Minneapolis
A few days ago, Luke my middle Son, suggested a documentary he had watched.
Its on Youtube... runs about 1 hour 40 minutes if interested. Titled "the Fall of Minneapolis".
It affected him. He couldn't really decide what to think of it, or how it affected him but it did.
This is awesome in my opinion, as any movie/documentary, sci fi, murder, drama.... if it affects you some way, it did its job. Not to many do that any more. Irks me when a highly marketed film gets me nothing more than a soft "oh..."
Patti has a hard time with "sad" movies, and if she knows it will be sad, she won't watch it. Where as I will, because I know it may affect me.
This documentary, deals with corruption within Minneapolis's government, plus some negatives towards the media. All after the George Floyd incident.
I had issues with the incident. The tactic shown on his shoulder/neck looked to be a little ruthless... but I'm no cop. In the photo an officer nondescript looking up, almost into a yawn.
I heard early on an autopsy report he had several drugs in his system, including fentnyl. For what ever reason here in the flatlands that subject seemed to disappear thru the rest of the circus to follow.
....
The media imo, currently is unregulated, and holds no standards to prove credibility. News today, is all about "what sells news". They all copy off each other believing each knows what they are talking about. The days of Cronkite/Huntley/Brinkley telling everyone that eating shit is good for you..... is gone. America believed in these guys, and they were a good solid news source most of the time.
I have to include the company that made this documentary in this group too. As I find very few that are honest real news sources that have no sway with politics or money. I don't know this company, or their work ethic.... so I'm tossing them into this box.
My favorite go to, but hard to just sit down for an hour and listen is "Democracy Now". I've seen it attack Obama, Trump, and other favorite people of hi exposure. Although they are totally a nonprofit news source, there could still easily be a dirty secret. Who is a good neutral news source? I have no idea anymore.
......
This documentary is presented very well, with purpose, and easy to follow. It definitely wasn't a low budget film.
As the documentary unfolds, it starts a few minutes before George Floyds incident. And then shows and translates all body cam videos and audio.
This part was very enlightening. I was very surprised to say the least. This incident from these moments wasn't really dealing with bad cops, but a guy that was out of control.
Once he died, there was an immediate autopsy. This autopsy, within hours became "null and void", as higher ups wanted a different autopsy done by their own person (federal or state, I can't remember).
The 2 autopsy's didn't line up. The second one was vague, compared to a detailed report.
The first one went away, showing way more that could affect the outcome of these cops. It was not permitted by the courts.
Most of the body cam videos were also not permitted by the courts. Many of these videos for some unknown reason were never released to the public for viewing.
Private phone videos were allowed, one notorious one we have all seen, taken by an off duty fire fighter.
Some things that I didn't know: The arresting officer for George Floyd was black. The fire dept. didn't receive correct address from 911 for unknown reasons, thus the 20 minute delay of their arrival for an 8 block drive. The cops called for an ambulance as soon as they got him on the ground.... long before he passed. The "ruthless" hold I commented about before, was an actual move fully recognized and approved by the police department in each of the officers training manuals. The higher ups all denied that that move was allowed (think, the cops were trained to use this move, and it was "ok" to do it). The police department, pretty much let the rioters "have" precinct 34, even though it wasn't in any real jeopardy at that moment of "evacuation".
.......
Ok, so you got the jist. A lot of horrible things came from this incident, all across our country.
This incident presented as it is by this documentary company shows possibility that it actually was completely different than what the media portrayed or the higher ups in the city allowed. This shows that it is so very easy to take video out of context. Much easier than I have ever suspected, and changed my impression from here on out.
.....
I can't believe/understand the agenda of these folks that controlled everything. Are they that ruthless to let all that damage, death, and ruining the careers of good people, just so they look good in the publics eye?
Yeah, I'm leaning towards the direction presented by this documentary. I'm not 100% in, as it is just another news company. But it affected me too, enough I'm still thinking about it today. And yup, thats a good thing.

