Im doing quite good in the last few days :> Im just a bit anxious cause today we are going to my mom’s bday at some restaurant and Im always worried how I will be treated. I suffered from major medical neglect and to this day a lot of my illnesses are ignored and I dont get understanding that a lot of them are really bad and have huge impact on my life :/ not mentioning that I was never ‘enough’, no matter how much I accomplished, also being treated awful for any not perfect grade and such. One of things that is deeply rooted in my mind is when I got 5 from a small test and instead of being proud of me I heard ‘why not 6?’ idk, cause in primary school max grade on small tests was 5… -,- so having max grade wasnt enough 🤡

hopefully this wont cause me to go back to deeply depressive state

Miałam bardzo mieszane uczucia, co do tego zdjęcia. Zostało wykonane po obfitym deszczu, na boisku przed pracownią fotograficzną, do której chodzę co czwartek. Cała powierzchnia była zalana, a obok wisiała nieświadoma niczego siatka do, I guess, tenisa ziemnego. No i urodziła mi się w głowie taka kompozycja. Spojrzałam na ekranik, stwierdziłam "jest git" i zapomniałam o zdjęciu na parę dni. Gdy wróciłam do niego z nieco świeższą głową nie podobało mi się już tak bardzo, jak wcześniej-bynajmniej nie ze względu na nieustraszoną modelkę, a na sposób, w jaki wykadrowałam całą postać. No i zdjęcie kisło sobie przez tydzień/dwa, aż wczoraj poczułam mały przypływ weny. Nawet nie wiedziałam, że mogłam trochę zatęsknić za fotomanipulacją. HANDMADE SPIRITISMUS / 2019-2021 / ONGOING [excerpt]

A hand signifies the causative powers. It is also involved in making contact – with people, with the environment. When we make something with our own hands, it always has an added value. 

In the tarot, the hands hold the four symbols of the elements that structure our reality.

A spiritual séance begins with creating a circle by touching each other's hands.

The casts of the spirits' hands created during the séances served as evidence, testimony to the presence of such spirits.

According to chiromancy, our life is written on the palm of our hand.

Finally, various rituals require manual actions. Thanks to the involvement of the body, abstract thought is combined with matter.

During the pandemic, the hand became an ominous refrain – a source of infection, disease.

From then on, I started thinking about it even more often.

My aim was to document homemade “rituals” and at the same time to examine modern forms of DIY home esotericism. I wanted to document people's search for structure and meaning in astrology, tarot, spiritualism, numerology and runes. My starting point were the 19th century spiritualistic séances organised in private homes, without a clergyman as an official mediator.

The contact-restricting pandemic inadvertently turned my attention to myself, inwards. I began to follow the subtle signs of esoteric interests that I have developed from my childhood years until now. My handmade spiritual knitting is created using materials from my childhood, an assortment of stationery and five-and-dime shops, nail art items, souvenirs. The project is a record of the beginning of this journey and at the same time a prelude to presenting the stories of others like me.

I woke up from my eternal sleep >XD damn, that heat wave makes me sleep sooo long haha yo pumpkins, lemme come with lil updates ;p so, I drew and printed Patreon print for August, I gonna post photo of it today, cause Im posting it so late this print will be aviable for everyone who gonna be my Patron before middle of September [which means you gonna get both August and September one ;p] I also hope to send June + July prints and traditional originals next week! I had blood test 2 days ago and thankfully I fixed my sugar level! Damn, I was quite close to getting diabetes >.> but I fixed my eating habits so it got better + Im finally losing weight ^^ Im awful picky eater ;p I still dont have proper relationship with food, I almost dont have issues with bulimia anymore but now Im kind starving myself >.> I just dont feel like eating almost at all My mental health improved a lot, my physical health got a bit better too! Its still not perfect but Im super happy Im making progress <3 I also had first therapy appointment, if that lady will have free spots [I told her I can take ANY hour and day >XD] I gonna start it soon <3 Im super excited cause I picked one which is suggested for people with personality disorders, its also online which is cool cause Im not always able to leave home ;p Damn, I feel like my life slowly gets better >XD I didnt expected its even possible ;D like, I can think about my life, plans and goals and I have hope things can get better instead seeing endless void of pain and misfortune.
