Transiting Sun enters Cancer
Saturday, June 21 - Tuesday, July 22, 2025
Cancer the Crab - the Sign of the Nurturer*
Water image - an oasis
"I feel"
Keyphrase: my need to give and receive emotional warmth and security
Water (emotional and soul - feeling, nurturing, hidden, sensitive )
Yin (gravity - ingoing, receptive, intuitive, right-brained)
Cardinal (initiating action - generating, active, direct, over-committed)
Personal (subjective - focused on personal wants and needs)
Ruler - the Moon; exalted - Jupiter
Color - soft light blue, like a clear sky reflected in a calm lake
*Gleaned almost completely from the book Astrology for Yourself by Bloch and George; the rulerships and color tend to be my own theory/belief.
Happy Cancer season! It starts off with what, for the Crab, is an intense concentration of energy and opportunities. And then it’s pretty much bland!
Cancer season is the time of year to retreat and withdraw a little bit. Quiet time is favored - time to reflect and heal, to inspect our personal “shells” (boundaries) and make repairs and reinforcements as needed.
Jupiter newly arrived in Cancer makes this a fortunate time for focusing on the “family” - it wants us to make the most of it, to expand along the tribal fronts. The New Moon on the 25th is a pretty spectacular set-up for setting powerful intentions.
Sunday, June 22 -
Sun/Cancer square Saturn/Aries, 1°35’
Sun/Cancer square Neptune/Aries, 2°08’
Sun/Cancer inconjunct Pluto Rx/Aquarius, 3°16’
Sun/Cancer conjunct Jupiter/Cancer, 3°22’
New Moon, 4°08’ Cancer
Sun/Cancer sextile Mars/Virgo, 5°14’
Sun/Cancer trine Vesta/Scorpio, 5°59°
We have the outer planets Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto (representing the wider world) forcing us into some new kind of responses. The aspects from Mars, Vesta, and Jupiter give us energy, focus, and optimism to work with. Set an intention about creating safe space(s).
Sunday, July 6 - Thursday, July 10:
Sun/Cancer (14°59’) semi-square Uranus/Taurus (29°59’)
Sun/Cancer trine Juno Rx/Scorpio, 16°16’
Full Moon, 18°50’ Capricorn
So do we let other people into our sanctuaries, or not? They may have their own ideas about how to run things! We all have a lot of work to do (especially the estadounidenses) about deprogramming from all the “rugged individualism” propaganda in our lives.
Sunday, July 13:
Sun/Cancer trine North Node/Pisces, sextile South Node/Virgo, 21°15’
Sun/Cancer inconjunct Pallas Rx/Aquarius, 21°40’
Sort of a “head vs spirit” situation; we don’t quite trust our feelings (yet) and hesitate to fully “go with the flow.”
Thursday, July 17 - Saturday, July 19:
Sun/Cancer square Eris Rx/Aries, 25°44’
Sun/Cancer square Chiron Rx/Aries, 27°06’
Ending with tests of some sort. Have we built good boundaries? Maybe they’re too strong, and we’re keeping everything out because it’s easier. If we’ve done the work, there should be no problem.

This can bring heightened opportunities, growth, and luck related to the specific planet's traits. For example, a Jupiter-Sun conjunction can enhance your self-confidence and attract positive experiences into your life.
Jupiter Sextile or Trine: Harmonious aspects between Jupiter and other planets indicate ease in harnessing Jupiter's blessings. These aspects encourage positive growth, expansion, and the ability to seize opportunities with relative ease. A Jupiter-Moon trine may enhance your emotional well-being and bring support from family or women.
Jupiter Square or Opposition: Challenging aspects between Jupiter and other planets may require extra effort to tap into its positive energy. These aspects can bring growth through overcoming obstacles and learning valuable lessons. A Jupiter-Mercury square might indicate a need to balance optimism with practicality in communication and decision-making.
Jupiter and Outer Planets: Aspects with outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) can signify transformative and profound experiences. A Jupiter-Neptune trine could enhance your spiritual journey and creative pursuits, while a Jupiter-Pluto opposition may involve intense personal growth through confronting power dynamics.
Multiple Aspects: When Jupiter forms multiple aspects, its influence becomes multi-faceted. A Jupiter with a mix of harmonious and challenging aspects can create a balanced interplay of growth, challenges, and opportunities.
Remember, Jupiter's influence is unique to your birth chart. The aspects it forms with other planets provide a dynamic interplay that shapes your life journey. Consult an astrologer to gain deeper insights into how Jupiter's energy interacts with the rest of your chart and discover the keys to unlocking its full potential. Embrace Jupiter's blessings and navigate your path to prosperity! 🌈🔑

astro notes: daily transits & horoscopes 11/7
Thursday begins on a tense note with the Capricorn Moon squaring rebellious Eris, sparking agitation or frustration. A trine between the Moon and Uranus offers a mid-morning opportunity to release these feelings with flexibility, followed by a sextile to Neptune that brings in a touch of empathy. By mid-afternoon, though, emotions may intensify when the Moon conjoins Pluto, potentially uncovering deep-seated issues. Shortly afterward, Luna’s shift into Aquarius invites us to embrace and express our individuality. However, an opposition between the Moon and Mars later in the afternoon may trigger impulsivity and possible confrontations. As the evening unfolds, a Venus-Uranus quincunx peaks, creating a sense of disconnect or unpredictability in relationships.
Rising Sign Delineations:
Aries Rising The morning’s tension between career and self-expression may impact your mood, but the Moon’s alignment with Uranus and Neptune can bring fresh solutions to work or public life. As the Moon moves into your 11th house of friendships, social issues might become a focus, especially with the impulsive Moon-Mars opposition stirring potential conflicts. Evening disconnections in close relationships call for patience, as the Venus-Uranus quincunx urges flexibility.
Taurus Rising Internal restlessness early in the day may stem from unaddressed philosophical or personal beliefs. The Moon’s trine to Uranus and sextile to Neptune encourages openness to new perspectives, particularly around travel, education, or spiritual matters. The Moon’s shift to Aquarius activates career-related individuality, but the Moon-Mars opposition may cause impulsive interactions with authority figures. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening suggests a need for space or freedom in partnerships.
Gemini Rising You may start the day feeling uneasy about shared resources or intimate matters, but the Moon-Uranus and Moon-Neptune alignments offer insight into financial or emotional healing. Later, the Moon’s entry into Aquarius encourages you to explore new ideas or travel plans. As the Moon opposes Mars, be mindful of impulsive reactions in shared resources or intimate conversations. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening could highlight unexpected changes in routines or work relationships.
