So, been playing Pokemon Ambrosia over the past few days, and decided to peak ahead since idk if I'm going to continue since more difficult hacks aren't really something I'm usually into-- and not to shit on the game or writing or anything, the dev clearly put a lot of effort and time into it and I don't want to trash their work, but it's so odd that they chose Wallace of all characters as the main villain for this story (and he apparently killed Steven too, tho we later find out he might still be alive).

Like, this guy??? Why???:

The game's opening even has him murking a group of people, including children, with Rayquaza. It's just so wildly out of character, it completely takes me out 😂 I suppose they needed a villain, but at least Lance has an incarnation that's villainous and genocidal in the manga. I can see why they didn't use him tho since it's a GSC hack.

If they wanted to go the war with Hoenn route, Steven might have been a bit more fitting since he's noted to have a more merciless side to him in Masters and nearly had his Mega Metagross plow into Mable in the anime, blowing up an (occupied!) building behind her, and I'm pretty sure he showed up to put down Lysandre all by himself. He definitely wouldn't kill kids either, but he's generally the type of guy that strikes me as if you push him too far, it will be catastrophic for you (it takes him a while to get there tho); he's really not as passive as Wallace makes him out to be in his post-defeat rant.

An OC from a fanon region probably would've worked best tho. 😅

(It's not the first time I've seen villainous Wallace in a fangame, him and Steven are the villains of another hack I played called Pokemon Altair. But at least with that, they were both under mind control from an evil Pokemon. So not really evil of their own volition.)

(All that to say it's funny that in two fangames I've played, Steven and Wallace are divorced and make it everyone's problem. Basically that Doofenshmirtz meme of "if I had a nickel", y'know?)

STEVEN ANCESTOR TIME BABY!!!!

Her name is Ambrosia Stone, and she was the original founder of Devon back when it was a mining focused organization, before it became more focused on infinity energy and technology down the line. She's not the best with the most technical sides of running a business such as handling finances or similar things like that, much rather wanting to help the company by being there in the caves helping out in person, and will sometimes wander off when she gets bored. She can be a bit loud and easily distracted but she is very kind and passionate for what she does.

She's so epic swag guys i love her....

Applin update!! So far he's gotten along the best with Cider, as I said before!! Our cafe's Appletun, Ambrosia, also took a liking to the little guy :] It's really cute seeing the two of them coddle him!!

The others are very excited to have a new sibling, though I am needing to teach Ginger that our new friend is Not food...

marcille's pokemon team! i imagine she's acquired a variety of mons over the years but some of them have been with her longer than others, like the dragonite she raised from dratini. azumarill is from before going to magic school. she got braixen as a fennekin for research purposes, and evolved it during the school period. cherrim is the newest of this bunch, caught and evolved during magic school.

(if you’re curious about why i picked certain pokemon for marcille, and names i gave her team members, it’ll be in the readmore!)

BRAIXEN (Ignis): an easy nod to magic school and her wooden staff. i wanted a straight-up fire type since marcille uses a bunch of explosive magic in the dungeon. i went with braixen instead of delphox because it has more of a youthfulness like marcille herself.

CHERRIM (Pom/Pomegranate): i definitely wanted a grass-type to reflect her staff being made of wood (with little green sprout), her green eyes, and her love of vegetables. cherrim having a bit of a food (cherry) element is a nice plus, and like braixen, it has a yellow colour like marcille’s blonde hair. i think marcille would also love cherrim’s cuteness, and its red accents match marcille’s own red accessories. it being flowery also matches marcille’s floral-enjoying aesthetic sensibilities. on top of that, i imagine it switching to its overcast form after marcille becomes the lord of the dungeon to reflect her mental state.

AZUMARILL (Tsunami): i wanted a more whimsical-looking pokemon to show off marcille’s cuteness, and a fairy-type adds to the magical feel. but even if azumarill looks silly and marcille can be silly, they really pack a punch. scarvi raiders will appreciate this beautiful round friend with a nod.

