5K EVENT SPECIAL | EVENT MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
“Yuuta. Yuuuuta.”
Rika’s voice echoed in the quiet hall. Yuuta winced, wishing Rika would keep it down; it was 2 AM, and no one would appreciate being woken up around this hour. But he knew that if he said so, Rika would be sad, and he didn’t want to hurt Rika and cause a worse scene.
“I’m fine, Rika-chan, really,” Yuuta murmured.
Rika growled unhappily. Yuuta, too, knew that he was lying. Although his wounds weren't life-threatening, he still needed to get them treated before they got infected. But Yuuta had just come back to this room—he was so, so tired. Sleeping in wouldn’t hurt anyone but him, right?
“Yuuta!” Rika snapped. It reverberated and shook the walls.
“Shh, Rika-chan,” Yuuta whispered hastily. “Please, our friends are sleeping.”
“Yuuta?”
Both Yuuta and Rika fell silent, alarmed. That voice certainly wasn’t Rika’s, and it most definitely came from the door.
“Yuuta?” you asked again, followed by a knock. “Are you okay in there?”
“I—I’m—I’m fine!” Yuuta yelped.
“Didn’t you just come back from a mission? Why are you here instead at Ieiri-sensei’s?” Your voice was muffled by the barrier that separated you both, but it was still enough of your voice to have Yuuta’s ears reddening.
“I was! I’m resting now!” Yuuta lied straight through his teeth, embarrassed beyond belief. In truth, he didn’t want to disturb her.
“Yuuta’s a liar!” Rika chose not to stay silent at the worst time. “Liar!”
The door swung open. Yuuta didn’t have enough time to hide a steadily growing red shirt or his pretty much the same face. The air thickened as you drew closer, and Yuuta struggled to tell if it was because of Rika or his reaction to you.
“Okkotsu Yuuta,” you said, deceptively calm. Yuuta felt the hair on the back of his arms rise in alarm. “Yuuta, don’t tell me that the stain on your shirt isn’t from ketchup.”
It was his blood, so Yuuta obediently stayed silent.
You sighed and spun around to leave the room. Yuuta’s chest ached as he watched you leave. His lip trembled, and he looked over to Rika, who seemed to be giving him that same stare of disappointment.
Yuuta shrunk in on himself. “I think I made Y/N mad…”
“Stupid Yuuta,” Rika trilled. “Yuuta is an idiot!”
“I know, I know,” Yuuta cried. “I get it now.”
As he was preparing to wallow, Footsteps emerged once again. You burst into the room with a first aid kit and a stern glare that made the protests die on Yuuta’s tongue. Strangely, Rika was silent.
“Let me see,” you demanded.
Yuuta’s face flamed with embarrassment, but he obliged and tugged on his shirt. Most of the injuries were cuts on his torso that would surely hurt once he showered, but again, it wasn’t anything worth all of this. He braced himself for the stinging pain once the cotton grazed his open wound, but instead, he found himself too flustered by your proximity to even notice you were already working on his wounds.
The room was dead silent, save for Yuuta’s labored breathing. Rika had disappeared; Yuuta chalked it up to him not being in danger anymore.
“Yuuta, if this happens again, come to my room, okay?” you said softly.
“I can’t—”
“Yes, you can. I’m asking you to.”
Yuuta deflated. “I can’t just disturb you.”
“I want you to disturb me.”
What a dangerous thing to say. Yuuta’s gaze went sharper. “You don’t mean that.”
“I do.” Your touch was too gentle. You faced Yuuta’s gaze head-on, fearless. “And you would do the same for me. Aren’t you the one being unfair?”
Yuuta sighed. He could never win when it came to you, anyway.
“Thought so,” you mused, carefully pulling his shirt down again. “You should learn how to ask, Yuuta.”
“I’m trying,” he muttered.
You tugged on the blanket folded neatly by his side and draped it over his shoulders. The heat of your touch remained in the blanket's warmth. When you stepped back to grin proudly at your work on a flustered and helplessly endeared Yuuta, you then frowned.
“Hey, where’d Rika go? I thought she wanted to share the blanket.”
“I think she wanted you to share it with me,” Yuuta said before he could think about it.
“Oh.” You blinked. “Is that so? Well, I guess that’s not a bad idea.”
Liar, he could hear Rika’s voice. Well, he never denied it.
Yuuta laid down carefully and lifted an arm from under the blanket. You crawled inside and settled beside him, launching into a ramble about how you were worried sick when Yuuta didn’t return early. He still struggled to ask for what he wanted, so he would settle for this.

For my Annabeth Wayne AU, I have Annabeth running away between Jason's funeral and Dick returning to earth & showing up at the manor. The thing is, seven year old Annabeth did not know Dick was in space.
As much as he's tried to keep a connection with her after moving out, the Titans are almost always involved in something and it's normal for him to be incommunicado. Plus, she's seven. No one thinks she needs all the information about what her father and brothers are getting up to in their "work life".
So when Jason dies, Annabeth is fully expecting Dick to show up to the funeral. She asks many times if she can call him and is only told "that's not possible", to a point where her brain makes some wrong pattern recognition and thinks something has happened to Dick too. Alfred has to talk her down from a panic attack.
There's conflict between her and Bruce during this time too, which I've talked about elsewhere, but since Bruce is shutting her out and Alfred is barely holding things together, she keeps waiting and asking for her oldest brother. She's scared, she's grieving, she's seeking a security that Bruce isn't in a state to give her.
Except Dick doesn't come to the funeral.
He doesn't come after.
She isn't allowed to call him and when she tries no one answers.
And the thing is that as a seven year old she has no idea that Dick doesn't know Jason is dead. Or that he's in space. Or that Bruce didn't even try to contact him to tell him what happened.
She's seven. She thinks Dick knows what happened and chose not to come back anyway. That like Bruce, he is now deciding to ignore her. That he's left her too.
She runs away a day before Dick finally comes home. But by then it's too late.
So she spends years living with that hurt. And just like in canon, she has massive abandonment issues. People either die on her (Jason, Thalia) or leave her behind (Bruce, Dick, Luke, Thalia again).
She doesn't get the chance to actually ask Dick why he left her behind until nearly a decade later. Watching his face morph through confusion and anger and grief at the very idea that he would abandon her is like a punch in her chest.
Her already complicated relationship with her father (strained by their last confrontation and shadowed by her experiences with Athena) gets even more tangled when Dick tells her Bruce's role in everything. She finally has her answer, but now she has no idea what to do with it.
And the thought that if she had waited one more day she would have known she was still loved?
That hurts.

This one guy I talked to on AO3 said that Emilie shouldn't be brought back because Adrien has already moved on from her death, but I'm not so sure about that. Other people think she should be revived so she can be her own character and not just someone else's sad backstory, and so Adrien has one good parent, of course. What do you think?
I think that it depends on the story you want to tell. There are cases to be made for bringing her back and cases to be made for letting her die. In the context of canon, I find not bringing her back to be fing stupid because it makes everything feel pointless. We obviously don't know the wish yet, but why let Gabe make the wish at all if he's not going to restore Emilie? Making a different wish isn't him being a good guy at the end. It's still him playing god, he's just now using his god powers to abandon his son for no logical reason. What loving father happily leaves his son an orphan???
Yeah, Gabriel saved Nathalie. I don't care. Nathalie chose to use the peacock to support Gabriel in his plan to terrorize Paris. That wasn't some noble sacrifice on her part! She didn't deserve to be saved any more than Gabriel did. Of the three dying/dead parental figures (I really don't know Emilie's status) Emilie is the only one who was never tempted by the dark side if we ignore the uncomfortable implications of how they got the peacock in the first place/Adrien's childhood isolation and just embrace the canon narrative that Emilie was a good and loving mother who was Too Pure For This World.
Meanwhile, Nathalie was a terrible mother figure! She supported Gabriel's awful treatment of Adrien for four seasons and then spent all of season five gently prodding Gabriel to change/tell Adrien the truth while leaving Adrien completely in the dark to everything that was happening. If Gabriel hasn't won, then Adrien would have lost both his father and Nathalie who knew that they were dying, but never gave Adrien a chance to say goodbye because Nathalie never stopped putting Gabriel first in almost every way that mattered. Adrien still doesn't know that he could have been allowed say goodbye to his father because Gabriel's death was entirely predictable.
Along similar lines, I don't think that Nathalie was wrong to undo Gabriel's senticommands, but it is deeply messed up that she was happily doing it in secret and never once considered giving Adrien a chance to consent. A loving parent should find the idea of controlling their child deeply upsetting. She should have been tempted to tell Adrien the truth, especially since she knew that she was dying, but we never see her consider that.
She also does nothing to get Adrien's slave collar away from Gabriel or to stop Gabriel from terrorizing Paris even though we have a scene where she literally pins Gabriel to a table. Her turn to "good" did nothing but maintain the status quo because she continued to support Gabriel in all the ways that truly matter. She never really protects Adrien. She does not deserve to be Adrien's new mother. #BringEmilieBack!!!
All of that is assuming that Gabriel's wish saved Nathalie while sacrificing himself and Emilie. If so, then that is literally the most boring way to go about letting the wish happen. You could have just as easily had Gabriel lose and have Ladybug know a way to save Nathalie via Guardian magic. The end result would have been the same.
If Gabriel had chosen to give up on the wish entirely? Then Emilie not coming back would be a satisfying ending. I personally really like Gabriel being defeated and the heroes then bringing Emilie back. Very much a spite move for me, plus it's a nice way to lessen the sting of Gabriel's defeat. Adrien losing his father, but gaining his mother feels really satisfying to me, especially if Emilie gets to serve Gabriel divorce papers. Got your wish, old man. Now suffer for it.
No matter the case, saying that Emilie shouldn't be brought back because Adrien has moved on is bad logic as it implies that Emilie is only worth bringing back if Adrien say he wants her back, as if she's a beloved childhood toy that someone broke long ago. It also implies that Adrien wouldn't want her back just because he's accepted her loss. Those are two very different things. Imo, one of the show's failings is the fact that Adrien is denied the right to grieve as if that makes him a better person. A better show would show healthy grief vs unhealthy grief (Adrien vs Gabe). She's been gone less than a year when the story starts. Everyone processes grief different, but that's really fast to move on from the death of a parent.

𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓
Synopsis: In 1989 you're forced to go on another one of the Targaryen family vacations except this one is to a summer camp. Crystal Lake isn't renowned for its beauty and exciting activities. Instead, it's well known for murder and strange disappearances; this doesn't deter money hungry counselors from setting up here. The twins swear it's folklore, Aegon claims you're going crazy but ever since you stepped out of the car you knew, this summer was going to be one to remember.
Tumblr media
Pairing: Aemond Targaryen x You T/W: dead bird, bad omens, nightmares, bullying, anxiety & paranoia, new friends, 80's slang, and all the bad vibes. A/N This is only kind of a Friday the 13th AU, I stole some names and lore but otherwise this is coming from my brain. Ive been listening to cruel summer nonstop hence the name. I really hope the first chapter got you as excited for the rest as I am!
Summer of 1989, you, your best friend and ride or die Hel, plus her army of obnoxious brothers are making your way to summer camp. Hel’s mother, Ali, she’s a sweet lady but her choice of family activities is never the greatest. This has got to be one of the very worst so far.
To be fair, you would roll over and bark if she asked. She deserved it considering she basically adopted you like a stray cat after your family disappeared… That’s another story for another day where you aren’t trapped in the back seat with the biggest tool known to mankind. “Play this!” You scrunched up your nose, “No! Keep the radio on!” You reached to snatch the cassette from his hand, but he shoved your face back, “Hell no! I don’t wanna listen to Bananarama.”
You shoved him back, “Shut up, Aegon. No one likes your music.” His eyes rolled into the back of his skull, “Shut up, Aegon. no one likes your music.” You huffed, “Stop mocking me!” He copied, “Stop mocking me!” You became desperate, anything to make him shut up. “Hellll! Make him stop.” With his obnoxious voice he continued, “Helllll make him stop.”
