Synastry Observations: Frenemy/"enemy" edition part 1

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional astrologer, this purely my observation based on repetitive patterns I notice within the signs, placements, houses etc. Take what I say with a grain of salt and understand not every astrology observation will resonate.

↳Heavy 8th House Synastry and/or negatively aspected 2H synastry↴

This one is a doosey. Personally, I never had 8H synastry with anyone that I have ever considered a friend, but I have seen this play out with other friendships. This synastry can suggest an imbalance of give and take, as well as a friendship that can be "obsessive". Feelings of jealousy, envy, and even resentment build over time. I've seen this also manifest as jealousy over the person's other friends, family, and sometimes even romantic partners. Very karmic & a difficult bond to break, but it could also be very emotionally harmful. It also highly depends on the emotional state of the people involved, especially the emotional state of the house person as they seem to be the most "reactive" in this situation.

↳Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus in 12H↴

These placements can definitely indicate secrecy created in a friendship dynamic. Either the friendship itself is kept secret, or one/both parties feel suspicious of the other, no matter how much time has passed or trust has been earned. Another heavily karmic synastry aspect to have. Usually the planet person is more aware of the pain each other causes, but the house person also feels the intensity. A lot can be ruined due to misunderstandings with this placement, but in the same regard -- this placement does also indicate two people who are magnetically connected, but eventually have their perception of each other morphed over time into something more negative. Truth be told, both parties see each other in a more "tainted" and deluded way as time goes on because both parties are secretive about their suspicions. Suspicion left undiscussed only has room to grow. Not always the case, but when this manifests in an "ex-friendship" or in a synastry chart of frenemies, its easier to see the ways either one or both have deceived each other in a connection. I've also noticed specifically with Moon/Mercury (sometimes venus) in 12H synastry shows how one person "prys" in the other's life. For example, having Mercury in 12H synastry could mean that one person oversteps and over-inquires about the other. Maybe this person listens to, inspires, encourages, or spreads misinformation about the other. Or, this person generally feels "superior" in the themes of mercury like communication, travel, intelligence, logic, etc. It also gives "pick me" vibes, or like those female friends you have that enjoy laughing at you or embarrassing you around others for validation. Icky.

↳Chiron conjunct personal planets and/or the nodes↴

These aspects are the definition of fated to me. When this is present in the chart of two frenemies, I know these two really hurt each other in various ways. When its chiron conjunct sun/moon for instance, I see a lot of damage to the ego, and self-confidence when dealing with each other. One person feels massively insecure in the presence of the other, and in enemy cases, its almost as if one person (usually chiron person) clings onto sun person even if chiron person harbors hate, bitterness, or resentment towards the sun person. Chiron conjunct personal planets can bring a lot of instability on so many levels -- on a soul level, physical / material level, emotional level, 3D, 5D etc etc. These connections are usually very painful because at one point in time, these two individuals could have been very close or trusted each other, and things took a left turn when both began to trigger each other. I've also seen this in complicated friendships where the two are not exactly true friends, or honest/genuine friends to each other, but there's a weird sense of loyalty toward one another. Maybe you two are in secret competition, and you feel the other person does not like you. Typically you would end communication with someone like this, but with this person, you find excuses for them and reasons to remain in their energy. kinda odd tbh. Chiron conjunct the nodes says all the same but speaks more so to the soul missions of the individuals. This could mean you both agreed to be here to have problems and to learn lessons together lol. But with chiron conjunct NN/SN, the connection will feel very electric but will most likely fizzle out over time.

↳Busy 3H synastry / lilth 3H / Chiron 3H / Pluto 3H / Neptune 3H↴

Ugh, the gossip. The lies. The bullying. the fakeness. This synastry is like toxic sibling rivalry except they're supposed to your friend. When you have this synastry with a frenemy, you will experience a lot of bs from them and vice versa. These placements also suggest heavy gossip about each other and usually what's being talked about involves the rough stuff. I am talking, the stuff you told this person with confidence that they'd never tell a soul. These people can hit below the belt when they're scorned. I've seen these enemies being very direct towards each other as well, so not only is there open gossip involved, this person will also own up to it! They're the type to be like "yeah b!tcH! I said that. Do you want me to repeat myself??" very confrontational, which could also lead to yelling matches or serious mutual moments of rage. Lilith in 3H is roughest when it comes to exposing the other person's darkness when scorned. When you have this aspect with someone, you should probably be cautious of what you tell them because you might think they forgot, but really, they just stored it in the back of their mind to use for later. Pluto 3H will force one or both people to evolve in terms of how they communicate -- harsh lessons about communication, connection, community, and even relationships with others come from this aspect. Chiron in 3H (and even Neptune 3H) will really put you through the ringer. You will have to go through hardships that can constantly trigger your communication and intelligence wound with this person. One last thing I have noticed is that these people were (or still are to a weird degree) typically close to the point where their families are very intertwined with one another. This can manifest as one or both of them getting each other's families (specifically cousins and siblings) involved with their drama, or "picking sides".

