People are saying that JJ’s death and Rafe breaking up with Sofia could lead to Riara finally manifesting on screen.

Reasons why this wouldn’t happen:

1. I genuinely believed that Rafe loved and still loves Sofia and doubt their story is over. I hope it’s not; I really ship them!! They are a beautiful couple and not even Kiara could bring that soft side out of him.

2. JJ died. Kiara would NOT move on so fast and especially not with Rafe (someone JJ hated severely).

3. Kie has been genuinely SCARED of Rafe. A lot of people think those scenes are sexual tension but you can see the fear in her eyes to the point where she grabs a knife.

4. Kie knows her friends HATE Rafe but [see point 6 in the next section]

5. Kiara will be too focused on revenge.

however

Reasons why this COULD happen:

1. Kiara may go into self destruct mode and feel like she needs to fill that gaping hole JJ left.

2. Not canon (yet?) but with all the evidence, in that Rafe is constantly ONLY forgiving Kiara and is ONLY nice to her, they may have had a past on her Kook Year. Just a theory!

3. Rafe is angry by nature, and Kiara is going to be angry after JJ’s death. He may let her lean into that side of herself because he does that all the time, she might even feel comfortable to be angry around him. however I am sure the other pogues are angry, but Kie seems to be on a bloodhunt. She may go dark and he will probably be the only one to understand.

4. Rafe was the FIRST to agree to go to Lisbon and get Chandler Groff. Everyone else questioned it, but he said what she was thinking before she even had the chance to say it.

5. Also we know that Jiara partly came to fruition because of the fans shipping them, so maybe the show runners have seen the Riara theories and decided to “give the fans what they want”??? Although I wouldn’t say every fan wants this for the reasons I listed above.

6. Rafe is definitely getting a redemption arc (I am so happy but also scared because it means he might die. Like why do shows redeem a character and finally have us route for them just to kill them? Although I don’t think he will die for some reason.)

7. Both of their relationships ended, leaving a path for them to idk find each other?? Sarah and John B have each other as well as Cleo and Pope on their way to Lisbon. I know most of them are friends but Kiara may seek to end her loneliness?

8. I really hope it doesn’t happen soon but most characters whose lover dies (Ie Rick with Laurie and Michonne in The Walking Dead) have to move on eventually. We can’t expect them to stay single forever so PERHAPS if there was a time jump (even at the s5 end perhaps), along with Rafe’s redemption arc, they could be together. I doubt they would put Kiara with some random guy. If she were to find love again it would be with someone we know from the show.

However I doubt this will happen again because the show might end pogue style with friendship and family at the forefront rather than romance. As I wrote the sentence before THOUGH: another thought popped up. Rafe will be the uncle to Sarah’s baby and Kiara will be the ‘aunt’ so maybe if the ending is all about family, maybe they will come together?? Rafe’s redemption would have to be REALLY good though.

9. Kie literally saved Rafe on that boat???

10. The show creators said ON VIDEO that they never thought about Riara until the fans brought up their chemistry and that they found it “so wrong it is almost right”???? Helloooo??

I hope none of these^ are true though because I love Rofia.

then again Sofia might have just been used as a way to move the plot forward to get Rafe in the position where he needs to go with the Pogues.

fr 😭 honestly very much in love with the audio and art choice for the hualian drama tho bc it has both that romantic devotion of hua cheng + xie lian coming to terms with the fact he wanted this, as well as that eerie feeling that smth isnt quite right mainly with hua cheng and his condition + the dark stylistic choice of the art... huhu love it so much .... also qi rong was so 😭😭 he was such a menace i was crying

NO BC??? he xuan having to watch all of that happen to him and his family, watch someone else take the life meant for him, as his whole world comes crashing down from the unjustified deaths of his family and then himself, and then having to watch that person who ended up living his life be so carefree and innocent not knowing what it cost to live as such??? man. i genuinely cannot even begin to fathom how much pain and anguish and grief is in him. and then growing to care for that person, or at least the unyielding kindness in which they showed, must have been another blow to his grief and everything he stood for ;w;

and gosh my baby shi qingxuan basically being the collateral in this scenario and still being willing to accept death as punishment despite not being the one at fault, but if it meant atoning for the sins /him/ and his brother committed to hx and his family then he would go through with it.... and him rather choosing the option to sacrifice himself and switch his fate for one of the other souls as opposed to beheading shi wudu, arguing that its better to live a worse life then die a good life while swd is trying to get him to commit the alternative option bc a life without his brother is a life worse than death itself and he would rather die than see sqx become what would have been, only to switch up after and try to take them both down together bc he was convinced sqx wouldnt be able to live 😭