“Will you both shut up!” He turned the dial on the radio and began blasting whatever was originally on. The mood killer of all mood killers, Aemond Targaryen. The perfect student, son, and total stick in the mud. Granted, he did get his eye snatched out by his nephew. You’ve never heard the full story and don’t dare to ask but they don’t speak any more to say the least.
There’re some good things about him. He has a super soft spot for Hel which sorta extends to you. That is why you’re listening to cruel summer instead of whatever shit Aegon had planned. He also barely speaks to you, almost like he purposely avoids you. In the years you’ve known each other there’s only been a total of ten conversations you remember.
That’s fine with you, not everyone has to like you. That’s what you tell yourself to make yourself feel better at night. Your eyes drifted to the rear-view mirror, a perfect view of the man himself inside. In some lights Aemond truly was handsome, as if he was carved from marble. It didn’t help that his face almost always remained in a stoic position, unmoving and unwavering no matter the circumstance. The faux eye or eyepatch he chose to wear didn’t ruin his looks at all. In fact, it made him all the more alluring to certain girls.
You’ve known him for years, lived with his family, basically a constant in his life since you were young, and he still remains a mystery. You enjoyed mysteries a lot, one of your favorite genres of books. You got caught, His good eye flickered to meet yours. Eye contact with Aemond made your breath hitch in your throat. It was intense, everything he did was intense.
“Aemond watch Out!”
Helaena screeched, a large black object landing directly into the windshield, cracking it. His eyes flickered back at the road as the car spun out of control. None of the three in the back had any seat belts on. Aegon grabbed ahold of you and the door handle, both of you screeching like little girls. The car made a god-awful noise as Aemond slammed on the brakes, shrouding the car in dust. In the very back you heard Daeron fall to the floor, waking him up immediately.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” Hel opened her door, leaping out of the car. Aemond quickly followed behind as the rest of you scrambled to get up. The dust from the road was finally starting to settle as you managed to pry yourself from your seat. “Ew.” Aegon murmured under his breath as he stood over the dead body of a raven. She was silently crying to herself as she bent over the lifeless thing. Helaena had always held an intense love for animals.
You peered at Aemond who remained completely composed, eerily silent as usual. He peered back at you, was this your fault for distracting him? You weren’t even doing anything besides staring! “Ravens are bad omens ya know… Great start to summer guys!” Daeron chirped from behind. “I’m going to the car,” Aegon said with disgust, brushing aside his sister's mourning. Daeron followed quickly behind, excited to go back to napping.
It took Aemond a few tries to get Helaena to leave the bird and return to her seat… She’s too gentle for this world. For some reason you were stuck in place. The second you stepped out of the car you felt eyes on you. You didn’t know where they were coming from, but they were there or everywhere. Instant anxiety coursed through you; this place had bad vibes in the first place. It didn’t help that you were watching a bird slowly choking to death on its own blood.
Bad omen
Bad omen
Bad omen
Bad omen
“Hey! We’re going to be late, get in the car.” Aegon’s screeching pulled you out of your trance, “Oh piss off!”
Tumblr media
The walk through of camp was rather boring. Immediately the girls were separated from the boys and to be completely honest, the girls' cabins were shit. They were wooden and lined with poorly built bunk beds. No plumbing whatsoever besides the showers which only ran cold water. A bug infestation was definitely on the horizon. The camp tshirts weren’t terrible, just a little ugly in design. The counselors were only a few years older than you, which teed you off because they were barking orders left and right.
Helaena didn’t seem to mind any of it, lost in her head as usual. The dead bird definitely ruined her mood for today… You on the other hand couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. It came just as quickly as it went, and it fucking followed you… You were actually going insane. Or one of the boys was playing a long prank on you.
The tour was painstakingly long as you walked the grounds looking at the lake, the yard, the forest trails and the other buildings of importance. The recreation room, the dining hall and kitchen, the banned counselor area and finally the “special building.” It was where all the electricity came from and probably plumbing too.
The events for welcoming day were as follows: settling in, tour of the camp, dinner, and the huge bonfire in front of the lake. It seemed simple and easy to digest but you couldn’t shake your anxiety. You didn’t like being around strange people, you didn’t like being far away from home and you definitely didn’t like that they separated your bed from Hel’s. Also, Daeron’s comment from earlier was making you paranoid. Little shit always has a way of getting in your head.
“Aegon is already flirting with the girls from the other cabin.” You peered from across the dining room to watch him shamelessly chat up randos. Your face twisted in minor disgust. “Oh, gag me with a spoon… I don’t know how you’re related.” You slid down the line grabbing the food the “chef” had made. Without a doubt there was a few mystery meats and a hair lurking in the applesauce. Maybe you were being pretentious, but shouldn’t a rich camp afford better food?
You took your seat after meticulously avoiding all of the possible bowel killing food and settled on Mac n Cheese. Even at camp the tables were separated by categories, freaks aka rebels, geeks/brains depending on who you ask, the jocks, the heathers aka bitches and the outcasts. Obviously, you the Targaryen’s stray cat and the weird girl obsessed with bugs aka Hel say with the outcasts.
Aegon had wormed his way into the jocks even though he didn’t play sports. Daeron fit in anywhere because he was just sooo charming. And well, Aemond, was staring at you from across the room at the brains table. Gracefully avoiding direct eye contact when you glanced over. He always did that, ever since you were kids.
A normal person might ask why or go and talk to him. You weren’t normal and unbelievably awkward when alone with him. It was just because he was intimidating and obviously didn’t like you very much. Or maybe he was madly in love with you and just couldn’t find the strength to speak to you… Of course, it was the former.
“Hey!” A short girl with pretty curls took her seat in front of you both. Hel and you glanced at each other, shocked someone were talking to you. She was beaming, sunshine literally radiating off of her skin. A total surfer chick from the west coast. You learned her name was Rhaena, her twin Baela had ditched her earlier for a boy and she was trying to make new friends.
“So, this is your first time here? That’s totally tubular!” Helaena spoke up,“You’ve been here before?” Rhaena propped her knees up on the seat, so she was basically in Hel’s face. “Yeah! Baela and I have been coming since we were kids.” Helaena smiled, eyes twinkling with something you hadn’t seen before.“That’s rad.” You paused, when has seen used slang before? “What about you? Have you been here before?” Her voice sounded muted, as if asking you was a total pain. “Oh no. This is my first time.”
“Oh my god I can totally show you guys around and tell you all the secrets.” Helaena cocked a brow, “What secrets?” Rhaena smiled mischievously, “Likeee there’s this abandoned shack not too far away that everyone goes and explores. Apparently, it’s haunted.” You were nodding your head along getting lost in thought.
“Oh, and the boys get all the hot water, and we don’t… and they only use knock off versions of food to save money… Don’t eat the Mac n cheese, I’m pretty sure it’s spoiled.” You dropped your spoon, apparently nothing was edible here…. Wait?! The boys got hot showers and you didn’t?! And there’s a fucking haunted house… You knew this place was fucking creepy.
“Baela! That’s the twin I was telling you about! Come on, I want y’all to meet her.” She grabbed Helaena’s hand and gently tugged her in the opposite direction. “Hey, you coming?” There it was again! The feeling of your hair standing up and someone watching you. You froze in place, eyes scanning the area. Aemond wasn’t looking at you anymore, too preoccupied with Daeron.
“She’s zoned out again… Bestie we’re gonna be right back.” No one in your peripheral vision either… Which means they were behind you. You jumped around in your seat, prepared to surprise whoever was there.
Except, there was no one but an empty building. You spun around looking for any sign of life and found none… How long have you been sitting here? When did Helaena leave you? The lights turned off and you felt your heart sink to your ass…
A masked figure emerged from the darkness of the kitchen holding a kitchen knife. He was soaking wet, as if he had just come out of the lake. You stumbled back in place, bumping into the table behind you. Your breath hitched in your throat; your heart began thumping rapidly.
Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck
You weren’t able to scream, your legs had turned into wet noodles that wouldn’t move. You were going to die; you were totally going to fucking die. It cocked its head to the side, “Run Rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run,” it sang in an eerily sweet voice. Not the fucking tune from the thirties!
All of the sudden he charged; you squeezed your eyes shut preparing for the worse… You felt two hands shaking you, violently shaking you.
“Mrs. y/l/n, please wake up.” The counselor shook you a few more times, “Hey! Rise and Shine sweetheart!” You jumped in place, gasping for air and startling the counselor. “We’re going to be late for the bonfire, please hurry up.” You looked around, the lights were still beaming, and the sun had only just started to set. There were still a few counselors around and your face was sticky…
You fell asleep in the fucking Mac n Cheese!
Tumblr media
“Hey.” You awkwardly took a seat in between Aemond and Aegon seeing as Helaena was being fussed over by the twins. “You only come to me when your girl gets stolen. Don’t worry babe, I can make you forget about her.” You shoved him into Daeron, nearly knocking him off the bench. “Can you be normal?! For like five seconds, please.”
“Impossible, his brain is made of jello.” Aemond deadpanned, eyes burning holes into Aegon’s skull. You giggled to yourself, “The off brand Jell-O.” The camp counselor marched in front of the four of you, pointing fingers. “Hey! Don’t tell me you four are gonna be the troublemakers this year. I’ll have you know-“
“Ms. Dunn! I just saw a kid go into the electrical cabin!” Baela, you assumed, just caused a perfect distraction. The counselor went running in the opposite direction. She winked at you all and walked off to join her sister and your best friend. Aegon sat up, dead silent. He had that look in his eyes, the look of a boy who found a new boy. “He’s found a new conquest.”
You peered at Aemond, unable to hide the smirk creeping onto your face. “Let’s hope this one has some standards.” The head counselor stepped up, clapping their hands together to announce their presence. Ghost stories, a nice welcome to a strange camp. It was tradition according to Rhaena, a weird fucking tradition.
It took a minute for everyone to settle down, specifically Aegon who kept poking you in your side. He did this consistently throughout your life, teased you until you gave him attention. Aeg was like an older brother but worse and more pervy. Introductions, getting to know each other, and then finally the fucking story. The entire thing was unbearably boring.
“Many years ago, a mad woman lived here with her son before her land was sold to us. It is said after years of listening to the campers next door she went insane. She butchered every single camper, except one who drowned her own son believing him to be the killer!” The crowd was silent, except the few gasps of some younger girls. You sat up in your seat, fixated on lore.
“Not long after, a group of campers decided to explore the lake and the supposed haunted cabin. Of course, they were brave and didn’t believe in myths or legends. As they walked along the shore, they heard strange noises coming from the trees. Branches cracked, leaves rustled, and something seemed to be following them.” You weren’t easily frightened… but for some reason your nails were picking at the tips of your shorts.
“They picked up their pace, escaping into the abandoned shack they originally thought to be safe. One brave boy ventured deeper inside, until he fell through the floor. An ear-piercing scream could be heard across the lake… He fell right on top of the mother’s remains!” Aemond wasn’t amused, he was far more entranced by the way the fire lit up your face. And the way your jaw hung with suspense at a silly ghost story.
“They ran back to the main grounds, hoping to find safety! However, when they returned the camp was nearly empty. Not a single soul remained on this land. Ripples began forming in the lake below them, tree branches cracking the distance. They all began to panic, huddling in a circle… From the darkness of the lake emerged a looming figure, soaked head to toe with blood. He held out the machete in his hand and stormed towards them.”
The outdoors became eerily silent, only the crackling fire provided comfort. You were on the edge of your seat, anticipating blood shed… “The next day the authorities arrived and found no trace of the bodies. No blood or weapons could be found anywhere in the vicinity. Twenty campers and counselors disappeared that night without a single trace…” You leaned back in your seat, that wasn’t an epic ending at all. It was like almost reaching an orgasm then being cut off. “it’s said every few years he comes back... He waits for the campers to get comfortable… to feel safe… Until-”
“Ahhhh!”