Two Las Vegas teens accused of fatally running over a retired police chief laughed at each other, smiled, and seemingly flipped off their victim’s family during a court hearing earlier this week.
Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, were back in court on Tuesday more than two months after they allegedly recorded themselves intentionally plowing into Andreas Probst, a 64-year-old retired police chief, who was out on a morning bike ride.
The teens’ antics began when they sat down for the hearing in Clark County court, covering the right side of their faces to hide themselves from the cameras before appearing to cover their mouths to suppress their laughter.
The teens, who were both minors when Probst was killed, were charged with murder and being tried as adults.
Probst’s family slammed the teen’s appalling actions of reportedly flipping them off, saying they “really had no remorse.”
“How can you sit there after taking a man’s life, and act like such an entitled p—k? Taylor Probst, Andreas’ 27-year-old daughter told reporters outside the courthouse. “They really had no remorse, that this is just a game to them.”
Ayala’s public defender, David Westbrook also appeared to be laughing alongside the teen in the courtroom on Tuesday, video from KTNV shows.

Westbrook expressed his frustration with the release of the body cam footage, saying he should be able to see it before the media, which obtained the video through a public records request.
The public defender also said he is concerned about finding fair jurors for the case because of the viral media attention, which angered Probst’s widow.
“It was your people who put it in the media first, your clients are the ones that put that on social media,” Crystal Probst said, referring to the in-car view of the horrific August killing.
“They were just trying to mad dog us and intimidate us which didn’t work,” Taylor Probst added.

Crystal Probst, wearing her late husband’s damaged Apple Watch, remained unfazed by the boy’s intimidation tactics.
“It just makes him look bad,” she told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, saying Ayala pointed his middle finger towards her.
During his initial arrest on Aug. 14, Ayala told cops he would be released from jail in a month.

“You think this juvenile [expletive] is gonna do some [expletive]? I’ll be out in 30 days, I’ll bet you,” Ayala told officers after he was arrested in Sept.
In body cam footage released Monday, the 18-year-old questioned the officer if the crash was “really that serious.”
“Is it really that serious, like for real, over supposedly me crashing a car?” Ayala asked the officer transporting him following his arrest.
Probst widow, Crystal, said she was unfazed by the boy’s intimidation tactics during Tuesday’s court hearing.KTNV/YouTube
“You think I’m gonna come out on the news?” Ayala later asked the officer.
“It won’t be for anything good, it won’t make your mama proud,” the officer responded.
Ayala’s mother has made headlines herself, saying she didn’t understand why her son did what he did.
“I don’t know why he did this,” Ayala said. “I don’t know if God can forgive this.”
Crystal Probst wore her late husband’s damaged Apple Watch.KTNV/YouTube
Taylor Probst blames Ayala’s and Key’s family as the main people who failed the teens.
“A multitude of different people failed, but I think ultimately the parents on all ends. They’re the ones that failed.”

my new youtube hyperfixation is watching cop body cam footage of people being stupid (genuinely stupid and rude to everyone) and watching them realize they've broken the law
considering i'm taking a criminal justice class this term, watching these videos has actually helped me with some of my projects, and i've been able to cite certain cases that have been shown, to show how Americans have misconceptions about what their rights are + how police officers need to "bridge the gap within the community".
shits wild, but interesting.
still terrified of cops tho. they scary af.