AND THEN when hx literally um. yknow. to swd arm to separate him from sqx while. um. yknow. despite wanting them both to suffer in some way, but ended up showing that, in his own way, he didnt want sqx to be in pain. sqx screaming crying and basically throwing up definitely moved him even tho he said he wouldnt be moved, and it showed esp during that scene 😭 i think swd picked up on that too bc he started laughing and taunting hx ("what are you laughing at?"//"i laugh at you, thinking you have the upper hand!") into killing him so that sqx wouldnt have to, betting on the fact he could create a third option by using the care hx undeniably has for sqx... he may have been a shitty person, but swd was a great brother ;w;;

also the fact that hx was literally in a lose-lose situation bc he gave them two options and told them they could only pick from those, only to lose composure when swd tried to take both him and sqx down, then got taunted by swd laughing at his misfortune and getting the last laugh while sqx is desperately begging him to stop talking and provoking hx, ultimately leading into hx killing swd himself, and then having to see sqx lose his will to live.... ourgh.... and dont even get me started on the fact he couldnt even move on as a ghost despite fulfilling his meaning for existence (the revenge), and how sqx is basically whats kept him tethered down but he can only watch from the sidelines as sqx lives his life... they shouldve just talked gdi.......

okay I have no idea what I said in the last ask lmao so some shit may get repeated but whatever

So like, everyone has trauma. This is because I am a cruel author who likes to use her characters as whump punching bags.

I won't say which character exactly, but I have one character where the whole thing with their power is that it's slowly driving them insane. Not as the main function of the power, of course, but as a nasty side effect. We actually get an entire arc where they snap after some particularly nasty side effects and go off to perform vigilante justice. It's a wild ride.

We also have another character who is completely doomed by the narrative. (deleted a sentence here because I was too obvious...) Anyways, their whole thing is that they're always chasing after revenge, which at first appears to the reader as a relatable good guy thing (don't worry I'll make it work better in the story), but it slowly becomes obvious that this character is absolutely going off the deep end in their quest for revenge. Honestly, this character is just super sad and I feel guilty whenever I draw them.

Next, I suddenly remember midway through the ask that I have included human experimentation in this story! Wild :)

Ahaha. Yes. Yes I did watch it. Then I cried for a literal hour and attempted to compose myself, only to start crying again when I lay down and kept on thinking about it. Then I had more feelings. Then I slept like the dead due to emotional trauma. Then I reblogged gifsets and had More feelings. Then @buffaluff and @flynnanimal watched it and also required emotional support due to drowning in their own tears. So, uh... we're all fine here now. How are you?

My main takeaway from the final season was the sheer amount of love for the characters, story, and fans that you could feel shining through all the episodes, and which made SUCH a refreshing change. I had feelings in my tags the other day about how a show about the devil was constantly goofy, hopeful, loving, and uplifting, rather than all the grimdark nonsense they could have easily done with it. (As I said, just imagine it as written by the GOT idiots?? NO THANK YOU.) The writing really loved everyone and wanted to give them a proper ending and emotional journey, and it wanted to show the fans that they weren't stupid for having invested six seasons of effort and emotion into this, and just... that is so much rarer than it should be? Compare all the movies and TV shows that treat their fans like the enemy, that want to outsmart them at all costs even if it means changing major plot elements, that ferociously guard spoilers and think that "shock value" means good writing, by throwing hackneyed cliche upon cliche and making everything Depressing, and just... Lucifer had its hiccups and slow points and missteps, of course, but I am SO glad they didn't do that. The entire show consisted of Lucifer slowly but steadily progressing toward being a better man, despite mistakes and setbacks and sometimes a little too much will-they-won't-they. (Season 3 was the only one where I got bored and skipped over the filler episodes with Pierce/Lucifer/Chloe in order to get to the end).

That is an essentially simple premise, but they stuck to it, and they didn't try to create more drama by randomly wrecking what they had already established. I wrote a fic all the way back in mid-season 2 (In Nomine Patris) that ended up predicting quite a few of the future characters who had not yet appeared on the show at that time, including Eve, Michael, and Azrael, and several plot points, including the very major one of Lucifer returning to hell for the sake of his daughter with Chloe. And while this might mean that I am just that good at guessing TV shows (I would like to think this....) it also means that the writers set expectations, followed through on those expectations, and didn't suddenly derail everything or turn it totally on its head just for the sake of cheap shocks. As we can all attest, they certainly caused PLENTY of drama, anguish, pain, and suffering, but they did it in a way that remained faithful to the overall premises of the story and the characters, and wanted to see them become the best versions of themselves. I cried my eyes out at the end and then thought, "hey, I might want to watch the whole series again," which, if you ask me, is the mark of doing your job right. There have been so few TV endings recently where I didn't immediately swear off the whole thing or have to pretend that canon didn't exist, so yeah.

As I said, it was just refreshing to watch something that had that essential deep generosity at its core, where the message is that everyone is worthy of love if they make the hard and painful effort to change and become better, and that even if earthly things feel small next to all this messy celestial drama, they still matter, and that you are loved no matter what. I loved that Amenadiel became God and Lucifer returned to hell as a choice in order to help all the trapped souls be able to work through their guilt and go to heaven. There were obviously certain echoes of The Good Place in that ending; I don't know if it was something they had planned all along or if the success of TGP, another series asking deep questions about life, death, morality, and human nature within the framework of a goofy heaven-and-hell sitcom, influenced it, but either way, it worked so well. Even if it tore my heart out and stomped on it on the ground, it was fitting and oh so lovely to see Lucifer, once the most selfish being in the entire universe, following in Linda's footsteps and becoming selflessly dedicated to helping other people. Just. Chef's kiss.