DRAGONITE (Stratus): rather than just have marcille’s team reflect her cuter aspects, it was important for me to include a member with competitive viability (which generally means the mon itself has a bunch of strengths). before i considered that aspect, i thought about including dragonair as a reference to marcille’s coatl monster, but i went with dragonite in the end for a cute-looking friend with a lot of strength. marcille has, after all, studied magic for a long time and is really good at it. It’d certainly make sense for her to have an objectively strong mon like dragonite on her team, especially considering the position dragons have in dunmeshi’s world and culture (and they were once at the top of the food chain in pokemon too...).

ALCREMIE (Nectar): a suggestion from my friend i really liked, partly because it’s food. and that’s obviously funny. a sweet-looking pure fairy-type (red accents too!) ties into marcille’s enjoyment of sweets and adds more of that fairy/magic feel. as for which colour variant hers would be, i’ll leave that up to you guys to decide. and a funny little sidenote: marcille wanted a fairy for herself like the canaries, but was daunted and disgusted by the requirements to create one. the homunculus the fairies start out as looks like a little blob of a guy, and alcremie’s pre-evo milcery is... well.

because of the homunculus stuff, i imagine she hatched Nectar from an egg and evolved it before magic school!

GOURGEIST (Ambrosia): while braixen works as a cute magic school reference to magic, gourgeist has more of a witchy, spooky feel. marcille isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, after all. but since this is her team from the start, gourgeist is a nice way to wink at a darker witch aesthetic compared to her other mons without fully giving away marcille’s eventual transformation. it still has a fitting whimsical design, plus its broomstick likeness can be seen as another nod to ambrosia.

Ambrosia would, of course, have been obtained as a pumpkaboo and raised until evolving in line with marcille's staff creation in dunmeshi

honorary mentions: ponyta/rapidash (for her horse love), milotic (for the quetzalcoatl), rotom (suggested by my friend who likes the mental image of her putting senshi in rotom wash), arboliva (italian), liligant (floral + grass-type), foongus (grass-type, reference to walking mushrooms), deerling (grass-type, cute, a deer is vaguely horselike), morpeko (silly/cute, has a “dark” form like cherrim)

dungeon lord: she would have control over all the mons in the dungeon without them being “hers”, so i didn’t plan for her team to change upon her becoming dungeon lord.

(Dusk does not look pleased about this. She does not want to face Ollie. She may have seemed calm with that letter, but she is still mildly terrified of them.)

Right. So..to explain what's going on. There's a mythical Pokemon that we know simply as "The Guardian of the Forest". A pokemon responsible for allowing humanity to flourish alongside pokemon here in Cirosa, centuries ago.

However..thanks to the actions of the Ambrosias and Team Electrum...it feels as if the ancient pact has been broken. If we don't calm it down soon, it might not just be Cirosa that suffers for it. Those vines have looooooooong reach after all.

HSR X Pokemon AU

I opened a can of worm that is Pokemon AU. These are just personal HC of their 6 pokemon team. Might write a long explanation on all of them later haha. I do plan to make a long series of most of them. Start off with our fav dragon boy.

Rayquaza is like the pokemon that accompanied the Imbibitor Lunae throughout each reincarnation. Only when fighting did it gain the Mega Evolution form. However, when Dan Feng committed the unpardonable sin, it parted ways with him. No one has seen it again after the sedition. When Dan Heng came to be and left Luofu, Rayquaza didn't follow him. Thinking that the Imbibitor Lunae no longer worthy of its companionship. It wasn't until Dan Heng came back to Luofu, parted the sea and defeated Phantylia did it emerged again. That was when Rayquaza helped Dan Heng and Bailu sealed the Ambrosia Arbor and they reconciled. While it didn't usually go with Dan Heng on his travel, when he calls, Rayquaza will cross the sea of stars to help him no matter how far they are apart.

Now for the rest of the team hahahahaha, this is where the fun begins. Started off with Dan Feng's team! Dan Feng is a powerful high elder, pokemons, especially the dragon type all respected him. It isn't rare to see them all surround him or submit into his service.

Dragapult - She and the Audino are the two that help him taking care of the young Vidhayara eggs! Since it is the job of high elders to making sure his people are reborn properly. She is quite motherly and also the second fastest pokemon Dan Feng has.