Cancer Rising Relationship tensions may arise early in the day, but supportive lunar aspects to Uranus and Neptune encourage compassion and patience with others. The Moon’s entry into Aquarius later brings focus to deeper connections, though the Moon-Mars opposition could spark impulsive or confrontational exchanges in one-on-one settings. Evening energy may feel unpredictable with the Venus-Uranus quincunx, suggesting a need for open communication and understanding in close partnerships.
Leo Rising Workplace frustrations may surface in the morning, but the Moon’s aspects to Uranus and Neptune encourage flexibility and understanding in daily routines. The Moon’s shift into your 7th house of partnerships brings focus to your relationships, and the Moon-Mars opposition may cause impulsive or heated discussions. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening encourages adaptability in balancing personal needs with those of others.
Virgo Rising Creative blocks or self-doubt might start the day, but the Moon’s supportive aspects with Uranus and Neptune suggest that a change in perspective can alleviate stress. The Moon’s move into Aquarius shifts your attention to health and routine, where the Moon-Mars opposition could create impulsivity around self-care practices. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening highlights possible disconnects with work colleagues or health matters, urging flexibility.
Libra Rising Tension within family or home life could emerge early on, but the Moon’s aspects to Uranus and Neptune bring supportive energies to family or creative endeavors. The Moon’s ingress into your 5th house encourages self-expression, though the Moon-Mars opposition may lead to impulsive reactions in romantic or creative matters. The Venus-Uranus quincunx highlights potential detachment with loved ones, suggesting a need for adaptability.
Scorpio Rising Early morning restlessness may be tied to communication or local matters, yet the Moon-Uranus and Moon-Neptune alignments offer potential breakthroughs in family discussions. The Moon’s shift into your 4th house brings attention to home life, where the Moon-Mars opposition might cause impulsivity or confrontations. Evening energy may feel disconnected in partnerships due to the Venus-Uranus quincunx, highlighting a need for compromise and understanding.
Sagittarius Rising Financial or self-worth concerns could create early frustrations, but supportive lunar aspects help you explore solutions. The Moon’s shift into your 3rd house encourages open communication and intellectual exchange, although the Moon-Mars opposition may spark impulsive conversations with siblings or neighbors. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening calls for flexibility in health or daily routines.
Capricorn Rising Personal concerns may cause tension early on, but the Moon’s connections with Uranus and Neptune bring supportive energy for exploring personal needs creatively. The Moon’s entry into your 2nd house of values may spark financial focus, though the Moon-Mars opposition might create impulsivity with spending or investments. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening suggests unpredictability in creative projects or self-expression, urging adaptability.
Aquarius Rising The morning may feel tense as hidden worries or fears surface, but lunar support from Uranus and Neptune offers intuitive insights. The Moon’s arrival in your 1st house encourages individuality, though the Moon-Mars opposition may cause impulsive reactions in self-expression. The Venus-Uranus quincunx in the evening might highlight the need for balance in family or living situations.
Pisces Rising Social or friendship tensions may arise early in the day, but the Moon’s aspects to Uranus and Neptune offer emotional grounding. The Moon’s entry into your 12th house signals introspection, though the Moon-Mars opposition may stir up impulsive responses to hidden fears. Evening energy brings unpredictability to local or intellectual pursuits with the Venus-Uranus quincunx, calling for an open mind and flexibility.

Full Moon in Capricorn 🌕 Baphomet ⛧ Talon Abraxas
The Buck Moon In Capricorn Means Big Changes Are Coming For You
The full buck moon in Capricorn occurs on 21st July at 11.17 a.m. The buck moon offers us a chance to reflect and heal through summer. Under this full moon we should take a pause from day-to-day life and allow ourselves to lean into our emotions.
This lunation is the second full moon of the season in Capricorn (the first one was 21st June). This is because the lunar calendar and phases of the moon are not in sync. To differentiate the two, it’s important to note that the full moon on 21st July exists at the 29th degree of Capricorn, while the celestial event on 21st June was at the first degree at Capricorn. The anaretic degree of 21st July's buck moon means that change is critical and will happen as we embrace our fate. There will be endings and new beginnings that will be felt intensely at this time so we should be aware of the impact we can have on others as well as the effect others can have on us. Try to surround yourself with supportive people who have proven they will be there for you.
The full moon aspects revolutionary Uranus in Taurus and dreamy Neptune retrograde in Pisces. The alchemisation of these two planets with the moon in Capricorn brings a transformative vibe that will shift our sentimental core and we may feel lost in our emotions throughout the day. Old wounds and traumas are resurfacing, reawakening our hearts to the pain we experienced in the past. However, we can now harness our wisdom and strength to understand such sensitivities. Doing so allows us to learn about ourselves more deeply and know how to take steps towards alleviating our suffering.
Powerful asteroids Eris and Chiron (both in Aries) square the full moon, blending upheaval and healing. We will search for alternative methods to mend our hearts and spirits as we move towards a better state of being. We may want to see the results fast but it’ll be just the first step forwards in a long journey ahead. We mustn’t rush the process and give ourselves compassion. Patience is critical so we should embrace a gentler approach to matters with others, especially ourselves.
The fixed stars Albireo and Altair (both of whom fall at the early degrees of Aquarius) are in close orbit to the full moon, warning us of how we handle our personal affairs. We shouldn’t take out our frustrations on others: This may have dramatic consequences including reputation-damaging public disputes. If you’re feeling a certain way, journal your thoughts, discuss them with a professional therapist, a friend or a family member you trust. Do not attack others on social media (even though the temptation will be high). It’s also advisable to offer advice only when it is solicited and to do so without judgment. Give others the same level of affection and respect that you would like for yourself.
The planets are very active on 21st July. The Cancer sun harmonises with Neptune retrograde in Pisces, bringing empathy, tenderness and gentleness to our hearts. Mercury in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, offering us new insights. Venus in Leo and Jupiter in Gemini spread love through meaningful and poetic affirmations. Lastly, Mars in Gemini connects with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, giving us confidence and boldness. The following day, the sun enters Leo, urging us to lead with our hearts.
Our words and actions have a more significant impact than we know. One thing leads to another so it’s vital that we look within ourselves and emotionally evolve at our own pace. Yes, we can transform the world. But it starts with us. Take a look at yourself and make the change.

Lilith Opposite Eris - Everything is fine. STOP SAYING EVERYTHING ISN'T FINE!