And of course, Deckerstar. The Hades and Persephone vibes were IMMACULATE this season, and while it did take Lucifer and Chloe the best part of four seasons to get together, they never significantly backslid, never had third-party issues or cheap cheating storylines once they were officially a couple, and Tom Ellis and Lauren German REALLY killed it this season in particular. It was never easy for them and sometimes the drama went on a little too long over the course of said six seasons, but the love story was beautiful and incredibly meaningful and always true to the fact that the actors and characters and writers (not to mention the fans) all loved it so much. They were so much the emotional heart of this, and when they went to hell together in episode 6x03 (where they turned into cartoons because wHAT even IS this show), Joe Henderson said in an interview that this was to give the fans a view into Lucifer and Chloe's future (after) lives post-6x10, and to offer them a basis to write fanfiction. I mean... the showrunner saying to the fans "here, we love you, have something to write fic about!" is likewise pretty shockingly rare. It's again an example of how this show always audaciously poked fun at itself, never took itself TOO seriously, and was always welcoming its fans and the people who loved it to do so, rather than making them feel stupid or taking joy in wrecking beloved characters or plots.

Obviously, I loved Rory, the badass lesbian half-angel goth Deckerstar child straight out of My Immortal (seriously, she was SO edgy, it was amazing), because of the fact that Lucifer's entire arc was always about feeling abandoned by his father and that he was going to have to face it for himself. Dorky Devil Dad Lucifer trying his absolute HARDEST to bond with his daughter was simultaneously hilarious, adorable, and heart-wrenching, and yet again, the Growth. We all remember when he could barely tolerate Trixie touching him, and now we're here. Also, any variation whatsoever of "this is just a brief moment of time that we must be apart, love is eternal and stronger than death and we will never really leave each other" as a line is guaranteed to make me bawl my eyes out. So that was fun.

I got a big kick out of Ghost Dan running around and trying to get everyone to see him, and had feelings about seeing him in heaven with Charlotte and his beloved Pudding Pops at the end. I had feelings about how they handled Ella finding out the truth (or rather demanding to know why nobody had told her) and of course, I obviously loved Maze and Eve and their goth/femme wedding and the fact that they got a good three-season romantic arc (indeed, I wanted more of them). My god, Trixie is SO BIG, she used to be a tiny little nugget. I love that Linda was the moral and emotional rock all along, from the first episode to the very last, and that Amenadiel was Deeply Vindicated when Charlie's wings appeared at his first birthday party. I love how Lucifer in s6 is absolute thousands of light years from Lucifer in s1. And as ever, Chloe was Perfect. I am happy that I spent six seasons with these characters and saw them become better, and that I was never made to feel like an idiot for trusting the writers to end everything in a beautiful and emotional way. Because, well. They did. Sure, maybe I could go back and pick at a plotline here or a detail there, but I don't terribly feel the need to do so? It might not have been perfect, but it was perfect, and I am so grateful that it existed.

backstory on y/n's part

after gojo defeated toji, the death of riko effected geto so much, he tried finding many ways to distract himself

after the day of yuki giving her opinions to geto, he felt like he couldn't sleep a wink with how the gal's speech is gluing itself messily to his mind but he tried to pay no heed to it

with a mission of exorcising a few curses, he didn't let words linger into his head and focused on his task

but he stopped in his tracks when he saw a child squatting near a bed of flowers sobbing heavily on their lap

geto crouched down, asking what was wrong with the mess of the child with the pain in their eyes as they struggle to explain what the situation was

"my f-friends are t-trapped, please follow-" he didn't waste his time and immediately scurry with the child whose fast on their feet

there it was, two girls bruised and dirtied while sobbing in each others' shoulders behind bars which made geto's heart dropped

"hey! you can't just-" the elderly had no chance to speak when geto snapped at them, telling what kind of actions and motives would lead to locking up two poor girls

whatever excuse was denied as geto scared them off with his own curses and tried freeing the children who shook when the lock of the prison collapsed on the ground

he tried to comfort them, letting a little curse zap from his finger to try to entertain them a little and nanako seemed to tap on mimiko's shoulder to also try to comfort her sister as they crawl over to him

soon, geto finds out that your name is y/n and that your parents were really nowhere to be seen, that's why you were left with the twins except you couldn't do anything when they were locked up

geto kind of chuckled to himself walking home with all of you, kinda like being a dad with 3 kids

immediately shoko tended to everyones' wounds and geto watched while the children stared back at him, he waved back telling that it'll be okay

"sugu-" gojo froze when he sees 3 kids being treated and he also had two kids tagging along and geto nodded, willing to explain so he stepped out the room with gojo for a second

you tugged on his shirt, looking up at him, scared to be left alone but he reassures that he's just gone for a second to talk with the creep with the white hair (gojo: i can hear you-)

shoko didn't say much, just tried to rub your head and smiled when you nodded at her as a thank you

a little interruption wouldn't hurt since idk how to countinue this but soon geto tried teaching you how to defend yourself with your cursed technique both gojo and him found out