A dark figure in a black mask with a blood coated axe jumped out of the darkness. You screamed like a banshee, you jumped back in place, landing against Aemond’s chest. It felt like your eyes were going to pop out of your skull, or maybe your heart would explode. His arms wrapped around you lightly, you could barely feel them securing you into place.
“Ahahaha! Ahahaha!  you’re so fucking jumpy! You’re like a little rabbit.” You stared at him blankly, then you stared at the people around you… No one else was screaming but you. Was the jump scare seriously not that terrifying to anyone but you. Aemond cleared his throat, “You good?” He didn’t mind you being close, he didn’t mind that you crushed his groin. In fact, he could stay like this for hours if there weren’t camp counselors staring him down.
It was like an alarm going off in your head, you turned to look at Aemond for a second. Embarrassment quickly drowning all of your sensations. You slid off of his lap and back on the bench. No words were coming out, no thoughts being processed. Your cheeks were beaming red, this summer was going to be fucking hell.
Tumblr media
After the bonfire, aka your personal torment, your family and the new add ons Baela and Rhaena huddled into a lopsided circle by the lake. “I have an idea,” Aegon announced to the group. “Baela told me about the broken-down shack, and I think we should totally go check it out!” You looked around at everyone’s faces and they all seemed to be in agreement… “Haven’t you seen the movies? This is how everyone dies dumby.”
Aegon scoffed, “Ok freakazoid, did you and Aemond switch bodies? ” He just killed two birds with one stone, or one sentence. Aemond was used to the slander, you however had a short fuse when it came to Egg boy. “Eat my shorts, Aegon!” He cocked an eyebrow, “Only if you ask nicely.” You faked a vomiting noise. Helaena made a sour face, “That’s grody.” You paused; Helaena never used slang before. Aegon chimed in, “Are you done being pussy?”
You began bickering instantly, the sounds of your petty argument and Aegon’s obnoxious laughter obviously killing the vibe. Daeron pushed into the center of the circle. “Everyone take a chill pill! How about we go to the cabin, and you stay here as a lookout.” Aegon clapped his hands together, “Awesome! We gotta go now before the counselors wake up.” You took a step back watching the group disperse towards the forest. Rhaena took Helaena’s hand and started bouncing off, leaking excitement. “Hel? Are you not gonna stay behind?”
She paused, glanced between you both. “I- I just want to check it out! I’ll be back in a sec.” Rhaena raised a hand to wave, “Don’t stress! We won’t die!” You watched silently as your best friend got whisked off into the darkness. She’s never left you behind before, she’s never done adventurous things. She’s calm, quiet, quirky and, and you don’t like this. You don’t like this one bit.
“You look jealous.” You whipped your body around, nearly stumbling on the leaves behind you. “Aemond? I thought you were going with them.” He smiled, just barely, “Exploring abandoned shacks isn’t my forte.” He definitely wasn’t staying behind because you were. He especially wasn’t staying behind to be alone with you. “Oh…” you stared at him, not a single thought in your brain. Why were you so nervous? Have you always been so nervous around him?
It might be because you had to crane your neck up to look at him. “I’m not jealous!” He stalked behind you with his hands behind his back. “Is that so? You’ve looked pissed the past few hours.” Your brows furrowed, “Pissed? What no. It’s just… ever since we got here, I’ve had anxiety out the butt.” Aemond paused his steps, “I’m sorry about the bird. I should have been looking but I-”
“It’s not the bird. I mean it is kinda the bird, but this place gives me the creeps!” You held your arms out wide and twirled in a circle. You were trying to make a point. Aemond smiled to himself, “I get it. It’s too calm, the perfect place for a monster to hide out.” Your mouth gaped in faux shock; your hand went to swat at his arm. “Don’t joke! I’m being serious, it has bad vibes.”
“Hm,” he nodded his head as if agreeing or thinking, you couldn’t tell. “You just need to distract yourself from the bad vibes.” You cocked your head to the side, “How?” Aemond sat down on the little beach, motioning for you to follow. “We could play a game.” You followed suit, sitting with your legs crossed. “Which game?”
He picked up a pebble and threw it into the water. “I was hoping you would know.” Who would offer to play a game then not even know what game! “Uhhh all I know is twenty questions.” He tossed another pebble,“Great.”
He was always straight forward and maybe a little too quiet. You couldn’t tell if he was doing this out of pity or he really wanted to play with you… Aemond Targaryen was a confusing man. “You’re agreeing that easily?” He finally turned to look at you, sincerity gracing his features. “I mean, all we know about each other is from what Helaena says so I don’t see why not.” You tapped your fingers on your chin, “Okay… Why’d you choose Vhagar as a pet name.”
He hummed to himself, “I was twelve and thought it was a cool name for a big lizard. What’s your favorite song?” The same song that almost caused a car accident earlier, you thought to yourself. “Easy. Cruel Summer by Bananarama.” Aemond smiled, a smile that could genuinely light up the world. “Ah, that’s why you almost fist fought Aegon for radio rights.” You clapped your hands together, “It’s a great song! And it totally fits the vibes. Next question… What’s your favorite song?”
“For Whom the Bells Toll. I can play pretty much every Metallica song on guitar.” Your eyes lit up with excitement, “You’re a metalhead and you play?! Aemond I never knew that!” You sat up and grabbed his shoulders, tugging at them gently. “It’s not that impressive.” He made eye contact for a split second before his lips curled into a tiny smirk. “Oh please! don’t be coy. You need to play for me sometime… If you-”
“Of course.” A sudden sting of embarrassment rose through him as quickly as he said it. He didn’t mean to cut you off, or seem so excited… “What’s something you regret?” You stopped invading his personal space and sat back, criss cross applesauce. What was something you regretted? You could be completely honest and go for it or make up a lie. You regretted many things in your life, too many to count. The only one you could think of now, “I regret not getting to know you sooner. You're super cool, Aemond.”
Aemond felt his heart rate pick up its pace and his palms were getting all sweaty. He always knew you were pretty but seeing you excited over him took it to a new level. The way your eyes sparkled and the moonlight reflecting off of the water perfectly illuminating your features. For a second, he swore he saw your lip's part. Did you want to kiss him? No, he avoided you for years, no way you’d be into him now. Unless…
“What’s your favorite memory?” Aemond paused, obviously he couldn’t say the day you moved in. The day you nearly bit Aegon’s finger off for shoving it in his face. The day you awkwardly danced with him at prom because no one else would… “I think I’m gonna create my favorite this summer…” He leaned in, slowly but purposefully. Your cheeks lit up bright red, eyes bursting out of your skull. Was he going to kiss you? Is Aemond trying to kiss you?
Why aren’t you pulling back? Why are you leaning into him! Aemond murmured under his breath, “…with you.” For a second, and only a second you thought you would kiss. You never moved this fast, was he always this alluring? Ever since you got here everyone had been acting strange. Helaena is using slang and ditching you. All of the sudden Aegon is a natural born leader. Daeron is going on dangerous adventures with Aegon of all people… And you are about to kiss your best friend’s brother whom you barely know!
“Ahhhhhhh”
An ear-piercing scream immediately caught both of your attention. “Helaena,” you said in unison. Aemond shot to his feet first, you quickly followed suit. He sprinted towards the forest, fastest you’ve ever seen him run. This wasn’t the time for I told you so but, you fucking told them so!
All you could hear was yourself panting, twigs breaking, and leaves being crushed beneath your feet. Why did everything go quiet?! It felt like you were in the twilight zone. It felt as if you had been running for hours when you approached the cabin. Though it didn’t bring you any relief.
Your heart sank as you realized that the door was left open, which could only mean that they were inside. You picked up the pace, thinking that you were running out of time. Believing they might be getting chopped up by an axe wielding maniac.
When you finally reached the cabin, you saw your friends huddled inside. Helaena, Daeron and Rhaena stood there pointing flashlights towards the floor, unbothered. They looked more spooked by you two crashing their party than anything else. “Are you guys okay?” Aemond asked.
“We’re fine,” Daeron replied. “Aegon fell through the floor, though. He landed on a pile of bones.” You walked towards the hole, searching for any signs of life. “Is he hurt?” you asked, in a voice that sounded too sincere.
“Ah sweetheart! I knew you cared about me,” Aegon shouted beneath the floorboards. You deadpanned, “I change my mind, die.” You reached into the darkness anyways, trying to help pull Aegon out of the floor. “Jesus have you always been so heavy.” He snickered, “You’re just a weakling.” You slapped the top of his head, “I’ll drop you and you can spend the rest of your night in the hole.” As you bickered with Aegon, who was taking his sweet time crawling out of the floor.
Aemond looked around the cabin, something was off. “What types of bones were they?” Helaena sighed, “More animal bones but I think it was from a deer this time.” He tapped his foot on the ground, “hm.” His eyes narrowed as he scanned the cabin, “which one of you screamed?” The girls looked at each other, confused. “None of us screamed, Aemond.” The group fell into a heavy silence before Daeron spoke up. “Let’s get the hell out of here. I don’t want the counselors to find us.”
You all quickly exited the cabin, making sure to leave it the way you found it, and made your way back to camp. The closer you got to your temporary home the worse you felt. Were you slowly having a psychotic break why are you so anxious? No, it wasn’t paranoia, something was wrong.
Something was missing, someone was missing. You counted, one for Aegon, two for Helaena, three for Aemond, four for Daeron, five for Rhaena, six for… You stopped walking, causing everyone to turn their heads towards you. “Where’s Baela?”

The beautiful prince of Dorne chose you to be his wife, his little wife is what would he say to you. You always rolled your eyes at the word 'little' because you weren't a frail girl from the brothel, you were plush in the hips, thighs, and stomach. But 'little' was for how much younger you are than Oberyn, the innocence you possess. He loved he could dominate your body and your mind.
You both worked because you were able to submit to him easily. He never wanted to take over your being but you wanted him to. He loved how you would always be there waiting for him with your open heart and legs.
Embarrassment was an understatement for what you felt when your prince was slamming his hips into another woman. Not just any woman but the breathtaking Ellaria who spent nights between your thick loins and your husbands. The nights spent together never separate until the day you found out you are carrying his child.
You wanted to run and hide from the world around you. This love was going to be the death of you and you knew that you promised to be his forever. "I found myself in another, my soul is bound to her," Oberyn's cut deep into you and he just watched you bleed. You didn't want to give the satisfaction of crying over him but you told him that you can not hold the prince back from being truly happy.
Giving up the person who was your air and water was change that made you not see the next day to come. You wanted the hurt to go away and would do anything to not still love Oberyn.
You would have dreams of you crying in his dark brown eyes. You watched yourself die the day he left you. Life was growing inside of you and pushed the dark days because you had to do for the love inside of you.
It was all a rumor that he had another child out there with the woman he once loved. You couldn't bring yourself to let the world tell him the truth and it was best that it was kept as a tale. You would tell people that the child on your hip was a foundling. That the lords gave you a mission to be a mother when you lost a chance of family to a child who needed a mother.
People believe anything they hear so when they believed the small fabrication it made life easy for you to move on from the past life you had ripped from your hands.
-
When you gave life to a boy your heart was welded back together, he was the spitting image of your old heart. The same dark brown hair, the nose, the pouting bottom lips. As Maxwell got older his curious mind grew with him, asking you to tell him about his father. "Your father, he...he would've loved you," You tried to find the words to explain to the young boy. It was easy to lie, "He's dead and there's nothing we can do change it."
You got word about the wedding of Oberyn and Ellaria from the people in Kings Landing, and you wanted to scream and plead for the news to not be true.
The truth hit you right in the face when you caught a glimpse of the display of affection, seeing his lips attached to hers. Your throat became tight since choking back the tears carried with memories of loving him and everything that was encased with him.
You wanted to rip him from her claws, but the vows were said and done. Your son, looked at you and could see the tears falling down your face. He pulled on the embellishments of your dress, you looked down at him and smiled to play off you were happy for the couple.
