what would members of the solosis line with drifblim fathers look like?

Pokemon Crossbreeds: Respiration

Respiration is the name for members of the Solosis line whose fathers were Driffloon/Drifblim. The breed got its name from the process or cellular respiration, which is when Oxygen in cells is used to make sugar. The breed is known for their melancholic personalities and their quietness. They were bred for their higher HP and their ability to learn Acid Armor.

Solosis

Respirative Solosis have a rounder shape and an X on their mouth instead of a diamond shape. The thing on their head becomes cloud shaped instead. These Solosis are quiet, and because of their nature, they've been nicknamed drifters. While they aren't ghost types, there are legends of this breed having spirits trapped in their jelly, waiting for them to get out.

Duosion

Respirative Duosion gain the traits if Drifblim, including sharper limbs, lighter colored underbellies, and lines on their bodies. There is also a 50% chance they can be born with red eyes instead of black, but I'm sticking with showing the black-eyed ones here. They have more oxygen inside of them than standard Duosion, and releasing it is how they are able to move around faster (sometimes it can sound like a fart and it gets old when you're supposed to teach about these things to first graders for a project). They're more active at evening.

Reuniclus

Respirative Reuniclus keep the X and markings of Drifblim, but the air that would float above them is now atop their head. Instead of the usual circles inside of Reuniclus, they gain little hearts that match the ones of Driffloon. The most notable change is their second pair of arms that resemble Drifblim's tentacles. These Solosis use their extra pair of tentacles to aid them in battle and help them with other simple tasks, making them useful service pokemon for paralyzed people. Like they're fathers, they're crepescular and travel in groups.

Solosis was super easy to draw, but I was confused about coloring. I kept wondering whether purple would be too much or if green wasn't enough. Eventually, I just settled on keeping it green.

Duosion was fun. I already like Drifblim a lot so it was fun making a pokemon crossed with it. Got inspiration from a basketball with the lines, lol. Had mixed opinions on the red eyes but I decided to stick to black when showing drawings though. I have what it looks like with red eyes though if anyone wants it

Reuniclus was the hardest, and I'm using thst lightly bcuz I didn't struggle much. It was more just sitting there and wondering if I should draw the arms downwards or keep them up. Wondered about the ears, but I just decided to move them so the air could fit. Wasn't going to give it hearts, but Driffloon has hearts, and I thought they looked cute, so I left them.

my @dapplewood trainer id! since Moss isnt registered as a trainer, theyre not stuck to the limit of 6 at a time, which is particularly helpful when half your team is service and support pokemon.

info about Moss and their team below the cut!

Moss struggles to find much in terms of actual work but does enjoy dabbling in various professions and hobbies! He has a cookbook collection, about a dozen yarn spools laying about, a clay modeling kit and woodworking station, isnt afraid to shy away from hard labour, and is all the more willing to help out if called apon dispite their reclusive tendacies. All in all when brough out of their shell of a home, Moss can be pretty friendly once he warms up to you!

If one would be invited over theyd notice a bunch of various hobby supplies strewn about, several blankets and cushions piled onto the couch, a couple runner wheels and many enrichment toys for the pokemon, small berry bushes grown and kept bonsai style, and mayhaps even catch Blaze or Pyre in the kitchen helping to bake something or prepare some pokebiscuits!

Team Funfacts!

Blaze was Moss's starter while Pyre was an unexpected bonus (they were twins!)

The typhlosions, Blaze and Pyre, are Moss's main supportive service pokemon out of the team due to their range of motion and abilities! They often stay at home as Moss rarely ventures out but they dont mind leaving in order to assist when needed.

Legs the scolipede is Moss's main ride pokemon as Moss does have issues getting around, thoigh it is not uncommon to see them being hefted around by one of the typhlosions if the day suddenly takes a turn.

Dusk is mainly trained for fall support and thus hangs around Moss, though its totally also definatwly a coicidence that they just so happen to enjoy treats and have such persuasive puppy dog eyes.

Cloth, Pie, and Pudding are general pet pokemon, and like to hang out around the house, though Cloth enjoys using their hands to help grab and hold things.

Pudding is Moss's prized mon, having pushed themselves decently hard to find a shiny goomy rather than breeding one and inflating the population.

