listen. we need to talk about purity culture in this fandom. there is a lot of hate going around about people “jumping ship” to buck/tommy and how it ruins buddie. y’all need to get the idea out of your head that if buck and eddie arent each others first (and then last) queer relationship that is somehow diminishes what they have. it doesn't. buck could fuck 100 men and it wouldn't diminish what they have because contrary to popular belief, sex doesn’t always equal love. holding buck to some arbitrary standard of purity when he’s not even canonically dating eddie is wild. anyway.

It really is incredible the way succession will keep showing you just how amoral and callous the Roy kids can be and you'll hit the point where you start to question why you're even watching anymore because they're all just so awful, and then they'll do something so pathetically human and broken that you can't imagine ever looking away or not caring anymore. The writers always seem to know exactly when to stop and it's genuinely stunning.

jess and rory s6 in her bedroom at her grandparents house,, I don’t know why I do this to myself but I just watched a clip of that scene and I have tears in my eyes. i’m not even saying this for exaggeration i’m genuinely tearing up..