-
Another festival where people stuff their faces. You sat and watched Max follow around his new pet that you allow him to bring everywhere. You talked with a couple of people seated around you, Maxwell wanders out of your sight and knocks into the man who you wanted to keep him from. Your son looks up in horror as he didn't mean to run into anyone. Oberyn smiles at the small boy and looks at him.
He thinks he's looking into a mirror of the past, he sees him as a child. You could sense that your son was in trouble, you excuse yourself and start to look at the grounds for him. You walk upon your son and Oberyn mirroring each other, you wished that ground would swallow you up. Max looks at you and runs to your side, hiding himself behind you.
"Maxwell, go wait for mother at the table," You said as you stepped closer to Oberyn, you waited for the footsteps to sound out of reach. The energy between the two you was high, you wanted to fall in his arms and feel his warmth.
You wanted to be back with him, but he wasn't yours to keep. He searched in your eyes for the answer to his unasked question. You couldn't bare to look at him a second longer.
You turn yourself around and pulled back before you take the first step to walk away. "Is the child of my blood?" The tone of his voice seemed like he was begging. It seemed foreign as the question left his lips.
You kept silent because you couldn't trust yourself to be strong enough to not cry to him. "How did you not tell me this news?" another beg left his mouth, his hand still wrapped around your wrist. The heat from his skin seemed to blister your skin making you want to run away.
"The hidden secret would have not brought you back to me. To bare myself to you once more was a pain I would not put myself through again," You didn't want to be right but your words were the truth for the time. He looked at you like you committed a crime in front of him. "You bounded yourself to another and my love for you is greater than ruining your chance at having heaven on earth." you choked on your words.
He saw how selfless you still were, how willing you were to put him before yourself still after a divorce and bearing his child. "You don't owe me or him anything. All he knows is that his father is dead," Your words washed over him and Oberyn wanted to give you the life deserved. To be kept and cared for but it will never happen again.

Alain Delon died yesterday and it struck me as unusual or perhaps not that recently I have been having a Delon binge watching of his films in the past few weeks. For me it was a rediscovery of just how good he was, especially ‘Plein Soleil’ (1960) the original French version of the Talented Mr. Ripley Delon was a revelation in that just sucking all the air out of the camera while he was on screen. So it’s like his energy or his ‘archetype’ – the Scorpionic magnetism, the charismatic beauty with animal grace (he was a dog lover) was coming to say goodbye to me weirdly before he left this world forever.
It reminded me too why Morrissey chose Delon for the cover of the Smiths ‘The Queen is Dead’. Just as dogs come to visit and be petted by everyone in the house before they go to find a hole to die in, so Delon visited my imagination and capture it once again. And now he’s gone, perhaps not mourned by some critics of his opinions, but he passed away peacefully it seems, and there’s an outpouring of grief for a peak time in French cinema that can never return so there’s a longing and a massive loss for what was especially from the likes of Brigitte Bardot who once took the whip from Delon in a portmanteau film ‘Spirits of the Dead’ (1968) based on stories of Edgar Allen Poe, and messages from Claudia Cardinale who played opposite Delon’s Tancredi in Luchino Visconti’s ‘The Leopard’ (1963) are very poignant and heartfelt. He was not just a lover but a good friend to these and many other women. If Romy Schneider were still alive it would most likely be the same from her as they had a stormy on-off relationship for many years appearing together in the film ‘Piscine’ in 1969.
Delon was born in 1935 in Sceaux, a suburb of Paris, with the Sun at 14° of Scorpio. While it can be morbid I was curious to see what the chart showed- why now and not before when he had a stroke. He’s been going through his third Saturn return. I guessed the time at around 7pm in Paris after the announcement by his famly. So the timing is approximate.
He has the transiting North Node conjunct his natal Moon at 11° Aries. He has a Pluto opposition – his Pluto was at 27° of Cancer as Pluto prepares to go from 0° Aquarius back into Capricorn. and the Moon in Aquarius just happens to be conjunct asteroid Psyche at this point making a soul connection before the big mega Moon of August that we’ve been preparing for. Saturn at 17° Pisces is square to his natal Sun at 14° of Scorpio.
He was born with Saturn in Pisces, at 3° and this could refer to his hard work in film.
If you take Venus as the symbol of beauty -even for a man- and Neptune as representing film then we have a neat symmetry occurring. His star initially was about his unrivalled beauty- his blue eyes, his animal grace, his eyebrows, his open shirts that had everyone copying that style etc and he set a new high standard here, at least in France, if not the world. This symmetrical dance is so intriguing as the accolades pour in for how much of a style icon he was i.e. how he transmitted his charisma through the medium of film.
Transiting Venus is conjunct his natal Neptune at 16° of Virgo and Neptune at the fatal endpoint degree of 29° Pisces -people passing out of this world-is opposite his natal Venus at 27° of Virgo. Plus, there's a solar eclipse coming at this point on the 21st September. That’s telling because of his role as a male beauty, a kind of screen idol Apollo. This is not to overlook his skill as an actor which can often be downplayed because people were so enamored of his looks first. He had talent too to convey some difficult roles -often the chilling cold killer-so it was a deadly combination of style and skill, angel crossed with demon, that created an indelible mark on cinema and the astrology here reminds us of this as his legacy, not all the controversies, his rocky relationships, the death of his body guard, his outspoken opinions on life, and that he denied paternity of Ari Boulogne, a child born of Velvet Underground singer, Nico, in 1963, yet Delon’s mother adopted Ari who died in 2023 of a heroin overdose.
One theory of what determines success in film is whether the light reflects well in the actor's eyes, and in Delon's the light is luminous for sure. There is clearly a lot more here and worth going into in much more detail, I should do a full article, but to be brief, we should say RIP to a great talent who brought many characters to life and whose presence on screen cannot be denied.

My personal interpretation of the FF16 ending
Back on my FF16 BS again since I've been replaying NG+. I haven't changed my mind much about the ending, but I think there could be two possible routes.
Major spoilers for the ending below:
So, for the people who haven't done the late-game side quests, there are quite a few narrative elements that could point towards Clive's survival.
In Jill's quest, there is a bit where she wishes to Metia (the red star) that Clive come back to her. Since Clive is like her treasure and her dawn. In the ending credits, we see Metia fade away, and Jill begins crying. She runs away to mourn but looks up and sees the dawn rising once again, and she smiles. This, alongside the lyrics of "My Star", have people speculating that Clive lives. I can get behind the Metia symbolism, but not the lyrics. The song closes with the lyrics: "And though our night is over you shall always remain, forever, my treasure, my star." That just seems like accepting and mourning the loss of a loved one, but that's just me.
The next most clear one is in the Hypocrates quest with Dion. After reuniting the two, Hypocrates thanks Clive and gives him a quill to document his journey after the fight. The bonus after-credits scene then has a book written by Joshua Rosfield. This, along with Clive seemingly narrating the book's intro and conclusion, could mean he lives.
So this is where I start to differ in my opinion on the ending. I've seen a lot of people say that this is just Clive taking his brother's name to write the book since "the phoenix's power can't bring back the dead."
There is no ending in my mind where Joshua dies. Clive did everything he could to try and help his brother. Joshua surviving Pheonix Gate and coming back is almost like a second chance to protect his family once again. Joshua dying again would go against this sort of second chance that Clive now has. So, Joshua clearly dies from Ultima, but Clive also absorbs Ultima's power of creation. I think you can pretty safely say he can use both Ultima and the Pheonix to bring Joshua back.
So with all this preamble out of the way, here are my two possible endings:
Clive lives: So in this one, all 3 of them live. We take all the sidequests as narrative foreshadowing. Clive still succumbs to the Cystals curse but lives long enough on the beach for Jill to find him. Her wish to Metia once again, came true. His hands are no longer functional, so rather than write the novel himself, he has his brother write down his story. This is why Clive is narrating the game, and Joshua's name is on the book. And if the brothers get to live, so does Dion. I abide by the film-making rules where if you do not see a dead body, they are not dead. The man is a dragoon. He can fall from crazy heights. The medicine girl and Terence can find him or something idk. This, plus his promise to Hyprocates to go and retrieve the Wyvern's Tail, could also point to his survival. This would be the best possible ending for the trio.
Clive dies: In this one, Clive is consumed by the curse completely. Joshua lives, and Dion is probably dead. Joshua, Jill and all the people in the hideaway write down a chronicle of Clive's adventure. As discussed in the sidequests, Gav takes up Cid's name and works with all the hideaway members to try and help the people learn to live without magic. All the people that Clive helps can still work to try and live in this new magicless world that Clive died to make. A world that Clive chose how he would live and die for. It's very true to the "a world where people choose how they live and die" that Cid and he vowed to make together. And for that reason, even though it's much more sombre, I prefer this interpretation. It also makes more sense to me because it's very clear that they didn't want Jill in the final boss cause they couldn't kill her and Joshua and make the healing scene make any sense. The theme is also about brotherhood. It's just an eldest sibling thing to do lol. Edit: Grammar.

Head-canon that sinners if they die in hell, they come back or their healing is slow
If hell born demons die they stay dead
If fallen angels die i think its a quick white flash, and they go to an empty void
Would satan techinally have a little angel grace, and also wouldnt he be sky born? ☺️ so he can either die and stay dead or go to the void with the rest of the angels + othrt fallen angels
Which got me thinking, Lucifer would have gathered a lot of angels for the war, and do you think those fallen angels would hate Lucifer for it
You know, anon, I don't think they really talk much about what happens when anybody from anywhere dies in this game, so you can headcanon anything you want, really.
In Nightbringer, when Lucifer is telling us what it felt like when Satan was born, I very much got the distinct impression that they were trying to say that Satan has angel in him. So I think you could say he experiences things the way his brothers do - they're all demons, but there is an angelic remnant in them that can affect them in various ways.
As for the war, I was very much under the impression that it was the six of them (plus Lilith) versus the rest of the Celestial Realm. I kind of felt like a lot of angels just sat on the sidelines and didn't get involved, too. Which would mean the only casualties of the Celestial War would have been the brothers falling and Lilith.
But if my interpretation is incorrect and Lucifer did rally a bunch of angels to fight for him and they all died or a bunch of them fell, then I think whether or not they hate him would depend on them as individuals. All of Lucifer's brothers chose to side with him and they all fell. None of them hate him for it. They did it because they love him. But if we're talking legions of angels that probably didn't know him personally, it would be about why they themselves joined to begin with. Did they think Lucifer's cause was just and that they wanted to stand with him no matter the outcome? Then they probably hold no animosity toward him now. Did they join because they thought Lucifer would win and that by siding with him they would secure a place for themselves in a Celestial Realm that had been reformed under his rule? Theeeen they might be angry about it.
In the end, these details are mostly left up to interpretation since the game doesn't always get into it. And I always say you are free to headcanon whatever you like, even if the game directly contradicts it lol.

Gajeel is such a fun character to both write and read.
Like he's almost like an analogy to the nature vs nurture argument alongside Natsu after they both get to the present.
Both were "abandoned" by their dragons and had scrambled and lost memories from the eclipse gate but that's where their stories change. While Natsu is found very quickly by Makarov and brought into a guild where he is given the chance to express himself and be a kid, Gajeel doesn't.
Gajeel is left to fend for himself on the streets where he's stealing. (And the friend he had at the time was more than likely encouraging it) and then he joins Phantom. A guild that is similar in nature to Sabertooth pre Sting. Although we don't see much of Jose, we do know that he was the one to take the job to get Lucy and we know he wanted a war with Fairy tail. And I doubt Gajeel would have attacked the guild hall without being told something. We do know it was Gajeel's idea to attack Shadow gear since Jose didn't know before hand. And its canon that Gajeel has gotten taken to trail at least once and been bailed out. I doubt its over destruction of property so it has to be something. And Jose gets really mad when he finds out that Sol, Totomaru and Juvia are all defeated by Fairy tail mages which is pretty telling of his attitude to his guild members.