july 17, 2023
quick recap of last 10 days: saturday, july 8: brunch with amy. cried. facetime therapy with kelda. cried. lorena’s bday surprise. held it together. reyna was kind enough to invite me and 7 of her friends/plus ones and we surprised lorena for her bday/welcome home at a localish bar. i held back tears but tried to engage as much as i could. limited success.
friday, july 9: dinner with steven. we cooked meats; he was particularly fond of the pork jowl, thankfully, as i had a whole package of it. he brought some soju and some other plum wine drink and he listened to me cry and was a good friend and promised that we’d see each other on wednesdays when we were both in office. sunday, july 10: considered going to church but then just slept and stared at my phone all day. tuesday, july 11: met up lorena at BJ’s for some happy hour beers and mini pizza. saw my waitress crush. cried a little.
saturday, july 15: managed to leave the condo to go hang out with amy at her house for a few hours, maybe like 1:10pm-4:30pm. we caught up and i tried to engage with her kids but they’re kinda tiring and didn’t seem particularly interested in engaging with me either. left to go to the pacoima costco where i got gas, toilet paper, eggs, and bottled water, and had my toilet paper and eggs stolen out of my cart while i put condiments on my hotdog. costco quickly replenished my stolen goods when notified, but it made me pretty sad and disappointed with the state of the world. sunday, july 16: slept for 12 hours. stared at my phone for 12 hours. ate a frozen pizza and then puked up some of it at night. monday, july 17: tiny tiny steps. texted amy and tracy throughout the day. chatted with lana for a bit on teams. tried to do a little work. did a few loads of dishes, and took out some trash and recycling. was able to walk to ralphs and buy a few items: items for cauliflower dip, a gallon of vinegar so i can clean some things. an onion. made some cauliflower dip, rinsed the cauliflower, and ate some cauliflower (health). also talked to rhiannon for a bit as we laid out our camping plans (for this friday-sunday), read a chapter in my book on borderline personality disorder, and now am journaling, so today was my most productive day in a week.
it’s such a weird sensation to feel ... so heavy, so unmotivated, so listless, so bored. the only thing i kinda appreciate is eating. like i enjoy craving a food and then thinking of how i can like satisfy said craving. i went back and forth with tracy last week on pizzas, and really considered going someplace to satisfy my desire for pizza, but laziness and cheapness caught up with me so i ended up getting two reduced/clearance frozen pizzas at ralphs and eating them over the next three days and they were gross and made me feel terrible. but sometimes i’ll think mm, prime rib sounds good. hwedupbap sounds good. i haven’t gotten as far as acquiring said foods, but it’s nice to at least have desire, in any form.
another weird thing is how i’ve gotten so addicted to my phone, even though nothing in/on my phone particularly entertains me. but it’s like i can’t tear my eyes away. FORTUNATELY i’ve stopped watching police body cam and otherwise shaming videos on the youtube and started watching more “Try Guys” and like the hot wings eating challenges. i find myself watching a lot of clips from The Office, Parks and Rec, Friends, the Big Bang Theory, and weirdly Young Sheldon (all this just pops up on facebook and i just watch.) i guess it’s a positive development that at least my mind is gravitating more toward light things rather than the worst of humanity. i should be receiving my DVD’s this wednesday so i can more mindfully tune into my tv shows.
i feel like i’m at the bottom of a very big hill. a mountain, i guess. every step is hard and feels heavy and the mountain seems very big and unsurmountable and i kind of don’t quite get why i even have to climb it, but i do for some reason. i know i need to “do the work.” i know i need to figure this out, somehow, for some reason. i guess. finding motivation is hard. but every minute spent not staring at my phone i guess is a tiny tiny victory. i know that i need to stop sleeping away my problems and stop wasting away my life, but ... but it feels so hard. tracy asked today, whether i might not benefit from a healthy diet and exercise? granted, i can see how eating frozen pizzas and sleeping all day long would Not benefit me in the long run, but it’s just kinda wild how when you’re as depressed as i am, that literally feels like the only thing i’m capable of. and though i can understand conceptually how a walk might feel good, or getting groceries to make a nutritious meal might benefit me, it’s soooo stupidly hard to just get any momentum whatsoever.
i hope today was momentum.
week ahead: tuesday: hoping to do a little laundry and gather up some items for the camping trip. wednesday: in office. thursday: happy hour with danielle friday - sunday: camping in french camp with rhiannon
i’m mildly dreading camping because it’s been so hot lately, and sometimes it’s hard to do things, like meal prep or clean up, and i’m a little nervous that i won’t have fun because of the way i’ve been feeling lately and i don’t want to sort of ruin one of the only things that’ve made me feel better in my life, but also, i’m telling myself that it’ll be good to be out in nature, to not stare at my phone, to focus on something outside of myself. i’ll bring a couple books and try to do some fishing. i hope it’ll be okay.

