Francis is a man who lives for the glitz and glamor of life, partly due to his upbringing. He has been wealthy since birth as the Bonnefoys had been the leading family in Grand Festivals, so he had also grown up watching Pokemon coordinators and showcases. He was a model for some time while participating in Pokemon Contests and winning several Grand Festival titles. While he still regularly performs in Contests, he is active in competitive battling and earning the title of one of the best trainers in all of Kalos. He admittedly had no interest in battling once, viewing it as barbaric. But his longtime childhood friend and rival, Arthur, had started battling soon after getting his Pokemon and had taunted Francis, saying he was incapable of doing the same as he was too weak and feminine. Angered, Francis set out to prove him wrong, participating in the Final Test too and becoming a trainer. His reputation as a Bonnefoy means he is still regarded as spoiled and weak, but he continuously proves them wrong in every battle. He is also an Elite Four member alongside Alfred, Arthur, and Yao, and is in the Pokemon Hall of Fame with the record of having won the most battles. This is due to his own skills and the fact that Arthur's mocking words have been fueling him in every battle. He is a Pokemon Coordinator for Astral in the future, working alongside the rest of his (former) group but in the entertainment sector. His parents are successful but neglect him in favor of their work, so Francis gladly welcomes the chaos of the Kirkland family and often spends his time with them instead of in his own house.

Note:

The Astral Institute handles everything Pokemon-related, from battles and championships to Grand Festivals and showcases to Pokemon Centers. There are different sectors (technology, literature, entertainment, medical, etc.) Alfred is in the tech sector, Arthur is in literature, and Yao is in medical. There are various professions in each, such as coordinators, researchers, journalists, and professors.

Update 3

Hey guys mun again! I decided to show ya’ll a list of whats being worked on right now and why its taking long. To be honest though the main reason things are taking so long is because I’m trying to get myself comfortable with drawing people again, I spent such a long break from it that its not fitting right! I wanna make sure at least I’m happy with how I’m drawing before I can put it out to you guys! Anyways, list below, loveya’ll!

1) Big world overhaul/ making it more like an au to actual pokemon cannon!

    A. More variation in looks to pokemon(markings, varients, hybrids)

    B. Mun is looking into egg groups to expand on A

    C. Not all pokemon will have eggs in this au, one you would expect to have live birth will

2) Team swap arounds

    A. I’m changing most of Francis’spersonal team up, not sure whos staying and whos not right now though

    B. I have to figure out what pokemon Ivan is going to have

The long-awaited Nyotalia sets are here! This universe has very few differences from the main one aside of the presence of mega evolutions (note Nyo!America's Mega Pidegot!). I'm unfortunately not that well versed into the Nyotalia scene so I didn't get that creative with the names but I hope no one minds. You can find more sets and info about the AU here. Amelia is a high-spirited woman with big ambitions. She is always on the go, looking for her next chance to grow and shine. It’s not unusual for her to be in New York one day and in Rome the next. She never dwells on losses for very long because she’s already actively looking for her next big challenge. Like her male counterpart, she specializes in Electric and Flying-types and dreams of being a Gym Leader or an Elite Four member.

Rose is a cool and calculated woman, both in life and on the battlefield. Growing up, she wanted to be Pokemon nurse just like her mother, even volunteering her time at Pokemon Centers in her hometown to gain some experience in the field. During her studies however she discovered her strength in battling and chose to pursue that route instead and becoming one of England’s best trainers. She does not have an ultimate goal in mind; she is not interested in becoming a Gym Leader or an Elite Four member. She merely wants to learn everything that battling can offer and see the world with her own eyes. Rose specializes in Fairy-types.

While she still regularly performs in Contests, she is active in competitive battling and earning the title as one of the best trainers in all of France. She is actively curious about Pokemon Styling and fashion and is eager to find her place and learn from her idols.

Nyo!Russia Name: Anya Braginskaya Age: 29 Specialty: N/A Main Team: Froslass, Tsareena, Drifblim, Cryogonal, Gourgiest, Mimikyu In Rotation: Sunflora, Abomasnow, Gastrodon (West) Not Used For Battle: Cubchoo

Anya’s character may seem friendly and laid-back however she shows no mercy in battles. She only teaches her Pokemon the strongest moves possible and leaves very little room for her opponents to fight back. Anya has been perfecting her battle skills since she was a kid and has respectively earned her title as one of the best in all of Russia. Between her and her two brothers, she is the strongest of the siblings. Though she does not specialize in any specific type, she favours Ice and Ghost-types.

Nyo!China Name: Wang Chun-Yan Age: N/A Specialty: N/A Main Team: Meinshao, Venomoth, Musharna, Dragalge, Delphox, Shiinotic In Rotation: Sawk, Simisear, Parasect, Ambipom Not Used For Battle: Pancham (x2)

Chun-Yan has been on the battle scene for what feels like ages for many of her fans and has appeared in countless ads and photo-shoots all over China. Despite that however much of her life is very private. No one knows how old she really is or where she even came from. She has been offered opportunities to join the ranks of Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, even outside her own country, but has denied them each time to continue living her on her own terms. She very seldom leaves Asia for competitions and therefore is more of a continental name rather than a global one. Despite this, she is considered to be one of the best in China.
