the rfa at the eras tour

this is entirely self indulgent LMAO but here's how the characters would be @ the eras tour.

zen would love the concert. while he may not listen to all of her music, he very much enjoyed the entire set and especially loved how happy you were to be there. probably wouldn't join in on any of the chants or trade any bracelets, but instead looks at you with a smile every time you do. definitely takes a lot of pictures of you, and taylor, and then the both of you because your matching outfits are just the cutest. his favorite era would either be lover-- he can't help but look at you throughout the entirety of lover-- or 1989, because the visuals and the sound just completely enrapture him.

yoosung would just be happy to be there! knows her earlier stuff, but doesn't really know anything beyond 1989. goes feral over the fearless era, and screams almost as loud as you along to love story. if there's a proposal at your concert, you can bet he'd be crying while witnessing it-- and also a little jealous that he didn't think of the same idea. poor boy almost dies during vigilante shit-- his face is redder than a tomato and he chokes on his spit as he tries to look anywhere but the stage. you take many photos of this.

saeyoung is almost as excited as you are. he lives for anything that lets him dress up. he sat there making hundreds of friendship bracelets for you, spent hours shopping both online and in person for the perfect matching outfits, learned every chant and every song so he could fully enjoy the experience with you. and he did! however, any video anyone within five feet of him took would be unusable because he'd he screaming at the top of his lungs. holds you close during the lover and speak now era and definitely cries at one point during the show. fills up the entirety of his phone storage with only pictures and videos of you and him or just you.

jumin is. not having a good time. LMAO this man doesn't like huge crowds like that, and doesn't know most of the songs and craves the quiet comfort of his home. however, one look at you has him relaxing and a small, soft smile taking over his tense features. this was entirely for you, of course, and seeing you so happy and excited was enough to quiet any discomfort he might've felt. doesn't take any photos or videos, but he'll let you pull him down for selfies. the only video he has from that night is the one you sent to him of him kissing the crown of your head during lover.

jaehee is just excited to be there with you! she's a casual fan of taylor swift-- she doesn't really fangirl over anyone that's not zen-- so she probably won't know any of the chants, and definitely won't trade any bracelets, but she'll happily dress up with you. sings along under her breath to the songs that she knows, and just nods along to the ones that she doesn't. really likes the midnights era- and especially vigilante shit. blushes whenever you hold her hand or kiss her cheek or sing to her during the love songs. she takes one or two photos.

saeran absolutely refuses to go with you at first. attending a three and a half hour concert with thousands of people attending sounds like his own personal hell, but when you go to ask saeyoung to accompany you, saeran finally relents. "fine!" he'll grumble, "no need to ask my idiot brother. i'll go with you." you...hadn't suggested that to make him change his mind, but. a win is a win! he doesn't do any of the chants or any of the bracelets, and doesn't dress up. (or, at least, he doesn't wear anything he wouldn't usually wear, but. it's looks pretty reputation era, so you're happy.) despite his grumbling and his anxiety, saeran really did love seeing you so happy and carefree. is surprised by how much he enjoyed the reputation era, and ignores your smug look as he adds the songs to his playlist later on. refuses to take any pictures or videos, and will only be in a few for you.

Thank you for your previous work. I was wondering if you could write a headcanon of RFA (excluding Saeyoung, as you have already done him) and Saeran with MC. In this scenario, chaos follows MC everywhere without any logical reason, but REMINER IT DOESN'T HARM MC, ONLY THE PEOPLE AROUND HER. This ability also runs in her family, so if they have a gathering, chaos happens without fail. Additionally, I have a funny scenario in mind where Saeran kidnaps MC to Mint Eye, and as a result, chaos ensues, but MC casually escapes. I search Kofuku and I see some similarities but the idea of MC having this "ability" is actually come from an Disney Show called Milo Murphy's Law

Yoosung

I feel like the poor guy will get rather spooked by this strange ability of yours. He's already prone to getting into some very embarrassing situations without any external force pulling the strings. Do you mean to tell him that he'll have to deal with even more disasters in his daily college life!? It's more humorous than serious, though. He may act a bit startled by it at first, but he's definitely the type to get very curious despite his initial reservations. It baffles him how such a thing could actually happen in reality, and not in fiction. Is it appropriate for him to call you a superhero...? He'll also probably want to try and use this ability of yours for his advantage. Not anything bad... But, hey, maybe, just maybe... you could make his professor miss his bus today? He has no desire whatsoever to study for the philosophy test tomorrow morning.

