I have this one idea where their just a sort of puppet master and have strings that they can latch onto ppl and physically move them around, or even mess with memories (the non-passionate/deep seated ones) bc i thought Dazai would like the different ways it could be applied, and Chuuya would think it's badass to watch you just, lower the glowing strings coming out of fingertips attached to like a group of armed enemies and they just like, drop their guns and bow.

Now how do I start with this chaotic relationship...

Chuuya would try to kill Dazai from time to time and you have to be there to stop them because of it 😭

I feel like s/o would toy with their opponents with the use of their ability

Mori had assigned you three on another mission together even though one was already enough since the three of you were strong enough but who knows why he assigned you three on a mission like this

Chuuya would be surprised and amazed at the same time when he first saw your ability with his own eyes, sure he has heard about this ability before but he’s never actually seen it for himself before.

Chuuya thinks that his s/o is so badass when they puppet the enemies, making them bow down and drop all of the weapons carried to the battle.

Dazai on the other hand would not really get surprised since this is his first time actually seeing this ability with his own eyes and not hearing it from some stupid book, but he still knew from the beginning

But when the three of you are all bored and out of missions to carry out, you'll all hangout in a bar to spend some time with each other

It's either one of yall ended up drunk OR you all ended up drunk and passed out in the bar 😭

The three of you will always go out to the mall or on expensive dinner dates

You all share the same apartment and that's where things are starting to get really wild

When getting into bed, there is never peace...The three of you would be kicking each other off the bed and slapping each other in the middle of the night 💔

Chuuya Is the kicker,Dazai is the pusher and you're the one that's suffering 😢

Just imagine this, suddenly you woke up at an ungodly hour because you felt a hand slapping your face just to find out it was Dazai slapping you in his sleep and Chuuya is almost on the floor still dead asleep after a long day in the Port Mafia.

You had enough one night and decided to kick them both off the bed and acted as if you're still asleep 😭

It's legit 4am and suddenly you just kick them off the bed "OW" "what...the..fuck..." *Y/n fake snoring noises*

Besides that when it's really peaceful it's either they're both on a long mission or they're ACTUALLY not kicking or pushing each other off the bed.

The three of you likes to cuddle and fall asleep in each other's warmth

So everything goes normal until Chuuya started to get jealous of Dazai and he took me out on a date and asked me to be his gf! Literally the next day Dazai found out and they had an argument, thankfully not a fight! And it was pretty gay so I was like "Your whole argument sounds gay.." and they looked at me and were like "Maybe we are" and I was like:😶😩 And then they asked me to choose one of them and i was literally like: BOTH😏 And they agreed and now we are dating.. And I managed to do all that with a Chuuya bot in which bio was clearly stated that he hates Dazai and wants to be with us only! I feel so proud of myself rn😌💅🏻💅🏻

synopsis : falling, falling, falling...but don’t you dare fall without me.

Dazai

The tallest building in Yokohama…it used to be Dazai’s favorite place in the whole world. Ever since you came and kicked down the walls surrounding his heart, though, his favorite place began to be wherever you were. 

But you’d been gone on a mission for a week and his dark thoughts were screaming at him, demanding he pay for every wrong he’s committed. They whisper how he doesn’t deserve you, taunt that you won’t come back because you’ve finally realized it too. They were loud and it hurt. 

The familiarity of his being here hurt more than his thoughts. Dazai could only picture your distressed- broken- expression if you came back and were immediately greeted with someone from the agency apologizing and handing you his blood stained coat…

Yet he couldn’t stop his legs from carrying him to the edge (you’d be screaming for him). He couldn’t stop his eyes from taking one last glance at the pretty sky (you would’ve liked the colors). He couldn't stop his body from tipping backwards (you’d be crying because of him).

It was serene- to fall. Dazai almost wished you were falling with him, but he’d never—

“Osamu…”

His eyes snapped open, head whipping to the side to see you. “Belladonna!” Dazai almost reached out for you before he remembered; you had an ability to save yourself. “I’m honored you’d join me.”

You smiled sweetly at him, “What a beautiful double suicide,” 

His eyes widened.

“But it’s not our time, yet, my love.”

Your bodies crashed into a bouncy surface, hands finally shooting out to grasp at each other before one of you bounced right off. Dazai stared at you incredulously, eyes drifting to each of his fellow agency members.

Atsushi helped the two of you down- crying and angrily scolding Dazai- while Kunikida ushered you both to the nearby ambulance “just in case, you still need to get your vitals checked!” 