Audino - While she helps with Dan Feng job as high elder, the other job is to make sure that the HCQ and their pokemon are in check because they could be reckless.

Kingdra - Submit itself into service ever since he's a Horsea. Dan Feng is quite impressed with its determination.

Vaporeon - The HCQ rescue a group of Eevees and decided to each adopt one of them. Dan Feng's one evolved into Vaporeon. Milotic - Now here's the funny one. He's the FIRST pokemon Dan Feng caught. Because somehow when it is still a Freebas it wasn't the brightest of the bunch.

It kinda didn't know that Dan Feng is the high elder from look alone. And so everyone was quite surprised when this Freebas completely IGNORE Dan Feng. So out of curiosity, he fought and caught it. Wasn't a hard fight. This Freebas lacked every common sense it should have. So Dan Feng thought that it is kinda funny in its own way. After a while, he decided to train it and it is said to be one of the most beautiful pokemon in Luofu. After the Sedition, Jing Yuan took care of all his team until the all passed away from illness and old age.

Now for Dan heng's team. Dan Heng never have a Pokemon until he came out of prison. They are fiercely loyal to him and would fight till the last breath with him. Most are caught or rescued!

Lucario - Dan Heng's first companion when he traveled out of Luofu. Dan Heng rescued him as a Riolu from an illegal death fighting ring because he couldn't stand watching little thing get killed for losing. They became each other archor on Dan Heng's journey.

Dragonair - Dan Heng caught this one on his journey with Astral Express. It is also the first pokemon he caught as a nameless. She is really good at survelience when they are on a mission. She evolved into Dragonair throughout his journey

Smeargle - Dan Heng's second pokemon that he caught as a Nameless. He wasn't really good at fighting and mainly stays on the Express to halp Dan Heng maintain the Archive and Data room. Very shy and reserve.

Umbreon - Received as a gift from Jing Yuan upon his return to Luofu and receive pardon from his exile when it was still an Eevee Egg. The reason he didn't go on Penacony is because he needed to make sure it hatch safely. It hatched only a few moments before Boothill board the Express and later evolved into Umbreon when Dan Heng was battling the Borisons in the Shackling Prison.

Gyarados - So remember the funny story of Dan Feng and Freebas? Well it happened again but with Magikarp for Dan heng. This Gyrados was an accident of a sort. Dan heng knew Dan Feng had a Milotic and so he thought he might try to get a Freebas as well and somehow he only got Magikarp in his fishing hunt. It kept ruining his pity so upon a challenge via March, he ended up rasing one. It evolved.

I plan to make this a series of course! Already have Jing Yuan's team planned hehehe.

Here's the founder of my Pokemon Type Legacy playhtrough, Ambrosia. I think she's pretty cute.

Project Thunder: Harmonia

So in this case the rescue team (Kirby, Tune, Arle and Link's crews, along with Nimbus's SMGs, Tama's Pokemon, Blotch, Tonio, Piper and some extra characters) knows exactly where Nimbus is; at the resistance's main base, trying to keep everything under control. Some of the team goes there (not all, there's limited space) to meet her, and they manage to convince her to believe what's going on and eat the meme. She is, of course, so relieved to see her friends here, but there's still the situation at hand to deal with. Fortunately, they came prepared.

Despite pulling from the fewest sources, they've got the biggest team by a long way thanks to just how many characters the Kirby, Zelda and Puyo Puyo franchises have, so they've got plenty of troops to deal with all the bosses. As a reminder, there's one in each Kingdom (two in Luminos thanks to Lumiere) so yeah that's A Lot of guys who showed up. They also brought along the Halberd, one of the few ships they didn't manage to Codeproof in time, which is a much more formidable headquarters that what the resistance has been using.

Not sure who handles all the bosses (except that every team besides the one that fights Lumiere has at least one version of Link), but I have figured out a few:

-Ethil's boss is fought by an aquatically based team led by Sidon and Serilly (a mermaid with severe social anxiety who's one of Arle's friends).

-Magnamiel's boss is a massive bird fought mainly by flight-capable characters (most notably Digi Blade, been a while since we've seen him), but Dapple obviously also gets involved since that's her home!