Zen

Zen is able to take it all in stride. He won't be shocked by this revelation of yours, as he has a few unique abilities himself. It's actually kind of exciting for him to meet someone in a somewhat similar situation to his own. Though, your little quirk is far more chaotic than he would expect. It's a good thing he has supernatural healing powers and prophetic dreams on his side! He will be able to avoid most adversity coming his way, and, even if he does get injured, he will probably be strutting down the street without a fuss after a day or two. He'll also be very fussy about you not blaming yourself for anything. He actually finds your bad luck kind of cute! At any rate, that's what he asserts to you.

Jaehee

To put it simply, she is stumped. Since she's the most logical person in the group, she'll have trouble believing you at first. Not until she encounters the undeniable proof of your ability with her own two eyes. Out of everyone in the RFA, having bad luck following this poor overworked woman will probably make you feel especially bad for her. Much like Yoosung, she'll get rather spooked once she accepts it as reality. I could see her beginning to steer clear of you even. She's already so incredibly stressed... the last thing she needs is even more trouble on her hands. She does mellow out once she sees that you are a genuinely good person, though. She'll even apologize to you for acting rashly with you. It's possible that you and Jaehee could find ways to overcome this cursed quirk of yours.

Jumin

Without a doubt, the most enthralled among all. You might think he'll be the most skeptical one of the bunch, but no. This is a man who has a huge infatuation with the occult we're talking about here. Once he sees actual tangible proof, you have a real annoying observer on your hands. Will ask you dozens and dozens of questions, do his own research in his free time, maybe even ask you to provide him some of your blood samples or something. With your consent, of course. It may become too much to handle for you. But, what you don't need to worry about is Jumin avoiding you or treating you as a threat. He makes it a point to let you know that he will not judge your character based on factors that are out of your control. With his resources, you might even come to learn more about your abilities!

Saeran

He'll be anxious. Much like his brother, but in a more subdued manner. I feel like your constant bad luck would be one of the factors that pushed Ray into choosing you, believe it or not. He can relate to bad things happening around you, while all you can do is watch helplessly. He will also take the effects of your bad luck in stride. Almost to a fault. You'll have to remind him to please take care of himself and not put himself in harm's way because of you. Suit Saeran, on the other hand, will curse you and your ability. He'll definitely think that you are doing it on purpose. That you want him to suffer. He'll ensure that you understand your position beneath him. He hates the feeling of losing control, and that's exactly what drives him mad about you and your stupid bad luck that he can't control, no matter how hard he tries. He will apologize to you for blaming it all on you, though. You can expect him to tell you that he has come to the realization that you had no intention of harming him, and that you possess a good heart. A heart that is too great for someone as dark and rotten as he is. GE Saeran will be way more balanced about it all. It'll take you two some time to figure it out, with him not putting too much pressure on himself, and you not worrying too much about harming him. Maybe you could develop a working system between you two that will help you keep disasters to a minimum, while also having a reliable plan for any accidents that may inevitably occur.

Idk if I'd laugh in that moment, but i'd definitely burst out laughing like. An hour or two later when (most) of the adrenaline has run out and I managed to actually process what he said. Like a delayed reaction to escaping Mint Eye when I was unsure if I'd even survive the day and the relief just hits all at once

Poor Saeran would probably be confused as hell why I start laughing out of nowhere, but hey, at least I get to tell him "I'm so happy to be here right now."

Who’s the cuddler?

I have always had this strong headcanon that Saeran is a little touch-averse at first. He really wants that physical affection, truly he does. But it makes him uncomfortable and a little scared for quite a long time and it needs to be something that he’s eased into and given space and time to become comfortable with. Yoosung would be the more physically affectionate on initially because he just really loves the little acts of holding hands or cuddling with you. They make him genuinely happy. In the long term, though, after he’s become more okay with it, I feel like Saeran is the more physically affectionate one overall, with long, firm hugs being his thing.

