I walked through the market, skirt not short. And those eyes stared! ___ I walked up the podium, hairs not loose. And those eyes stared! I walked back to house, not so late. And those eyes stared! ____ I worked out in the gym, for my health and strength. And those eyes stared! I worked in streets for their good and strength. And those eyes stared! ____ I am a doctor, a teacher, a pilot, a model And those eyes stared! I am a preacher, an actress, a house wife, a student And those eyes stared! ____ What kind of friend can you be? If you don’t advise him not to stare. What kind of dad can you be? If you don’t teach yourself and him not to stare ____ What kind of husband can you be! When you don’t respect ‘us’, women. What kind of brother can you be When you don’t stop bringing the discomfort your sister faces? ____ Stare at me all you want! For, you don’t bring me down, not anymore. Stare at me all you want!