-Stagnus's boss has already been being kept at bay by Magnus personally, and he gets backup from a team led by Bowser (who he gets along extremely well with), Yunobo, Draco Centauros, and Magolor (bit of an odd one out there I'll admit).

-Devos is getting liberated by Tonio and Piper's team (of course) and since that's where Tama is Blotch and Tama's Pokemon came with them (well, Hoopa's a bit occupied being the one who's deploying everybody but he can do that from anywhere, especially since his Unbound Form is fully available unlike in the last crisis). Dark Meta Knight and the Squeak Squad are also there.

-Lumiere's Tower (yes he has a tower now. one of the perks of selling out his universe) is stormed specifically by Arle, Rulue, Schezo, Satan and Lagnus, since even with the power of the Twilight more-or-less on his side he's not likely to be much of a match for four seasoned world-saving adventures and the Devil Himself, so this frees up Nimbus and everybody else to focus on actually important things.

He also has a minor slipup that makes Arle realize he recognizes her, meaning he isn't being affected by the firewall and is actually playing along and helping the CCC, presumably because he realized the potential benefits to his plans to make Nimbus('s power) his own. All five are understandably pissed now, Satan especially (since, you know, it takes every line he won't cross in his own pursuit of Arle and tapdances on them)... and Arle informs the others that there's no need to hold back.

[It Was at This Moment He Knew; He Fucked Up]

-Meanwhile, Luminos Castle gets stormed by the Main Crews of Kirby, Link and Tune, as well as Nimbus herself and most of the resistance. Nimbus is back in her original design, Tune having found one of her spare suits and suggested that if she's going to be liberating her kingdom, she should do it in style so everyone knows the Songbird is back. most of the group gets caught up in a battle with the possessed Royal Guard (led by Valiant and Ambrosia because of course) while Nimbus, Tune, Kirby, Dedede, Link and their SMGs and MRUs keep going to the boss; Melody.

It's a very intense, emotionally charged fight that I cannot write here due to the format we're dealing with, at one point there's a duet between Dedede and Possessed Melody that gives the real Melody the strength to fight for control, Nimbus gets to show off that she's way better at using Memes than she used to be, fun times all around. When she's defeated and the group is checking to see if she's okay now she actually pulls Dedede (who caught her when she collapsed after the Twilight was purged from her system) down and kisses him.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that."

Freeing her freed the other possessed characters as well, so now we leave them waiting for word on the other bosses and the eventual extraction.

I was bored at uni one day so decided to make hypothetical pokemon teams for the Touden party. Some are based on vibes, some are references to the characters themselves. Explanations below, at some places I go into spoiler territory so read at your own risk. I dont know how to spoilertag so im just gonna paste a lot of "/" so people have to click read more.

Laios: In general a very monster focused team. Initially i considered filling his entire team with dragons, but found that idea pretty boring. Hydreigon is a perfect fit for Laios. It fits both his love of dragons, multiheaded monsters, and it fits one of his titles at the end of the story: Laios of the Three heads. Escavalier is a reference to the living armor, which i think is the coolest monster in the entire series. Thats not enough to have it as a team member though, so the real reason i placed it on Laios' theme is that its Kensuke. Pyroar is The Winged Lion, as Laios is the only person in the story who truly understands it. Nidoking is a monster, but it also has king in its name. Lycanrock (day) is a reference to his childhood dogs. Finally Lickylicky references his endless apetite. I chose Lickylicky over snorlax, because Lickylicky is more niche in its appeal, and Laios is the type of person who likes things other would say "Thats stupid" to.

Marcille: I struggled a bit with this team, but in general i wanted to focus on her Elf identity, which mean some more feminine pokemon. However i also wanted to focus on her ancient magic and magical capabilities. I think Gardevoir is a perfect fit for her. Its a very caring pokemon, and its a very powerful psychic type. I added Cradily because i felt it fit her a lot. Its an ancient pokemon, and its a plant. You could see this as fitting with her staff and such, but all in all i just thought it really fit Marcille a lot. Next is Trevenant, which is a reference to her staff, Ambrosia. Its also a ghost type pokemon and has a darker design than just a tree, so i felt it was a nice tie in to her having darker/ancient magic than she lets on at first. Meowstic is a pokemon i put in simply for the vibes, I feel it fits her a lot. No other reason really. Gothitelle is here to reference her Dungeon Lord outfit, but i also think its a pokemon she would like. At last Spiritomb. This is a reference to her ancient magic, and i feel no other pokemon could represent an old unknown horror quite as well as Spiritomb.