(you can skip this bit but y/n has a technique to make dead live again and non-living things live, this was especially adorable when geto found out the small paper cranes that flew over his head were controlled by you while you try to make more origamis when you saw that big smile on his face)

also where he teaches nanako and mimiko how to use their cursed technique, gojo would mess around with you while you try to fight him but question marks appear around your head when you couldn't touch him

on with the birthday~~

"suguru, i just found out that these children that we adopted has no birthdays!! minus megumi and tsumiki, they're whatever-" geto also gasp in realization and their brains begun to work

"how about today??" "- great idea!!"

well uh having to tell principal yaga wasn't that hard which they were kinda grateful that he wasn't stoic and grumpy at them this time

a birthday gift from yaga made both of the two idiots pause and it was one of his dolls, being a puppet for sometime to entertain the kids during the party

they both started setting up banners and gojo ushered megumi and tsumiki to put birthday hats on and wait to suprise them

with megumi unamused and tsumiki humming to suprise everyone, the cake set on the table nearly fell when you walked in

okay so somebody asked me to rank the green lanterns a couple days ago and i just did it based on the general Vibes i got off each one because i don't know enough about the lanterns and now i want to hear from an expert SO: RANK EACH OF THE GREEN LANTERNS (the human ones but if you want to include others go crazy) FROM NOT-SO-BEST TO BEST AND EXPLAIN WHY

OKAY SO, first off, i love you. you should know that. second off, there’s good and bad sides to all four human green lanterns and really this is just personal preference, and 3/4 of these are subject to change at some point, but this is where we stand as of right now:

4. Guy Gardner

first off, he was Hal’s case worker in Emerald Dawn II (1991), because Hal got in trouble for drunk driving and got sentenced to a maximum security prison for 90 days to be used as an example. And I just, I don’t like this plot in Hal’s life, it doesn’t make a ton of sense with his character or his profession (it would literally end a pilot’s career.) anyway, enough about Hal Jordan because I’m supposed to be talking about Guy here. Guy’s trying to help Hal out which, gets him points in my book, but he also ends up like hating Hal at the end of this arc and it’s just like, I’m sorry, that’s unoriginal, pls try harder. 

I also don’t understand this whole Vuldarian DNA plot that’s a thing with him, but his time owning a bar is cool. I just, I haven’t read a ton of his comics and i haven’t gotten attached to him yet, so that’s that. He’s in 4th, sorry Guy. Better luck next time. 

3. Kyle Rayner

Kyle gets third place for two reasons: he has some pretty great interactions with Hal, with some key points of believing in Hal when he needs it the most (and that panel with the stacked rings and Hal taking Kyle flying. That panel gives me life for reasons I can’t fully put into words.), and his girlfriend was literally murdered and stuffed into a fridge. I have to respect the trauma. 

Reasons I don’t like Kyle: you know how in middle school there was always that kid who would show off in gym class? or like your favorite teacher would pick some new kid to champion and you just kinda... hated them on instinct? Kyle’s an artist, but he has that vibe. He’s the kid in school that suddenly everyone has decided is the Best and it’s annoying. I get it, he’s meant to be like the “best green lantern,” the one to restore the corps when Hal and Parallax tore through it and then he’s a white lantern. I just... idk, he’s nice, he’s cute. I want to read more about when he was teamed up with Jason and some people have made it so that Hal has become his bother father figure which is also adorable, it’s just instinct to not make him my favorite. I’ve already done the whole phase of liking the ‘Chosen One,’ I don’t need to go back to my Harry Potter phase. idk, please universe don’t hate me for this.

2. John Stewart

okay, I have mad respect for John Stewart. It’s also instinctual. He’s the brains of the human Green Lantern operation. No, like, literally. If the four of them have one collective brain cell, John has it at least 89% of the time. He’s an architect and a former Marine, he punched Hal in the face in a bar before they were both Green Lanterns, which is hilarious because as far as I’m aware, it’s never touched on as being something either of them remembers. Kudos for not holding onto that rage, John. Hal has something to learn from you. 

There’s also an interesting change in his way of thinking from when he was a Marine to his duty as a Green Lantern, and I like that growth even if it’s not always acknowledged. There is a bit during the Color Spectrum War arc where they go over his guilt at the destruction of a world, and it felt remarkably deep for a DC comic, even if it was technically part of a Hal series. He’s just one of those guys that you can’t help but respect because he seems to have all of his shit in one basket, and it’s a good counterbalance.

1. Hal Jordan

you knew this was coming. if you didn’t, then you need to go look back at what my username is and think for a while. I love Hal Jordan almost more than life itself and it might be because of how well i can relate to this man. he is the most cocky, depressed, stubborn piece of shit in the galaxy, and I LOVE HIM. okay, like, there are so many different arcs about Hal and I know people have a tendency to not like him because like he’s the modern OG and he can be a piece of shit, and like, he was the bad guy but he came back from it and I just want to say: my dudes, that’s the POINT.