Astro Notes 2

2H Plutos have the universe with them financially. Even when they reach a low point financially, the universe always catches them. Ei, a 2H Pluto naive has $20 in their bank account, a few days later they get an additional $150. Then a few days later, they get an additional $300.

Don’t mess with someone with a Cancer Moon with an Aries Mars. They know express and feel their emotions and how to translate them and aren’t going to hesitate when needing to express themselves. Especially when they’re yelling at someone. You can see and feel the impact and how they’re feeling and their anger is very intimidating. NGL, they’re kinda scary when they’re mad.

Moon in 8H, 12H, 6H or weakened Moons can indicate insomnia. 

Although Pisces may be good in the 5H, navies with this placement may feel self-doubt or have a god complex if they choose to indulge into the arts, creativity, & possibly even when it comes to how they view children.

Pisces moon coupled with earth, especially Capricorn, are unrivaled when it comes to philosophical and social breakthroughs. they have the spiritual awareness and collective vision of Pisces hand in hand with the objectivity and discipline of earth signs, and they can therefore be masters at deconstructing the functioning of society and the psyche. it’s such a consistent pattern with notable examples such as Joan of Arc (Cap Sun and Mercury), Benjamin Franklin (Taurus Saturn, Cap Venus & Sun), Henry Dunant who founded the red cross movement (Taurus Sun and Mercury, Cap stellium), Edgar Allan Poe considered to have invented the detective fiction genre and one of the earliest contributors to the genre of sci-fi (cap sun and mercury, Pisces stellium).

Venus conjunct Mercury could purchase books just because they look pretty and aesthetically pleasing lol. The type to look for the prettiest hardcover of a book to get.

Pisces stelliums with mercury, especially if it's retrograde, have such a hard time staying focused during a conversation, other people might think they're actively ignoring them but they just can't stay attentive for too long unless it's something they wanna know more about 😭 lowkey adorable when it’s not annoying lol.

A Virgo/gemini moon is a common placement amongst rappers known for being fast. Whether it's Doja Cat, Busta Rhymes, Min Yoongi, or Dizzee Rascal… after all, the moon (emotions and the inner mind) is ruled by fast-paced mercury (an exception would be if natal mercury was deeply afflicted). Jupiter conjunct Mercury as well can indicate the same.

5h moon transits are the times when you start to develop a crush or meet up with friends, decide to practice a particular hobby, binge tv shows/movies or read books, etc… one of my fave transits particularly because my 5h is in Pisces so I spend this transit often reading and consuming/creating art, and being delusional 🤭.

3h Pluto transit can indicate a gradual shift in your mindset, gradual because it’s a very long transit. It can either be positive or negative depending on how both your natal and transit pluto aspect your natal chart + transits. As my 3rd house is in Capricorn squaring my Aries moon, I spent this transit working on my work ethic and long-time consistency, as well as my self-esteem being dependent on how much I achieve and not my thoughts and core beliefs as a person (natal 2h pluto is in Sagittarius).

12h Leo can be such a humble bragger, and very obviously so… the type to complain about how being pretty sucks because guys like them too fast, or about how being rich isn’t easy, etc… I have six friends with this placement and only one isn’t like this but they’re also far older and more mature.

9th house in cancer people are very likely to be feminists or just very passionate about gender equality if the moon is well-aspected. If not, and if Venus and IC were not well-aspected, they could be deeply misogynistic and against gender emancipation.

this whole time I've been like saturn saturn saturn meanwhile uranus has been sifting through my life with her dirty little fingers!!

Once upon a time on March 6, 2019 Uranus entered Taurus and took a vow to be a nuisance in my life for the next 6 years!

Tomorrow Uranus is going to be exact on my 3H until June 15 and I'm expecting something to happen with my neighbors that is going to be the most annoying thing I've ever dealt with. adaptability: these people adapt better than most - their ambitions make them search for the best way to grow and become the best person they can possibly be.

siblings: these people may have an older sibling who they can be very close to; there is a tendency to brag and be loyal to this sibling (idolizing). oftentimes, these people have their popularity paved for them by an older sibling in a school setting.

mercury / gemini (3°, 15°, 27°) / virgo (6°, 18°)

adaptability: like moon 3h people this placement has an incredible ability to adapt to any and all new circumstances. their brain is fabulously immune to overly fight or flight parasympathetic responses - they always appear to be calm and collected; often they give off an air of nonchalance.

siblings: these people are likely to have quite a few brothers - or to be a part of a heavily masculine dominated groups/hobbies (football, wrestling, nascar, golf, etc.).