Nectar is slowly on their way to evolving into a noivern and is by far the most protective our of the group. generally pretty chill but very observant of their surroundings and not afraid to bite if they deem it needed. They are not being actively trained but are getting experience and leveling regardless via their nightly hunts for food and various enrichment activities around rhe house

Blaze, Pyre, and Cloth like to snuggle on the bed dispite taking up most of it, Legs and Dusk prefer the floor, Pie tends to sleep in a fruitbowl thats been modified into a pokebed, Pudding sleeps in various different spots around the house, and Nectar has a perch they hang from.

what happens with the family espurr's that don't live up to the high standards?

Hm, you know what, let me explain the process of how someone in the family is given an Espurr before explaining what happens to the Espurrs that dont hold up to the high standard because I will admit the family has high standards

It is tradition to receive one of the kits of your parents Meowstic— I will be receiving the kit of my fathers Meowstic, Devlin.

The Espurr kits, once they are old enough, will then receive training such as getting them use to grooming and anything that could set them off. The Espurrs also get trained in how to assist their future trainer, somewhat similar to a service Pokemon but not quite, I suppose they could also be compared to a handmaiden or butler Pokemon. They are taught how to help keep things tidy, to retrieve items when asked, etc.

A childs family will then choose which Espurr they believe is a proper fit for their child and then said child will receive the Espurr as their first Pokemon. The age of the Espurr tends to vary depending on the age of the litter, some in the family may receive an Espurr that is five years old while some may receive one that is only two years old.

Now, onto the Espurrs that do not “make the cut”.

What tends to happen with these Espurrs that they stay at whatever estate or property they were born at (though sometimes they may be moved depending on things) and will simply just get to live their lives there. They may be used for breeding if their attitudes and genetics line up to what we wish to continue with that family line as well.

I do believe it is important to note that we also breed non-Wyrmwood Meowstics, it is important to introduce fresh genetics into the pool at any opportunity.

But anyways, nothing is really done to the ones who don’t make the cut. They simply get to live on the properties, being tended to and cared for by the family and workers. They do often try and help in turn though, since they were trained to be little helpers.

Where in the Pokedex says that Mienfoo can sense aura?

What about other mons that could be emotional support or service Mon? Such as Audino, The ralts-gardevoir line, minccino, Indeedee, Espeon/Sylveon, skitty line, altaria, togekiss, male mewostic, gothita line, and minun and plusle?

If that's too much mons to answer what about Crossbreeding Mons pairing that would be possible/work?

These are excellent questions, and while I could go on and on about each pokemkn and how helpful they can be, we would end up repeating so many points, and you'd start to see the patterns.

Instead, let me say that all of these pokemon can be incredibly helpful for healthcare, personal care, and many other assisted living situations.

However, you did bring up an interesting topic.

Pokemon can be bred with each other from different species so long as they are in a similar egg group.

The resulting pokemon might have physical or internal traits of both parent pokemon, in a grouping we like to call, Crossbreeds.

While it happens all of the time, there's a big difference between natural occurrences and selective breeding for these traits.

Due to over breeding and manufactured occurrences of this and the unethical practices it brings, we really look down on forced and purposeful breeding from unlicensed people.

Breeding is more than gaining new abilities and power, as well as testing to see what is possible.

The life of a new creation is involved, and the ethics of trying to breed the "perfect" pokemon are very clear.

Thankfully, we have worked hard to keep breeding to professionals and under strict guidelines.

However, that isn't to say that two pokemon breeding and creating a crossbreed or offspring that could perform the tasks of both parental pokemon would be a negative thing either.

Let's pretend that a pokemon was born that could sense Aura and could read and communicate telepathically to humans in perfect speech.

You would have a pokemon that could be in complete control of a person's health conditions and prevent some serious issues.

However, we shouldn't be manipulating these conditions for our convinces, as pokemon are living creatures as well and deserve to live as they see fit.

It's a pretty big topic, and one I'm pretty passoniate about.

Of course I'll gladly talk more about it if asked.

And finding Lullay was a happy accident!! I mentioned in a post way back but i love telling the story again.