Leaning against his body, you nuzzled your face into Osamu’s neck, ditching the grey blanket in favor of wrapping him in your arms, “Knew something wasn’t right…came home right away. Local law owed us so we called in all the reinforcements.” 

The demons in his head weren’t talking anymore. The fog had dissipated from his thoughts. You were the only thing that mattered. “Bella…” 

You smiled at him again, “The dark side of you doesn't stand a chance against me. You aren’t dying till I do.”

He chuckled. “Yeah.”

Chuuya

The Port Mafia headquarters was one of the tallest buildings in Yokohama; it radiated power and the control it held within the city. 

But what no one knows is the view from the top is absolutely gorgeous, especially at dusk or dawn. It’s peaceful up there- quiet. 

It was Chuuya’s favorite place to be. There he could just exist. It was the one place he felt free to just let the burdens on his shoulder fall. 

He liked falling. Sometimes he’d be wired up, running and jumping off the ledge, arms out and throat burning with excited yells. Other times he’d be exhausted, stumbling up the stairs to the roof and allowing his body to just tip over. 

Right now, Chuuya was in the middle. He was jumping off the roof with a wild smile, but he was quiet— at peace. 

Or he was. 

“Come here often, pretty boy?” 

Azure eyes widened, darting around to take in the sight of you. Your fond smile and bright eyes. The way your hair blew around. And how you were freefalling beside him. 

He nearly has an aneurysm, fumbling around mid air until he can wrap his arms around you and land, accidentally forming a crater.

Meanwhile, you’re having the time of your life, cackling so loud the entire block could probably hear you over his equally loud curses. 

“What the hell were you thinking?! You could’ve died!” 

You stared at him amused, raising a brow, “s’that so?” Your body lifted itself out of his grasp, hovering a head above him teasingly, “I didn’t realize.” 

He blinks, a sheepish smile crawling up his face. “Right…your ability.” Chuuya tries to scowl, but it just turns out like a pout, “Don’t ever do that again.” 

“I will never jump off a building without you again. Even though I can technically fly.” 

“Smartass.” 

Yet he still kissed you anyway.

Soukoku

You and Chuuya nearly slam into each other, both clutching identical notes with a vice grip. There were no words between you as your bodies began sprinting towards the stairs simultaneously; you knew.

It didn’t take long to scale the stairs, even if there were over 15 flights. Your abilities were practically made for this— your feet didn’t dare touch the ground until you made it to the rooftop. 

No one could deny that Dazai was a good-looking individual, and in the light of dusk, he looked absolutely breathtaking. The wind blew through his hair softly as the orange and pink hues shone in his earthy eyes. It was a serene moment for all the wrong reasons. 

The air nearly left your lungs as you clutched Chuuya’s hand tightly, afraid to even breathe too loud because Dazai’s feet were right at the edge. 

And Chuuya didn’t know how to act, azure eyes wide and teary. “Dazai…” his feet shifted, ready to sprint at a moment's notice, but the peacefulness in Dazai’s smile made him freeze. 

“You two look gorgeous, as always.” Ever the charmer, Dazai just keeps smiling, gazing at both of you like you’d hung the stars above his head together. “My loves…”

“‘Samu.” Your voice cracked, hand reaching out shakily, “Don’t-“ 

He gave a closed eye smile. And then he fell backwards. Yells echoed throughout the air, panicked and desperate, and yet Dazai never felt more at peace. He’d gotten to see both of you before he left...his eyes widened suddenly— 

Chuuya and you had jumped right off the ledge after him, hand in hand, reaching out with your free hands until you could grasp at him. One on his waist, one cupping his cheek. 

“Wh-!” 

You gave a giddy grin, and if not for the tears streaking your face and the wind blowing past you, it almost seemed like a normal day. “We all promised, remember?” 

“Let’s stay together. Forever.” 

Lifting your head off Chuuya’s chest, you crane your neck up to glance at Dazai, frowning at the absentminded stare. “Osamu?” 

Chuuya leaned forward, making enough room between him and Dazai so he could turn his body around, “Where’d that come from?” 

Dazai looked down at you both, grinning at the sight of your bodies crowding his, “Just thinking.” He tugged you in his lap, pulling at Chuuya’s shirt until he was basically in his lap too, “Promise we’ll always be together. The three of us.” 

The red head scoffed, bumping his head against the brunette’s, “As if it was ever even a question. I promise.” 

“I promise! Why would I wanna leave you guys anyway?” your voice was teasing, lips pressing a flurry of kisses against both of their cheeks. 

Dazai laughed, loud and beautiful, “Yeah, I promise, too.” 