Hal has flat out stated that HE doesn’t even like himself, and you think that you as a reader are supposed to like him all the time? The man's life is rife with trauma, okay. Not everything he does is going to make perfect sense if you’re not paying attention and it’s just like. Honestly I can’t explain it all. Hal runs on spite and coffee and the list of people he lives FOR is very short, but the list of people he lives IN SPITE OF is very long. 

The dude runs with his gut constantly because that’s what keeps him alive. Even Sinestro has pointed out that HAL DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. He acts on instinct, he doesn’t plan out a shitload of battle strategies, and that’s how Hal manages to keep besting these people over and over. 

Also just, he’s sad boy. He wants to protect people, even if it means staying away from them. He’s willing to take the blame and appear to go rogue MULTIPLE TIMES for things he believes in and to find the root of the problem and it’s just like... you really think a guy that was happy-go-lucky and didn’t sit awake at night because of how prominent his failings are in his mind would be willing to do that? you’re wrong. sorry. you don’t designate yourself as public enemy number one AFTER ALREADY FIGHTING TO COME BACK FROM THAT ONCE if you don’t have a part of your brain saying you deserve it.

ALSO HIS GRIEF FOR COAST CITY WAS JUSTIFIED AND THERES A LONG LIST OF PEOPLE THAT COULD HAVE HELPED PREVENT HAL FROM BECOMING/SUCCUMBING TO PARALLAX AND A LOT OF THEM ARE ON THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OR TINY ANCIENT BLUE SMURFS.

Not anything cheesy like “a true love’s kiss” or “you learned your lesson”. Pure logic and Sarah’s hard work to get there. Huge fan of this.

FIRST OF ALL, I am aware this is just a roleplay, and that it is scripted,  I will be complaining about where the story SEEMS to be going, please don’t actually send hate to the people on this smp, don’t be dumb. THIS IS A RANT ABOUT THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS NOT THE REAL PEOPLE.

The Tommy apologist route

First of all, Tommy isn’t in the right. We had reached an agreement, he only had to not do something wrong for 3 weeks, and Dream would have teared down the walls! Something that we thought he wasn’t gonna do! It was all going really well and Tommy fucked up. Dream never even mencioned Spirit after giving it to Tommy as far as I’m aware, he only cares about the discs and I understand that Tommy didn’t know that, it’s fine. But Skeppy wasn’t gonna give Tommy the discs, c’mon that’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard, a better way to do this is following the agreement, and try and talk to skeppy so Dream wouldn’t expect it. He had courage! It was cool! But he didn’t think of the consequences! BTW FUNDY AND QUACKITY WENT WITH IT TOO AND ARE BEING HYPOCRITES!

Even though he was in the wrong for doing this, it was really interesting! Tommy would probably be called out, and maybe he would listen and character growth would’ve happened, or we would be having a villain arc. Oh but that’s not what happened.

When Tubbo was calling him out, Ranboo appeared and said Tommy wasn’t being selfish because he also stole from george??? What???? Tommy took the full blame, that was selfless of him! But that’s not what this is about, everything was going great until Tommy did a brave, but dumb thing, and he needs to accept it. But Tommy keeps saying that Tubbo doing a probation on him was the worst thing he’s done??? And then started comparing him to SCHLATT???? the fuck??? It wold be for 3 weeks! Only 3 weeks! And if he ended up fucking it up, I would be less angry honestly, it makes sense for his character, I would be happy he tried at least! Character growth!  But again, that didn’t happen and it was fine at first, him fucking it up isn’t the main problem.

The problem is everyone ended up going against Tubbo in the end and saying Tommy was right? What? Tubbo even apologised to Tommy in the end for “trying to exile him”??? He didn’t do that? Honestly everyone just blaming tubbo seemed a bit abusive to me? (again not in real life I’m talking about the characters in the story pls don’t take this out of context :”> ). They were just ignoring him and putting the blame on Dream, wich is fair but he was going with the agreement, as far as we’re aware he was gonna follow it. And Fundy also said that Tubbo was fuckign it up as a president? It was a joke of course but I really didn’t find it funny.

I know I’m being a mess, what I’m trying to say is that, even if Tommy didn’t accept he was in the wrong, Tubbo and everyone else would keep calling him out! He would be angry but try and think of it and it would be interesting! But the route this story is going is just a Tommy apologist route and I think it’s so dumb.

I don’t think exiling Tommy would be the right answer right now, I say we just go to war, though it would be interesting seeing him exiled. (I actually liked Tubbo’s first plan, pretend to exile Tommy and get ready for a war later, because they aren’t ready for one right now, so this would make up for time and getting prepared, but of course, nobody listened to him). I’m just going to move on and get ready for friday, or saturday idk- But I needed to share how I feel. The story didn’t end yet so It’s just an assumption of what’s going on, we never know what plot twists they’re gonna trow at us lol.

