in my opinion, shotaro is the most fashion forward out of the members, so naturally, his taste in scents seems to be more adventurous too. bcs of this, finding just one fragrance was super hard lol; i feel like he'd be into diff types of scent. nevertheless, i think le mâle by jean paul gaultier meshes quite well with his freespirited nature. the bergamot and mint notes accentuate that but the vanilla makes it sweet and warm, almost in an edible way. yet the lavender makes this aromatic?? like expensive aftershave if you will, which is super manly tew🫣 this perfume is also quite loud in my experience so, like his outfits, it'd grab attention whenever he goes somewhere.

eunseok also seems like the type of guy who leans more towards masculine scents, but not as loud as shotaro's. terre d'hermès eau givrée by, suprise, hermès, is just that: manly, sophisticated yet mischievous. it's giving "i have my shit together, but i know how to have fun" yk? the citrusy notes are super fresh which reflects his "relaxed" attitude but, it's not warm nor sweet. bcs of the juniper, it's quite sharp, spicy and yet, almost feels like the cold? idk but it's the opposite of a warm scent, it's like a cold breeze (briize :D) on a summer night?? pls dont @ me, this is what my nose is telling me. also the woody base gives it a manly vibe. this particular photo of him just fits this scent so well UGH. he looks so good.

ANOTHER SUPER MASCULINE FRAGRANCE !! i mean is this surprising?? acqua di gio profumo by giorgio armani pairs well with his masculine yet playful personality. it's similar to shotaro's and eunseok's with the citrus BUT this one is particularly deep bcs of the incense note in the base. it's super aquatic but not watery nor smth that will fade away in three hours. it's the type of perfume you'll smell while walking in the street and think "wow, this is a man." LIKE IM NOT KIDDING LOL. this is something that WILL get compliments, especially from women. and idk... i don't think he'd be experimental with his perfume; it's a classic for a reason.

we all know he's a bit silly despite his (failed) efforts in keeping a mysterious facade. so i think this desire to be seen as a "cool" guy also translates into wearing a perfume that matches that. okay ngl i struggled a bit for wonbin. but when i smelled it, i was convinced. black datura by miller harris is dark, sultry and surprisingly sweet, which totally fits. it gives me the vibes of an 80s rockstar. the flowery and fruity notes combined with the smoky amber and musk just screams wonbin to me. it's dark and sexy. this is also a unisex scent, which ties well with his attitude towards fashion and style; he's not afraid of wearing something unique and this perfume is def rare to smell in the wild.

i feel like sohee isn't the type to care too much abt this; he probably has few scents he likes and just rotate between those. he seems like he likes refreshing vibrant scents without being too overbearing nor sharp. l'eau d'issey pour homme by issey miyake is so sohee coded to me; the mint, mandarin and yuzu notes give this fragrance a youthful vibe. it's almost sparkly? it's literally summer in a bottle. but compared to other summery scents, this one is more green than blue (aquatic) bcs of the earthy notes like sage and vetiver which kinda matches his more grounded personality—he seems like a very down-to-earth dude. the musk makes this more intimate, and the cedar and sandalwood gives this scent a slight masculine edge. that coordinates nicely with his introverted boyish charms.

in my head, seunghan's a total romantic. i feel like he'd want to wear something that will woo his partner and eternity by calvin klein is perfect. it's been around since the 90s and is still going strong; i dont think he'd wanna explore too much. this scent is clean, citrusy and aromatic that reminds me of his shy yet outgoing? personality. but after a few hours it's less of that and more musky, and woody, which is manly, intimate to me. this isn't a scent for clubbing nor for young immature guys. but the slightly masculine vibe matches well with his charisma on stage. the mature yet nostalgic vibe kinda ties well w/ his dependable and considerate nature.

at last! i think anton doesn't want a super loud and striking scent bcs of his more quiet personality—he'd much prefer something intimate, a scent you'd be able to smell when in close proximity (like hugging or smth🤭). i think lazy sunday morning by replica (maison margiela) is perfect for that: it's clean, and musky which gives a "your skin but better" smell. and honestly this is smth i'd wear too! it's cozy, and smells like fresh sheets to me. like i said, this is perfect for snuggling together on a couch... and out of the members, he seems like the most approachable so i feel like this meshes well w that, as it's quite unisex and appealing to almost everybody.