So I’ve been thinking a lot about Lilith - the point in the Moon's orbit that’s furthest from the Earth. Long story short for those who don’t know - Lilith is calculated in two ways which astrologers generally call Mean, and True. Despite these names there’s no true way to calculate it - both are valid. I tend to use Mean for Personal Reasons.
No, I can’t just leave it at that. I use Mean because I did some digging on the chart of the first person to use Lilith and looked at correlations between where he calculated it was, and where it actually was and the mean calculation was really intensely apt, and it just generally seems to work better for me. Your mileage may vary but sometimes in astrology you have to make a call on something or become obsessed with how vast and confusing the universe is.
Mean or True, Lilith is in Libra. One way to think about Lilith in Libra that I quite like is to think about obsessive peacekeeping. Being on your last nerve and still trying to be friendly when maybe you shouldn’t be. It’s in the nature of Lilith that emotions related to it are imbalanced and aggressive. It can lead to absolutely obsessive behaviour, or an outright rejection of that energy at all. Sometimes both. Someone who obsessively tries to keep the peace and keep things nice can flip and suddenly not be able to handle this at all.
Right now, Eris is pretty much exactly opposite Lilith, and this makes sense to me. The opposition reached 3 degrees on 8 January and will remain so until 5 March. Eris is a Dwarf planet that's almost exactly the size of Pluto. The difference is, Pluto has a big moon to go with it. So, Eris is, to my mind, the best candidate for something with Astrological meaning that's smaller than Pluto. This includes Chiron. It's just a shame we're still learning about it.
One important key phrase I use with it is that Eris is the immovable object. What happens when someone with immovable views negotiates with people who are obsessively keeping the peace? What happens when someone is obsessed with keeping the peace to the extent that they are immovably commited to believing that things are fine?
Eris is pretty damn near conjunct my sun and I noticed this aspect in my personal life first. But I think it maps well to world affairs. We have Democrats dancing in their meetings, we have Keir Starmer negotiating with Trump to keep Britain out of a trade war as though Trump is doing normal politics. Innuendo Studios video on at what point America has crossed the Rubicon into tyranny captures some of the mood I'm seeing. Things look grim but there's a strong motivation to see things as somewhat normal, or to try to make peace with the new world - for instance here in the UK we have politicians like the Health Minister talking about the dangers of anti-whiteness and society not doing enough to cater to white men. Trying to meet MAGA halfway.
The last Conjunction of Lilith and Eris was in Aries in August to September 2020, when Trump was formulating the ideas that would lead to him taking the pretty unprecedented act of trying to overturn an election result in the way he did. He announced his reelection in November 2022 during the square. The next square is April to June 2027 with Lilith in Capricorn so note your diaries.
On a personal level, this is a tough aspect. I'm looking at Venus because it rules Libra. My Venus is in Taurus so I'm resting and trying to find calm in comfort and pleasure. The Aspect will continue within 3 degrees till 5 March. All that time, Venus is in Aries. Ultimately this is making me think that action is a great form of self care for now. Activism can be a necessary part of self care. It allows you to focus on trying to make changes in a sea of news, it connects you with friends, it builds support networks, also, doing stuff can frankly feel good. I mean, take care of yourself and others but if you're feeling this aspect, consider it

Eris ~ In mythology, the Goddess of Strife and Discord and Sister to the God of War.
Her archetype is of the Spiritual Warrior. A feminine warrior who fights for a cause had willingly accompanied her brother Aries into war. Named from the Greek and Roman Pantheon gods and goddesses. Her glyph is a combination of Mars, Venus, and Pluto. In an astrological family dynamic, Mars is the sister to Eris and Pluto, her cousin.
Eris is an outer dwarf planet that's very similar to Pluto. Almost Pluto's twin, in fact! They not only resemble one another in shape and size, but they have a similar orbit, except she takes 556 years to orbit; where Pluto's orbit is 248 years!
Everyone born after 1927 has Eris in the zodiac sign of Aries ♈️ Therefore, the house that she sits in will have the most emphasized effect. Strong Eris in your chart (aspected to natal personal planets 《Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus》) are the activists, the feminists, and the revolutionaries! She greatly intensifies the modality of the advancing sense of soul purpose of the said planet in the chart holder.
Eris in aspect to Jupiter, and Saturn brings in a more social perspective. People with an Eris aspect to Jupiter and Saturn are often drawn to politics, law, community oriented freedom, or have an aspiration to influence the public to find a more important role for spirituality in modern life.
Having Eris aspected to the outer planets(Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, including Chiron), this will bring in a more generational emphasis rather than personal. When those outer planets that are touched by Eris make an aspect to a personal planet, these outer planet energies in the individual will be enhanced, bringing in deep inner work and a soul purpose pursuit.
* aspects are typically regarded as the hard major aspects. Soft & Minor aspects are toned down compared to the conjuct, opposition, and square.

EARTHQUAKES IN TURKEY February 6, 2023
EARTHQUAKES IN TURKEY February 6, 2023
21:28 Ankara time On February 5 at 16⁰41′ in Leo, the term of Saturn, the Full Moon came. Day of the Sun.
9 of the 10 main planets were in the Western hemisphere, EXCEPT THE MOON and 6 in the lower.
3 planets each in the elements of Earth (Mercury, #Uranus, #Pluto) and Air (#Sun, Mars, Saturn). 4 in fixed signs (Sun, #Moon, Saturn, Uranus). #Mercury and Jupiter in Angular houses. In cadence/falling houses, in the 6th house: #Venus, #Saturn, #Neptune (Vertex ibid.) and in the 9th house #Mars.
The Sun is in Aquarius (the day of the Sun, the ruler of Aquarius is Uranus and Saturn), in exile. Vertex at 20 degrees Pisces.
AC 26⁰31′ Virgo (ruler Mercury). In the same degree Saturn (New Moon in the term of Saturn) 26⁰26′ Aquarius (Air). Mercury at 23 degrees Capricorn (Earth element). (Ruler Saturn). As you can see, a lot points to Saturn.
Pars of Fortune is exactly DC in Pisces, 6.5 degrees from the Vertex.
Neptune, ruler of Pisces at 24 degrees Pisces, 3 degrees 15 minutes from DC and Part of Fortune!!!! Jupiter co-ruler of Pisces at 7 degrees Aries.
Vesta at 29 degrees Pisces, term of Saturn. Also at 29 degrees Pluto in Capricorn (again Saturn), Sedna in Taurus, both planets at 28⁰49′ and in exact trine to each other on February 5th. Sedna in conjunction with Lacrimossa (exact aspect February 7).