I truly believe that Phantom brought out the worst in Gajeel. He chose to do some of the things he did. He chose to attack Shadow gear and he chose to throw his Kunai's (or beat in the anime's case the cowards) at Lucy. Phantom Gajeel is a lot more sadistic. He's kind of like Laxus in that regard. (Which I fully believe that if both continued down the paths they did, they probably wouldn't have been able to come back. I've actually said this in a youtube comment before but Acnologia is almost similar to them. He lost himself to his anger, something that both Laxus and Gajeel were letting happen, Laxus with his hatred of Makarov and Gajeel's unresolved feelings towards Metalicana. If they hadn't been defeated and then ultimately faced consequences, I wouldn't be surprised if they fell to the darkness since both really pushed that line when they were antagonists (I mean Laxus threatens a whole town, throws an attack at Freed who was just trying to talk some sense into him, cursed out Evergreen after she lost, didn't care to stop when he knew Makarov might die and tried to kill Natsu on several occasions and Gajeel attacked several Fairy tail members, beat up Lucy and was definitely planning on killing Natsu. I mean the chainsaw arm was a dead giveaway with that one now wasn't it)
However I also believe that Fairy tail brought out the best in him. Or at least the best it could after he'd been shaped to be the way he was. Like he probably wouldn't be the same as an adult as he is if he had grown up in a different guild that let him express himself.
But it's really telling that one of the first things he does after joining the guild, despite saying he hates both the guild and all its member not even 10 minutes prior, that he goes up on stage and preforms one of his own songs. Yeah sure he gets into a fight straight after but he still preforms. And it isn't even the only time he does this either. (Which is why it always hurts my soul as a fellow musician when he gets made fun of and yelled at. Like you don't have to like it (Although with a tiny bit of practise, he could actually improve because at least in the anime, he isn't actually that bad) but don't out right reject him before he starts. He won't get better that way and all you'll get is him closing up and not wanting to express himself around you again)
Plus AU Gajeel just has heaps more trauma added to the pile, especially with what I have planned for this rewrite.
I just love writing about mentally tortured characters (Even the two main characters for my own original book are emotionally and mentally tortured. Not even my own characters are spared)

Eternal Love - Episode 24
Tumblr media
I’m super tempted by another Chinese drama right now, but I promised that I would go back to one of the series I started already, since they are so many that I need to complete. As a completionist, I can’t let my blog be in this state. So I figured I would go back to this one, since I love it so much. Also... There’s Yang Mi and Zhao Youting. Can we go wrong with those two? I don’t think so. Plus, for every two episodes of Eternal Love, I will allow myself to watch something new! That is not Apple of my Eye, I will keep with this one, but it’s going to be my layover watch I think, because the format of the episodes is just perfect for that. I can’t remember where we left last time, so bear with and let’s just marvel once again at the beautiful opening of this drama, if it is ever possible to get tired of it.
Oh... I thought I was out of the human life cycle, but it has not ended yet and it’s the most painful part too... Haha, I chose well, I chose well. Gosh. So Sujin being the nasty woman that she is pays a visit to Susu in her palace to brag about how good Susu’s eyes are and how Yehua stayed by her side while she was healing (which is wrong, since he was taking the lightning punishment instead of Susu who wouldn’t be able to endure it as a human). Once she’s sprayed her venom, she leaves. Feng Jiu is mad at her, so in her fox form, she bites Sujin. In turn she throws the fox to the wall, thus injuring it badly. She wants to beat it up, however Donghua comes around to claim his fox. The queen of lying gets mixed up in her lies and she’s lucky that Donghua is indifferent to most things because he doesn’t investigate further, even though he knows Sujin did some shitty thing. Donghua is really somehow useless. Anyways. He tells her to stay away from the people in his palace and from his fox. Also I forgot how old is this. The CGI really isn’t what it is now. It shows so much that the fox is computer generated. No one grabs it or pets it at the right places. It’s not even funny.
Ye Hua is going to inherit the throne in a month from then or so. Everybody’s happy. However, when he goes to tell Susu the news, she’s rather distant and pretends that she’s sleepy so he would leave. I mean, I would feel uneasy too if the man I loved took my eyes to give it to the one who pretends to be his childhood lover, you know. I think Susu should trust a little more Yehua, but Yehua definitely should trust a little more Susu and let her know what’s going on. Like, if he told her a little more, things wouldn’t have gone that bad, if you know what I mean.
Li Jing pays a visit to his brother and reveals to him that they are vessels for his father’s powers, were he to come back he would try to kill them three, even though they are his children. So that’s why he’ll keep Li Yuan imprisoned and won’t let him die, ever. Yanzhi wants to leave to the mortal realm. At first, Li Jing won’t let her, but she gains cause and he agrees to let her go. If I remember properly, Xuan Nü told her that her older brother is imprisoned and not dead... That sounds like another betrayal. He still loathes his wife and only wishes for Si Yin.
Everybody’s invited to the ceremony, even Li Jing who inquires about Susu, because he feels bad for that incident (remember, his mount set up fire to her palace, by accident). Sujin is praised for how she reacted to that question, when she was harmed by Susu (lies). While Yehua is facing his lightning shots, Nainai rushes in to tell Susu that Sujin has been appointed to marry Yehua after the ceremony. Then Susu is starting to have contractions. Meanwhile, Xuan Nü is also in labor, but she’s early. The doctor says she should give up the baby, but she won’t and threatens to have him killed if he doesn’t deliver the baby alive. Yehua needs to undergo is punishment, so more lightning for him. Susu doesn’t want Nainai to go get Yehua. All in all, it’s a big mess.
And that’s it for episode 24! I forgot how good is the music in this drama, it suits so well everything that is happening. Some parts didn’t age that well, but the soundtrack is still as great.

Love is red but so is blood
Part 1 ←you are here, part 2, part 3, part 4
Pairing- Zenitsu X d!m!reader
Genre- fluff
Sorry this is so long I kinda got ahead of myself 😅 btw green is going to be A.N's they aren't long anyway
Warning- suicidal mentioning, horrible writing, super long.
Summary- zenitsu fell for a demon. Who would've know. A boy who is scared to the bone by them, plus he's ment to kill them fell in love with one. Everything was going fine. He was happy. M/n was happy. All was good untill a fellow slayer found m/n and Zenitsu.
FEM!READERS DNI PLEASE!!!
—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_
Small giggles came from the boy on your lap. Yellow and blond hair shaking with every laugh. You were both laying in a small meadow seems that Zenitsu had a day, or night off. Finally.
Small gusts of wind knock some of the dead leaves off their branches making them fall to the ground.
Small flowers blossomed around the meadow making a range of colours from blue to purple and yellow.
"than he went to jump across the river. But he missed and fell in" the younger boy said before causing you and him to burst into laughter.
Pulling Zenitsu up a bit to hold him you breath in the slight honey sent before you let out a happy sigh.
It was nights like these where you sometimes forget that your a demon and he's human. You forget that when he grows old you're still going to be 19.
When he dies your still going to be alive and will have to live without him. But you made up your mind. When he dies old or young, you will die with him. Standing where you two met. Waiting for your never ending life to finish with the rays of the sunlight.
Hoping, just hoping that you'll be with him in the after life.
"m/n? You're zoning out again" a small and shy laugh coming from him. You can't help but smile.
"I'm fine love. I promise" you smile slightly at the boy before looking at the flowers. Suddenly a smile appears on you face.
"wait here for me yeah? I'll be back in a sec" you said, standing the boy up before running off faster that normal.
Just as quick as you left you came back with what looked like black and gold wire along with some charms and small crystals.
Setting the things down Zenitsu sat down examining the items you left on the ground.
Walking around you grabbed bundles of different flowers and set them down with the other items. Zenitsu instantly knew what you were going to do. Looking at him you could practically see his eyes sparkle.
After all, flower crowns were how you two met.
||—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—||
Zenitsu passed out, well passed out while asleep, in a forest not to far from where you were sat making flower crowns and bracelets. Sensing a person in the woods you decided to go check it out.
His yellow and orange triangled haori and yellow hair was sticking out even in the middle of the night.
'why is he out here?' you wondered to yourself before slowly approaching the passed out boy.
You were extra cautious once you saw his demon slayer uniform. Picking the boy up bridle and walking him over to the small field where you were originally came from.
Obliviously he would be pretty stunned when he wakes up but it would be even more of a shock when he see you.
Your demon features are very noticeable. Black horns with a ring or two on them. Nails are short for a demon but still pretty long. Black marks go from the very top of your finger to the bottom of them, dark red almost blood red eyes, sharp fangs, slightly pointed ears and a crown that you made out of obsidian shards. (I have no idea why I chose this but it looks cool in my mind)
You could shapeshift into more of a human appearance but that does take a bit of strength and preferably you don't really like it.
You sat the boy down and take off you jacket and his haori to act like a pillow and blanket before going and starting up the crown you were working on.
You were so focused on tring not to break the stem of the flowers that you had not realised Zenitsu was starting to wake.
Stirring and blinking, his vision started to focus again. Scanning around the area his eyes went straight to the male next to him.
You were so startled by the ear piercing wail coming from the boy that the wires on the crown snapped from where you jumped.
Cries and screams is all that came from Zenitsu untill you quickly got up and covered his mouth.
"shhh! You'll draw attention to us!" Whisper-yelling him to atlease quite down a bit. Spoiler. He didn't but Zenitsu only got louder the longer you held onto him.
Rolling your eyes you slapped him. That was what shut him up.
"finally" you said in relief. Sobs is all what you could hear from him. "Look sorry. It's just I don't really feel like fighting other demons today" that was a lie. You felt perfectly fine it just you wanted peace and quiet. Something you rarely get seems that, well your a demon.
He seemed to calm down a little bit. You took that as a sign to remake the flower crown. Sitting down in front of him cross legged you picked up the crown and started to reshape and make it.
"s-so yo-u're not goi-ing to k-ill me?" Zenitsu stuttered out. Tears landing on his haori, eyes red and a runny nose. "If I was I would have already killed you would've I?"
Zenitsu seemed lost in thought. Just, staring at you. 'how could a 'demon' be so....human' he thought.
He was zoning out focusing on how you hands ran the fragile wire around and through the stems of the flowers. The colours seem to be brighter under the moon's light.
"can I try" he froze not meaning to talk at all knowing that you would probably kill him. Literally.
"yeah, do you know how to make them?" You sounded so warm and human. "Uh- no not really" zenitsu stuttered out.
"here I'll tech you" you said that was followed by a soft smile.
||—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—_—||
Carefully twisting the thin wire around the flowers and charms you tied off the wire finishing off the crown.
It was a mixture of yellows, whites and light oranges. You felt your own crown being lifted off you head before being replaced with a much more lighter one.
You looked at zenitsu who had a smile plastered onto his face. "It suits you" he said cheerfully but quickly.
You placed the crown you made onto his head before kissing the top of his head. "So does yours"
"I love you m/n. I know I say it a lot but I truly mean it. The first time I said it to you it felt...right." Zenitsu said.
He knew that this relationship was against the rules. Unlike nezuko you still needed to eat humans. This resulted in Zenitsu having to take the flesh from people that had already died due to another demon attack.
Having to take so much flesh in order for you not to grow to hungry was definitely a task. Tanjiro was starting to catch on with what he was doing. Always asking why Zenitsu smelt like blood that wasn't his, even tho he didn't have any blood on him.
Eventually you started to grow less and less hungry. Only really relying on a bit of flesh once a month and little blood during the day.
You smiled before replying "I love you too" than leaning in to place a kiss on his lips. When you pulled away you noticed that Zenitsu had a tint of pink dusting his cheeks before it quickly went away.
Zenitsu swore that he heard someone else steps and breathing. He looked around but didn't find anyone. The meadow looked completely empty. 'i must be hearing things again' the yellow haired boy thought.
"you alright love?" You asked. A slight worried looked was glossed over your face. "I'm fine I just thought I heard something. But it's getting closer to day brake we should head home." He said before collecting your real crown and the stuff you brought.