Who makes the bed?

It would have to be you because honestly, both of these boys are kind of slobs in that regards. They just don’t think to make the bed unless they’re told to or someone makes a comment about it. That being said though, Yoosung changes his sheets more than Saeran does.

Who wakes up first?

I honestly feel like it would have to be you or Yoosung but only like 90% of the time. The other 10% it’s Saeran, but only because he just plain out hasn’t slept. I’ve always strongly headcanoned that Saeran has issues with sleep and there are times that he’ll go days without sleeping and then just micro-naps until his body just can’t handle it anymore because both his mind and body are just too exhausted, and he crashes. Yoosung, if given the choice, will prefer to sleep in a bit, especially if he’s spent the night up with you and Saeran or up gaming but he can get up early for school or work.

Who has the weird taste in music?

Saeran’s tastes run weird because they’re really split between what Saeran likes from childhood, what he liked in his Unknown persona, and what he liked as Ray. Ray preferred soft music and instrumentals or classical music from the Romantic period, while Unknown was really into trap and rap music. Saeran though…he remembers the songs Saeyoung sang with him as children and lullabies soothe him still.

Who is more protective?

I feel like Yoosung can get more protective, definitely, and especially so after everything that happens in the game. It can come across at times like he doesn’t trust you or Saeran or doesn’t think you guys will make the right decisions because he’s incredibly poor at finding the words to describe why he worries so much about you and usually ends up putting his foot in his mouth a little. It’s actually what causes most of the larger fights with Yoosung.

Who sings in the shower?

Saeran does it. He hates singing in public because it embarrasses him to have people watch him sing. He’s fine with singing to you over the phone or when your eyes are closed and he thinks you’re sleeping…but the shower is his private spot where no one watches him and, because he genuinely enjoys singing, he lets himself do it in there.

Who cries during movies?

Oh my god but is Yoosung ever a sap when it comes to anything even remotely sad during a movie. He just gets really into his media, and he connects deeply with those fictional characters and when bad things happen to or for them, it can upset him deeply. There were definitely cut scenes even in just his video games that made him tear up.

Who spends the most while out shopping?

Yoosung can live on a pretty reasonable budget but has a tendency to throw money away on games when he has a rough day. Saeran…despite growing up with relatively nothing, really, he never quite learned the value of money or how to budget it or manage it and he’s the worst one for spending without thinking, especially so if he’s using card instead of cash.

Who kisses more roughly?

Saeran’s kisses are hesitant, especially at first, but can become very rough when he gets comfortable or stops feeling embarrassed and just surrenders to the moment.

Who is more dominant?

It would have to be a combination of both you and Saeran. Yoosung is definitely quite submissive. He would honestly be just as happy to turn over every big decision to you and Saeran and have you two make all the decisions. Saeran’s streak of dominance is more out of needing to feel like he’s in control of his life and his decisions after so long of not having any control over those things.

My rating of the ship from 1-10?

Honestly, it’s probably about 6 or 7 out of 10. It’s not an absolute favourite, I have to write about it so much kind of love, but I’m definitely a fan because I think these two balance each other out well and would interact with both each other and with the lovely readers (or myself, if I’m having fun with self-ship fantasies) in such interesting ways.

I believe Sephiroth is the one I have written the most ships with. Which is not a lot, if you can believe it? Most of my RP partners haven't gotten to ship with me because of how slow I am in my approach to chemistry building.

It's pretty unfortunate that Tumblr priv blogs are so limited (followers can't like posts) but since these are pretty sketchy, I prefer keeping my doodle WIPs just for mutuals ^^

Secret Sen lore. I first met my friend Aya (@/slurpn00dles) and other friends in 2018 in a Mystic Messenger Discord server that I helped mod ^^ I first played MM back in 2016 (pretty soon after launch date).