Moon in quincunx to Vertex - orb 3⁰28′; in quincunx to Mercury-Holynome (Capricorn, Earth, ruler Saturn), orbis 3⁰06′ (Holynome) to the Full Moon and the exact aspect on February 6 - mourning those who died as a result of the tragedy, earthquake, floods; Moon trine Eris (Aries, Fire), exact aspect February 6th.Mercury is 6 degrees 17 minutes from Pluto in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn).
The point of tragedies and catastrophes is at 6⁰16′ of Libra, the term of Saturn, in opposition to Jupiter, in Aries.
Mars (Gemini) square Venus (Pisces).
In addition, on the Full Moon in the sky there was a Moon-Sun T-square at the top with Uranus (Leo-Aquarius-Taurus, Fire-Air-Earth), also at the top of Ankara, which may indicate an unexpected, tragic (Fire element) event for Turkish people. Ankara is in the 4⁰12' orb from Uranus. Ankara is also in an orb of 3 degrees from Rahu and the star Hamal (aggression, cruelty, danger, violent death)
Armenia was also in conjunction with Uranus - during this period there was a conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Lachin corridor, everything was decided through the UN Court; for the first time in 35 years, a land corridor between Armenia and Turkey was opened.
The already mentioned Saturn in Aquarius, 6th house (tragedies, catastrophes, earthquakes, epidemics), in exact conjunction with Bellona (planet of war);
In conjunction with Damocles, a looming threat over the Earth.
In a square with Sedna (Taurus, Earth) - restriction, damage to property, victims, disasters.
Saturn 3 degrees 35 minutes before moving into Pisces. Mercury (ruler of the Full Moon AS) on the 6th day after the Full Moon moves into Aquarius (where Saturn was), February 11.
The first earthquake occurred approximately 6 hours 11 minutes (7 hours went) after the Full Moon, approximately at 4:17 Turkish time (GMT + 3) on the day of the Sun on February 6, at the hour of Mars.
The second with an interval of 9 hours in the southeast of Turkey. Hour of Mercury, AC in Gemini, Moon at ΙC, Saturn near MC. The epicenter of the first, with a magnitude of 7.8 (± 0.1), was in the Shehitkamil area in Gaziantep (Turkey), the epicenter of the second, with a magnitude of 7.5 (± 0.1), was in the Ekinözü area in Kahramanmaras (Turkey). After the earthquakes, several thousand aftershocks were recorded, with the strongest magnitude up to 6.7. As a result of the disaster in Turkey, over 50,500 people died (according to official information), and in Syria - 8476 people, tens of thousands more were injured.
Pluto, while it is in Capricorn, is retro until October 11, 2023, and then only on January 24, 2024 will come out of Capricorn - another earthquake in Turkey is quite possible. At 28⁰49’ Capricorn, Pluto will return on December 13, 2023, when he will again be in trine with Sedna, which will already be retro in Gemini. The exact aspect of January 7, 2024. We have already passed the previous exact aspect on June 13, 2023. The retrophase may repeat the event of February 2023.
Main numbers: 4,6,7,17
Full Moon connection and February 6:
• Full moon at 17 degrees - the earthquake occurred at 4:17, after 6 hours and 11 minutes, on February 6th.
• Aspects between the Moon and the ruler of the Full Moon AS - Mercury, and the Vertex - orb 3⁰24′
• 2 aspects of the Moon indicate February 6th.
• Pars of Fortune exactly on DC in Pisces, 6.5 degrees from the Vertex - places by the water, sympathy for someone else's pain, involvement in a situation of compassion for someone else's loss;
• Jupiter co-ruler of Pisces at 7 degrees Aries.
• Mercury (ruler of the Full Moon AS) is 6 degrees 17 minutes from Pluto in Capricorn (ruler of Saturn) and on the 6th day after the Full Moon moves into Aquarius (where Saturn was), February 11th. The point of tragedies and catastrophes at 6⁰16′ Libra, the term of Saturn. Indicate an event after 6 units. time, since Mercury is a fast planet, it can be minutes, hours, a maximum of a week.
• On the day of the Earthquake, Jupiter was near IC - expanding the range, increasing the impact. Jupiter in conjunction with Chiron - which can further enhance, duplicate the effect (there were 2 strong earthquakes), although the exact aspect on March 12 and the orbis on the day of the tragedy are almost all the same 6 degrees.
By the way, the magnitude of the earthquakes were more than 7 balls (Perhaps Jupiter in Aries, 7-8 degrees). On February 21, two new large earthquakes occurred in Turkey, their magnitudes were 6.4 and 5.8 points, the difference between the shocks was 17 minutes. More than 550 people were injured as a result of the earthquakes - Uranus-Merurius Square, the exact aspect on February 22; Moon 21 degrees Pisces square Mars; Moon in conjunction with Neptune - in both cases, the exact aspect of February 21st. Saturn square Sedna exact aspect February 25th.
Before the earthquake in Turkey, comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) appeared in our solar system.
On the night of February 1-2, comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) passed through the constellation Giraffe. That night, the comet also passed closest to the Earth and reached its maximum brightness (its apparent brightness was about 5)
On the night of February 5-6, comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) passed 1°30' from the star Capella (apparent magnitude 0.1) in the constellation Auriga. The chapel was near the MC in the Full Moon chart. According to Devor, the MC chapel is associated with martyrdom.
On the night of February 21-22, comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) passed 2°30' from the star Tabit (HIP 22449, HR 1543), which has an apparent magnitude of 3.2. Both objects were in the constellation of #Orion.
And now, six months later, another #comet C / 2023 P1 (#Nishimura) is discovered.
September 12: C/2023 P1 (magnitude 2.7) will pass at its minimum distance from #Earth (0.29 AU) in the constellation #Leo (astronomy).
September 17: C/2023 P1 (magnitude 1.7) will reach perihelion in the constellation Virgo (astronomy)

1952-53: Saturn-Neptune conjunction people in Libra
King Maha Vajiralongkorn (28/7/1952)
The King of Thailand (Leo) has been King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) since 2016. Vajiralongkorn means ‘adorned with jewels or thunderbolts’. But he had a reluctant phase on taking the throne. He asked for a delay to be able to mourn with the people the death of his father King Bhumibol. He is trained as a pilot and schooled in Australia, England and the USA. He even threw a 4-day funeral for his pet poodle. But he is a progressive and has given permission for gay marriage in Thailand which is unusual in such a conservative country. What’s fascinating to me is that his Saturn-Neptune is conjunct asteroid Eros, giving it a distinctly sexual flavour. It certainly appears to have promoted rumours about his sexual proclivities and has caused him much scandal including hints of gambling. Thai media law however prevents any criticism of the Royal family which is hugely respected so the details cannot be confirmed. His Saturn-Neptune sandwiches the Moon at the midpoint of the two planets which squares Uranus in Cancer. Plus he has Venus conjunct Pluto in Leo opposite his North Node.