TL;DR Everyone just forgiving Tommy, and blaming Tubbo or others is really not a good direction for the story. It’s just strangely abusive, him being called for it would’ve been better.

Again, this was about the story- I know Tommy is not an asshole and they aren’t abusive, it’s not what I’m saying here please.

How does one describe the pain of this little baby? ok Embrace yourself peeps, we bout to dig into some facts.

This boy had all the things at brith that he had to struggle for later in his life. Kunti, a young princess somehow pleased The J E R K Durvasa (a sage very hard to please) and was blessed with a mantra through which she could call upon any god that will bless her with a son. It was Kunti’s biggest mistake when she summoned the sun god just for experimenting. She ruined two lives that day, hers, still unmarried and young and this child’s who was given the name Karna by suryadev himself. In order to compromise for what had been done Suryadev gave kunti 2 boons:

1. She will remain pure even after the act.(yes they did the nasty, how else are babies born?)

2. Karna’s body will forever be protected by a golden armor and Ear-rings. No ashtra could penetrate in. 

However, just as the god left, Kunti was hit with realization and she couldn’t help but *signs* cry. She cried when she saw his face, she cried when she saw how bright he was, she cried as she decorated lotus and leafs in a bamboo basket, she cried as she placed the sleeping baby who was crying only minutes ago in the basket, she cried as she surrendered the basket to the waves of Ganga and finally she cried while making her way back to the palace as she realized the sin she had committed. 

*takes a deep breadth*

This unfaithful infant was found by a man who never asked for anything more than this baby itself. Now here is a misconception #1, Bhagirath HAD more children (preciously sons). However, he and Radha never failed to love him any less than any of there own children. oh and Bhagirath was a Suta*facepalm*. This boy was raised as the son of Bheeshma Pitama’s Charioteer. 

Oh and another misconception, #2 Karna WAS thought by drona, he wasn’t rejected from the class and no no no, that’s not true. The truth is he wanted to learn higher weaponry, meant for only princes and royalties. Everyone was supposed to have the basic education in weapons or chariot driving(mostly for sutas) but our homeboi knew he was capable of more and thus approached Drona. Look Drona loved two things: 1) Ashwattama, 2) His pride in his teaching (basically Arjuna). And then the Eklavya thing happened and Karna understood, Drona is a bias hoe no that’s not what happened. Misconception #3 Drona didn’t deny education to Eklavya because he was a threat to Arjuna’s Mahan-ness, but because he was an ally of Magadha, the arc enemy of Hastinapur. And Karna? beacuse Karna was jealous of Arjuna and friends with Duryobhana the terrible, he could have used it for bad things, which is somewhat true?  On being denied further education and ridiculed for the same, Karna left the aharam. 

You see, nothing mattered for Karna more than self-respect and recognition and that is exactly what he didn’t get. That’s what made my baby salty. 

But he was determined so he approached Pershuram(you see pershuram is drona’s teacher therefore better than him), however he knew that truth wont help him so he lied. He introduced himself as a bhramana.*facepalm*

Pershuram taught him archery and the use of celestial weapons(especially the Bhrama ones). Before anyone could understand what was happening, Karna was already a fucking great warrior. 

 Krana received 2 curses in his complete life and these curses are also how his life ended. 

1. So this happened when Karna had already obtained his celestrial weapons was almost done with his gurukul days. He was Pershurama’s favorite student due to his determination and skills (and also because pershuram admired the fact that a bhraman child was so good at these shiz). They were strolling and being the boomer pershuram was (fun fact: he is immortal and is said to provide the same education to the 10th and last avatar of vishnu, kalki) tired and thus decided he wanted to nap. Krana let him rest his head on his lap while he slept. Now some say it was a worm, some say it was a bee and some it was a scorpion, but whatever it was, bit Karna and made him bleed to which karna did nothing. Why? because he didn’t want to disturb Pershuram’s sleep. Pershuram woke up with blood on his face and knew immediately, “you can’t be a bhramana, no bhramana can bear such pain and show such persistence, reveal your true identity” to which Karna confessed. And Parshuram was enraged and he cursed Karna and he felt betrayed. The curse: For you have tricked me into giving you celestial knowledge, you will forget it all when you will need it most.*deep signs*

2. So Karna was practicing his vijaya when he hit a cow, this cow was holy and a guilt ridden Karna thought it is DhArMA to tell the owner the truth, he confessed. The owner, furiously, cursed him. Karna pleaded that he reduce the ill effects of the curse, he even offered him gold and other form of money but the owner (i’m not sure, maybe he was a sage) did’t bulge. Karna, defeated, left with the terrible curse. The curse: Just as the cow died defenseless, so will be yours. You will have no one by your side you needed them the most. You will die unarmed. 