communication (style), gossip, and rumors: often they have a nack for languages - they are polyglots. they can appear as though they are absentminded or forgetful, but, in reality, they are often the smartest or the most clever person in the room - they communicate accurately, articulately, and with plenty of detail. they often have hot takes and extreme opinions - funnily enough these people may talk eloquently and formally (as though they have the highest intelligence in the room), but they will be the first person to curse or state that education is a waste of time. otherwise, these people are incredible to have a conversation with (my academic advisor has this placement and she is probably the most intelligent person i have ever met). they are often gossips in that regard - they like to tell stories, very little gets in their way when doing so. their voice is often very clear, loud, and articulate. their diction perfectly captures their wit.

hobbies, literature, writing, and documentaries: they are again a part of a heavily masculine dominated group and hobbies (football, wrestling, nascar, golf, etc.). they tend to read copiously - they read anything they can get their hands on. they frequently read more than they watch in terms of movies/tv. these people often publish something - fiction, research, educational (like textbooks), journalism, memoirs, etc. they are natural storytellers. their writing is often small and neat - i have noticed often they only write in cursive or very tightly together - i believe it has to do with the speed of producing writing.

venus / taurus (2°, 14°, 26°) / libra (7°, 19°)

adaptability: these people are optimist - they are often the ones that manifest their way through things. with the power of love, hope, and positivity, they survive most everything. they adapt best in social settings - they are great at improv and adapting to the company around them.

siblings: these people often have younger siblings and commonly they have sisters. though they often have drama amongst one another.

travel (airway, automobiles, boats, bicycles, and running/walking): these are staycationers - i find that they often enjoy going to local spots like bed and breakfasts. but if not, they are going wherever the culture is the most readily available - they don't like to experience the tourist side of any place they go; they want to be with the locals! they travel by any means necessary to get there too. these people like to cutesify their car - they probably have crystals, a stuffed animal / riding buddy, car vent clips, etc.

communication (style), gossip, and rumors: these people are natural actors/actresses, so it is difficult to say whether or not they are being genuine. they are often involved with some form of drama. other than that, they often are elegant and formal where communication is concerned. their charisma often makes them appear flirtatious!

concentration, education, ideas, power of perception, teachers, and written test taking: these people are the type that rewrite their notes to be more aesthetic. they often have a high aptitude where the arts are concerned - they do best in the humanities (particularly english - these are the people who naturally understood shakespeare in school). these people are natural people watchers, they use the actions modeled before them for a later time (especially those who enjoy acting).

hobbies, literature, writing, and documentaries: these people are artists by nature: they are thespians, dancers/ballerinas, painters, band members (often i see piano with this placement though), etc. some just have an immense collection of all things related to music. they love costumes, clothing in general, and cosmetics. these people sometimes are cheerleaders or they take part in another hobby/activities that is dominated by feminine individuals. they also are the type that do a lot of wine tasting when they are of an older age - they are the type that takes a trip to the vineyard. they love to read/watch/write dramas, erotica, romance, and foreign films.

mars / aries (1°, 13°, 25°) / scorpio (8°, 20°)

adaptability: these people have choices when it comes to what they will and won't change for. they can be ambitious enough to change with their surroundings and circumstances. but they can also be argumentative/obstinate and fight against the circumstance in which it could be easiest to simply let go.

☆ Aquarius Mercuries hate being silenced for having different opinions, they're the ones always ready to fight for their ideals and it's very difficult to make them change an idea, they can be very stubborn about their beliefs.

Those with Venus in the 3H can be extremely sweet in the way they speak to others - these people are often very verbally affectionate, especially with those closest to them. Compliments from them can feel particularly validating.

Cancer Moons tend to be babied a lot - people assuming they're more sensitive than they are, thinking their feelings need to be protected, etc. Their vulnerability is often exaggerated in the minds of others.

Having Saturn or Mercury in/ruling the 2H can allow a person to detach from material possessions quite easily; they tend to approach this area of life with logic + practicality and are often able to throw items away with little hesitation (Mercury likely even more so than Saturn, as Saturn's rigidity can hold them back here.)

3H Neptune may be especially prone to dropping things.

Those with Jupiter-Mercury aspects tend to have a funny way with words - something about the way they speak just tickles people. Ayo Edebiri, who has her Mercury sextile Jupiter, is a great example of this. Kate McKinnon as well (Mercury conjunct Jupiter). These individuals often have great comedic timing and aren't afraid to go big in order to get a laugh.

Having Venus in or ruling the 4H can indicate a person being somewhat of a mediator within their family - always trying to keep the peace, encouraging family members to connect, etc. Family is often very important to these people.

2H Moons love providing for others - cooking for people, gifting things, just generally making sure those around them are well taken care of. They'll do anything to bring comfort and safety to their loved ones, and often find a lot of emotional fulfillment in doing so.