Xi Jinping (15/6/1953) Xi Jinping (Gemini) disappeared for 14 days in 2012 before he reemerged as head of the CCP. Information is scarce about what happened to him. He came from a family of industrialists and his father actually criticised Chairman Mao so he lived through perilous times of the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s. He studied chemical engineering and made contacts in among the military and political personnel he worked with. With patience and a low profile, he rose through the ranks of the CCP to become one of the chief engineers of policy for China. He then disappeared and became head. He is a classic strategic bureaucrat working mainly behind the scenes and with the heavily controlled media in China, it is difficult to confirm that gathering of biometric data has gone too far, rogue electronic parts in solar panels and kettles are entering other countries by the back door, or whether the collapse of the Chinese economy is for real or merely rumoured. His chart is prominent now as Eris and Chiron currently oppose his natal Saturn/Neptune in Libra; and the Pluto opposite Mars is triggering his North Node in Aquarius. He is apparently in a recent announcement he is going to rebuild Yemen which has been destroyed by Western forces.
Tony Blair (6/5/1953) Blair (Taurus) is a British politician who was Prime Minister from 1997-2007. His rise to power is associated with 90s ‘Brittania’ and the death of Lady Diana in 1998 when he spoke to the nation and liaised with the Queen. He was the youngest Prime Minister at age 43. He has a smooth-talking style yet has also been accused of being a war criminal for his role along with Bush Jnr in starting the second Gulf War in 2003. He is forever associated with the phrase ‘weapons of mass destruction’ which turned out not to exist. He converted to Catholicism the day after being Prime Minister sponsored by his wife Cherie. Whether you believe Blair is a force for good or ill, he is arguably more powerful now than he ever was in the Labour party, as he pushes agendas that go contrary to existing governments and public opinion. He has more than 800 staff in 40 countries through his various organisations. His Saturn-Neptune opposes Mercury and Venus in Aries but is also sextile to Pluto in Leo. But that Pluto is opposite his Moon intensifies that polarity rather than softens it. Michael Oldfield (15/5/1953) Oldfield (Taurus) is a music composer from Reading, England. He joined Kevin Ayres band on the bass guitar, but he rose to fame suddenly because of a film (Neptune). His farfisa organ refrain from Tubular Bells was played in ‘The Exorcist’ (1973). He was only 19 when Tubular Bells was released yet he played all of the 20 instruments in its composition but he had started it the year before in November 1972. It starts with a simple motif and then builds slowly and the music expands through all its variations. This created the unsettling tone and atmosphere in that classic film and from that flowed the money for Richard Branson to expand his empire at Virgin Records. Structured music such as Tubular Bells might be a key descriptor Saturn combined with Neptune. His Saturn-Neptune opposes Venus in Aries and squares Uranus in Cancer- that’s a cardinal T Square. But the Saturn-Neptune is also sextile to Pluto in Leo.
Anodea Judith (1/12/1952) Anodea Judith (Sagittarius) is from Ohio. She is a pubic speaker, therapist, yoga teacher and author of several books such as Wheels of Life: A User’s Guide to the Chakra System. She is on the faculty at the Kripalu centre for Yoga and Health. She blends elements of mythology, psychology, bio-energetics, systems theory, biology and mystic spirituality. Even shaman monks on retreats in Bali use Anodea Judith’s ideas for energising the chakra system with crystals placed on that part of the body. So, her influence reaches far and wide. She has one of the signature aspects for Yogis and Yoginis -which is Jupiter square Mars. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction is at the apex of a T. Square with Venus in Capricorn opposite Uranus in Cancer. It is also sextile to Pluto in Leo.
Roseanne Barr (2/11/1952) Roseanne Barr (Scorpio) is TV show host from Salt Lake City, a veteran of the comedy club circuit and a self confessed ‘big mouth’. She says her comedy is ‘political’ and she does not hold back. However, she has struggled with addictions to nicotine and various operations. Her revived show Roseanne was taken off air in 2018 after a tweet she put out about Obama’s senior advisor. The tweet was labelled ‘racist’ which she claims was actually political as her comedy is ‘political’. Her views have dramatically shifted since she was a Democrat in the early 90s. Assisted by her son, she remains in her seventies still stridently outspoken and seemingly unstoppable. The Saturn-Neptune in her chart is sextile to both Venus and Pluto which is powerful (she say she is ‘protected’). But the conjunction is also the apex of a T-Square to Uranus in Cancer and Mars in? so that’s explosive indeed. That’s in addition to a Mercury in Sagittarius opposite the Moon in Gemini.
Caroline Myss (2/12/1952) Myss (Sagittarius) was born just a day after Anodea Judith. She can be an inspiring speaker on subjects like grace, intuition, self development and mystical states of mind. She works as a medical intuitive. She comes out with gems like “Collective events are created by collective psychic free radicals” which is a modern spin on Jung’s theory which proposes that personal neurosis is projected into the collective realm. She often asks you to imagine what it would be like to have her as ‘your spiritual director’ acting like a tough-talking life coach with a strong Chicago accent encouraging any spiritual development. She is also a researcher and teacher specialising in the field of medical intuition, the chakra system, Saint Theresa of Avila and practical mysticism. Her set of Archetypes cards is useful. Her Saturn-Neptune is actually a focal point in her chart as it is at the apex of a T-square squaring Venus in Capricorn and Uranus in Cancer. But it is also one corner of a grand mini-trine with the Moon in Gemini and Pluto in Leo.

My prev solar return
Tumblr media
Leo ascendant: I had a glow up fr. I used to be kindof shabby. Just didn't care what I look like. But this year I began taking care of myself. Also this was a busy year. And the ruler in 4th house as usual my attention was on my family.
Pluto in 6th: I graduated this year and my daily schedule eventually changed.
Jupiter and uranus in 10th: My future plans definetly has changed unexpectedly but I didn't get that much job offers tbh. It might be due them retrograde planets.