I found Lullay as a really sick Drowzee hiding in the bushes near my family's property line when i was young. Turns out, our neighbor at the time was running a SUPER Illegal breeding mill (west Unova having a very delicste ecosystem and all, this guy was breeding pokemon that were invasive to the area) and breeding not only for shinies to sell for thousands, but also other obscure-but-sought-after traits. Lullay for example actually still has a ribbed nose like she did as a Drowzee, instead of a smooth nose that other Hypno have.

I asked Dad in the sweetest "please ive been good about chores and also i got an A on my test" voice i could if I could keep her, and he said and I quote "don't get attatched, we'll take it to the Pokemon Center to see if it dies or not"

And welp! She didn't die! And bounced back better than ever!!! And I've had her ever since!!!!!

From the jump she wasn't much of a battler, and it was about the time I graduated Elementary school that I started developing some pretty bad social anxiety, so I worked with Professor Juniper to train Lullay to be more of a support 'mon. Her Hypnosis can not only put me to sleep, but also if she sends the waves out in smaller doses it kinda chills me out so I'm not worrying so much. It's really interesting, the amount of stuff a Pokemon is capable of! We also trained her with grounding techniques (like laying on me and holding my hands if i start to panic, singing/trilling to soothe me to sleep, etc)

I've had tons of people come up and ask me why I don't have a more conventional therapy 'mon like a Sylveon or an Absol, and the answer is: a Sylveon or an Absol wasn't the one that got stuck in my property fence :D

theyre like any other breeders. there are ethical ones and there are really shitty ones. i dont like the shitty ones for obvious reasons.

if someone has the time, space, and finances to be a shiny breeder and its something they genuinely enjoy alongside the pokemon they breed being happy and healthy i dont really see much of an issue?

also shiny breeders also provide the same service as normal breeders because they would end up with non-shinies from breeding and go about finding them owners/trainers in the same manner typical breeders do. they just tend to aim for getting shinies for clients who requested smth specific and stuff like that.

so pretty much: ethical shiny breeders exist but so do shit ones. just like normal breeders.

Ingo was oddly cute.

It was a strange thought that occurred to you as you watched the Warden eat the candy you had offered him. It was obvious sugar was not his favourite thing, but he needed an energy boost if the heavy dark circles under his eyes were any indication. He had politely thanked you and tipped his hat at you before heading back to help Zisu continue training the Security Corps.

You had fallen for him long before you both ended up in this foreign land of the past. Back in Unova, the talkative and reassuring Subway Boss had caught your attention, despite how off-putting his stoic expression could be. It took many long attempts at the Battle Lines and chance encounters on the passenger lines to finally grow close enough with him to manage to speak with him outside normal battle or service related topics.

Getting him to meet him on his time away from his job had been an experience, with how he carried himself with the same tense posture yet more relaxed clothing. You found yourself utterly fascinated with him. His conversations about his brother's rampant spider breeding having forced him to overcome his arachnophobia or his deep love for his team as pets, too. Him having to work so hard to care for his needy Drillbur, now an Excadrill was sweet. The way he took in a poor Litwick from getting left out in the rain when he was still a boy led to his admittedly terrifying Chandelure also entertained you.

You had both grown to share romantic feelings for one another not long after. Ingo bravely declaring his feelings after being encouraged by both his brother and friend. There was no way you would let such a sweet man pass you by, so you said yes. This led to a discovery about his nervousness to touch. While he seemingly was fine with his younger twin hanging off near constantly, his apprehension towards touch was obvious.

You had broken this bravely by pulling him into a hug after being overjoyed by a dinner that he had surprised you with. At first, he stood frozen and wide-eyed before slowly coming to bring his arms around you. The hug probably lasted a bit too long and was a tad awkward for anyone watching (his pokemon), but you enjoyed it dearly.

It was after that in which he truly became affectionate toward you. Soft grasps at your hands while together in public, or sweet kisses pressed to your cheek when he believed no one was looking. In private, he often spent evenings in with you cuddled up on the couch. He fell oddly silent in those moments, happy to just be with you.

Of course, everything had since been reset in Hisui.

Ingo was back to being uncomfortable with physical touch and had no true idea who you are. A small remark about familiarity did not go far enough to make a connection in his head.

You felt at a crossroads. Telling him who you were risked stressing him out with his past, yet not telling him left you feeling distant and alone. You desperately wished that you could just close your eyes and end up back home to the day he disappeared. Instead of waiting for a door that never opened, Ingo walked in and told you about a strange occurrence that had ultimately led to nothing. You would eat dinner together and cuddle on the couch, afterwards.