Standing up you and Zenitsu went back to your small cabin hand in hand.
Little did you two know but there was someone watch closely. A fellow lower rank demon Slayer. Shocked about the idea of a slayer dating a demon, he sent a crow the location of your cabin.
This will be the last peaceful night for Zenitsu for a long time to come...

Hello ! I saw the enemies fo lovers things and I wanna request if possible
“ rich coming from the guy who tried to kill me three days ago. “
With frank if you would and thank you
yessirrr i love frank sm it’s not ok. also umm i may have accidentally written friends to enemies to lovers or something idk. and though i wouldnt necessarily call you friends at the start, you werent really enemies yet???? idk🐸just ummm yeh i love frank
also help how do i not go overboard???? i feel like i made this way too long, please help and i am sorry
warnings: canon-typical violence, swearing, frank being a bastard but then you’re like awwww he’s a cute bastard aaaaw
~~
Things were weird with Frank, and they always had been from the moment you stepped foot in the Entity’s realm. He always tunneled you relentlessly, and that made you think of him as a big asshole, but there were some strange details tacked onto the sentiment that greatly confused you, should you think about it for more than three seconds.
Sometimes, it seemed like he went easy on you in chases, like he put in no effort. He would chase you for a while, let you waste his time, and then leave without even getting a hit on you when he definitely had the ability to.
And you hated saying this, but when he handled you, it almost felt…gentle. Granted, he was a killer, and his job was to murder you, but your experiences with him did not quite line up with those of the other survivors.
They always described trials against Frank as “stepping on legos in the middle of the night” or something akin to that. You never felt like that, though—when he chased you, it felt fair. Almost as if he played nice with you. And more often than not, the killer would let you go when he caught you. The reason remained a mystery to you until quite a bit later.
This trial, Frank was in 100% bastard mode. You had begun to think of his trials as quite easy due to his seemingly calm nature around you, so you were rather caught off guard when he downed you in the first 30 seconds of the match and tossed you onto a hook, no gentleness whatsoever.
You wanted to yell at him and ask what the fuck was wrong with him until you realized this was his fucking job, and this is how he should have been treating you all along. Maybe you had just been imagining it all, but you could have sworn he used to leave you alone more than this. Something just felt different.
After you were unhooked, he went for you again. And again. And then you were dead, completely wiped out of the trial. Frank had demolished you with no remorse.
You knew it was silly to feel betrayed, but you really couldn’t help it. In such an insane and hellish place, anything that could be even remotely perceived as kindness seemed like so much more of a big deal than it truly was. So Frank’s supposed “gentleness” with you had felt somewhat like a friend doing you a selfless favor. Of course, it was not a selfless favor, and it was certainly nowhere near kindness, because he was still a killer chasing you with a knife, but your standards had really lowered in this place.
After that trial, you were back to hating Frank for tunneling and bullying you (like you probably should). You began to understand the survivors’ saying about the legos—and you hoped that Frank would step on some legos too, because he fucking sucked sometimes.
And for a while, that’s just how it was. You nearly forgot how he used to go easier on you, and how you used to do okay in his matches. Now every time you were pit against each other it just felt like you were being stuck with a bunch of pins; you never had any time to breathe or rest or do literally anything. He just went after you until you were gone, and there was next to nothing you could do about it.
Everything changed very suddenly during a trial at Ormond.
You were expecting the same old routine with this asshole—chase, blah blah blah, die. You hardly had energy to fight back anymore.
So when he arrived out of breath at the killer shack, somehow knowing you would be here, Frank was surprised to find you relaxing under the window with your arms loosely crossed, a disapproving scowl upon your countenance. It was enough to make him hesitate in his tracks.
You let out a deep breath, refusing to break eye contact with his mask; you kept up that menacing frown for as long as you could, trying to make him feel guilty (who knows if it was even possible for him to feel guilty? But it was worth a try).
“Just kill me,” you said, voice steady and seemingly unbothered. Underneath the surface, you were trembling, but you stood your ground. “That’s what you’re gonna do, isn’t it? You’re going to chase me until I’m miserable and kill me off as soon as you can?”
Frank went still, not even fidgeting with his knife like he usually did; he was intrigued by your sudden confidence.
You went on. “I’m really sick and tired of you, you know that? I’m sick of you and your bullshit. Why can’t you treat me like everybody else? At first, you went easy on me. Now you just torture me with your stupid mind games, and frankly, I’m sick of playing! I’m done with you—I don’t care anymore! Just kill me, and I’ll get out of your way, okay asshole? Mori me if you want. I don’t give a shit.”
You put your hands up exasperatedly, fully expecting him to take the offer and just send you back to the campfire right then and there. But the man sighed, pocketed his knife, and sat down right next to you as if this were a normal thing for him to do.
You scooted a few inches away out of instinct. Frank noticed, but he chose not to say a word about it.
It was a long time before he said anything, and when he finally did, you wanted to punch him so bad.
“It’s complicated,” he mumbled. And that was all.
Oh, yeah? It was complicated? You scoffed, hanging your head with a bitter smile. “Oh, okay. Sure.”
Silence again.
Awkward, suffocating silence.
And then Frank got up and left. You were unbothered for the remainder of the trial, not even a scratch or bruise on your body.
~~
Sometimes you simply did things, and you didn’t know why. This thing that you just did was irrational, stupid, unplanned, unwise, and everything in-between, and you knew it was, but frequently you just had no impulse control. Perhaps it was the Entity’s influence, or maybe you had always been this way—you couldn’t really remember.
How did you get here again? Why were you laying on the ground? And why did your leg hurt so fucking much?
Oh, yes. Yes, yes, you remember now.
Funnily enough, it seems as though the Entity, along with certain killers, did not like it when survivors tried to enter their side of the forest! But you did it anyways, and it appeared that you had suffered the consequences. It’s not like you had put much thought into it; where was the point in that when nothing mattered anymore and you were stuck in an endless cycle of death?
You remembered entering the killer’s woods, looking around, and doing…something. What was that something? You couldn’t be sure, but then you remembered somebody coming up to you and probably definitely hurting you. Yep, your leg definitely was in a lot of pain. You couldn’t even look at it. Did you pass out for a while? Maybe. How long were you out for?
You lay still there for a while, thinking. Man, it really hurt, and boy, were you miserable. Maybe more miserable than you’d ever felt here. The Entity normally healed wounds immediately, but perhaps you had just angered it so much you deserved to suffer.
Oh, dear! You seemed to be passing out at this time. Yes, that was almost certainly what was happening. Black spots danced across your eyes as your body began to feel distant and numb, but you didn’t feel very worried about it. In fact, you felt like making jokes right now, but you had nobody to make jokes to and you probably couldn’t even speak.
Just as you began to accept it, there was a strange thumping sensation vibrating through the ground growing closer…and closer…
Footsteps! That’s good!
Oh. Not if it’s a killer. That’s not good, probably.
But you had no way of protesting when you felt yourself being picked up, because those black spots in your eyes were dancing a lot faster now, perhaps something akin to an Irish jig, and you also couldn’t feel your limbs.
Then you were fast asleep again, dreaming of Irish dancers who were actually big fluffy cloud people wearing leprechaun clothes. Nobody but you would ever know this, and it was going to stay that way.
On the bright side, it made it a lot easier for your rescuer to carry you to safety like this.
~~
When you awoke once more, you were horrified to find yourself in the Ormond lodge of all places. You knew immediately what had happened and were determined to escape as soon as possible.
Your injured leg proved to be a huge problem, however, and you collapsed the second you attempted to find freedom. Trying again, you collapsed once more, and probably maimed yourself further in the process.
Hearing the commotion from the second floor, your least favorite member of The Legion descended down from the main stairs, refusing to look directly at you even as he scooped you up and plunked you (gently) back onto the couch, which was rather comfortable (not that you would ever tell him that).
So he was playing it cool, huh?
Okay. You could play it cool, too. You were cool. Smooth as butter.
No. You really couldn’t be cool in a situation like this, and plus, your mind was still a little woohoo since whatever accident had occurred. Suddenly you blurted out, “Frank, I hate your guts.”
And he had the audacity to laugh. He laughed at you! He did the man chuckle thing, as if what you were saying was funny. No! You were completely serious! You did hate his guts!
Perhaps your face showed how upset you were, because he started to apologize (still laughing).
“Maybe you should go back to sleep,” Frank said after calming down a bit.
No. You couldn’t go back to sleep. You did not want to experience dancing cloud people dressed as leprechauns ever again in your life, for the rest of eternity. Never again.
So you shook your head violently, refusing to give an explanation, which just provoked Frank to anger all of a sudden. If you went back to sleep, he could have some alone time while the rest of The Legion was gone. He kept pushing, and you kept resisting, and he pushed and you resisted, until finally he gave up and let you off with a warning. If you made him mad again, he was throwing you out in the snow.
Fine with me, you said. Okay, I’ll do it right now, he said. No balls, you said.
So then Frank casually went to scoop you up in his arms again, and you started to freak out and beat your hands against his chest until he put you back down. He was was awfully mindful of your hurt leg for someone who was about to throw you into the snow.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry—please don’t throw me out,” you fussed. You thought he wouldn’t actually do it. You didn’t know it, but you were right—he was just messing with you because it was funny seeing you scared.
After a bit more griping back and forth, Frank began to grow concerned about your leg. He didn’t know how to bring up the topic because things were so odd between the two of you; this was your first interaction since the brief encounter in the shack. But he swallowed his pride, because the wound seemed to be getting worse by the minute.
“Hey, do you want me to, uhh…get some supplies?” Frank asked awkwardly. When you didn’t understand, he continued, “Your leg? It looks like it hurts…I could fix it if you want.”
You barked out a laugh at his words, unbelieving of this shift in attitude. “Rich coming from the guy who tried to kill me three days ago,” you snickered, genuinely finding it amusing.
Frank took offense. He was trying to be nice for once, and you thought it was funny. And his situation really was complex, whether you chose to believe it or not. Maybe he should just tell you to get it off of his chest.
“Listen,” he said, voice laced with seriousness. “When I told you things were complicated, I meant it.”
Sensing the mood change from his tone and body language, you stopped smiling and decided to pay attention to him. Just this once. Never again. After this you could go back to hating him.
Frank continued. “The Entity was going to start…well, hurting me, if I didn’t start doing better in trials. I really didn’t want to sacrifice you, which is embarrassing to admit, but I’ll say it. And I don’t think it liked that.”
You were surprised. And also relieved that you had been right all along—he had been going easy on you at first.
“Why me, though?” you asked, confused. “Why wouldn’t you want to sacrifice me? What about the other survivors?”
If the slight tilt of his head at your question didn’t answer it for you, the way he started tapping his feet and cracking his knuckles so nervously did.
Boy, if looks could kill, you would have died instantly at the scowl Frank sent your way; you grinned pridefully at the realization that this man was down bad. You couldn’t see the expression behind his mask, though, which Frank was thankful for.
He hated every second of this, but you loved it. You reveled in his embarrassment.
Leaning forward on your hands, you begged, “Tell me more! I want to hear all about your feelings for me.”
“I could stab you right now, you know that?”
“But you won’t. You liiiiike me!”
“What are you, eight years old?”
“No, but I am severely injured and have lost a lot of blood so I am not necessarily in the right headspace at the moment.”
“You make a fair point.”
“So tell me! What’s your favorite thing about me?”
“Your ass.”
“No, really.”
“Okay, your ass and your hair.”
“You know what, Frank, I still hate your guts.”
“No, you don’t.”
You paused for a moment. It was probably the blood loss talking, you decided later, but you said, “No. Maybe I don’t.”

