-fry leftovers, on ramen, on its own and in lettuce wraps with kimchi, all of which were perfect.

With the upcoming election looming, my local dispensary had the idea of have a toke your vote event with 3 different strains. One was Donald OG the other two were Kamala Kush and Space Jill. Now I won't pretend to know who the heck Jill is, but I decided to go with the Donald OG. What I had left to show were a few popcorn nugs left, and I can't really review the bud do to a cold I have right now. It doesn't really get me buzzed to be honest, I would assume I need a tolerance break to be honest cause all bud I've been smoking lately is like smoking CBD. So with those two factors in play right now it wouldn't be fair to review the bud at this time, and with all political matters aside I went with Donald OG for the simple reason I'm a huge fan of OG strains. If time allows I'll probably pick up Kamala Kush to review that in a future post, but that's if I can manage to get my hands on it before they take it off shelves.
Edit:
I googled Jill, and it's Jill Stein an independent or third party candidate. I had no clue since politics isn't one of my strengths. Since we are here what are your thoughts on the upcoming election, and what are your predictions? I predict Donald for the win, and if I'm wrong oh well I'm wrong but I'm sure I will be right.

National Popcorn Day- in 420 Fashion
Pop goes the Popcorn Bud- A lighthearted look at popcorn cannabis By Laura Ohman Lotze/ #bestbudsco
www.bestbudsco.com
Ah, National Popcorn Day where popcorn buds – the unassuming understudies of the cannabis world, often overshadowed by their larger counterparts but just as deserving of a standing ovation. Picture walking into your favorite dispensary (Best Buds Dispensary), your eyes glazing over the colossal, picture-perfect buds, only to find these tiny treasures tucked away, much like finding loose change in your couch. They're the unsung heroes of the cannabis plant, proving that good things indeed come in small packages.
Now, let's clear the smoke on what popcorn buds are. Not a different strain, but rather, these are the pint-sized nugs that grow at the plant's lower branches, basking in the shade. Think of them as the understudies to the main act – smaller, yet capable of delivering a performance that rivals the stars. Cultivators trim them to help the plant focus its energy on the colas reaching for the sky, ensuring that none of the plant's efforts go to waste.
But why opt for popcorn when you can have the full-sized feature? Price, my friend, and the thrill of the bargain hunt! Popcorn buds offer the same quality and potency as their larger siblings but at a fraction of the cost. It's like scoring front-row tickets at a discount price – the same great show, just a bit more pocket-friendly.
Contrary to popular belief, these tiny nugs pack the same punch in terms of THC, CBD, and all those other acronyms that make your experience so delightful. They're just as potent, just as flavorful, and, dare we say, even more convenient. After all, who needs the hassle of breaking down larger buds when these little guys are ready to go?
So, is popcorn weed worth it? Absolutely! It's like enjoying gourmet popcorn at the movies – a premium experience without the premium price tag. Next time you're at your local dispensary, give these little guys a chance. Who knows? You might just find that these popcorn buds pop in a way that leaves you coming back for more.
In conclusion, don't let their size fool you. Popcorn buds are like the secret menu of the cannabis world – just as delicious, slightly hidden, and undeniably worth it. So, grab a bag, settle in, and enjoy the show. After all, in the world of cannabis, it's the small surprises that make the biggest impact.
For more insights into the similarities and differences between popcorn buds head on over to Best Buds Dispensary in Denver (at any of their locations). Once there you can chat with a budtender about our current popcorn or nug options, as well as a variety of premium strains and products. Or check us out online at www.bestbudsco.com. #bestbudsco

The taste finishes off quickly but leaves a sweet aftertaste that's not too overwhelming.Adverse ReactionsGold Leaf is generally safe for most users. To alleviate these symptoms, staying hydrated and using eye drops when necessary is recommended. In some cases, taking large doses or having a low tolerance may lead to feelings of paranoia. To avoid this, starting with a low dose and gradually increasing it as needed is best.MedicalIf you're looking for a quick fix for daily stress or loss of appetite, this strain serves as a natural appetite stimulant. It improves your mood and relaxes your body without causing couch lock and works quickly.Interestingly, this strain can also be used in small doses to combat tiredness, and like most Indica strains, it can also help you sleep soundly at night.

Gold Leaf Strain Grow InfoGold Leaf is an excellent choice for beginners who want to grow cannabis outdoors during the summer. One of its key advantages is that it is a tall plant, capable of reaching up to 7 feet or more. This means that it can produce a large number of buds and more resin, resulting in higher potency and better quality. It also germinates quickly, so you can start growing it as soon as the weather allows.Gold Leaf marijuana plant has a moderate growth rate, which helps it develop strong branches and a sturdy structure. It is also resistant to diseases and pests, making it a low-maintenance strain. However, you still need to provide it with adequate water, sunlight, and nutrients to ensure optimal growth and yield. It is a resilient strain that can withstand pests, mold, and harsh weather conditions. If you prefer to grow the Gold Leaf plants indoors, it is still possible to achieve great results, but you will need to put in some extra effort. This strain tends to stretch a lot, so you will need to control its height by using techniques such as topping, cropping, or pruning. You will also need to use a suitable growing medium, such as soil or hydroponics, and provide enough light, ventilation, and humidity. One of the methods recommended by expert growers for growing Gold Leaf indoors is the Screen of Green (SCROG) technique. This involves using a net or a screen to create a horizontal canopy of buds, which maximizes light exposure and yield. Using this method, you can reduce the height of the plants and increase the number of colas.Another important factor for growing this strain indoors is feeding it the right nutrients. This strain requires a balanced diet of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other micronutrients throughout its life cycle. You can use organic or synthetic fertilizers, but make sure to follow the instructions and avoid overfeeding or underfeeding your plants.Gold Leaf is a strain that can reward you with high-quality buds and generous yields if you grow it properly.

Blueberry Shortcake is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing the classic Blueberry X Cherry Pie X Sour Grape strains. With a name like this, you know you’re in for one delicious smoke. Blueberry Shortcake has a super sweet and sugary berry flavor with hints of earthy nuttiness upon exhale. The aroma follows the same profile, although with hints of rich grapes and cherries added into the mix, too. The Blueberry Shortcake high is just as delicious as the flavor, with lifted effects that are perfect for kicking back after a long and stressful day. The Blueberry Shortcake high has a light lifting effect that slowly builds its way up in the back of your mind before taking over and leaving you feeling slightly heavy and totally relaxed. As your cerebral state fades away, your body will soon follow suit, leaving you slightly sedated and totally at ease. With these effects and its super high 17-26% average THC level, Blueberry Shortcake is often chosen to treat conditions such as depression, insomnia, appetite loss or nausea, and chronic fatigue. This bud has fluffy popcorn-shaped forest green nugs…… with purple undertones, light amber hairs, and a coating of frosty white crystal trichomes that are dotted with sticky sweet resin.