Nn, chiron and eris in 9th: I want to go to abroad and I'm still trying waiting for this😔
Mars square ascendant: this was a busy year as I said
Sagittarius mercury: I began learning a new language and venus in 3rd also suggested this I think
Mercury and vertex in 5th: I thought about romance a lot as usual😭 I was expecting something since vertex but nothing happened.
Sun conjunction moon: I think I got better this year mentally.
So I think solar return predicts correctly but still one placement isn't enough the other ones also should indicate the same thing.

Consciousness Calling ~ 31 Oct 2024
Consciousness Calling ~ 31 Oct 2024, Philip Sedgwick
Could we be on the verge of a consciousness shift? In less that three weeks, Pluto enters Aquarius, encouraging a wider view of how all people get along. Considering that Eris induces virtually every person on Earth (all those with natal Eris in Aries) to feel as if they don’t fit in and are not included in the optimal realm they seek, is not an awareness of commonality beneficial to the collective? And assuming that Aquarius prompting does, in fact, come to realize that all people must get along without fear of having ones “due” compromised, there is promise. So, in a perfect world, absolutely a consciousness shift could be at hand if and only the collective figures stuff out.
Tumblr media
As Pluto moves into Aquarius, he hooks up with Haumea in Scorpio through a long, lingering square. Arguably, these two dwarf planets could be considered to be in the quadrature’s orb for the next decade. A short term spark to get people going could do wonders to kindle the process.
And just like that and most fortuitously, a burst of conscious solar attention shines light on all these matters on or about 10 November as the Sun opposes the Perseus-Pisces Supercluster at 19 Taurus 56 and simultaneously conjoins the Hercules Supercluster at 19 Scorpio 15. Sought here is the awareness of how one perceives their performance (or contribution in life) in terms of heroic flourish versus dredging up the vitriol of fans watching their favorite player fail to triumph in a sporting event. Can one hold the ideas that the World Series (misnamed because it involves baseball teams only from North America) brings to our attention? Can one realize that it only takes only one pitch to get the hit that wins the contest? All it takes is relying upon ones disciplined practice, accumulated knowledge and riding the flow of the moment with perfectly instinctive timing.
So for all those social media types out there, grasp the Taurus/Scorpio supercluster polarity propellant. Realize how long the promise of something great can last before announcing the goods. Timing is everything. Those who post strategically, relying upon instinct and knowing that the goods they deliver hold value, merit and range well beyond ethical, get the most business and viral likes from the collective. Hitting the sweet spot of need with an awareness of fulfillment is key.
Must this all happen now? Given the way things are, yes. It could be that the universe presently pings all persons with a blast of consciousness that could take a modest amount of time to assimilate and integrate. But indeed, sooner is better.
In relatively short order, on 1 February, the Moon, Neptune, Venus and the north node do the sardines in a tin can thing and slip around in the oil of Pisces very conjunctly while squaring the Galactic Center’s Sagittarian position rather precisely. Neptune’s in position now. Venus, also one of the sardines of the future, directly aligns with the Galactic Center in a week or so, just before the Sun shines light upon the polarity between above noted superclusters. In another week or so, the insight required for instinctive enhancement and unabated imagination appears because of Venus on the GC square Neptune. The insights likely challenge the veracity of entrenched beliefs. With conscious consideration, a fluid transition from dogma to including inspired intrigue more easily unfolds. Such consideration naturally leads to personal evolution and personal creative discovery. Within the fortnight, triggers and marching orders appear. Between now and the first of February, subtle developmental thoughts continue to enhance all pings and directives. Like brush strokes to a large canvas the painting emerges, and with it the evocative impact of that intentional, attentive expression.
All this occurs as Pluto in Aquarius and Haumea in Scorpio squeeze each other in all the right places. A series of realizations pop out from this squeeze.
Get creative, and each and every day, engage creativity as if it were the last day possible to do so. Given full application of all creative expression, a personal place for display of all talents will be created at the table of life. Ones personal nature is organically full of nurturing instinct and respectful care for those now experiencing downtrodden patches in life. Revenge and retaliation accomplish no good. It is necessary to distinguish between ones soulful inner circle and others, without the need to disqualify or discriminate against those outside ones tribe. Trust in ones self healing abilities and correction skills must remain intact. Rely upon the knowing that despite the hardships of any life crisis, one will emerge with an enhanced allure. Establish a check list for appropriate personal engagement. Engage no activity that does not tick the list. Create an inner instinct for sensing when to show up and the best offerings of ones abilities at precisely the perfect time.
With the application of all galactically fortifying messages received, one may personally, directly and consciously contribute to the evolution of the planet. It may not be simple, but the prompts engaged that serve to better all people, the planet and beyond, are downright heroic… as the solar-supercluster transits underscoring the next two weeks portend.
More soon.

Transiting Mars enters Virgo
Tuesday, June 17 - Wednesday, August 6, 2025
The main thing I want everyone to take away from this, is that - especially during the first 10 days of this transit - it’s an excellent time to start building our skills (Virgo) with Mars’ stuff. If we can take a disciplined, patient approach, always building on our progress, we’ll have so much to show for it come August.
Mars in Virgo can be Mars on a health kick, or Mars as Mr. Fix-It. Knowing our own personal Mars weakness is usually pretty easy (it’s the most straightforward planet). So let’s work on that!
Most of the problems we run into with Mars in this sign, are the same as with Mars in any other Mutable sign: distractability, scattering our efforts, and good old commitment-phobia.
Physical strength - focusing on a fitness regimen which emphasizes flexibility is ideal. We’re looking to become healthier, not necessarily body builders.
Energy levels - can fluctuate; I think wrapping our heads around that truth, and learning to work with it, can be useful. If you’re too tired out, who else can get it done?
Sexuality - don’t know how you all feel, but finding someone who’s detail-oriented and precise in this department, would be heavenly.
How we go after what we want - always a plan! Or several plans; or a very detailed, scripted, careful plan. Can be excellent for learning more and better strategies. Maybe download a chess app?!
Allow a few days on either side of these dates:
Thursday, June 19 - Friday, June 27:
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Saturn/Aries, 1°29’
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Neptune/Aries, 2°07’
Mars/Virgo sextile Jupiter/Cancer, 2°52’
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Pluto Rx/Aquarius, 3°18’
Mars/Virgo sextile Sun/Cancer, 5°14’
Mars/Virgo sextile Vesta/Scorpio, 6°04’
This is the situation which sets up the entire transit. There are a couple of things going on. First, Mars is the apex of a Yod, inconjunct Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and Pluto Rx/Aquarius. Events in the wider world force us into new/different ways of acting (Mars).