no but you know what else
He always shows up in places where people have just died (the Serpent Sister that got turned to gold at the pie factory, a bunch of the Baker's Dozen getting exploded with the unicorn horns). which makes sense; even if he's going out of his way to target Puss, he's still Death and has a job to do, so he'd be there to collect up their souls or whatever
WHICH MEANS
That not only was Death following him around for the entire movie
BUT
He was DRAGGING AN INCREASINGLY LARGE NUMBER OF DEAD PEOPLE'S SOULS ALONG WITH HIM
WHILE FOLLOWING PUSS EVERYWHERE
FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING MOVIE
Which is the FUNNIEST THING IN THE WORLD to me
like can you imagine
...
"DEAR LORD DID I JUST TURN TO STONE"
"Gold, actually. Name's Death. Nice to meet you."
"...wait, I'm dead?!"
"I mean your instinctive reaction upon being shown a golden hand called 'The Midas Touch' was to grab it with both hands. I don't know what you were expecting."
"Uh. Crap, I didn't think this through. So what, are you going to escort me to the afterlife or something?"
"...Well. Not yet."
"Huh? Why not?"
"I've got some, shall we say, unfinished business to attend to. I wasn't planning on having to pick up any other souls along the way, so I... guess you'll have to come with me."
...
"Gonna be honest. Of all the ways I thought I'd go out. 'Being ripped to pieces by sentient flowers that then went on fire for no reason, right after watching Jared be digested alive by another sentient flower' was not how I imagined it."
"Well, not that it makes a difference. You're all with me now, so..."
"At least we're all here together!"
"Not really. There's like... five of us. Including that random Serpent Sister over there."
"'Sup."
"So... what, we're following this overdramatic furry around on his weird revenge scheme before he finally takes us to whatever's next?"
"I mean yeah, pretty much."
"I would kill all of you if I could."
...
"He... shot me! He actually shot me!"
"Yeah, surprise surprise, throwing your lot in with the evil plum-pie man was a bad idea. The rest of the club's right here."
"HI, GUYS!"
"This is great! I mean... not GREAT, we're all dead, but we can be dead as a team!"
"Honestly I've been wishing I was dead for eight years now."
"Huh."
"Working for Mr Horner will do that to ya."
"That or it'll just kill you directly."
"Alright - you lot sit tight, I've got to go pose dramatically on a rock for a few seconds, then I'll be right back."
"...why?"
"It'll freak out Puss."
"Yeah but how does that help you kill him?"
"Hey, that's a good point - if you're Death, why can't you just waltz in and kill him right now so we can all move on?"
"Juego con mi comida."
"...seriously?"
"Especially when the food deserves knocking down a peg, having a few feathers ruffled before the final blow. You know?"
"Uggggh..."
"How long is this going to TAKE?"
"Same, I wanna die already!"
...
"Wow."
"Dang, that looked like it hurt."
"Oh, not at all, falling from a cliff and being crushed under a massive carriage is just a Tuesday for me. Yes, it hurt."
"I mean, I knew Mr Horner was capable of some pretty messed-up stuff, but wow."
"Right, that's it. How many of you, exactly, are there here now?"
"Wait, hold on, let me check - one, two, three..."
"So we started out a baker's dozen - hence the name, but now there's only one left - so twelve - plus Python over there, so..."
"...thirteen, yep."
"Rrrrrright."
"Well, sorry pal, but like... none of us WANTED to die."
"I did."
"As if."
"Speak for yourself, Jared!"
"I meant none of us CHOSE to die. We didn't sign up for this either."
"I know. I know."
"So can you take us to wherever you're taking us, please?"
"Soon."
"How soon is 'soon'?"
"For as long as it takes. In fact... yes, I feel our final confrontation is near."
"Greeeeaaaaat..."
...
"Looks like it's just Sage now. Poor her, she looks terrified."
"How long d'you think it'll take before she snuffs it and joins us?"
"Oh, she's not even making it to the Star."
"You're on."
"C'mon, Sage!"
"You got this, girl!"
"Ok, seriously, how long's Death been in that dumb cave?"
"Hey, we don't know how long it takes to just grab one single measly cat and kill him when you're a literal unstoppable force of nature- oh, hi there Death, didn't see you coming back!"
"That's evident. And for what it's worth, I was closer this time than I've ever been."
"Cool, cool-cool-cool."
"You should have seen the look on Puss' face... this was the most terrified he's ever been, I know it."
"You STILL haven't caught him?"
"Oh, COME ON!"
"Right. First of all. I told you, juego con mi comida. And second - there were others. I couldn't risk being seen before our final confrontation."
"Great. So will this next one finally, FINALLY be the actual for-real final confrontation?"
"Yes. Yes it will."
...
"H-h-he just left me there. Didn't even think twice... he just... left me to die."
"Aww, Sage, it's okay, we've all been there."
"Yeah, welcome to the 'Mr-Horner-is-a-jackass' club. We've got jackets."
"Anyway - how's the fight going? We can't quite see from down here."
"Oh - pretty fantastic. Everyone's going at each other, they'll probably tear each other apart before anyone gets the wish. Though I got a glimpse of the ol' Stabby Tabby myself, and I could've sworn he looked... really freaked out."
"You don't say."
"Yeah, he was terrified."
"So you know the weird giant wolf dude that dragged you out of the Star?"
"Um. Yeah. Said he was 'Death'. I think he was being metaphorical though..."
"Oh, he was NOT. Trust me."
"Anyway, yeah, he's primarily after Puss in Boots. We all just happened to... die in his presence along the way, I guess. I've been here since the river."
"I was here since those flowers."
"Hah! He's been lugging me around since the factory."
"...who are you again?"
"So after this actual totally-for-real last big showdown, he's finally going to take us to... whatever's next. The afterlife or whatever."
"Yeah, he's been fobbing us off for a while now, but he verbally promised us this time. When he comes back, he's going to have Puss in Boots' soul in his hand, and then we can all finally die in peace."
...
"You didn't get him."
"YOU DIDN'T GET HIM?!"
"No... no I didn't."
"Oh, come ON!"
"Literally after all that time, you finally have him in your grasp and you just... WALK AWAY?"
"Did you just miss the entire life lesson there or...?"
"Dude. We're villains. I couldn't give less of a rat's ass about your life lesson."
"Well, I could."
"No. You're seriously telling us you dragged us all around the Dark Forest-"
"Or even longer than that!"
"-for the purpose of killing that stupid cat, and then the time finally comes and you won't even DO it-"
"I KNOW. I know."
"...So what gives?"
"I... abused my power, would be the simplest way to put it. I would've abused it infinitely further had I taken a life by force."
"I mean, you are Death. Isn't that what you do?"
"No. Not like this. Not before it's time."
"Well, to be fair, the little scamp kind of deserved it."
"...Not anymore."
"For real?"
"Huh. Note to self: get a redemption arc to avoid dying."
"Nice try, chico. But that's not all. I was misleading you. I drew out your punishment by bringing you with me on this wild goose chase. None of this ever needed to happen. I... am sorry."
"Wait."
"Does this mean-"
"Are we finally-"
"That's right. I'm taking you straight to the afterlife. No more detours."
"YEAH!"
"Oh, finally!"
"I've never been so stoked to be dead before!"
"Hear that, Mr Horner? I DID IT! Now I can finally lay down and die."
...
"...wait, what's that?"
...
"Look at the Star... what's happening to it?"
...
"Is that..."
"Did he..."
"Is he really ginormous or is it like a perspective thing?"
...
"Oh no."
"Please, please not now..."
...
"Death?"
"Death, please don't tell us you have to go back and get him..."
...
"Wait right here."
"NO!"
"Oh, COME ON!"
"Urgggggh..."
"Not him, not him, dear lord why did it have to be HIM..."
"He couldn't have waited like ten minutes to die?"
"Or just stayed in that dumb infinity-bag?"
"Seriously, we can't even escape him in death..."
...
Needless to say, I think the final trip to the afterlife would've been... awkward.
AND ANOTHER THING I think it's absolutely batshit hysterical that Death just fuckin follows Puss around like his own personal sleep paralysis demon for the whole movie and no one fuckin knows that literal death is tryin to get his ass until he just waltzes through the barrier at the climax to throw the fuck down and everyone is like shit who's this guy what's his story like NO ONE IS AWARE THAT DEATH HAS BEEN WATCHING THE WHOLE TIME NO ONE EVEN SEEMS TO KNOW IT'S FUCKIN HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE HE'S JUST THIS GUY WHO SHOWS UP OUT OF THE BLUE TO WRECK PUSS'S SHIT AFTER THEY ALL WENT THROUGH A WHOLE LOT OF BAFOOLERY FIGHTING EACH OTHER OVER THE MAP AND THE WISH AND I JUST UGH THIS MOVIE I LOVE IT SM

characters dealing with a deep sleeper! s/o  (_ _)。゜zzZ
characters: bokuto, oikawa & saiki k
tw// swearing, fluff, mentions of death, illness, funerals, sexual references
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kōtarō Bokuto
he literally thought you died
this was your first time sleeping over at his home and last night, y’all were stuffing your faces with treats until your stomachs ached
you had mentioned several times how you were feeling sick - even after bokuto took you out for a late-night run - but he just told you to take a pain-killer and sleep it off
but now he was kinda regretting not calling someone to help
like what if the sickness was a symptom to a deadly disease which took you overnight?
plus, he had tried everything he could think of to wake you up: he shook you, he blasted music from his phone, he opened the curtains to allow blinding light to shine on you, he flicked spits of cold water onto your face and he literally wafted cookies around the room in hopes you’d catch the scent
but it was no use as even after all that, you didn’t move an inch
he tried to check your pulse which he believed to be on the wrist but he couldn’t think it
so either he was too stupid to find the exact location or......you didn’t have a pulse
he’ll admit, it was an eerie thought that there could be a dead person in his bed rn but even he considered that a rather outlandish idea
how could a person as healthy as you just die overnight? so he did what any reasonable person would do in that situation-- no, not call a doctor
he held a funeral for his beloved s/o 💀
he gathered all five of the plushies laying around his room (all of which were owls) and lined them up on the foot of the bed
‘we are all gathered here today to celebrate the epic life of my partner, (y/n) (l/n).’ he sobbed into the sleeve of the black blazer he had pulled out of his closet, ‘gone too soon.’
silence. but in his mind he was met by a chorus of ‘aww’s and whimpers from the crowd
‘i loved them. (y/n) was my rock; they helped me through some of the hardest points in my life--’
his speech was cut off upon hearing one of the audience members pipe up, ‘bo, what are you doing?’
a wave of excitement washed over him as he scurried up to the line of guests, closely examining each one, ‘i didn’t know y’all could talk!’
you rolled your eyes before leaning forward and gently tapping the back of his head, ‘it’s me.’
upon laying his eyes on you, healthy and alive, his lips curled into a foolishly large grin as he immediately pulled you into a tight hug, ‘(Y/N), you’re alive!’ he cried
you gasped at his rather dramatic reaction before slowly melting into his embrace, ‘yes, i am.’
as your lips parted from the skin of his jaw and he slowly let his arms fall from your waist, you finally inquired, ‘did you hold a funeral for me?’
bokuto’s eyes-widened at your ‘crazy’ suggestion, ‘uhhhh, nooooo.’
if his elongating of each word wasn’t enough to show that he was lying, the dead giveaway would have to be the sheet of A4 paper with ‘(Y/N)’S FUNERAL 😭’ written on it that was stuck to the door with blu-tac
ignoring his completely false reply, you leaned back on the bed and picked up on the owl plushies, gently stroking it’s soft fur, ‘are these the guests? why are there only five?’
bokuto shrugged, picking up one himself and absentmindedly attempting to balance it on your head, ‘seven; if you count me and you.’
you giggled, about to make a inquire about the names of each guest until bokuto suddenly through his arms around you again
‘why didn’t you tell me that you are such a deep-sleeper before?! i was so worried - i thought you died! please never die on me again, (y/n)?’
you smiled, pulling back to plant a sweet kiss on his cheek, ‘i promise.’
