Me after realising that spider only dresses like navi as that’s the only he thinks he’ll be loved and excepted and that he probably is alot more human then we all think but he try’s to get rid of his humanity as much as possible as he’s been denied by the human scientists as well as the navi so my boy is just trapped between 2 worlds and he can’t escape.

Blessed is the Son.

Spider didn't know what to feel when Neteyam dragged him back to the village - without his mask - but there was a growing sense of apprehension in his chest.

It would change everything and nothing at the same time; Spider would still be Spider, he'd still be human regardless of the Great Mother's blessing, and his ability to breath Pandora's air didn't make him any less Quaritch's son.

Spider was still the boy that Neteyam abandoned as his brother and friend; he was still the boy that Jake left behind to the RDA, who he called a stray; and he was still the boy that Neytiri held at knife point, ready to kill, and the proof of that still lingered as a barely healed scar across his chest.

There were shocked gasps, wide eyes, and low murmurs as they approached the village. The Metkayina staring at Spider's face - maskless but still breathing - as Neteyam steered him with a large four-fingered hand on the back of his neck.

They were heading into the core of Awa'atlu, where the communal cook fires and community pods sat, and already Spider could see a familiar head of dreaded black hair pushing through the gathering crowd as him and Neteyam drew closer.

Spider was so absorbed in his own thoughts that he didn't notice Kiri until she was right beside him, grabbing his face in her hands and staring at him with large yellow eyes and a bright smile.

"Spider!"

Whatever Kiri was going to say was cut off by her father.

Jake Sully stood just a few feet away - chest heaving and eyes wide - with Neytiri at his side, one hand gripping her husband's bicep while the other came up to her lips in shock.

"I believe this is a matter best discussed...privately."

Spider's gaze snapped over to Tonowari, the Olo'eyktan, who stared down at Spider with an unreadable expression, but it was nothing compared to the tsahik's stare that felt like she was seeing his very soul.

"How long?"

That is the only question that Jake can manage to force past his lips, his brain was still struggling to comprehend the sight before him.

"I've only known for a year or so now."

Known.

Spider has known for a year, maybe more, and he never told them.

The next question is painful, Jake knows that whatever answer Spider gives them will only add to the sinking feeling in his stomach because there are very few ways for Spider to have found out his ability to safely breath Pandora's air.

"How did you...?"

"I took off my mask"

Jake can't stop the pained sound that builds in his throat, and the burn in his eyes only intensifies because Spider took off his mask; it wasn't an accident.

It feels like in this moment - staring into Spider's eyes without the visor of an exopack in the way - is the first time that Jake has truly let himself see Spider, the boy who he failed; the son he was too cowardly to call his own.

Jake looks at Spider, and he can barely see a trace of Miles Quaritch in the boy's face. Brown eyes; dirty blond hair; Spider is his mother's son in appearance, the only feature that Jake can pinpoint as coming from Quaritch is the dimple in the boy's chin.

There's an ache deep in the former Olo'eyktan's chest.

"Why?"

Warnings: impure regression, sensory overload

Plot: When Spider regresses during SLT'S, it sets off a domino effect

The SLT's slowly filter in after recess. Ms Obae is standing at the front of the class with a set of pencils, pens and paints in front of her.

The class slowly sits down and she takes the role before starting the class.

"OK everyone. We're going to try some art therapy today. I want you to pick which ever medium speaks to you and tell me a story though your art."

Spider borderline stomps to the front of the class and grabs the first jar he sees.

"Miss! Spiders gone with mental illness gray" Missy teases, grabbing a jar for herself and walking back to her seat.

Spider just sticks his tounge out at her and stomps back to his seat, muttering under his breath. He grumpily sits down next to Harper, still muttering.

Meanwhile, Quinni is sinking further into her seat. She glances around the room, taking note of all her possible escape routes.

"Hey" Cash says, gently nudging her. "You good?"

Quinni just nods and starts to draw on the paper. Cash gives her another concerned glance before giving the class a quick once over.

He does a double take when he sees spider scribbling on his piece of paper and silent tears streaming down his cheek.

Cash elbows Harper rather harshly to get her attention, not wanting to scare Quinni.

"Ow! What?" Harper hisses, rubbing her side where Cash elbowed her. She goes very quiet, with a small, "oh" when she's sees the tears slowly dripping off of spiders face.

"Spider? Hun?" Harper asks softly before placing a hand on his shoulder, trying not to spook him.

As she gets closer, she can hear what he's been muttering under his breath. "This is so cringe. Why are we even doing this?"

"Oi. Cut it out." Harper says sternly. It's mostly to tell him off but it's also to test his mental age and to assess whether or not he's regressed.

"Why are we doing this?" Spider says louder, meeting her eyes in a very clear challenge. His eyes flicker over to quinni and his expression softens for a moment when she covers her ears at his noise. But then he glances over at Darren and it's like a fires been lit in his chest.

"Why is this a more valid way of expressing my emotions then just telling you that this class sucks? How is this crayon going to fix it? How is this crayon going to fix me?" He's standing now, facing the class as he rants.

His voice breaks into a sob on the last word and he raises his hand to his face, alarmed when it comes back wet. When did he start crying?

Harper doesn't even say anything to him, she just stands up and drags him out of the class by his shirt.

It's only once their out of SLT's and she's sat him down in an empty classroom that she turns to look at him. He flinches, expecting yelling and hitting and anger.

She surprises him instead by kneeling down at his level and just holding eye contact. Her face tells him that she's not impressed and he physically feels his heart break in two at the thought of disappointing her.

"What's going on Spec?" Harper asks gently, still holding eye contact.

He goes to talk but all that comes out is a garbled sob. He stammers as he tries to find a way to express the complicated mix of anger, hurt, upset and overwhelm that's swirling around inside him.