Thoughts on Jumin and Unknown/Saeran

My fave was immediately Jumin. Weird cat… I missed your cat text bubbles Jumin!!! 🐈‍⬛💙💜

I was going through all the calls and chatroom logs I did back then. Trip down memory lane...

My faves are Jumin and Unknown/Saeran (OS), tied. Saeran's OS self and my rewrite AU version of him makes him tied with Jumin. My fave MM ships are Jumin/MC and Saeran/MC cuz I favour meow meow mfs. They bring such interesting tension to ships!

Jumin is the silly rich stoic aloof CEO type who obsesses over his cat. He's a cat dad who likes sewing. He's ace spec and funny with huge gap moe. I like his emotional maturity, speaking style, and his struggles with loneliness, solitude and emotional repression. He's genuinely likeable imo.

Unknown/Saeran (OS) is also my fave 🩷 I always love cool interesting antagonist charas with good designs. His design and personality have such c*nt. Love him. Doodle is based on this Unknown/Saeran x MC Welcome screen line~

Some thoughts

Mystic Messenger is a Korean romance visual novel (otome game) that released with 5 routes referred to as Original Story (OS).

Mystic Messenger released with routes for the RFA members and the Secret Endings (post-707 route). These 5 routes are referred to as Original Story (OS).

Casual Story: Zen, Yoosung, Jaehee

Deep Story: Jumin, 707

Cheritz wanted to cater to fans who wanted routes for Unknown/Saeran and V due to their popularity, so they created Another Story (AS).

When Ray Route first released in Another Story (AS), I wasn't satisfied, like imo it's the worst MM route by far. Like wtf. I never wanted the route with my fave to play out like that.

I think Another Story (AS) is a shitty AU (imo) that takes Saeran's character in REALLY poor writing directions.

Since I shipped Saeran x MC way before Another Story came out, I just thought it was gonna be like... Enemies to Lovers, but with a mysterious, ominous enemy.

Unknown was just better as a mysterious and ominous enemy in OS. But I still think Saeran's route could've been done MUCH better though.

Unknown/Saeran (OS) Route Rewrite AU

I started coming up with an Unknown/Saeran (OS) route rewrite AU where Miyeon (MC) accepts Unknown's invitation to come with him to Mint Eye. Miyeon infiltrates Mint Eye to find out more info about the hacker, Unknown, and the place called “Magenta,” the headquarters of Rika's organization, Mint Eye.

My AU plays out more like a crime drama. Miyeon is on a crime investigation mission! It takes place in the Original Story (OS) setting and has much better relationship development, and growth and healing for him.

MC’s name is Chae Miyeon (채미연/采美蓮)

Miyeon (미연/美蓮) means “beautiful lotus” 🪷💗

I chose the name myself since I wanted to pick a pretty name meaning. I thought it’d be cool if she had a name that matches the letters MC (or technically CM, in EA naming order)

I still need to draw her. I imagine her appearance is just like the default MM MC with long brown hair and gold eyes, but she has a big ribbon in the back.

Yoosung and Rika

I guess I feel bad for misjudged Yoosung when he's having a hard time and whining because of Rika over and over again. At first, I thought that he's being immature and annoying. I thought he could be at least understandable towards V and not being all pushy. When all he wants is the TRUTH about Rika. The secrets that V had been hiding from him, from the rest of the RFA. Because for Yoosung, Rika is an important person and a role model for himself.

But when it's come to Saeyoung about Saeran. I was so quick to being understanding towards the anger that Saeyoung feel and be furious with the stubbornness of V keeping a secret from him. Saeran is an important person to Saeyoung, just as Rika is an important person to Yoosung. I don't know if making a comparison between these two relationship is somewhat relevant but what I do want to say is, Yoosung suffered as much. V wrapped up Rika's lost with a suicide WITHOUT evidence. How do you think Yoosung would feel about that? How do you think Yoosung would feel when everyone in the RFA would always asked him to just trust V because he's the leader, to move on, to get a counseling session, to just focus on himself while his inspiration is already gone WITHOUT an appropriate explanation. Can you just shut your eyes, your mouth, your ears and accept the blind truth? Yoosung wouldn't accept that, just like Saeyoung would NEVER accept the lies about Saeran's safety.

