By the end of the show Spencer actually became my least favorite Liar. I completely resent that she took over the whole show, to the point where you have to wonder why the other Liars were even being tortured by Uber A/Alex Drake to begin with, other than just, well, we're still trying to pretend this is PLL and not the Spencer Show so A obviously has to pretend to care about not-Spencers too. And that's not all, like, as soon as she started dating Toby his friendship with Emily completely disappeared and his storyline became all about Spencer, the Ezra is A storyline was pretty much all about her and her addiction when it should've been about Aria, and of course she also got Hanna's love interest on top of her own, basically proving that Melissa might've had a point about Spencer's habit of eating off of other people's plates. (Although Melissa can fuck off because her boyfriends were adult men preying on a teenager. The show still chose to prove her right with the awful Spaleb plot though.)

And the thing is, I like Troian! I agree that she's easily one of the best actors in the cast (unless she's doing a British accent)! I want her to get cool shit to do, I'm just not down to watch the fucking Spencer Show while the other three (four if you count Alison, which is a whole post all on its own) get paid dust.

You can’t tell me otherwise that the PLL writers in early season 4 had plans to make the Black Widow Melissa Hastings and NOT Sara Harvey. Marlene King always said she loved Melissa’s character and said the same thing about Black Widow. Due to Torrey Devito being unavailable for filming at the time, they had to alter course. Not to mention, the fact they only had Mona mention that it was Melissa helping Wilden get rid of Garrett on the Halloween train in the Queen of Hearts costume, which corresponds to the card Mona holds in bed in Radley. Melissa was always supposed to be an A team member / Uber A and nothing will change that belief in my mind.

So, a while has passed from the finale and I still can’t get over the fact that the Melissa reveal was fake. I loved it when we saw her, I thought “Yeah, this is gonna make sense, this is gonna tie up everything since the beginning”. There was room for explaining so much stuff, for linking everything. I loved it.

Then, we suddenly saw it was just a mask, and for what? What was the purpose of Mona wearing a Melissa mask if not to screw with the fans? It’s not like it had any meaning whatsoever in the finale storyline.

That’s when I thought “Ok, this is gonna be crap” and, unfortunately, I was right.

I'm not sure about A.D. creating the A game and playing it with Mona but I am sure they did play it with Charlotte. Both played it from S3 to 5. Then came the Dollhouse, which I believe is where Charlotte took over. She kidnaped the girls because A.D. probably wanted to hurt them. Remember, Charlotte loved all her dolls. And, if I remember correctly, all messages from S6A were signed by 'Charles'. That proves it was not the A game anymore. It was Charlie's game. A.D. probably helped her to settle the reveal so she could take the fall and put the game to rest. After her death, A.D. saw the best opportunity to avenge their friend (maybe sister) and bring back the game.

When the 6B finale aired, Marlene came out and said something like, "Uber A became A to avenge Charlottes death"? If we are going with the theory that Lucas is Uber A, what connection will he have to Charlotte? Could he possibly be the mister between his two sisters, Charlotte and Spencer? If we are going with ANY theory that Uber A is another one of Mary's children, why are they avenging Charlottes death, but giving Spencer arguably the worst treatment out of the liars? Maybe Lucas isn't AD and is just helping? I can 100% see the motive behind why he wants to torture the liars, but why would he want to avenge Charlottes death? I dunno, my brain hurts lol