Jacques’ The Boys verse and....... porn.
It’s no secret that Jacques does porn and that he loves it. Sure, it has caused people to question everything about his character which can be hard to deal with, but who gives a shit when others desire him?! Anyway. He started out in his late teens just for kicks. He knew he looked good, he had a big dick, and he was fucking stupid, so why not. He stayed anonymous to not risk getting shamed into oblivion and have no chance at a normal career. Sites like pornhub was the go-to, and he’s been using the name Magnifiquiqui since forever. He also frequently used cam sites. It was mostly solo stuff with toys, but incorporated partners both male and female as he got older. A versatile and silly twink.
Jacques worked as a police officer and within other types of security, so he has managed pretty well to keep the normal job and the side hustle separate. He dabbled in other types of sex work too just to try it, not because he needed it. For the chaos.
Eventually he showed his face and still stayed out of trouble. He did more modeling for fun. OnlyFans became a thing and he had a strong presence on social media. He grew into the role of an adult entertainer and began to look for agencies. But actually getting work within porn as a dude and getting hired is fucking hard.
And then he got leukemia and was going to die, and disappeared from the scene and internet for months 🙃 So he got the compound V in the adult trials, and we know how that went. The V and the cancer cells got some crazy kind of reaction and he officially became an actual monster. Death would have been better because who in their right mind would want him now?!
Turns out a lot of people still wanted him, actually, as he found out. People are freaks. Embracing his new self instead of rejecting it, he went back into porn and was dedicated to it. He could now do the genre of supe porn and work for supe sites. It made it easier to finally get an agent and get hired. He used his real name this time. Anyone can look you up anyway these days.
While he still does your regular porn with men and women, solo, gangbangs, some kink, yada yada, the focus is probably supe porn. In Jacques’ case, incredibly niched porn, considering it’s body horror based. He’s got “tentacles” to fuck others with or restrain them with. He can crack open wherever on his body so someone could fuck an organ. One could watch stuff move inside him. Face fucking by just throwing up intestine-looking tentacles. Partial vore. He can hulk out to 10000 % for true monster fucker porn. It’s sick and crazy and there are people out there who love it.
His free content is kind of the same as the paywall ones. Just much shorter, and the good stuff is cut out. Sometimes he streams live where users get to tell him what to do or even control a fucking machine. He does nsfw reaction videos to other people’s porn, and to his own material. He of course has a strong social media presence once again, and creates content both for Tiktok and Youtube.
Between being an actor and a model, he has picked up skills in being behind the camera too to earn extra money. He might have a gross ability that makes him unique, but he’s still a man. Men just don’t get paid as much as women.
He could get some other type of job. He doesn’t want to. He loves his job and navigates the risks and abusers to the best of his ability. He gets to challenge himself physically and mentally. A lot of friends already left him when he was dying so there weren’t many of them left anyway, but he’s made new ones. His father doesn’t like to talk about his job, but his mother has turned out to be his biggest supporter and congratulates him excitedly when he’s won an award. Not all moms brag about their son winning best anal, but she does.

(image description - an angry pig dressed as a police officer waving a gun and baton, surrounded by slimy speech bubbles that say “I’m just following orders!” “It’s the law!” “My body-cam turned off by itself, I swear!” “It was self defense!” “Paid administrative leave is punishment, right?” and “He was resisting arrest!” Above the cop is text that says “The system needs to change!” and underneath is text that says “’All lives matter’ isn’t true until black lives matter. Police need to be held accountable for their crimes! Who do we call when the police get away with murder?”)
