Worked on a couple character drawings today and finished them!

#i did use watercolour to add a simple background for Percy #i always planned for him to have a loose background. i just didn't feel like killing my wrist after hours of using coloured pencils #so. watercolour #used the more transparent pallette 'cause I didn't eant the colours to be too strong #the other one is much richer with the pigments and generally used more for stronger colours #namely the wing refs i still need to finish #all the more vibrant tones in those are from the second pallette #plus now i know how my big sketchbook responds to watercolour!#do long as i press the page for a bit to keep it sorta flat #anyways #proper tagging now lol #avians #wings #winged characters #Charcoal Fraser #Percy Arctic #might go back and recycle the first long-ish story i wrote and revamp it for these guys #if i can bring myself to read my nearly decade old writing from when i first started #maybe adjust the fonts and their size #make it less of a pain to read #maybe

oh! wow! this one's interesting

at some point there was this really stupid looking guy who intially had faux's spot as "third main dreamside character" (though he was made before dreamside was ever properly concepted). he was based off of nyan cat, though as I iterated on his design I branched out into something more unique

I ended up scrapping him since he just kinda. had no personality whatsoever. it is what it is I suppose