Yoosung just want the truth, the solid evidence. But no. There's nothing but lies. There's nothing left but the unspoken truth, hiding and unresponsive V. Everyone seems to move on but not Yoosung. He's still grieving. While he's being somewhat childish and stubborn, he's being reasonable with being mad with V.

Just as Saeyoung's anger toward V is pretty much reasonable regarding of the consequences of V's constant lies (and Rika too) lead to Saeran suffered even more. I'm sorry Yoosung. I think I've come to realize about your frustration, and I would be more understanding now. Thank you for open my eyes and seeing the struggle that you had as real.

July 16th

Haunted House Date

“Let’s go in there!” Saeran pulled Yoosung behind him. The fair had been a great date idea. They held hands and Saeran loved to see how happy Yoosung was. The Haunted House would be great for making Yoosung cling to him.

“Th…there?” Yoosung stammered but he was dragged along. He wrapped his arm around Saeran’s, already leery of the dark and creepy building. Over the entrance there was a leering clown head with missing teeth that bobbed back and forth, almost touching those who entered. There were also ghosts, werewolves, zombies, and vampires crawling out through the fake windows. Yoosung knew they were just automatons and not a real threat, but they still scared him.

He closed his eyes as they passed through the door into darkness only broken by an eerie green light. Something grazed his hip and he screamed, practically jumping into Saeran’s arms. Saeran just chuckled and wrapped his arm around Yoosung’s waist and pulled him close. This was working like a charm! It was difficult for Saeran to show his affection, there was still some residual abandonment fears. He was working on being more open and not safeguarding his heart, but it was hard to change those habits he’d had to employ in order to not get hurt by others.

Haunted houses were fun but not that scary to Saeran. He knew Yoosung didn’t like scary movies so this would have the same affect. He almost felt guilty but didn’t seem to bother him that much when this was the result. He held Yoosung closer as they walked deeper. People kept jumping out, horror music playing through the hidden speakers, and eerie lighting flickered around them. Yoosung mostly kept his eyes closed, but when he opened them, he screamed and clutched at Saeran all the more. At this point he was grinning from ear to ear and winking at the people working in the house that were scaring his boyfriend, conspiratorially. It seemed to confuse many of them, but they soldiered on.

A little past halfway and Saeran was beginning to think maybe he’d made a mistake. Yoosung was shaking and there were tears falling from his closed eyes. This wasn’t what he’d had in mind.

“Are you OK?” he asked.

“Uh…umm…yeah, this…this is fine…” Yoosung struggled to speak, his voice sounding thick with swallowed tears. Damn.

A zombie walked out and lay a hand on Yoosung’s shoulder, making the blond scream loudly and step on Saeran’s toes. That was it! Saeran turned, placing Yoosung behind him and punched the zombie in the face.

“Don’t touch him!” he screamed.

The zombie stumbled back, hands going to his nose, which was suddenly gushing blood. “Ok Ok!” he whimpered, scuttling back to his hiding place. Saeran picked Yoosung up and began walking towards the exit.

“That goes for the rest of you too! Hear me?” he yelled down the hallway. A succession of ‘uh huh’ ‘you got it’ ‘no problem’ came from every direction, even behind them. A light came on above them as he carried his boyfriend out and into safety. The blonde clung to him, even when they were out into the heavily lit fair grounds.

Saeran gently put him down. “I’m so sorry Yoosung. I shouldn’t have made you go in there.” He sheepishly looked away, not wanting to meet the blond’s eyes.

Yoosung slammed back into Saeran, hugging him tight, burying his face into his chest.

“No no, I’m sorry. I’m such a scardy cat! I know it isn’t real, but I can’t help it. I should have said I didn’t want to go in there.”

“You don’t understand.” Saeran whispered into his fluffy hair. “I took you in there on purpose. I knew you didn’t like to be scared. I thought…it would be a good way to get you to be close to me. I didn’t even consider how terrified you would get. I’m a terrible boyfriend. I don’t know why you would want to stay with me!” He tried to pull away, sure Yoosung would leave him now because of his selfishness.

