Twilight Sparkle! - A rare Anomoly, being born to a Ponyville father and Canterlot mother, Ms Sparkle has a rare- but helpful- genetic mutation that is rarely seen! - her Assistant and “son” of sorts— Spike— is a baby Dragon! He has difficulty standing on 2 legs as he’s supposed to.

There seems to be something written in old equestrian on her cutie mark….

I've seen some people criticize that the "Us weirdoes have to stick together" show doesn't have more visibly nonhuman characters and yeah I WOULD love more for many, many reasons but also. It's almost like monsters in this type of media are a metaphor for real life human beings that are being represented on-screen. You can talk hot shit about empathizing with hypothetical aliens in space but maybe work on empathizing with your fellow human beings of different races, genders, etc., on this planet first. Or at least use the former to get to the latter part eventually.

It’s easy to relate to a fictional creature/culture that can’t actually have opinions, nor exist in a way that takes up space and doesn’t care what you think. That’s why Luz had to go beyond her books and pets in making real friends who she learned to navigate, and vice-versa. The similarities between witches and humans is kinda the point, and it means that Luz didn’t avoid her struggles in interacting with her fellow humans when going to the Boiling Isles; She figured them out as she was meant to. The same problem but hidden under a palatable appearance that Luz felt confident about, like a placebo it was always in her.

This whole colorism thing with Natlan and Hoyoverse has got me feeling just…so sad. Like as a white person I do NOT get to have an opinion on the entire ordeal, but it makes me sad that so many people are being misrepresented and that something I love is the cause of so much hurt right now. It feels like such a big issue without a clear method of action on my end - I’ve done the surveys, I’ve signed the petitions, but I’m also not the demographic affected and therefore not qualified enough to talk about it either. I hope Hoyo listens to the outrage, because the game isn’t fun unless we’re all getting to play it and get the same level of enjoyment out of it and having fun together, but it also feels so hopeless that I don’t know what to think right now !!!

I’m honestly too lazy to write want I would rewrite about what I heard about this movie (I’m not giving my money to watch this movie) lol. I probably go deeper into my version of WISH, cause it just seems so fun to imagine what could have been …

Anyways my redesign of Asha and my design of Star boy (Astro, original I know lol) Heavy inspired by the concept art —- also still think about the colour palette as I did really love the colour she had in her early designs (maroons, beiges and so on)

I really rushed this as you can tell but I needed to get this out of my head — besides that really happy with How this turned out :) The difference of the 2nd page Astro has a coat or a vest looking coat that I thought would be nice to have at the end of the film, he can give to Asha, granting her the ability of a Fairy godmother… that’s just one of the many ideas I had .. Hopefully I can continue this cause I’m lazy and drawing something from my mind is hard :P