Oh what? You dont get enough appreciation if my ask got you like that! Your stories are awesome!! While i will shamelessly admit its the oc x reader thing that lure me in, the way you love your characters sm that you keep developing them is exciting for me too! Before sending my previous ask i read all the webtoon, while im really lost (i understood it after few reread) uphill daisies, the lovecraft one is very fun and so cute! Lovecraft is my fav webtoon of yours. While I, once again shamelessly, feel sad if there's no reader content (im needy of their attention and need to be included LOL) i understand how hard it is to include a reader into your projects and i also understand if you want to grow your characters as their own series rather than fanservice characters and to be honest! Im excited with lovecraft series (im taking my time absorbing uphill daisies T—T) take your time writing though! Drawing multiple webtoon with such complicated world building and lots of character must be difficult and time consuming, cheering for ya!

What better way to market a series if not to make readers fall in love with them? Shameless (x GN Reader) fanservice! And as for the lack of reader content, it kinda is true in UD because it's meant to be a mystery/crime series buuuuuuuttttt for the CatboX series, there'd be 'readers' appearing in the series.

LCH will have approximately 6-7 readers (although they are more of a character, I still consider them to be a romanced readers), with almost all the main characters paired with at least one reader! The one with the most spotlight is expected to be Scribe (Caelus) because he's my favorite.

As for another unpublished CatboX series would be 'The System Forbids' for the 2025 contest (if I have enough time to spare after finishing at least 3-5 episodes of UD). The OG novel protagonist (aka FMC) is pretty much the reader with the amount of romcom going on although it's not the best x reader.

Identity Crisis is pretty much Blue with reader except it's girlfriend now. His character is still problematic (yandere?) in the series [IC has no chance of being republished for now]. Yulian is Yulian. He's also problematic and I can kinda see the slander he'll receive if UD is published until the ending.

Why am I yapping (slaps slaps slaps), anywayyyyyyy words can't express how much I love your support. Thanks for sparing your time to read my current works (and years years ago work…). It really motivates me to keep going and makes me know there's still someone waiting and reading my work.

For you getting confused over UD, lemme tell you something, it’s because the second episode is a bad pacing decision, and makes no sense to be slapped out of nowhere without a proper continuation. The only good thing from that webtoon right now is the opening so I am amazed if you can even understand a bit of it (because I won't as a reader)

I've always had the dilemma of making my webtoon. Most times I wish I could just tailor myself according to what's trending (like Yulian or Blue) but I ended up working on other characters and feel bad for providing 'who the fuck' stories. Another concern is that the 'reader' is now an established character with personal lore to the point it no longer feels inclusive… not to mention I mostly make GN content, it kind of concerns me how every GN reader here would feel (Since it's all just female and I have no plan to add new readers).

Regarding mischaracterization, I understand you sm anon TwT. Even I as their mama sometimes OOC them! And if I'm not OOC-ing them, I'd cringe reading the answers to asks despite being in character (pls why are you so wattpad-y). It's a struggle but I don't mind reading it, I've read countless mischaracterized Yulian in my asks haha. (So sorry, he's not an exemplary father, the last in the ranking board if he even made it to the leaderboard…)

My plan currently is to write more content according to what webtoons I'm going to publish.

so first things first i gotta talk about my gumakeria music. my main artists are between friends (duh), the neighbourhood (wiped out!), niki (moonchild), taylor swift, del water gap. i can find them everywhere. something in the water, we could be so electric, ditto, self-destruct, the beach, cruel summer, WEST COAST, so it goes, ode to a conversation stuck in my throat, SHUT UP MY MOMS CALLING, die for you, alma, eyes on my baby, collide. i will not stfu. i could easily give you a lyric analysis of any song (actually i lied i cant with some songs bc its just the vibe yk?) but ill spare you.

OK so the thing about gumakeria is like. theyre an obvious pairing. yes, everyone ships botlanes together. its a pandemic. the govt assigned ships are taking over. but. BUT. they are so much more than a govt assigned ship okay??? THEY MAKE SENSE. they are so devoted and so soulmates and just so !!!!!! i fell so hard for them and then couldnt get back up. the way gumayusi is so outwradly/openly affectionate while keria is more silently supportive. their parallels in game with their personalities is so insane and interesting actually. because yeah, the adc is the center of attention. guma shines and keria, well, supports. same with their personalities, guma is open and keria is quieter. guma praises and waxes poetic about keria all the time while keria is... quieter. but despite the traditional lane roles, whats also interesting is the rise of keria being the star of the t1 botlane (what with his picks and insane talent) rather than guma. contrast this with the rise of more keria-pov gumakeria fanfic...??? (bear with me i have a point, i swear.)