Capricorn Mars can be very presumptuous in that they think they're in charge everywhere they go. This can definitely get on people's nerves but in all fairness if any placement deserves to be in charge it's probably this one - if nothing else, a cap mars knows how to get things done.

THE TYPES OF CHART DRAWINGS:

THE DIAMOND STYLE (left image) AND THE BOX STYLE (right image).

The Diamond style Chart is also known as the North Indian chart style. The Box style Chart is also known as the South Indian chart style.

IF ONE FEELS DRAWN MORE TOWARDS USING THE DIAMOND CHART TO READ CHARTS THEN THEY HAVE A STRONG VENUS.

IF ONE FEELS DRAWN MORE TOWARDS USING THE BOX CHART, THEN THEIR JUPITER IS STRONG IN THE CHART.

• First, in Vedic astrology we have charts for different areas of our life which is the D2 chart, D3 chart, and so on till the D60 chart but mainly for our life overall we consider our birth chart which is divided in two, that is:

✓Lagna chart = from birth to 28 years

✓Navama chart = 28 years to death.

>In Vedic astrology, Neptune, Pluto, and uranus are not considered.

>There are no asteroids in Vedic astrology like Eros, Fama and so on. Ketu behaves like Neptune, Rahu behaves like Uranus and Mars behaves like Pluto.

FOR SOUTH INDIAN CHART and NORTH INDIAN CHART:

Some notes:

• Moon and Mercury are the most imbalanced planets in Vedic astrology, hence there can be a lot of imbalance wherever they are seated. Things hardly ever seem stable in that area of your life.

• Saturn and Sun are enemies because the Sun [who is shani's (Saturn) dad] burnt his mother, Chaaya, right in front of him. Saturn really really really hates the Sun.

• In Vedic astrology Venus and Jupiter are enemies because Jupiter is the god of the Devas (gods) and Venus is the god of the Asuras (demons).

• Rahu does the best when seated in the 6th house and Ketu in the 12th.

• Saturn, Mars and Rahu in the 12th house is a bad combination to have because it makes a person very negative in nature, they are always complaining, never satisfied with anything or anyone, are always lecturing others, are not patient, is a hypocrite, etc.

• Mercury in the 5th house makes one look younger than their age. They age very very very slowly.

• Venus in the 12th house natives get married at a young age (22 or 23 years old).

• Jupiter in the 12th house makes the native the 'diamond in the rough'.

• Mars in the 1st house natives will most likely become bald because this causes really serious hairfall.

• In Vedic astrology it's always either Sun who is strong in the chart or Saturn who is strong. Both cannot be strong.

• Mercury and Rahu together in the 12th house can cause serious mental health issues and lack of emotional support from others.

• Ketu and Venus when seated together becomes a very sad placement. A lot of one sided love in the persons life. This is because Ketu and Venus are complete opposites, Ketu is a very detached planet that is not at all interested in love and romance while Venus is a very sensual and romantic planet who craves connection. The person will crave love but will most of the time face heartbreaking situations with others.

• Sun in 12th house causes eyesight issues mainly with the right eye. Moon in the 12th house causes eyesight issues mostly with the left eye. [Sun is the right eye while Moon is the left eye].

• Rahu in the 12th or 4rth definitely indicates foreign settlement.

• Mars in houses 1st, 4rth, 7th,8th or 12th makes the person a Manglik and this seriously hinders their marital life and entire life in general. This placement gets nullified to some extent when a benefic planet such as Moon is aspecting Mars.

• Rahu in the 4rth house makes a natives mother cunning and selfish. This makes a persons mom know how to play their cards well.

• Mars in the 4rth indicates an abusive household and even an abusive mother, be it verbally abusive, physically abusive, etc.

• Mercury in the 1st house makes a person very chatty and talkative.

• Saturn in 5th can indicate having a love marriage and going against ones parents for it or eloping and getting married.

• Mars in the 9th house can make one an atheist. I have seen this in many atheists chart.

• Mercury in the 5th house can make one very good at learning languages and are good with miniature art. Like they can draw very detailed art.

• When any planet sits with the Sun, the Sun let's them shine and gives them more power to be prominent in the chart.

• When a planet sits with Rahu or Ketu they are overshadowed by them, like an eclipse. That's why Rahu and Ketu are known as the shadow planets.

• Rahu in the 12th house can cause sleeping issues like insomnia and mental stress.

• Moon in the 4rth house Natives are naturally very inclined towards their mother.

• Sun in the 12th house Natives never had a father figure in their life. An absent father figure but they are always looking up to their father and seeking his validation which of course they will never get.

• The planet in 11th house can show what kind of friends you have, ex: Saturn can indicate having a small friend circle and also indicates having older friends. If one has moon in the 11th house,then there will always be ups and downs in friendships.
