Since we're getting closer to the release of the next Madoka Magica movie, I'd like to gently remind you guys that Rebellion doesn't have a single reliable narrator, and you really can't take anything the girls say as fact.

Madoka, Mami, and Kyoko have all had their memories tampered with by Homura and don't have the full story

Sayaka and Nagisa are both mentally fully there, but they're biased as they benefit from Madoka's system

Homura is being prodded by Kyubey, is in the middle of a mental breakdown, is missing key information, and is locked inside her own head where she is subconsciously filtering out and ejecting things that don't alight with the reality she wants there

This isn't to say that any of these girls are bad people or being intentionally manipulative. Just please keep in mind that all these characters' perspectives are skewed, and you really can't take everything they say at face value.

Im so hyped for Walpurgisnacht Rising.

… and because of that I am posting my favorite scene from Rebellion.

They made this so good and so creepy and unnerving. Madoka falling into the ground (turning into pepto bismol), the calming yet eerie music, and the faceless low poly 20 foot tall Homuras circling around Homura, and thats just a few Im listing. I can go on about this scene FOR HOURS! Its just so forking cool and amazingly disturbing. I can’t wait to see the sequel.

Magical girl ramblings of the day: GUSHING OVER MAGICAL GIRLS

I think it’s the best time to bring this manga series up considering it’s getting an anime adaption next year.

First and foremost I’d like to clarify that I don think anyone should watch this anime when it comes out, or even slightly support it.

Now onto what the manga is about; it’s about a girl who’s super into the Tres Magia, a trio of pastel magical girls who fight the forces of evil. She gets confronted by a creature who asks if she’d like to be like them too, which she eagerly agrees before transforming into a bdsm based outfit, and being declared on the enemy side.

I went into this manga knowing purely it had Yuri, and I thought that was interesting and the designs and magic system seemed cute before I was jumpscared with bdsm. To be frank, nsfw mangas are okay but not when they involve children. It gets worse when they get a 8 year old on the enemy team, and they proclaim her as dirtier than the rest of them, with her powers also being bdsm based.

That’s when I dropped the manga. I tried pursuing through it so I could atleast write a good review on it, but I couldn’t continue once the 8 year old was brought into the picture. I’m disgusted that this manga is getting an anime adaption but then again, Miss Kobayashis Dragon Maid got one too. It’s sad that we keep getting anime adaptations of blatant ch***p**n.

I only wanted to make this post because I don’t think a lot of people understand just how horrific this anime will be, if based on the manga. It’s not cute, it’s not good Yuri. If you want something cute with good Yuri in the magical girl franchise, I beg you to seek other media. Such as Madoka Magica, Magical Girl Raising Project, Sailor Moon, and so much more.

am watching Madoka Magica for the first time and I'm only on the second episode but I do not fucking trust whatever Kyubei is one bit, every time that thing is on screen I'm looking at it like >:(

the quiet girl with the black hair seems cool though and the blue haired one is really sweet too

was not expecting the yellow one to pull out a giant fuckass gun like that though lol