But Yoosung held him even tighter, refusing to let him pull away even an inch. “Oh shut up you idiot!” he mumbled against his chest. “I swear to God! You act so tough, just like your brother but both of you are nothing but marshmallow inside! Looking for the same thing but terrified to admit it!” he looked at Saeran, purple eyes swimming in tears but brilliantly resolute. “If you want to hold me, then just do it! If you want to kiss me. DO IT! If I’m not feeling it, it’s not a rejection of you. I love you. I want you. I’m not going anywhere. You don’t need to ‘trick’ me into being affectionate! Idiot!” his face softened, and so did his words. He leaned towards Saeran and kissed him.

Saeran tasted salty tears and cherry gloss. He sighed into the kiss, his body losing the tension he’d accumulated, absolutely feeling like the idiot Yoosung called him.

“I’ll try, it’s just so hard to ask for what I need.” Saeran frowned.

“I have an idea.” Yoosung said as he pulled away, keeping his arms around Saeran’s shoulders. “How about we come up with a code word and when you feel like you need some affection you can use it.”

“What do you mean?” “Say our code word is ‘banana split’. If you want physical touch and don’t feel comfortable initiating, or asking for it, just say something like ‘I feel like having a banana split’, and I’ll know to hold your hand, or give you a hug, or even a kiss.” As he talked Yoosung did all those things.

“Oh. I see.” Saeran smiled as he understood what Yoosung was suggesting. “But, can we make it something other than banana split cause I do like having those a lot.”

Yoousng laughed but nodded. “Very true. We don’t want any misunderstandings. What do you want it to be then?”

“Hmm, let me think.” Saeran furrowed his eyebrows. “I got it! ‘Fractal Pattern”!” he grinned and pulled Yoosung in tighter, delighted with himself.

“How are you going to use that in a sentence?” Yoosung laughed.

“Don’t have to. I’ll just say it, like…” he shrugged and let go of Yoosung walking a few steps away. “Fractal pattern.” He said.

Yoosung chuckled but stepped into the man, laying his head on the red-heads shoulder as Saeran wrapped his arms around him. “Perfect. But, why that phrase?”

“I don’t know, fractals are beautiful and unique, just like you.” He kissed the top of his head and sighed contentedly.

Yoosung tried not to let the newly formed tears of happiness fall.

“You’re right. This is much better than trying to scare you so you cling to me.”

“Yeah. Although, I think the workers in there are more scared than I was.”

“Oh, heh. I hope that guy is OK.”

“Just in case, maybe we should leave before they come out after us.” Yoosung suggested.

“Good point. Don’t worry though, I’ll protect you.” Saeran said as they walked away, further into the fairgrounds.

“I have not doubt.”

After a few seconds of walking hand in hand Saeran said, “Fractal pattern.”

Yoosung happily moved in closer, wrapping his arm around Saeran’s and pressing himself against his side as they walked. Saeran sighed, squeezing Yoosung’s hand. Yep, this was much better.

Hey mia what kind of dynamic would yoosung and saeran have in between them on the context of yoosung good/normal ending (aka saeran had blinded yoosung in one eye).

So in the yoosung valentine dlc, seven was in his jokester mood we have known him to have, which makes me speculate that between the good/normal ending and the valentine dlc (which are quite some years apart since in the latter yoosung is in his mid-late 20s) seven had rescued saeran and rika was secretly rehabilited without her being exposed of her crimes.

Seven would not keep his jokester facade and is also likely to leave rfa if he knew saeran was not okay (something he had discovered in that very route).

So with the assumption of seven rescuing saeran shortly after yoosung route and saeran meeting the rest of the rfa including yoosung. What kind of dynamic would the two have. I see both the potential for angst and some heartwarming moments as well

Pretty much the same as in SE, but with even more added trauma and guilt between them specifically.

MM endings are rather open to interpretation, so there are a lot of ways to imagine your own individual story playing out. I personally like it about them! So, it is very much a possibility that Mint Eye does get discovered and dismantled eventually, and that the twins do reunite. If we're taking a safer route, with Saeyoung staying with the RFA, and everyone working together without any added drama, then it'll pretty much play out similarly to the second SE.