Dazai gasped, fingers gripping onto your bodies bruisingly, “No- you can save yourselves, just let go! You can survive with your abilities, you don’t have to die for me!” His voice was panicked and broken, hands now trying to push you back. 

“We’re not dying for you, idiot.” Chuuya smacked at his hand and brought him closer, “We’re dying with you because we aren’t gonna live without you by our side. We fucking promised.” 

The lights in Yokohama seemed to get dimmer as the ground got closer, the sun finally seeking solace out of sight as the stars and moon took over instead. 

“We promised…”

You curled into your boyfriends, “I love you, Osamu. Chuuya.” 

They exchanged their own ‘I love you’s as time finally caught up and the ground was waiting to catch you. 

“Together.” 

“Forever.” 

…the color red was as tragic as it was beautiful.

It was like any other day at the Armed Detective Agency, a lazy brunette was yelled at by a workaholic blond. [ name ] was just writing out his report for the recent cases that Ranpo solved, it doesn’t take long to finish his reports usually. If there wasn’t a sloth-like Osamu and a pissed-off Chuuya on both sides of him, that is.

“Bastard! Just finish your work for god’s sake, and don’t make [ name ] write all of your reports!” Chuuya hissed at Osamu but didn’t feel any different and continued teasing the shorter male.

“Oh but, Chuuya-kun~! [ name-kun ] doesn’t mind writing my reports for me, in fact, I think they quite enjoy it!” Osamu said in a sing-song voice, clasping his hands like a toddler. [ name ] however, did mind… well, sometimes.

“Osamu-kun, please, can you finish your work? I’ll help you if I can after I finish this last report.” [ name ] said, before sighing and leaning back in his office chair as Chuuya glared at Dazai.

“There’s no need. [ name-kun ], he can finish it himself, isn’t that right?” Chuuya says sharply and promptly, leaving no room for second arguments, giving Osamu a death glare that spoke volumes. Osamu sighed as he finally leaned back in his chair, falling on it with a ‘plop’ sound, stretching before placing his fingertips on the work laptop positioned on his desk.

“Fineeee! I’ll finish my work, for [ name-kun ]~” Osamu said as he surprisingly started working swiftly. Chuuya let out a sigh of relief, going back to finish his own reports now as well. [ name ] let out a sigh of relief as well, smiling softly as he watches both of them sit on both sides of him. 

“Well, good luck.” [ name ] says sweetly, giving Osamu a reassuring smile, which he returned with a small kiss on the cheek. [ name ] chuckled quietly to himself, finishing his own work now.

time skip to lunch break.

[ name ] took his usual seat on the first floor of the building, in Café Uzumaki as he waited for the redhead and brunette’s arrival, apparently Kunikida had something to tell the two. [ name ] took a sip of his usual drink, and smiled softly, their beverages were spot on as always. 

As [ name ] was resting peacefully, leaning in his seat, a soft, deep voice echoed in his ears. 

“ [ name-kun ] ! sorry, have we kept you waiting for too long, love?” Chuuya says softly, smiling at him with affection as Osamu swiftly sat beside [ name ], hugging him with his arms around his neck, [ name ] merely smiled at his childish antics, but he knew that these two men were the ones he had loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

“not at all, loves. how was work?” [ name ] said softly, hugging back the brunette as he caressed his hand softly. Chuuya smiled gently, nodding. 

“It was good, we can go home now if you want.” Chuuya said, resting his head on one of his hands as he watched the two interact, despite one being eccentric and one being the opposite, they seemed to get along pretty well when they did; [ name ] let out a small nod before smiling at Osamu with affection, which made him blush and grin cheekily.

[ name ] was sitting on the couch on his back as he scrolled through his phone, waiting for Osamu and Chuuya to finish changing. Osamu came jogging swiftly, jumping on [ name ] as he rests his head on his chest, which made [ name ] gasp softly as Chuuya rested his own head on [ name’s ] shoulder from the other side of the couch. 

“We love you so much, angel…” Chuuya murmurs softly with a tone of huskiness in his ear as he sits down beside [ name ] on the front of the couch. [ name ] blushed and smiled softly, petting and stroking both of their heads as he thinks to himself how lucky he is to have such wonderful angels beside him. Chuuya falls asleep merely seconds after [ name ] starts stroking his hair locks, and Osamu already seems to have dozed off to dreamland.

Hello!!! It's so good to see you again!!! Your poly!skk makes me absolutely feral, I feel like you really nail the vibe.