Next major event in Krana’s life was when he decided he is ready to face Arjuna, ThE bEsT ARcheR iN tHe UnIvERse. So rangbhoomi happened and Karna gate crashed to prove he is THE BEST by dueling with Arjuna and defeating him *facepalm*. Karna then gets permission from elders and he shows his skill. Everything was fine till then. But the past rivalry heats up the situation as anticipated by Duryodhana and both Karna and Arjuna gear up for a duel. But Kripa intervenes and asks for introduction from Karna in order to somehow stop the bloodshed. Kripa however knew everything about Karna but he said as per rules it was necessary. Using this event as pretext Duryodhana then crowns Karna as king of Anga. *sign* 

Karna went there with hopes of some respect instead got slapped with a crown that was now his property and intoxication of his friendship ( was it ever non-toxic?)  

Time passed and his rivalry with Arjuna grew.

Then Draupadi Swayamwar happened. Misconception #4, Krishna was not present with her. #5 Draupadi did not know Arjuna before he reached his hut and revealed his identity #6 She did not reject karna, He could not string the bow( this is what happened according to BROI and KMG versions which I consider as accurate) Karna did find her pretty but things changed after she became the Pandava’s companion and basically their backbone.

Karna had wives and sons(9, some texts say so) tho non of them are mentioned properly in any of the versions. It is said that one of his son, who was only 9 at the time, was killed by Arjuna during Draupadi Swayamwara because he joined the protesters and thing took turn for the worst. 

Krana’s appearance is defined as a hot-tall daddy in the epic (basically Aham Sharma or Gautam Rode). His Armour had a blinding shine. This boy can crush you with his sad eyes.

Then there was dhyut sabha. *takes a DEEP breath* *stares at the screen for 5 sec* bruh wtf? ok HUGE red flags. This man’s senses left him at this moment. Rage, revenge and hatred fucking blinded him. I don’t how to- *mentally glaring at Karna* Ways he fucked up during Dhyut Sabha(more like why Yudhishtir should be cancelled)

1. Calling Draupadi a bitch

2. A slut

3. A Characterless Women

4. A Whore

5. 5 men have already laid hands on her, what’s the point of hiding anymore 

6. Take em’ clothes off.

7. Proceeds to laugh.

*BIG sign* 

Moving on (something Draupadi didn’t let the Pandavas do), the war approached. To right a few aDhaRM done by him, he settled on this. He wont touch a women or indulge in such a thing and donate and do charity and just become the hugest Philanthropist of the age till the war ends. 

As the war grew nearer Karna tried to do better things but guess what, you already fucked up enough tho karma was heading for him now.  

I will make the hard part fast. Krishna and Kunti told Karna about his true identity and tried to get him on the RIGHT side, but no. Karna, although broken, still decided fight from the kaurava’s side. He gave kunti a boon that he will spare the life of 4 of her children. This been done Karna’s morals were already trembling, But his rage? Intensified 

If that wasn’t enough, Indra showed up, disguised as a sage and asked for the Karna’s greatest possessions, his armour and ears *violently exhales through nose* however, seeing Karna’s skills and courage he gave him a boon. A celestial weapon that will kill the person that it is ordered to. Karna now knew how to kill Arjuna. Well at least he thought. 

Again, humiliated, Karna was not allowed to enter the kurukshetra till Bhishma was still a part of the war. 

Till bhishma, the war was just a hell lot bunch of hot guys fighting each other, after bhishma however, the war was hot lot (a little less now) bunch of guys fighting each other grossly.

All the rules were warped in a fucking dhoti and yeeted to the moon. Everyone lost humanity. what brother? what son? what uncle? bullshit

Karna fought with all might and courage and he was un-fucking-beatable. Like Abhimayu, he too was attacked by a lot of warriors at once but unlike abhimanyu, he survived those. His only hope to kill Arjuna was snatched away from him when he had to kill Ghatotkacha to stop his destruction. *signs* Why can’t this boy have one good thing happen to him, just one . oof

Ok so Shalya became Karna’s Charioteer and made sure he crushed his morals. give my boy a break, please.

ok but, Red flag ahead, Karna had to use the celestial weapon on Arjuna and for that he had to be present in front of him as he asked the soldiers to tell him the location of Arjuna and to do so he went to an extend where he offered elephants, horses, coins, gold, jewels to the soldier that will bring Arjuna to him, it was still fine till now but then he did this: he bribed his sons, wives, and young virgin servants the soldier that would help him. *violently takes a deep breadth* wtf Karna? But here is the thing, a wife, in those times, was the greatest possession of a man (yes, possession ). Karna staked his greatest possession just so arjuna would be in front of him. That’s how bad his hate was, his rage and vengeance, his blindness. *proceeds to cry in a pillow* *gets up because I have an ask to answer*

On the day of war : Kartna defeated all the Pandavas except Arjun but did not killed them as promised to Kunti. Now on the day of his death, multiple factors had to come together so that he can be killed.

Krishna was clever and never put Arjun in front of Karna for much longer in 16th and 17th day, as his defeat (and death) was sure due to Vijay dhanush (a boon given by Parshurama, the holder of this bow could not be defeated). He waited till the first curse (in some versions this is a thing, where karna was cursed by dharti mata, because he had hurt her or something) kicked in and his chariot wheel got stuck in mud . His charioteer Shalya (who was uncle of Pandavas) refused to take it out so Karna had to get down himself.