The second thing is Mars at the midpoint of a trine between the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer, and Vesta in Scorpio - energy just begging to be dedicated to something. Part of this process of honing a more skillful Mars, should be directed at building better boundaries.
Saturday, July 5 - Monday, July 7:
Mars/Virgo (10°42’) sesquiquad Eris/Aries (25°42’)
Mars/Virgo (11°56’) sesquiquad Chiron/Aries (26°56’)
A Sag Moon is going to aggravate this one. Maybe we haven’t progressed as far, or as rapidly, as we wanted to. “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and all that - be patient and keep working.
Friday, July 11 - Mars/Virgo inconjunct Ceres/Aries, 14°10’. Mars and Ceres are in each other’s signs, strengthening the energy. Don’t let “perfect” be the enemy of “good enough.”
Tuesday, July 15 - Thursday, July 17:
Mars/Virgo sextile Juno/Scorpio, 16°17’
Mars/Virgo (17°45’) sesquare Pluto Rx/Aquarius (2°45’)
The next two “situations” bring relationships into the picture. Here, we’re happy to be helpful and cooperative - but there’s an undercurrent; we’re a little suspicious, or the other person is. Be honest and work past/through it.
Monday, July 21 -
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Pallas Rx/Aquarius, 19°59’
Mars/Virgo opposite North Node/Pisces, conjunct South Node/Virgo, 20°45’
Mars/Virgo square Venus/Gemini, 21°01’
The most likely scenario here is commitment-phobia. A past relationship we should have let go of a long time ago? Someone from the past wanting to get things rekindled? A little gender confusion? Remember your sense of humor - try not to take things so seriously.
Wednesday, July 30 -
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Eris Rx/Aries, 25°43’
Mars/Virgo inconjunct Chiron Rx/Aries, 27°10’
Ending the transit uncomfortably, alas, but that’s part of the process. It isn’t enough to merely learn something; we have to maintain it, too. And a Mars which has learned a little humility - in lieu of its usual abarasiveness - will be able to keep going and accomplish much more than a hot-headed oaf.

Full moon in Aries will be here soon.
Venus in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces - ease of flow in emotions and intuition, creative channels opening, self expression of feelings. Moon in Pisces is conjunct Neptune. Put on your favorite song, watch your favorite movie. Eat, sleep & breathe art.
You know Neptune gets a bad rap, but I really love Neptune. While Pluto rules the unconscious, Neptune rules the subconscious (alongside the Moon)- subconscious meaning everything below the surface of conscious awareness. Plus Neptune is the higher vibration of Venus- unconditional love, spiritual love, selfless love. Neptune also rules illusions, escapism & delusions but we are not talking about that rn.
Moon enters Aries joining the North Node, Chiron & Eris. Pioneer with your insecurities and fears in tow. Embrace independence and individuality. Put yourself first. Turn on sport mode.
There’s an active comet ☄️ in the sky? With a full moon in Aries square a fallen Mars? Let’s see what happens.
Venus in Sagittarius, come through my baby.

astro notes: daily transits & horoscopes 10/29
Tuesday begins on a tense note as Mars and Saturn form a sesquiquadrate, emphasizing feelings of restriction and frustration. This aspect can bring up control issues, leaving many feeling helpless or agitated. Meanwhile, a possessive Venus-Pluto semi-square adds emotional intensity, potentially provoking jealousy or possessive thoughts, and heightening the desire to escape from uncomfortable situations. Though honesty may prevail in evening conversations, the Mercury-Eris quincunx warns that discussions could be explosive and unfiltered, amplifying raw emotions.
Rising Sign Delineations:
Aries Rising The day opens with Mars, your chart ruler, clashing with Saturn from your 5th and 12th houses, possibly creating inner frustrations over creative projects or romantic connections. Venus in your 6th house forms a semi-square to Pluto, highlighting possessiveness in work relationships. Use this evening to channel honesty, but be mindful with words, as the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 2nd house may lead to blunt financial discussions.
Taurus Rising With Mars-Saturn affecting your 4th and 11th houses, tensions could arise between home responsibilities and social commitments. Venus, your ruler, in the 5th house semi-square to Pluto in the 9th may stir jealousy in romantic or creative areas. Aim for honesty with loved ones in the evening, but be cautious with the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 1st house, as words may come out sharper than intended.
Gemini Rising The Mars-Saturn sesquiquadrate between your 3rd and 10th houses could slow down communications or career progress. Meanwhile, Venus in the 4th house semi-square Pluto may bring underlying family tensions or possessiveness to the surface. Evening conversations may be revealing, but the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 12th house suggests keeping a handle on your words to avoid unnecessary conflicts.
Cancer Rising With the Mars-Saturn sesquiquadrate affecting your 2nd and 9th houses, frustrations could arise regarding finances or travel plans. Venus in your 3rd house forms a semi-square to Pluto in the 7th, hinting at possessive thoughts in partnerships. While honesty prevails in the evening, be careful with the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 11th house, as it may lead to blunt exchanges with friends or groups.
Leo Rising Mars in your 1st house sesquiquadrate to Saturn in the 8th may cause a sense of restriction or frustration with personal power and shared resources. With Venus in the 2nd house semi-square Pluto in the 6th, possessive feelings may arise regarding money or work. The evening Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 10th house may amplify blunt conversations in professional settings, so aim to temper your words.
Virgo Rising The Mars-Saturn sesquiquadrate between your 12th and 7th houses could bring hidden frustrations in relationships. Venus in your 1st house semi-square Pluto in the 5th may stir possessiveness in romantic or creative matters. Honest conversations in the evening could help, but with Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 9th house, your words might be more intense, especially regarding beliefs or perspectives.
Libra Rising With the Mars-Saturn sesquiquadrate activating your 11th and 6th houses, social obligations and work responsibilities may clash, causing stress. Venus in your 12th semi-square Pluto in your 4th hints at buried jealousy or possessive feelings in family dynamics. Evening conversations could bring clarity, but the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 8th house suggests caution to avoid triggering intense reactions.
Scorpio Rising Mars in your 10th sesquiquadrate Saturn in your 5th house may bring restrictions to creative projects or career aspirations. Venus in your 11th house semi-square to Pluto in your 3rd warns of possessiveness in friendships or group settings. Evening discussions may turn intense due to the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 7th house, especially within close partnerships.