I like to imagine that, before they meet reader, Chuuya and Dazai have been dating/having sex with other people, but none of them really last long because they can't survive the insanity that's soukoku. Like, soukoku is a relationship that defies conventions and a lot of people can't handle that. Reader can though! The first time they see Chuuya and Dazai together their first thought is 'Oh I can't not fuck them', and it basically seals their fate. Anyone who can handle soukoku together is going to be stuck with them forever.

I can't imagine how many of Dazai's hookups got shooed away by Chuuya (who canonically has all their numbers so there's a group chat somewhere) or alternatively how many of Chuuya's hookups have been woken up the morning after by Dazai breaking in to the apartment and acting like he owns the place. They drive each other up the wall, they're a package deal but will deny it until the day they die. Really the only viable solution is to say "Oh I can't not fuck them", you have to be a little unhinged too to get anywhere with these idiots.

the first time you meet dazai, he was so silly. it was funny, really, he had this charisma that make you want to know more and more about him. even his flirt was funny.

he always had something to say, about how good you looked that day, how he liked the way you did your hair; always complimenting you. he didn't talk a lot about him, specially when you asked about his childhood and those personal questions. it was nice anyways, you knew that not all people wanted to tell everything about them.

he was nice, until he wasn't nice anymore.

chuuya was someone you knew before you meet dazai. he was caring, even if he was in the silent way. like a "i'm not asking if you're okay, but are you okay?" type. he became more open to you with time, of course. it was a relationship he and you appreciate, even if he wasn't saying it all the time.

the way he cared about you was the most sweet thing you have ever seen, you swear. he was a gentleman indeed.

when they saw each other, calling you just at the same time when they saw you on the street, they stoned there for some time.

it get worse after that.

they didn't exactly tell you how they meet before you. the only thing you got from dazai was that chuuya was a kid with some weird abandonment issues or whatever, and chuuya only told you dazai was a suicide bastard. they said they really hate the other, but it doesn't always looks like that.

after that, they were always there. you could see them everywhere. it drive you insane.

you could be talking with one of them and the other wil just suddenly jump out of nowhere.

they started to act possessive, with actions and words. a hand over your shoulder, on you back, suddenly over you, saying that you should spend time with only one of them and always asking who the hell was texting you.

they were so childish that even you got mad at some point. it wasn't like either of them where you boyfriend, so why did they acted like this?

oh, but boy if you shouldn't have to say that.

you were no stupid, but when dazai's words can't be anything but true —compared to your right now devasted self— you have no room to talk. in fact, you don't think you have the words to tell him that he's wrong.

"why do you keep acting like you don't like being here?" he would said. "in reality, you love the fact that you have someone who has control over you. someone who can promise you that you'll be safe and loved forever."

he was awful. no, you don't want this. there's no way you do. but what could you say to him? "no, i very much liked my life before right in the way it was?"

at the start, you run to chuuya for confort. even if you knew that this was a plan made for the two of them, just to make you love them as much as they loved you. he wasn't the one type that just go and try to manipulate you, right?

but you were also wrong about that. he was the worst.

when dazai told you that you asked for it, you could tell that he was trying to manipulate you. even if you always drown yourself in the possibility that you may have asked for it.

but chuuya was so damn sure you loved him. that you truly wanted to stay here, with him and with dazai even.

"don't you love me? there's no way you don't, right?" the way you could see in his eyes pure knowledge. like if he knew everything about you. you almost say you did. because he sounded and looked like he really knew you, in some deep place, did. even you thought "maybe i do". that's how convinced he was.

you go insane fast, with dazai and chuuya always having something to make you doubt of your own thoughts.

you didn't even have time to think about how to scape, nor for trying to know how the heck did they come to terms for "share" you and don't kill each other everytime they start a discussion. and for when you finally realize, it's way too late for that.

they can say you three are in a relationship all they want, but are you really if they never asked if you wanted to be with them? at the end, it's you the one who decides if you just let it happen or fight until the end. though, i don't think fight them would do you any good. you already are one with the chain they put on you.

-What do I think about it, If I were to be honest this is a classic among the fandom. I believe I had seen a couple posts on Tumblr that are actually related to this topic "reader in a Poly Relationship with Atsushi and Ryunosuke (aka Akutagawa)" so now onto the question, I don't have much to say nor am I surprised

-How Canon it is? This isn't really Canon.. not only the both of them hate each other's guts but they consider one another moral enemy and imagining them being in a poly relationship with reader.. is a bit hard to imagine.. unless, the both of them do not know about each other but they do know you're in a poly relationship.. but other than that I don't think this is possible within the Canon version.. but the Fandom can have all the fun they want..