Due to this, he had to leave his bow Vijay, which was the 2nd factor which led to his death. As long as that bow was in his hand, it was impossible to kill Karna.

Then Krishna put Arjun in front of Karna and asked him to kill Karna. Karna tried to defend himself by invoking Brahmastra but 2nd curse kicked in. He forgot the mantra (chants) to invoke Brahmastra.

And For the first time in a long time, Karna rested.*crying in pillow: intensifies*  

Karna’s only son (I forgot his name) that survived the war became very dear to Arjuna. Arjuna was literally his guru and this guy was became the future king of Indraprastha. 

In conclusion, if you still don’t think Karna deserved better It’s ok. *shakes head at screen in disappointment* Ok but honestly, If Karna did what he did, he did it because what people did to him. Yes he had a choice but really if you were him would you be able to see these choices?

As most of her insecurity started because of him and how she had to be the bigger person for his other family, clearing out the misunderstanding between them brought a sense of peace  while she’s settling in the restless turn of events.

As most of her insecurity started because of him and how she had to be the bigger person for his other family, clearing out the misunderstanding between them brought a sense of peace  while she’s settling in the restless turn of events.

y/n becomes a real baddie when she’s pissed off 😫

hmm y/n wasn’t really working hard for her dad’s attention, it was more like she felt so left out and unwanted (she feels unwanted wherever she goes) that she just decided to pack up and support them from afar bcos to her, she’s so alienated in her dad’s family that she felt like she had to work hard to earn a spot in their table. she knows she’s the outsider but she wants to feel like she can be part of them, that she is also a child deserving of love and care, but becos her stepmom focused more on her actual kids and her own dad was too busy with his new family now, it made y/n feel that she had to do something to be worthy of that.

that’s why most of the money she made working in tokyo was still wired to her family; she put her brothers in school and supported them, all because she hoped it would make them accept her more. now, things are different because she finally found her biological family, but even if valeria and co. still don’t want her, y/n is now more focusing on building something that’s truly hers that no one can take away. yes yes, she did become greedy, but more for power than of acceptance. she got to a point she doesn’t care as much vying for her parents’ approval and now thinks her luxury gives her comfort; only because at least she has that much. like she said in the latest chapter, happiness was not what she needed, it was stability and money - all things she lacked before.

and yea she did go back to her roots! all of her issues started with her dad anyway but that part is slowly patching up 🩹💔 oooh actually your theory is right bestie 🧐 gojo found y/n interesting bcos she reminded him of mia, so the more she pushed him away, the more he’s like wait, i’ve been here before, let’s not repeat past mistakes but i can do better now. on the part where gojo talked to mia while she was asleep, notice how he said he’s given a second chance to do better now, all because he couldn’t do them with mia but he could with y/n.

ohhh actually y/n was the one who established that ‘fulfilling mutual need and settling for familiarity instead of being lonely’ type of relationship. gojo avoided her for weeks and he’s pretty settled in keeping his distance, but she was the one who sought him out. deep down, y/n is afraid if she doesn’t at least use him as an anchor to her more humble roots, then she might spiral out of control and end up like valeria, thus using him as a ‘distraction’ but in reality, she needs his comfort to be grounded.

celebrity chef! sukuna is MEAN! he was pictured after gordon ramsay so lmao. omgggg sukuna being famous not only for his food but also his handsomeness 😳 he gets so cocky over how no one can get in his level while popping a battle of champagne, listening to ‘careless whisper’ while dancing to his reflection in the mirror 😤

also yoo supermodel! choso is THE hot shit 🥵 he’s so famous his schedule is packed for an entire year and a half and those are just for very selected brands and designers! ugh imagine going to work on the subway when you see supermodel! choso with rbf posing sexily and you swoon because he’s so sexy. plot twist that choso doesn’t know how to drive bcos as a kamo family member, they grew up with drivers taking them to and fro, so when his driver got sick and everyone else was busy, supermodel choso takes the subway himself and hides behind a face mask and cap while still wearing extravagant clothes that makes him stand out more. he does not have ‘subtle’ on his book at all.

and yeah people say he’s intimidating but its more his height and build + rbf! in reality, he’s just as soft and sweet as naoya, but both of them go into protective mode when someone they care about is being crapped on. and boy when they DO get into “what did you just say?” mode, better run away 🏃🏻‍♀️ supermodel! choso is also an heir to the kamo empire though not after the business, but he still has enough power to take you down in a second.

meanwhile, lawyer! naoya didn’t become this successful without being so savage yet composed he makes you question your entire existence before he drags you to court. lawyer! naoya is so scarily convincing that he can make you plead guilty even tho you did nothing wrong 💀

aaaah omg supermodel! choso LOVES babies actually! as the eldest child who looked after his brothers bcos the kamo parents are always away for work, being a father figure is so natural to him. i can picture him being the one who cries harder than gojo if the baby is born bcos he’s so excited, then reads poems to the baby before sighing that childbirth is such a beautiful thing 🥺