Saeran will be recovering at the hospital until a specific point, and after that, he will be staying with Saeyoung in his bunker. How that whole thing plays out, and how differently it is from the SE, is completely up to you.

That said, I do think Yoosung will handle the whole crisis a bit more maturely, as well as play a more active role. If we're taking his character development in the duration of his route into account, he is way more determined to do whatever he can to help.

He also has a strong support system by his side in this scenario, so his issues concerning Rika will be resolved more painlessly and in a much healthier manner.

But, that raises the issue of Saeyoung not going through his own development that happens in his own route. And, you know what this means. Even if he doesn't leave the RFA, he'll still become distant and cold with them. The idea of Yoosung being the one who encourages him to open up and trust his friends is something I quite like. It's sweet, in a way, considering how Saeyoung supported Yoosung from the sidelines on his own route. I personally think that these two share one of the closest friendships in the RFA, so it's neat to imagine them encouraging one another like this.

So, there's that.

And Saeran? Well, Yoosung will only have a chance to interact with him directly after a long time has passed. I don't think his recovery will be any less rough than it is in the SE. Quite the opposite, actually. Poor Saeyoung will definitely experience a very difficult and stressful period. The rest of the RFA are going to be his main source of comfort and support. Maybe Yoosung and mc meet up with him from time to time, or maybe Yoosung prepares him some healthy food to eat up while they are stuck in the bunker.

I do think Yoosung will be sympathetic, despite everything. Especially after discovering all that Saeran has gone through. He'll forgive him for what he did, and he will be determined to help out in any way he can. He may not know Saeran, but he's Saeyoung brother, and that's all he needs to know. We do know that Yoosung is someone who will do everything for those he cares about. And Saeyoung is one of his closest friends.

That said... it's one thing to settle your feelings from the safe distance, and it's completely another to meet with this person again face to face. Yoosung's experience in Magenta was undoubtedly very traumatic. Despite not displaying much of a reaction in the game, he will definitely experience occasional nightmares, at the very least. I do like to think that he works this out in therapy, as he's determined to be the best version of himself, but...

That traumatic experience is still directly linked to Saeran.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, and I think Yoosung is not going to expect the reaction he will experience the first time he sees Saeran again. He's likely to freeze and enter a state of fight or flight. It's not intentional. It's a natural response to a feeling of danger. And it's something his mind and body do on their own. It won't be loud or intense, but it is very much distressing to him. Mc will probably have to put a gentle hand on his shoulder and lead him away. It's important to remind him that there is nothing wrong with what he is feeling, and that he shouldn't be hard on himself for that.

And, Saeran? He has no desire to be around the RFA in the first place. It's not comfortable and awkward. Sure, they may say that they do not hold any grudges against him... But, they are still the very same people he vowed to destroy so many times. Of course he'd feel uneasy and uncomfortable around them. It's a constant reminder of just how meaningless his life was up until this point. A cruel callback to the way he was manipulated, and just how much of a twisted monster he really is. Saeran is always quiet and closed off, but when he's next to the RFA?

It is multiplied tenfold.

And, Yoosung? Well, Yoosung is someone who he directly harmed. In a very sadistic and deliberate way, mind you. Saeran doesn't want to be disrespectful or anything, but his gaze will instantly go to the blind eye the young man has lost because of him. And then, the flashbacks will come rushing in. If Yoosung freezes up and goes into fight or flight mode, then Saeran has a straight up panic attack.

He remembers everything. Every disgusting detail of his actions. The sticky blood coating his fingers and getting under his fingernails, the sight of the whirling body before him as he holds it down without any consideration for its owner, the raging hate and an overwhelming desire to hurt clouding his every waking thought.

It causes him to feel sick to his stomach. I am talking sick enough to throw up. And he probably does.