Oh. He's regressed. That's why he lashed out and why everything was too much all of a sudden.

"Too loud. Lights too bright. Dusty gone. Ant hurt" he stammers, breaking eye contact to look at the floor, tears still flowing freely down his cheek. "I'm sorry" he says, barely above a whisper.

"Hey. Spider. Can you look at me for a sec?" Harper says, gently lifting his chin to meet his gaze. "You never ever have to apologise for being small. You're allowed to be overwhelmed but you are not allowed to take that out on other people. Especially Ms Obea"

Spider just nods and drops his gaze again. "I don't feel as little as normal. I kinda feel like a pre-teen? If that makes sense? Like I feel all stompy and grumpy" He says after a moment of figuring out how to articulate what he is feeling.

"Oh, that's all good. Tell you what? How about we meet up with Quinni and Cash and we go back to the apartment and we play some video games?" Harper offers, making sure to lower her voice to a more appropriate level.

In the room directly next to them, Quinni was happily telling Cash all about the different types of ducks and what makes them different.

Quinni was on the verge of a meltdown but Cash, knowing Quinni and her regression, pulled her out of the class and into an empty classroom not long after spider and Harper left.

They did some deep breaths, then Cash pulled out a colouring book from his backpack and they decided to colour together until the period was over, then they'd go back to the apartment.

A ping on Cash's phone grabs his attention and he glances down at it. It's a text from Harper reading "Spiders middle regressed. Going to apartment. Wanna grab others and come and turn it into a gathero?"

He quickly texts her back "Quinnis regressed too. I reckon we just bring the two and chill there. Less chance of meltdowns."

Harper texts him a thumbs up and both caregivers quickly gather up the gear spread on the floor before getting in their respective cars and driving to the apartment.

This serves as my formal petition for the squad to name Spider’s drunk persona Dolly Parton

Great because now all I can imagine is Spider trying to mimic Quaritch's accent when he's drunk and the squad deciding he sounds more like Dolly Parton. When Spider asks who Dolly Parton is and why he sounds like him they can't stop laughing. And so the nickname was born. (forevermore Spider believes Dolly to be a famous male musician, because none of the recoms feel the urge to enlighten him)

*punches drywall* I must've rewritten this part a million times and I'm still not sure I worded it as best as I can. I usually write SO MUCH in my descriptions but rn I don't have much to say about this one.

I guess I just wanna say if you're someone who rb's these comics and writes your thoughts in the tags, or comments or really has said anything about these pages so far, I'm really grateful. I made the original sketch for this months ago just for myself, didn't think I'd finish it or show anyone, but rn I'm going through some grief in my personal life and I needed a big project to distract me. It means a lot that people are reading this one and giving their thoughts, I've even seen people I never thought would look at my art read this comic?? Idk this is a special project to me and it makes me Feel Emotions that people like it. Thank you

Okay so I got a idea for a navi spider au but I have a few problems with it and idk if I should make it, so here like a summary of it.

Spider dies in place of neteyam in the final battle at the end of the second moive. He gets give back to Eywa, during the time he’s dead Quaritch gets his redemption arc and he joins a ash people rebellion against the bad ones and he Marrys the chef of that clan and they have a daughter together. Then 6 years after spiders death they find an avatar body that looks like spiders and they find out it is his (made by the RDA, as they wanted to make clones of him but they only had a small amount of his DNA to make one) and Quaritch gets an idea that they can put spiders Sprit inside the avatar body but jake(and a lot of people) are against his idea and say they want spider to rest. So Quaritch takes spiders avatar body and he and his clan preform the Ceremony and it works, before spider gone into the body he talks to Eywa and she gives him a second chance at life. Spider get put into the body. Now he has to learn about the ash peoples way and also keep up with his father, little sister, adopted mother(who is about to another have a baby). And a lot more conflict-

Idk if I should make it bc we’ll we don’t know a lot about the ash people yet and i don’t wanna just assume stuff about their culture. And I’ve tried to see if they’re little anything I could find about them but no I’ve found nothing. So it’s kinda stopping me from writing it. So I might just focus on something else. But what should I do? Does anyone like know what the ash peoples culture could be based on because that’ll be helpful.

How was their first kiss like?

First kiss? Spidey's (and Wade's) brain go out the window.

Unfortunately, most of Peter's body is poison. :(

I decided to combo the questions and there's an explanation under the cut.

Peter produces venom both on demand but also unconsciously when he's excited/high on adrenaline etc.

When he's producing venom, it mixes into his saliva and acts like a neurotoxin, which can produce intense highs that can quickly tip over into oversensitivity and pain.

His mouth is EXTREMELY sensitive because of this. Wade's skin is like the fourth of july for his brain.

Prolonged internal exposure (kissing/oral/licking a cut/etc) creates a headrush that leaves most normal people unconscious. Skin to saliva contact is just tingly.

(Making out for long periods of time/oral with MJ was NOT on the table- which had MJ coming to wrong conclusions.)

His blood is straight up poison. Would not recommend ingesting. (Don't eat brightly colored spiders, kids!)

His sweat is so negligible as to be be unnoticeable- unless you're wringing towels into your mouth.

His semen also produces intense sensation- mostly oversensitivity, that can be incredibly pleasurable, but can also tip into pain and paralysis for most people. Peter has no idea his semen can do this- because he's never experimented with it (always a condom. ALWAYS).

Because Wade has an incredible healing factor, as well as extensive nerve damage and scarring, he doesn't experience the negative aspects of Peter's venom. A big enough dosage could cause paralysis and death, but it's also going to have to be a WAY bigger hit than Spiderman would normally apply.

This is a super fun learning experience for them both!