That would never happen, however.

You sat down on the ground of the highlands, having grown tired from reading over the confusing runes imprinted onto a stone wall. Volo had offered his help but had apparently been caught up in other things for a moment. Something about him had seemed off as of late, but you supposed that could have just been how you were reflecting on to everyone.

“… The sun is beginning to set,” a certain firm voice called out from a nearby cliff. You refused to gaze up from the dirt. When you had left the village earlier, you had expected him to be there overnight, helping Zisu. Sneasler's cry rang out as the song of claws digging against solid stone followed. Steps approached you carefully. “You are not hurt, are you?” Ingo kneeled down to your level, “… Are… Are you crying?”

You bit your lip. Somewhere between reflecting on your past and having him as he currently was like prickly vines wrapped around you. You wanted your Ingo to hold you again and reassure you. Maybe he would explain to you about what made a certain train system in Hoenn so special with the fuel it ran on. “… 'M fine…” you managed to get out, “I… I miss my boyfriend…”

Ingo nodded. Another hiccup came from you. “What was he like?” the Warden asked, moving to sit beside you, while careful to leave some space.

“He is the sweetest man I know,” you felt stupid telling him this, “He didn't smile a lot, but you could always tell he was happy. I liked doing things to try to break his stoic streak…” Thoughts about all the times you had managed to get him to fall into his goofy, small grin raced in your head. “… I got him this model train set from Kanto when I visited there for work, and he just stared at me with pure love in his eyes,” you recalled a certain memory with a light smile to contrast the wetness in your eyes, “I hope it's okay, right now. He can't take care of it and neither can I, right now…”

Ingo was silent for a moment, staring out into the scenery blankly. You wondered if he was alright for a moment. “… It was a bright silver, wasn't it?” he asked suddenly, “It had black sidings, too. You said…” His eyes squeezed shut. Your blood froze in your veins. Neither of you dared to move.

“You said it made you think of me…”

“I did,” you felt mortified. How did the jog his memory? You were not ready for that discussion in any way, shape, or form. He turned to you, gently laying his hand, now calloused and scarred, over yours. His eyes filled with a certain tenderness.

“I… I'm sorry,” he spoke softly, “I can't imagine how difficult it has been for you to have someone so close to you nearby yet have them not know you…” You shook your head. Feeling rushed over your head, making you dizzy and tired. Still, you moved to embrace him. His body was harder now, toughened up from Hisui.

“… I could have told you at any time,” you corrected him, “Don't blame yourself.” His arms came around you, slowly pressing your head to his chest. Warmth radiated from him.

“I'm not,” he argued lightly, “… I have been a bad lover…” You glared up at him. He shrank back a bit. Sighing, you noticed that the sun was truly beginning to fall behind the cliffs of the highlands now.

“Well, you want to make it up to me,” you decided to tease him, “Let's stay the night at your place.” His face turned a bright red at your words, and he no longer could make eye contact with you. “… Don't you want to talk, anyway? You want to know who your spooky doppelganger is, don't you?”

Suddenly, you had his attention again.

Ah, Emmet. He was truly the one person who could always get Ingo's full attention.

Hi, I suffer from autism with hypersensitivity to loud noises and negative things around me such as people yelling are getting angry. What that happens I would go mute and not want to talk until I feel better. Do you have any service pokemon to recommend?

Certainly! You might be surprised to hear it, but Pokémon who make loud noises are really good at helping with noise sensitivity. Whismer and Vibrava come to mind; they can be trained to act as noise cancelers by emiting the exact opposite frequency. A modified Polygon (not Porygon, do not modify those) might also be able to be trained to do the same on a smaller scale, connecting to wireless headphones.

Another option would be a Pokémon who can comfort you during those triggering situations. Something soft and fluffy that could also cover your ears, like a Sylveon with it's ribbons or maybe a Linoone or a domestic breed Furrett (much smaller than battle breed) that could wrap like a scarf.

Any psychic type trained in telepathy could both help you recover faster and translate for you when you are mute. I'm quite fond of the Raltz line, but Abra, Medicham, and Gothita are other good options.