Sagittarius Rising The Mars-Saturn sesquiquadrate between your 9th and 4th houses may bring frustrations around travel, education, or family responsibilities. Venus in your 10th house semi-square Pluto in your 2nd can stir possessive feelings related to financial security. Be honest in evening conversations, but watch out for the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 6th house, as work-related exchanges could become heated.
Capricorn Rising Mars in your 8th house sesquiquadrate Saturn in your 3rd could lead to frustrations in communications around shared resources. Venus in your 9th house semi-square Pluto in your 1st might trigger possessiveness over beliefs or personal viewpoints. Evening conversations are bound to be revealing, but the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 5th house suggests avoiding impulsive responses in romantic or creative exchanges.
Aquarius Rising With Mars-Saturn affecting your 7th and 2nd houses, tensions may arise regarding resources or partnership dynamics. Venus in the 8th house semi-square Pluto in the 12th warns of buried jealousy or insecurity. Evening conversations could provide clarity, but the Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 4th house may bring an edge to family discussions, so speak with care.
Pisces Rising Mars in your 6th house sesquiquadrate Saturn in the 1st could trigger frustrations at work or with self-discipline. Venus in your 7th house semi-square Pluto in the 11th may raise jealousy or possessive feelings within friendships or partnerships. Honesty is favored in the evening, but with Mercury-Eris quincunx in your 3rd house, approach sensitive topics with caution to avoid misunderstandings.

Outer Planet Astrology 6 November Week
Tumblr media
I’m going to try doing this again - it’s nice to do a bit of writing and follow the aspects of my favourite dwarf planets.
I don’t follow Pluto because while it’s pretty much the same as Eris in size - it’s covered by a lot more people. However it’s really active in the energies of other Dwarf planets this week. It’s a very Plutonian battle for survival kind of week, so lets get into it.
Eris
Eris is very much in its retrograde and this is interesting because it’s also conjunct the North Node - the speed of the two points are roughly the same and they’ve been within a 1 degree conjunction since 29 August and will remain so until 14 December. The way these two points have lined up to keep this going is pretty rare - the closest I can see to this was in 1968.
Eris can often be about standing your ground and fighting for your space, and conjunct the North Node it will be aiming for that survival. This time round that came to a fore when Mars opposed Eris and Hamas attacked Israel sparking off Israel’s brutal reprisals. Last time round, when Mars trined Eris the USSR invaded Czechoslovakia.
So we have real fight or die energy present and on Saturday the Moon will oppose this. We may be looking at emotional exhaustion and an attempt to balance the high energies we’ve had over the past month.
Sedna
Sedna is on a slow retrograde. It starts the week just ten minutes into Gemini and by the end, it’s 6 minutes into Gemini.Sedna will re-enter Taurus this month - a sign it’s been in since 1965 and only just left.
On Wednesday, Sedna will have an exact trine with Venus. There’s also a less exact trine to Pluto, making this a grand trine. This feels to me like an opportunity to interrogate values - why you hold them and whether they serve you. Added to all this, there’s a close square between Saturn and Sedna. Which makes me think we’re not just interrogating our values, we’re jettisoning some of them. The bad end of this could be getting rid of your moral code. The positive is very similar - how many scruples do we hold that aren’t healthy? Can we get rid of them?
On Thursday the Moon will meet Venus. This could make things more emotional, if this whole thing shows up in your chart. This could be a useful time to consider things but on Friday Mercury is opposite Sedna. This could create a situation where people let their ethics get in the way of doing the right thing. Excluding people for being immoral when they might need us. Offering the enemy no quarter when we may actually need to come to a compromise.
Orcus
Orcus is sextile the Sun for the end of the week, becoming exact next Sunday. The Sun is at 16 degrees of Virgo. This may be a time to get lost in your thoughts and interests, if you’re susceptible to this aspect and feel like indulging. Or if you can’t avoid doing so.
Gonggong
Gonggong closely opposes Lilith all week. Lilith in Virgo is such an odd symbol - the Virgo is the Virgin, and Lilith is the OG monster fucker. I feel that Lilith in Virgo is Lilith throwing itself into doing the right thing so deeply that it loses itself a bit. Or rejects it entirely. This may be morals, but it could also be self care: having a twenty part skin care regime or saying fuck it and buying some cigarettes.
Gonggong is a planet of revelations currently swimming in emotional Pisces at 4 degrees. If this interacts with your chart it may emerge as a realisation on what you can and can’t manage. It may be a time when you flip between too much dieting and self-care, and not enough. Or vice versa.
Haumea
Haumea is trine Saturn within 1 degree - Haumea, an egg shaped world of growth and expansion, is at zero degrees of Capricorn. On Saturday, it trines Saturn in Pisces. This sounds quite nice, a chance to reduce your expectations for growth and live within your means. Something we maybe need at the moment. Haumea is square to Pluto all of this time, which feels honestly awkward because that means it’s semisextile Saturn. Haumea may have a sense of expand or die, while Pluto absolutely can’t see why Saturn is trying to put on the breaks.
The Outer Planets Weather
The key concept for the week seems to be values - are they good? Even if they are, can we afford them? Eris and the North Node gives us a sense that now is the time to push forward if we want to be able to hold our ground. However, this has been going on for an age and this week offers some chances to step back and reconsider. Or be exhausted and give up. Consider your options carefully

The biggest news this week is the continuing challenging square aspect between Pluto and the lunar nodes. This aspect began a couple of weeks ago and continues into this week. The lunar nodes represent the direction of fate from past to future, with the south node representing the past and the north node pointing towards our future direction. There are different ways to get to the future, and when Pluto, planet of transformation, is challenging the nodes we may find ourselves at a crossroads. Or perhaps there is an event that seems small but which eventually changes the trajectory of our lives. Some astrologers have noted that the Aries North Node is about to meet up with Eris, planet of discord. Eris and Pluto formed a challenging square aspect in early 2020, and the last few years have indeed been full of all kinds of discordant events. Covid-19, election denial – these seeds of discord blow up the paradigm and make it necessary to begin anew. We have only to look to the goddess Eris, who through her jealousy began the Trojan War. This week’s planetary aspect are pretty mild. There are a number of harmonious solar aspects which can enhance our understanding and ability to see clearly. Venus is fairly active too as it retrogrades back through Leo and encourages us to reconsider our relationships and values. My general advice for this week is to consider the path that our lives are on. Do we have a sense of purpose, and if not how can we bring this into being? If we have a clear idea of where we are headed, have we packed the right gear? Do we have the right travel companions? If we are on an incorrect course, with Pluto square the nodes this week we may find blocks in the road that are actually messages to change course.