Senshi: I wanted to really include Senshis key characteristics here, but really ended up with a lot of food pokemon. Mudsbray is a reference to Anne, both the horse and the Kelpie. Torterra is a pokemon i think senshi would like. I initially wanted to use Golem or another rock type to reference his farm golems, but i think Torterra just does the idea much better seeing as its basically an ecosystem in itself. Kangaskhan is a reference to his parental role in the party, but also his need to take care of the younger generation. Perrserker is a reference to his dwarf identity, i just think its neat. Appletun is an apple pie, and Farfetch'd seems like a nice pokemon to help you make food.

Chilchuck: With Chilchuck i wanted to both think of his status as the party rogue/trap disarmer and his position as a family man at heart. I wanted to reference his politics, but found it hard to represent with pokemon. First up we have Thievul, which is just a great fit for him. Its a thief fox that steps around silently, i think he would really like this thing. Klefki is his disarming tools. Maushold is him and his family. I think Pyukumuku is actually the best representation of him. Its small, and mostly utility focused, which is really his place in the party. However its also really cool so theres that, i guess. Lastly Galarian Stunfisk represents traps, and Gimmieghoul is his (least) favourite monster The Mimic.

Izutsumi: I wanted to emphazise that shes both a cat and a angsty teenager, but ended up with a very edgy team. I suppose it fits her though. Liepard is a scheming cat pokemon. It also fits because it has a rivalry with Thievul, which is in Chilchucks team. I think it was a nice fit as they basically have a grumpy dad/teenage daughter relationship at times. Sneasel is a mischievous little guy, which is basically a description of Izutsumi. Greninja is a ninja, and Luxio kinda looks like Izutsumi. Zoroark and Umbreon are both pretty edgy pokemon which i loved as a teenager, but i do think they fit her design. This is probably the weakest team on this list, but I still feel it fits her a lot.

Falin: I wanted to represent Falins place in the story, aswell as some of her likes. Dracozolt is a direct reference to her status as a hybrid bird/dragon/human monster. Its a perfect fit really. Hatterene represents her status as a "damsel in distress" that the party need to save. Although i think shes more than that, I felt it fit as Hatterene also has powerful magic. Oranguru i thought was a funny pick, i think it fits her healing mage aesthetic, and they basically have the same design really. Scolipede is a reference to her love of bugs and Reuniclus is both a psychic type and a body. I think it was a nice fit for her. Lastly we have Alolan Marowak, who in design is an exorcist, which is a nice little nod to her and Laios' conversation when they were children. Her potentially becoming a wandering exorcist.

And thats that. I made this just for fun so there are probably better choices for some of the characters. thanks.

[There is a battle taking place within a grassy area of Wyndon University. Ambrosia is seen on the left side of the arena, and an unknown opponent with dark hair and a graphic tee is on the right.

“Let’s have a good battle, Jericho!” says Ambrosia, unlatching a pokeball from her belt and holding it close to her chest. “You’ve got this, Your Majesty” she says.

On the other side of the field, Jericho yells back, “Absolutely! Let’s go Corviknight!”

Simultaneously, Ambrosia and Jericho let their pokeballs fly, releasing their pokemon. The match begins.

“Alright, Maj! Start off with disarming voice!” Ambrosia calls and the Ralts cries out towards the steel type. Corviknight scoffs in retort.

Jericho tilts his head, making an audible “huh?” noise. “Don’t you know that steel is resistant to fairy?”

Ambrosia shakes her head, “It almost never misses, small damage can make or break a battle!”

Jericho rolls his eyes, “Whatever, Corvi, use iron defense, then use peck!”

Instantly, Corviknight flings itself into the air, soaring high above Her Majesty’s reach. It hardens itself before diving straight for Her Majesty.

