Terms for people who are poly in multiple ways
Yeah so recently I've seen terms like triple a (a-a-a), triple bi (bi-bi-bi), triple demi (demi-demi-demi), etc but couldn't find a poly version so I'm doing it myself.
And also note that some of these can be spelled "ply-" instead of poly.
Double poly: When one is poly- in any 2 ways. This could be any combination, such as polyamorous and polygender. Can also be called poly-poly, poly², or poly squared.
(Flag ID: A flag with 3 horizontal stripes. The stripes are purple, red, and dark red-purple.)
Triple poly: When one is poly- in any 3 ways. This could be any combination, such as polysexual, polyromantic and polygender. Can also be called poly-poly-poly, poly³, or poly cubed.
(Flag ID: A flag with 6 horizontal stripes. The stripes are dark gray, gray, light gray, light pink-purple, pink, and pink-purple.)
Multi-poly: When one is poly- in multiple (but not necessarily all) ways. This could be any combination, such as polyromantic, polygender, and polyamorous. Double poly is considered a subset of this. Can also be called Ppoly, polyˣ, or poly multiplied.
(Flag ID: A flag with 5 horizontal stripes. The stripes are teal/blue-green, dark teal, dark gray, dark blue, and light blue-purple.)
Pan-poly: When one is poly- in all ways. This includes polysexua;/romantic/etc, polygender, polyamorous, polypronomial/nomial, and basically anything else that starts with poly-. Has absolutely nothing to do with pan- orientations or genders. Can also be called poly∞ or poly infinity.
(Flag ID: A flag with 7 horizontal stripes. The stripes are pink-purple, purple, blue, orange, yellow-orange, yellow, and green.)
More specific ones for poly- attraction:
Poly-orientated: When one is poly- in all forms of attraction/orientations excluding polyamory. This includes polysexual/romantic/sensual/platonic/alterous/etc.
(Flag ID: A flag with 4 horizontal stripes. The stripes are green-gray, light green, green, and teal.)
Poly-attracted: When one is is poly- in all forms of attraction/orientations including polyamory. Includes the same things as poly-orientated plus polyamorous.
(Flag ID: A flag with 7 horizontal stripes. The stripes are dark purple, purple, blue-purple, light blue, blue-gray, gray, and dark gray.)
Anyway I would've liked to be also be able to coin terms for specific combos like "polysexual/romantic/amorous" "polyamorous/gender" "polysexual/romantic/gender" but I ran out of name ideas sorry.

Pls give me some cute hcs about our lover boys benny and ethan
big wholesome gay type beat
the type of couple to use cuteass mathematic pickup lines
cannot have a serious conversation without benny adding in a “can i poly your nomial?”
ethan shot his shot by giving benny a piece of paper that said “i’m sin2x, so would you be cos2x?“
translated: sin2x and cos2x together make one
luckily benny is big brain and very very very happily accepted
lil nerds
they still play video games n stuff together, of course
them dating is just being besties but added smooches and wandering hands xoxo
can share one chair now while playing COD instead of pretending to want to sit far apart
victory kisses whenever they win a round? absolutely
ethan is a c u d d l e b u g
especially during winter
has never heard of personal space. what is that.
of course Benny “Besitos” Weir doesn’t mind a bit
ethan may seem like a rule-stickler, but when it comes to benny? PDA in all capitals
literally does not care about anything except giving affection to his S/O and that’s on homo periodt x
benny actually invests in chapstick for ethan’s sake
become a burt’s bees and carmex guru
gotta keep his lips soft lmao
they both buy hoodies in mind of each other
ethan will go shopping with his mom and pick out a striped sweater
“oh, honey, that’s not very like your style.”
*cue nervous nodding bc its not actually for him to wear*
ethan doesn’t really support valentine’s day because of its connection to chocolate child labour in foreign countries
but then benny spend 11 hours trying to make him marshmallow cheeto truffles shaped like roses and his heart just melts onto the floor
they’re actually quite good
and he’s impressed that benny didn’t use magic to conjure something up, he really put in effort (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
then obviously ethan has to make something for benny in return on White Day (which they celebrate because they’re giant weebs)
kind of becomes a chocolate war between them
alls fair in love and war! and they have plenty of both

Okay so I can't find the post but I'm a demiboy and I'm pan romantic (also asexual and poly but that's aside the point) but can I still be a pandemic or would I be something else?!
uhm, yes!!! absolutely yes! :D and i guess that since your identity contains several different terms, we could also call you a polynomial pandemic??? eh? eh?
...yeah, that was bad. sorry but all the other “poly-” words i could think of were diseases and uh. didn’t think those would make particularly good puns.

sho-cah-toa: ❣
Send in a ❣ for a random kiss : a blown kiss
“Hey, nerd. I’ve been brushing up on my studies.” Joshua gazes at him over a hitched shoulder, eyes chock full of mischief.
“If you were sin^2x and I was cos^2x, then together we’d make one.” Looking oh so pleased with himself, he blows the former GM a kiss.
“How does that poly your nomial?”