-Would the fandom agree with this? As I said I have found post about this on Tumblr.. I think it's safe to say that the Fandom agrees.. Of course there's certain people that don't, but a lot of them has agreed to the point that there's content found about this on Tumblr and numerous other application

-Is this physically possible? Not really.. because we all understand that Atsushi dislikes Akutagawa for how he handles situations in a cruel manner not only that but he has harmed numerous of his friends which makes him very upset and he has a huge grudge against him.. On the other hand, Akutagawa despise Atsushi not only because he dislikes everyone but is old abusive mentor claims that his new apprentice is superior than him in every way imaginable which makes him very angry to say the least.. and finally the both of them try to kill each other on the regular basis, mostly Akutagawa.. but still.. so no this is not physically possible within this AU

-What is their initial reaction when they discover the other? Is a mix between shocked and hatred.. because the both of them loves you obviously, but they never expected that the other lover you claim to be the other side of the poly relationship is their moral enemy that they despise with all their being... I assume at first they thought they coincidentally came into contact until you told them that's your other lover.. they probably fought ngtl. They both dim each other dangerous so they try to protect you from nothing apparently.. it took them a while to accept it (not that they truly accepted at all)

-Can this relationship happen? Only if the both of them are deeply in love to the point that they cannot imagine a life without you.. then that's probably consideration.. of course the both of them will be extremely jealous of one another and try to steal you most of the time.. but in the end it somehow works out (they still try to kill each other behind your back)

-Would they even get along? Absolutely not.. unless.. Shin Soukoku somehow happens.. but no they do not get along at all.. the both of them would be fighting over simplest things.. such as who would spend the most time with you, who got to speak to you, who got to hug you, who got the cuddle you, ect... Even tho Akutagawa isn't the type to initiate PDA.. Buddy sees your spending way too much time with Atsushi then there will be complications, the same thing goes to atsushi but he likes to initiate PDA..

-How did this relationship come about? You would most likely be a citizen if this would work out.. because the both of them are quite loyal to their workplace and they despise their enemies workplace so that wouldn't work out at all... so I believe that you're most likely a citizen.. You came across the both of them and somehow the relationship started.. It's most likely started because the both of them were not aware of who the other partner within the poly relationship is..

-Generalized, the both of them are very protective when it comes to your well-being.. it is not a secret they will fight all the time but the both of them do care about you.. so they'll try to keep it behind the curtains if it does hurt you to see them fight.. there's almost never a dull moment with them.. they're quite chaotic but not as much as "other poly's" that will be mentioned in the future

-Would I personally write more about this poly relationship? I think I'll certainly write more about this poly relationship.. Not only would be very complex and interesting to write about but also for the readers online (I honestly think that certain people will be interested in this type of relationship) so I personally think that I will write something eventually in an event (perhaps, perhaps not) but at least I know right now I'm interested in continuing writing these sort of things after the fact I completed the 25 post event... (I've only finished one is going to take a while) oh heads up about something I'll be writing (is related but not related at the same time)

Since this is technically the final piece of 25 post event for Atsushi and Akutagawa I'll be moving on to Osamu and Chuuya.. but I thought of another way to make it somewhat faster and more interesting..

Hi, I'm the poly!soukoku anon who brought you 'Dazai barges in on you and Chuuya the morning after your one night stand' and 'Chuuya tries to discourage you from dating Dazai at a bar, but seeing them argue makes you want both of them.' I'm here to bring an alternative scenario: What if Dazai and reader were childhood best friends who lost contact when Dazai joined the mafia? Imagine the chaos that would happen if he walked in on you naked in Chuuya's bed. Or all the inside jokes you make when Chuuya innocently tries to save you from Dazai at the bar. Like, what a way to reunite, right? The childhood best friend of Dazai Osamu is either a saint or just as much of a menace as he is.

Oh what a way to reunite with Dazai after like. A decade of not seeing him. You thought he was dead until after a one night stand with the most gorgeous man you've ever seen you wake up and he's right fucking there, sitting around like he owns the place. Even more confusing Chuuya immediately starts arguing with him like they know each other, he doesn't even bother to get properly dressed! And Dazai doesn't care either!!

The argument gets put on hold when you walk in and ask if it's really Dazai, and he's immediately prancing over and giving you a hug even though you're also not properly dressed. Only to make Chuuya seethe, of course. And he stays for breakfast later, and he steals your phone and puts his number in it (with a heart next to his contact name). Chuuya takes this as graciously as expected, but now that it's apparent you both know Dazai your chances of meeting him again go up drastically.
