Oh what a fool I've been

I read only face

And nothing more

What you say

You don't and then

You drift away from us

Into the interests you've never had

Urges to feel your lips

Were all burnt alive

I've not yet found any love 

Really not

Though you asked me 

To find one fine girl

And uncountable dreams

Even after a lot many mistakes

You don't get the difference

Between needs and wants

Do I want, what I need?

Sticking my ear onto your bare chest

I could taste the sweetness

The king of the gods

Here in the garden of words and pains

Wait a minute oh lord

My friend is now

In need of mine and that's fine

Removing the shirt and skin you wear

Before your friends and foes

I feel the places within you

Some dank, some dazzling 

Some derelict universes 

Lovers rather wouldn't explore 

Never it had been 

For ten minutes and a more

Only deafening silence crescendoes

In between needs and wants

Between love and regret

I texted you 'adieu'

And wrote 'we're mysteries'

You better hushed me up

And kept hobbling back home

My season monsoon

I try hard to listen 

To what your heart really 

Tries to say

Silencing your inhibitions

And fear of dying alone

I've never hugged any tree

But have been 

A tree hugger ever since then.

As they are none less

than fierce women

with long forgotten

To this time

Composed of

Everlasting moments

Of monotony

But never

To this space

Gory and ruthless

You can

Either sing or scream

To mark your presence

In this lonesome galaxy

But who cares

For you?

At the end of it all

After the sun sets

Noboy stays, I crawl

Life on this earth

Is unbelievably diverse

And stranger than fiction

And if this is false

Where should I move?

Beneath my apparel

Can't be hidden

My beauty and soul

If these aren't really scattered

Throughout the neighborhood

And beyond the horizon

Where the neons flicker

And blue

I still believe

I'm not lost in the crowd

And still as real

In your thoughts and heart

and dreams

As I'm here

Writing out my heart

For me and you

Well in advance

But I beg

Don't you push me

Of my comfort

You ventured into a dangerous world,

Convinced a piece was missing,

Rom-coms were your favourite thing––

The love, the hugs, the kissing.

Near and far, you searched and searched,

You drove yourself insane,

Clinging to an untrue thought:

A man will fix my pain.

And when you said you needed him,

I told you you were wrong,

The love you craved was there inside,

You had it all along.

I'm not afraid of the dark, I was born it

I've never been afraid of my demons, they rest and lay wait in the furnace of my heart

Wanting to be released to unleash the chaos, confusion and disorder within

caged in my mind is the fog of war

Peace has escaped my soul for so long

I crave the silence that is never forthcoming