I wish I was your derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves.
My love for you is like a concave up function because it is always increasing.
How can I know so many hundreds of digits of pi and not the 7 digits of your phone number?
I wish I was your second derivative so I could investigate your concavities.
You and I would add up better than a Riemann sum.
Hey baby, what’s your sine?
I need a little help with my Calculus, can you integrate my natural log?
By looking at you I can tell you’re 36-25-36, which by the way are all perfect squares.
You fascinate me more than the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
Are you a 90 degree angle? ‘Cause you are looking right!
My love for you is like pi… never ending.
I’d like to plug my solution into your equation.
Since distance equals velocity times time, let’s let velocity and time approach infinity, because I want to go all the way with you.
I am equivalent to the Empty Set when you are not with me.
I don’t like my current girlfriend. Mind if I do a you-substitution?
I can figure out the square root of any number in less than 10 seconds. What? You don’t believe me? Well, then, let’s try it with your phone number.
Hey, baby want to Squeeze my Theorem while I poly your nomial?
Hey…nice asymptote.
I’m not being obtuse, but you’re acute girl.
I don’t know if you’re in my range, but I’d sure like to take you back to my domain.
Are you a 45 degree angle? Because you’re acute-y.
My love for you is like y=2^x… exponentially growing.
I’ll take you to your limit if you show me your end behavior.
Can I explore your mean value?
The derivative of my love for you is 0, because my love for you is constant.
I’m good at math… let’s add a bed, subtract our clothes, divide your legs, and multiply!
Our love is like dividing by zero… you cannot define it.
If you were a graphics calculator, I’d look at your curves all day long!
I’ve been secant you for a long time.
If I’m sine and you’re cosine, wanna make like a tangent?
Meeting you is like making a switch to polar coordinates: complex and imaginary things are given a magnitude and a direction.
Being without you is like being a metric space in which exists a cauchy sequence that does not converge.
My love for you is a monotonically increasing unbounded function
Omg these were great!!!

Polynomial
Etymology and Definition:
Polynomial in mathematics is a merger of two separate words i.e. poly and nomial. The two words have Greek and Latin etymology respectively. It was initially used as a mathematical term by a French mathematician Francois Vieta in the early 17th century. The word was found in English by a British merchant, nonconformist, antiquary and astrologer Samuel Jeake in 1674. Linguists agree to the fact that the word polynomial comes from poly meaning 'many' and nomial, in this case, meaning 'term.' So effectively polynomial means many terms.
A polynomial can have constants like 5, -46, 3/8, variables like x, y, z and exponents like the 2 in x2 (with the restriction to use only positive integers). Polynomials can have no variable at all, meaning that an exponent can have a value of zero (0). Hence a polynomial may have just one constant term. In this case, '3' or '19' is a polynomial. These constants, variables, and exponents can be combined using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. But the division of a polynomial by a variable is not allowed. Therefore something like 3/y would not be considered as a polynomial. A polynomial may look like this: 5x2y + 7x - 10. Aforementioned polynomial consists of three terms.
Nomenclature:
There are special names for polynomials with 1, 2 or 3 terms. For example '5xy2' is mononomial because it consists of only one term. '3x-4' is a binomial, consisting of two terms. '8x+3y2+6' is a trinomial having three terms. Polynomials with 4 terms are called quadrinomial and quitinomial consisting 5 terms. But these names are not used very often. Polynomials can have as many terms as needed, but can never have an infinite number of terms. When any arithmetic operation is performed on polynomials, they always result in a new polynomial. Also, polynomials are easy to graph and have smooth and continuous lines. The degree of a polynomial with only one variable is the largest exponent of that variable. For instance, '3x4+x-8' has a polynomial degree of '4'. The standard form for writing a polynomial is to put the terms with the highest degree first. For example, considering the polynomial 4x2-8+5x3+x6, the standard form can be written as x6+5x3+4x2-8. It is not essential to always use the standard form in the calculation process but using it makes the simplification task easier and less prone to mathematical errors. A polynomial equation is simply an expression that is set equal to zero.
Real life applications:
Mathematical expressions or polynomials are used by people from all trades of life. Most common users are for sure mathematicians, but they are also used in the fields ranging from economics, biology, material sciences, structural engineering, etc. Even though polynomials provide limited information, they can be utilized in various forms for analyses purposes and to retrieve details. Polynomials can be used to predict trends of a trade market that help in making decisions to make valuable investments. In physics, polynomials are used to model physical laws and quantities such as power, heat, the coefficient of thermal expansion, etc. Since polynomials are employed to describe curves, designers use them to model a roller coaster ride and analyze it for public safety concerns.