What happened between Saeran and Yoosung on his route shouldn't be overlooked. The event was both traumatic and violent. It will leave them both with lasting consequences. In Yoosung's case, not only mental, but physical as well. And Saeran will never wipe that metallic smell of blood out of his head. Neither is he going to forget the fact that... really, he did that on his own accord. Nobody told him to harm Yoosung in such a cruel and purposefully sadistic way. He wanted to cause him pain. He wanted to make him scream and tremble from pain.

And, the worst of it all? It's not possible for him to pretend and say he didn't like it. Because he did. At the time, all he wanted was to hurt him.

Saeran already feels like a monster in the SE. I am honestly horrified to imagine how he would feel in this scenario if he ends up shooting V as well.

It's... It's a lot.

For the rest of his life, he will have to live with this. This guilt and knowledge of just what he is really capable of. And he wants to never forget what he did. Yoosung has lost an eye because of him. The least he can do is make sure that he carries some sort of consequence of that unforgivable event with him. It's a way of self-punishment. Not healthy at all.

So... yes, there is going to be a lot of very heavy baggage from both sides here. It's not impossible for them to form a stronger bond, if that's the picture you want to see for your ending. However, it will take a considerable amount of time. I'm talking literal years here. Lots of trial and error. Lots of messy situations and emotional outbursts from both sides. And, of course, therapy.

The thought of both of them coming to a sort of closure with each other is sweet, though. Maybe years down the line, as Saeran has to do a lot of healing and self-discovery of his own. But, it's possible.

So I was watching Mysme videos and falling deeper in love with Saeran by the second and I was watching some story mode content, and 'the savior' was there and she started speaking, and I... physically had to turn the video off, I just felt this visceral rage and hatred; like, they tried really hard to make her a sympathetic villain, and going into it, I actually thought I'd like her, but now? God no. Nuh-uh. Fuck you 'savior,' you hurt way too many characters I care about and god I wish everyone would stop telling me about how great you are in the chatroom that still pisses me off a lot

I think the important question to ask is... Do you mean in a physical fight or an intellectual debate? I think it matters and changes how I would quantify the list. So, with that in mind, I'm going to go with an intellectual debate as that makes the most sense first.

Jumin and Jihyun are the kind of people who love to engage in deep intellectual debates and there's no doubt about that. You can get that from Vyn Richter. I can see them having heavy conversations. I just don't know how far their conversations could go into the night on the matter.

Zen and Rika are almost on the same spectrum here and I feel as though it's because they are notable characters who are very stuck in their ways and will not be swayed no matter how much that man tries to get under their skin. It would be super interesting to watch I'll say that much. I do not think it would end well for anybody.

Saeyoung would probably like to torment Vyn more than he would ever want to debate him. I don't think he would be super comfortable around him, but that's only in part because of Vyn's nature to analyze. You do not analyze him as a person because he doesn't even do that himself. The same can be said for our Vanderwood. Please do not perceive either of them, and because of that, there can be no conversation.

The bottom half of the scale is just because I can't see them being interested in having a conversation with him. At least, not an impassioned intellectual debate. I just don't think they have the energy, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't fall into it. I just don't think they would fall into it often enough to be ranked higher.

Now, if we want to talk about a physical fight that's entirely different.

As you can see from the way this scale is cultivated, it is literally angled in such a way to make sure there is not a shadow of a doubt in anyone's mind those most willing to fight him are those who would not take kindly to being perceived by Vyn. That is literally all it is. As you can see, the ones at the top will not hesitate to SLAM.

A part of me thinks that Zen should be higher but when I think about it a little bit harder, all I can think of is Rika and Saeyoung needing to take the top spots instead.

Vyn is a licensed psychiatrist. He takes great passion in his line of work. He is set up to be somebody who wants to make a difference for others. He wants to know what makes people tick. That's not a bad thing to want to do, and you got to give him credit for being so determined.

I do wish his character was written a little bit better because he is so damn low on my list because of the way he is handled at times, and no matter how much I try to like him, the writing always leaves that sour taste in my mouth. Because, when it comes to the way mental health is often handled in the game, he'll do things or say things that don't fit in with what I would consider to be appropriate in some cases. I want to like him, but he is a victim of some poor writing.