so, yeah. there are less canon-compliant fics in gumas pov. more in keria pov. why is that? im just speculating, of course, bc like. myself included... i mostly write keria pov! the thing is, because keria is "quieter" and less overt i think people are drawn to him so they can figure out whats underneath the surface and write that. its easier to find, in a way, because hes quieter and mysterious, /ofc/ hes going to be more emotive in that way. and like, yeah, guma is overt and bright. so much so that, oftentimes, its harder to look underneath the surface. he's the sun, yeah? bright and brilliant and glaring. it hurts to look at the sun. keria is covert, and "softer" and easier to look at in that way. you can spot his ulterior motives faster. hes greedy, hes desperate, hes cruel (im using all these adjectives artistically, bear with me). with guma, hes already so OPEN you're tricked into thinking he doesnt have any ulterior motives. everything is already out in the air, right? NO. HE HAS ULTERIOR MOTIVES TOO BUT NO ONE EVER NOTICESSS. HE WILL STRAIGHT OUT FUCKIGN SAY THEM AND NO ONE BATS AN EYE OR THINKS TO LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER BECAUSE HES SO UPFRONT ABOUT IT. he wants this he wants that—noone truly knows or cares to find out how MUCH he wants it. hes also greedy and hungry and never satisfied. hes also emotive and desperate and--guma has so many layers that he hides. theyre the same like that, you get what i mean? and keria is the one person that sees guma for who he really is, and vice versa. theyre each others sanctuary; their escapes. gumakeria are the same but in different fonts. theyre equally devoted, and show it in their own ways. it truly is a push and pull. (i really need to write more guma-pov non-au gumakerias)

one thing that lowk pisses me off is the assumption of gumakerias dynamic being a sun and moon dynamic. theyre not. like, if you want to get superficial about it, they are, sure, aesthetically and when it comes to the "common pairing." but if you look deeper and try to find more meaning like i inevitably will bc im like that, you'll see theyre not the sun and the moon. theyre the sun and the stars (in the case of celestial bodies, and in the case of bodies of nature, theyre the sun and the sea). im not just saying sun and stars to be dIFfEREnt here. keria has always been a starboy to me, not a moonboy (oner is quite literally a moonboy lmao). so it sort of frustrates me. heres a line from one of my wips using sun/star motifs for guke: “The sun is a star, and I am yours.” (spoken by guma). THE SUN IS A STAR. and THAT IS THE FUCKING POINT. THAT IS EXACTLY THE POINT. the thing about the sun and the moon is that the moon reflects off the sun's light. the stars? the stars are the sun. the stars burn by themselves. THE SUN IS A MOTHERFUCKING STAR. gumakeria are both luminous and incandescent and theyre burning. they are both burning with want. guma is more overt, sure. keria is subtler. what he lacks for in mass, he makes up with quantity. they are the same, and that is the point. in my last retrospring submit, i called them two forces of nature, and that is exactly what they are. they collide and it's like two binary stars coalescing into one. its got the impact of a supernova, and its hot and bright, and... thats them, you know? that's gumakeria.

and you can translate their dynamic into so many things. so many aus, so many versions of them, so many... them. one sided, or reciprocated. them fighting for each other. someone struggling, one being so desperate. one being stable. one being fleeting. at the end, its just them. theyre so strong both romantically and platonically because of how much they get each other. like, do we even need to specify? its all and its both and its everything. they are everything.

part of what draws me to gumakeria is... well, that. theyre twin souls. they are so in tune with each other. they get each other. they are virtually the same, and see each other as that. its two people that want and are hungry and who will never get enough. keria is never satisfied: have we ever stopped to think if guma is? the thing is, the thing the two are satisfied with is one another. it will be them, forever. they are just bound. they are just together. i think they see each other like no other. and its their personalities and their ways of showing love and their selfishness and their wanting and their dynamic that just kills me. they have that surface layer of fluff and cuteness and govt assigned ship, just like guma has his surface, and how their dynamic has the surface of sun and moon. but underneath they are so perfect and introspective and moody and ITS FUCKING RIDICULOUS, HOW MUCH THEY LIVE IN MY BRAIN. how can someone be so in tune to someone else's emotions?? how can that happen? how are they so similar yet so different? theyre each others' grounding force. guma's the stability, sure, but hes nothing without the stability of keria and vice versa. they play that role for each other. they play all the roles for each other. they are vulnerable and emotive and there for each other. and, thinking back in rookie years, they grew with each other. theyre so strong and they have almost... unwritten history. theres just so much about them that i will constantly be in awe of. or, well. theres so much my mind builds. i have a whole palace of gumakeria floating in my head, and im finding so many nooks and crannies every time i look.
