The upside of having crowfriends is that whenever I'm bored or a bit down or stuck, I'll just be like: "Whelp. Guess I'm going outside and chill with the birds a bit. 🚶‍♀️"

As some may have deduced, I have been having weird neighborhood interactions. People are VERY CONCERNED about people parking on the public street in front of their house or putting a soda can or bagged dog poop in their alley trash can.
I live in a city. I don't know how people are this precious about their alley or curb. It's a fucking city.
I was wondering if it's regional because I'm a transplant here and it wouldn't occur to me to consider street parking or outdoor garbage as "mine".

Uhhhh yeah the Collie blog is going to be dead for like the next two weeks, I've packed up my old Collie magazines and am packing up my newer ones (80s-now) today. 🥲 I'm hoping to have a better set up for them, too, since I'm going to try and turn my new closet into a puppy room 🤞

How to Organize Your Dog Poop Bag Supply for Easy Access
When it comes to being a responsible pet owner, ensuring that you have a well-organized supply of Dog poop bags is essential. Not only does this make your daily walks with your furry friend more enjoyable, but it also contributes to a cleaner environment. In this guide, we’ll explore effective methods to organize your dog poop bag supply, ensuring easy access whenever you need them.
Understanding the Importance of Dog Poop Bags
Dog poop bags are a necessary item for any dog owner. They provide a convenient and hygienic way to dispose of your dog’s waste, which is crucial for maintaining public spaces and protecting the environment. When you’re out and about with your dog, having easy access to poop bags for dogs can prevent last-minute scrambles and help you adhere to leash laws and waste disposal regulations. Furthermore, using Large poop bags for dogs ensures that even the biggest messes can be managed with ease.
Choosing the Right Storage Location
The first step in organizing your dog poop bag supply is to select an appropriate storage location. This will depend on your lifestyle and the areas where you typically walk your dog. Here are a few common places to consider:
Near the Front Door
If you often take your dog for walks right after arriving home, storing your dog poop bags near the front door is a practical choice. You can use a decorative basket, a hanging organizer, or even a small drawer to keep your supplies close at hand.
In the Car
For those who frequently drive to parks or dog-friendly areas, having a stash of poop bags in your car is a smart idea. Consider using a small container or pouch that can be attached to your car’s glove compartment or backseat. This way, you’ll always have access to Poop bags for dogs, no matter where your adventures take you.
In a Designated Dog Walking Bag
Many pet owners find it helpful to have a dedicated dog walking bag that contains all the essentials for outings with their furry friends. This can include water bottles, treats, and, of course, dog poop bags. A specialized bag can also make it easier to keep your supplies organized and accessible.
Organizing Your Dog Poop Bags
Now that you’ve selected a storage location, it’s time to organize your dog poop bags effectively. Here are some pointers to assist you in doing that:
Categorize by Type
If you have different types of dog poop bags, it can be helpful to categorize them. For instance, you might have standard bags for everyday use and larger bags for more significant messes. By organizing them based on size or purpose, you can quickly grab the appropriate bag when needed.
Use a Labeling System
Labeling your storage containers can enhance your organizational system. If you’re using a basket or drawer, consider labeling it with phrases like “Dog Poop Bags” or “Pet Supplies.” This will make it easy for anyone in your household to locate the bags quickly.
Create a Stockpile
It’s always a good idea to have more dog poop bags on hand than you think you’ll need. Establish a stockpile in your designated storage area so you can quickly replenish your supply as needed. This practice will help you avoid running out of bags at inconvenient times, ensuring you’re always prepared for your dog’s needs.
Utilize Dispensers
Investing in a dog poop bag dispenser can streamline your process. These dispensers are designed to hold rolls of bags, making it easy to grab a bag when you need one. Some dispensers even come with clips, allowing you to attach them to your dog’s leash, your walking bag, or your car’s interior.
Establishing a Routine for Refilling
To keep your dog poop bag supply organized and well-stocked, it’s essential to establish a routine for refilling. Here’s how to do it effectively:
Set a Reminder
Consider setting a monthly reminder on your phone to check your dog poop bag supply. This simple step can help you stay on top of your inventory and ensure you never run out.
Replenish After Walks
Make it a habit to refill your storage container or dispensers right after your walks. After you return home, take a moment to check how many bags you used and restock your supplies accordingly. This practice will keep your inventory fresh and ready for future walks.
Consider Subscription Services
If you find yourself frequently running out of dog poop bags, consider subscribing to a delivery service. Many companies offer monthly subscriptions for dog supplies, including poop bags. This can be a convenient way to ensure that you always have a steady supply on hand.
Environmental Considerations
It is imperative that we as conscientious pet owners take the environment into account when making decisions. Many dog poop bags are now made from biodegradable materials, providing a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic bags. When organizing your supply, look for options that minimize your environmental footprint while still being effective for cleaning up after your dog.
Involve the Family
If you live with family members or roommates, it’s a good idea to involve them in the organization process. Teach them about the importance of using dog poop bags and how to restock the supply. This collaborative approach can foster a sense of responsibility and make it easier to maintain an organized system.
Educate Your Kids
If you have children, use the opportunity to educate them about pet ownership responsibilities. Show them how to properly use and dispose of dog poop bags, and encourage them to help with refilling the supply. This not only teaches them about caring for animals but also fosters a sense of responsibility.
Conclusion
Organizing your dog poop bag supply is an essential task for every dog owner. By selecting the right storage location, categorizing your bags, and establishing a routine for refilling, you can ensure easy access whenever you need them. Remember to consider the environmental impact of your choices and involve your family in the process. With these tips, you can make your walks more enjoyable, knowing that you’re prepared for any mess your furry friend might leave behind. So grab those dog poop bags and head out with confidence!

"Let’s talk poop bags”
Tumblr media
Hey paw parents,
I discovered this amazing brand of poop bags. When I tell you the feel, and smell control, is absolutely fab. Yeah, that’s the word FAB! Wild one (dog brand) definitely did their thing with this one. Apparently, it's made of corn starch blend. Making for a super eco-friendly, sleek, & thick poop bag. They're doing the damn thing with this one. Honestly, it was love at first sight, when I saw this product at Target. I had to share this with you guys. Also, yes their bags are biodegradable. Which is amazing for our planet. The color with their minimalist logo pop. It’s so pretty. Here’s a video of my 3 furbabies, & I using this poop bag, as we stroll the dog park.
Till next time!✨🐾🐩

10 Common Items I Find in Recycling That Don't Belong There
Just like the title says, these are some common items I'm finding in recycling that don't belong in recycling.
#1 - car parts - which yes, includes the license plates
#2 - plastic bags full of recycling: if you want to recycle a large number of boxes, break them down and put them in a larger box or PAPER bag
#3 - bags of poop
#4 - just... just plain plastic bags (yes, this includes the ones that say "recycle" on them... they're no longer recyclable)
#5 - furniture
#6 - planks of wood
#7 - pizza boxes
#8 - just any boxes with grease or other food stains
#9 - soda bottles/cans that still have soda in them (PLEASE RINSE THEM IF YOU WISH TO RECYCLE THEM)
#10 - full cans of food (again, RINSE THEM IF YOU WISH TO RECYCLE THEM)
ALSO PLEASE TIE YOUR GABAGE BAGS nothings more annoying than having to move an overly full garbage bag that hasn't been tied off.

Oh gods, maybe? I'd have to wait for the girlies to lay enough eggs to try though. I could definitely make a lot deviled eggs and I like omurice and omelets so I think I'll try going that route? Does french toast count? Cake?