Ambrosia winces and raises her arm in commandment. “Maj, don’t let it hit you, dodge! Dodge!”

Her Majesty, with barely enough time to react, barely dodges to the left of Corviknight’s attack, scraping her side and causing visible damage. Her Majesty cries out in pain and growls. 

Huffing, Ambrosia says, “Don’t let up yet, Maj, psybeam, now!”

Her Majesty contorts herself to face the now idle Corviknight, charging her beam for a sliver of a second.

“Counterattack with fury attack! Now Corvi!” Jericho screams.

Corviknight, faster than Her Majesty, dodges upward, missing the psybeam, and quickly swoops behind, striking her with 3 swift hits.

Her Majesty cried out as she was toppled off her feet. Standing back up, she looks at Ambrosia and cries at her.

Ambrosia furrows her brow and then winces. “What?” she calls to her friend. “What are you…” she puts a hand to her forehead, squeezing her eyes tight. 

Jericho, while Ambrosia is distracted, orders Corviknight to attack with peck. The bird chirps in response. 

Ralts, focused intently on her trainer, does not hear this and takes the hit. 

Ambrosia grimaces as the eye contact is broken. “We need a hit, let's go, Maj. Use psybeam!”

Her Majesty lets out a terrible groan as her anger flares into a psybeam. This time it connects.

Corviknight, who was flying, is shot back to the ground. It hits the ground hard, but it's obviously not out.

Jericho smirks. “Okay, I see how it is…” he laughs as his pokemon gets back up on its feet. “Drill peck now!”

With great speed, Corviknight is gone from Her Majesty’s perception. Swooping behind her, the bird digs its beak into her back.

Groaning, Her Majesty is thrown to the other side of the arena. It is obvious that ralts is close to going down. 

“Ugh, nothing is going right! Majesty, can you keep going?” Ambrosia asks. Her Majesty nods, picking itself up before growling. Ambrosia nods back. “Let’s do this then. Bodyslam.”

Corviknight, unprepared for the physical attack, does not dodge in time. The Ralts slams herself into the bird, who is forced to topple over. It is clear that this battle has become even. 

Jericho sucks at his teeth. “Damn, wasn’t expecting that. Guess it's time to retort with steel wing!”

Corviknight lets out a bellowing call as it propelled itself into the sky. Hovering for a moment, it's wings harden and sharpen.

Amber calls out to her pokemon. “Dodge it, quick, Maj!”

It then dives, tucking in its wings to gain momentum. Ralts, attempts to dodge, but Corviknight is too quick. It connects with Ralts’ head.

Her Majesty screams gutturally, both seeming from rage and pain. The noise is terrifying, and even the confident Jericho looks concerned. Ambrosia, on the other hand, suddenly looks incredibly pale. Corviknight, however, does not take this into account as it plows its beak into Her Majesty’s side with another drill peck, causing the Ralts to be flung across the field onto its back. 

Her Majesty and Ambrosia cry out in tandem. This time the noise is wet and painful. Ralts falls limp and Ambrosia’s knees buckle beneath her, and she crumples onto the grass, her body completely still.

Jericho pauses, his face from the other side of the arena still emoting satisfaction, before quickly changing to fear. “Ambrosia?” he calls to her. “Ambrosia, are you okay?” He runs quickly to the fainted girl before leaning down and shaking her. “Ambrosia, what the fuck!”

His terrified face grows more severe. “Somebody, anybody! Please he-” ]

I also have a little Fletchling named Ginger and an Applin named Nutmeg, both of which do not battle!!

We have a Appletun named Ambrosia, and a Dachsbun named Creampuff who both help around at the café!! Please be nice to them, they're extremely friendly!!

Battling is not required! We have comfortable seating where people can enjoy their treats and watch the battles!!

Want to casually battle other trainers? You can do that! We have dedicated spaces for you to battle inside or outside the café!!

Want to be a bit more competitive? It's easy! Just register your trainer ID with one of our workers, and you'll receive a digital ticket!! Battle other trainers to collect their tickets. The more tickets you have, the more you climb the ranks!! Your goal? To fight one of the Battle Café Masters!! Beau runs the Single battles, while Nicky and I run the Doubles!!