Tumblr media
Tōru Oikawa
he would take advantage of this opportunity lol
the first time y’all slept over together as a couple, he had no idea that you were as deep of a sleeper as you actually are
like he thought you meant ‘i sometimes sleep through my alarms’ deep-sleeper
NOT ‘IT TAKES A WHOLE NATURAL DISASTER TO WAKE ME UP IN THE MORNING’ DEEP-SLEEPER (/h)
anyway, at first, he’d probably just freshen up while you sleep: take a shower, wash his face, brush his teeth, floss etc so he’s no longer effected by that ✨morning crust ✨
but when he pokes his head out of the bathroom and noticed that your sleep asleep, he tries to blow-dry his hair bc he knows how much you like it when it’s all fluffy
but his blow-dryer was quite loud so he put it on for a few seconds to see if it’s wake you up and just as he expected, you were still sound asleep
so he blew-dry his hair until it was that soft texture that you liked so much- all while you were still like (∪.∪ )...zzz even though the blow-dryer was making a racket
you were still sleeping and upon looking at the time, he realised that it was completely fair considering it was currently half past 8 and he had just woken up extremely early for some unknown reason
he didn’t want to wake you so he was just doing to go out for a run or make breakfast until he caught a glimpse of himself in mirror
o.O
despite his  puffy hair and pearly-white smile, he still looked sloppy
but it was definitely bc of his stained, torn, washed-out pyjamas tbh
he was just wearing an old T-shirt that he’s had for god-knows how long and a pair of grey sweatpants; it wasn’t a look
he had no idea what possessed him to wear such casual nightwear while you were at his house - especially when you chose to wear something so relaxed yet titillating - but he knew that he needed to change
after a while of rummaging through his nightwear drawer, the best he could find was a pair of white, silk, loose-legged trousers which he had bought for a halloween costume many years ago
it was pretty classy though :)) he was sure that you’d like it
however, he still couldn’t find anything to wear on his top half but there is no fashion problem oikawa can’t solve
thus, he went shirtless ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
he also threw on some jewellery too, just for the lols
you weren’t awake yet thought, so after he set up some candles to create a ‘mood’, he just sat next to you on the bed, scrolling on his phone and anticipating your reaction once you woke up
for a moment, he thought that he might’ve went when too far but upon taking a look at himself in his front-facing camera, he realised that there was no harm in spicing things up
once he noticed one of your eyes slowly flutter open, he quickly tossed his phone to the side and turned his body to face you, shooting you a kind smile and he gently ran a hand through his fluffy hair, ‘morning, angel~’ he cooed
you grumbled your greeting in response, then proceeded to rub your eyes to make sure you were seeing him correctly, ‘what are you wearing, tōru?’
‘can a guy not dress up for his special someone anymore?’
you rolled your eyes, playfully slapping his chest and going to hop out of bed until he pulled you back down against the sheets
a faint gasp escaped your lips but you were quickly hushed by oikawa pushing his finger against your lips, ‘you’re not going anywhere, (y/n).’
Tumblr media
Kusuo Saiki
this was the first time you ever slept over at his house or next to him yet y’all had been dating for year and a half
he was just scared that he might accidently do something crazy in his sleep (bc of his powers ofc) and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt you 🥺
you were patient with him though but bc y’all had never woken up together before, he had no idea how deep of a sleeper you are
he thought it was cute at first bc you were laying there like the beauty you are, lookin’ all serene and calm and stuff
but after a while, he got bored on his own  #•̀ ︿ •́
also, you promised to bake macarons with him for breakfast and he was hungry as hell, still he didn’t want to eat without you but if he didn’t wake you up rn to make macarons, he’d surely starve to death while they were in the fridge
on any other day, he’d just try do it himself but when you helped him make food- it just hit different 😍
‘(y/n), wake up.’  he spoke into your mind using his telepathy, while light nudging your arm, ‘i’m hungry.’
you didn’t reply, seeming completely knocked out
he tried the next best thing, holding his annoying alarm noise near (but not too close) to your ear
still nothing, though
his last human attempt was aggressively pulling your blanket away but even after that you showed no signs of waking up so he realised that he’d have to resort to using his physic abilities
he considered using his astral projection to possess your body but he felt as though taking over your body might cross a few boundaries
but he did try duplicating himself so he could shake you from many different angles but it was still no use
he continued to use his telepathy to try wake you up but it didn’t seem to work either
after multiple different attempts of using his powers to try wake you up; here he was, standing in the middle of some dystopian, apocalyptic scene - alarms ringing in the distant along with sirens, screaming, honking and wails. everything around him seemed to be engulfed by flames which created thick, smoky air
he wasn’t really sure how he got here but he was pretty sure it started around the time he tried to form an energy ball
whatever 🤷‍♂️ it’s no biggie
he jumped back in time so he was standing next to your bed once again, exactly where he left off before he created the energy ball
he stared down at your sleeping figure and let out an exasperated sigh as he realised that he’d have to employ one of his most dangerous tactics
he really hoped it didn’t have to come to this
‘(y/n), if you get up right now.’ his voice rung through your head, ‘i speak with my voice.’
just like that, both of your eyes shot open as you hastily sat up on the bed
‘do it, saiki!’ you cheered, a foolishly large grin plastered on your features
and he couldn’t help but smile too
curse you for being so cute

Please yandere v! All might or aizawa as a spooky Christmas ghost?
Christmas Nightmare: Yandere! Ghost Shouta Aizawa
Hey there! Thank you so much for requesting! I had fun writing this. Hope you guys like it! :)
Check out my MASTERLIST for more!
Yandere! Ghost Shouta Aizawa:
It was 2 days before Christmas. You were on your way home from Home Depot. You had gotten your Christmas tree and decorations. And since you decided to buy it so late, you had to drive out of city to get the tree as those in the city were all sold out. But hey, at least you got a good deal!
Since it was a long drive back home, you had decided to do your grocery shopping too. As you were driving, munching on some chips, you noticed it had started snowing. The snow was covering the trees that were on either side of the road. It was getting dark, and only the lights from your car were illuminating the road.
Of course your old car had to break down. And that too in the middle of nowhere, where there was no cell service either. And you don't remember seeing any cars on your way either. As you were trying to get a signal, you almost didn't see the wooden cabin that was a bit hidden by the trees.
Now you've watched tons of horror movies to know that you should not go there. But it was getting cold, and now you could either die by hypothermia, or you could go there and hope that there is not a serial killer inside.
You chose the latter option. You went to the cabin and knocked a few times. When no one answered, you pushed the heavy wooden door open. In the dark, your hands looked for a light switch. When you found one and switched it on, you looked around the cabin. You appeared to be standing in the living room, there was little furniture, dust had accumulated everywhere. You found the fireplace and fortunately there was still some wooden logs and a matchbox there. You lit the fireplace up and decided to look around. You were surprised to see that the cabin was actually quite big. And it looked like it used to be inhabited by a family; you found some furniture, a few toys and some other stuff. It looked like that the cabin had been abandoned for a quite some time. You looked in the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat, but you found nothing. It was a good idea that you had some snacks to get you to get you by.
You went back to the living room, sitting near the fire. As you were warming up, you looked out the window. It was snowing heavily now. You took your phone out and to your surprise you found a single service bar. You called for help, but the signal kept breaking up, and they managed to tell you that they wouldn't be able to get there as it was snowing too hard; the roads were blocked. Plus, it was Christmas time, nobody is going to want to help you now anyways. You hoped that help or anyone would drive by in the morning.
As you were lost in your thoughts, you heard the sound of someone walking. Heavy footsteps. There's someone inside the cabin.
You sat frozen, waiting for the serial killer to come. However, a few more minutes passed, but no one appeared. Curious, you decided to see who was there. You hoped it would be an animal. But after you had searched the entire cabin, you found no one. Neither an animal, nor a person.
Hm, maybe its a ghost. You thought to yourself. But I should've been able to see one due to my quirk.
Your quirk: Dead Eye, helped you see the dead. You had seen a lot of ghosts, most of them were harmless, and the bad ones usually just wanted to be left alone. That's why you weren't scared of ghosts anymore. People are far scarier really.
Maybe this ghost was just passing by. Or maybe your mind's just playing tricks on you. You were getting tired, so you decided to sleep on the old couch near the fireplace. The warmth lulled you to sleep, not knowing that someone was watching you.
When you woke up the next morning, the fire was almost dying out. You checked your phone a signal, call, message, anything. You looked outside the window, there was snow everywhere. You couldn't even see the road. It didn't look like you were getting out of here today. Or tomorrow. No one is gonna come on Christmas to help you. Which meant you were going to spend Christmas here in the cabin, alone.
Deciding to make the best out of your situation, you got the tree and the decorations out of your car. After you had brought the tree inside, you went to look for some cleaning supplies and cleaned the place up a bit. Once you had done that, you decorated the tree up. You kept on checking if someone was driving by or if you got some service, but you unfortunately didn't. As you were making yourself some dinner, you heard footsteps again. You also heard a door open and shut. And you felt someone creeping up on you. You whipped around and you finally saw the culprit.
"Do you need something?" you asked the pale man with red eyes and black hair. He looked a bit surprised hearing your question. "Well?" you pushed, your own heart pounding. "You can see me?"he asked, confused. "Oh you're a ghost! Yeah, I can see the dead due to my quirk." The man was even more surprised as you introduced yourself to him, not scared at all. "I'm...Aizawa. What are you doing here?" You explained your situation to him, and how you'll be out of his hair the day after Christmas hopefully. You both apologised and thanked him for letting you into his home.
The more you talked the more Aizawa felt happy? It had been so long since he had any sort of conversation, even though it was mostly you talking. It had been too long since he felt happy.
Aizawa apologised too for trying to scare you. He just wanted to be alone, no meddling humans to disturb him from his sleep.
You both kept on talking, you telling some stories and just rambling on, Aizawa just humming and sometimes gave a small smile. You're so adorable. So nice. And warm too.
He loved how you cleaned up his place and decorated the tree. He remembered the good times back when he was alive. And even though he was a villian, he still remembers the cozy days of Christmas he used to spend with his family. Family. The family the betrayed him. The same family he used to do break the law for. The same family that went to the cops to tell on him when they found out what he had been doing to provide for them.
Of course he killed them. He did not regret it one bit. What he did regret though was killing himself after that, thinking that he'd never be able to find love again. When in reality, he was looking right at it. You. Its you. You'll be his love again.
When you woke up on Christmas morning, you went to check your phone but you couldn't find it. You were sure you had it on you. As you were looking around, Aizawa came and wished you a Merry Christmas. You smiled and wished him as well.
Aizawa had brought you some eggs from a nearby bird's nest. You didn't want be rude, so you made them and had your breakfast. You made some small talk, telling him about the world, how advance it has become. But he was really just interested in your life. What do you do for a living? What are your hobbies? How many people know that you're here?
His questions were weird. But you thought that he's just an old ghost, and also has no company; he's just bored.
You were still talking when you heard the sound of a car. You whipped your head to the window and saw a car slowly driving by. Finally. You thought. I'm getting out of here now.
As you went towards the door, hoping that the driver will see you and help you, you suddenly felt something hit your head before you blacked out.
When you woke up, you found yourself in of the bedrooms. Few rays of the moonlight were escaping the boarded window, indicating it was night time. What happened? As events of the morning came rushing back to you, you realised you were in grave danger. You tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge even though there was no lock.
Suddenly, you were thrown to the bed, the mattress squeaking under you. Aizawa stood at the foot of the bed, his red eyes glowing in the dark. You tried to get of the bed, but it was like something was holding you down. You looked at him bewildered.
Aizawa started to explain "I've become attached to you. No. I've fallen in love with you. I know you're not in love with me right now but you will be." He walked towards you "you don't need to worry. I'll figure out a way for us to be together when I kill you. Then we can live here happily ever after." He stroked your hair. You went to kick him but he caught your leg in a tight, painful grip. He gripped your chin and forced you to look at him. "Now, now. Don't do something you'll regret. You don't wanna be on the naughty list now, do you?"
Tumblr media
Hope you guys liked this one! Requests are still open! :)
