hello everyone ! my name is hyune or phobia, i'm 21+ and use he／they pronouns. i'm currently looking for long—term one on one roleplays with people 18 and older, preferably on discord, or roleplay groups to join ˎˊ-.

⊹ i write in a descriptive, 3rd person point of view, normally ranging from three to five paragraphs. if you have a different writing style, shorter or longer, i'll match ! i tend to use a lot of prose and flowery language, as well as visual changes in my writing — including using capital words or fonts for emphasis. if you would prefer i don't do this, feel free to let me know and i'll leave it out !

⊹ generally, i prefer plots where romance is not the driving factor. i will often include it as a subplot, or something that furthers the main point, but romance—centered stories are not for me ! that being said, if there is a romance plot that you're very interested in, feel free to offer it and we can see if it's something that can be worked with. i absolutely love soulmate plots where neither of them are expecting it, or the soulmatism is the cause of sooo much pain and anguish.

⊹ i love angst. i love it. i live it and breathe it and i will injure and maim and maul my characters for fun! sorry about this! i like hurting them! fluff is so rare!! what is a happy ending without pain so they can appreciate it! etcetera. i'm sorry!!

⊹ plot—wise, once more, i tend to work with darker plots. many of my writings include death, light gore, religious imagery and blasphemy, drugs and illegal substances, and more generally mature themes. while i may reference suicide or self—harm, it will not be actively written. that aside, i will not write r*pe, ab*se, in*est, p*dophilia or any of the above topics including a minor. i also do not tolerate racism, and prefer not to write any kind of sexism. homophobia is a theme that many of my characters will have in their backstory, but not one i'm willing to include in current roleplay events other than as a reference to the past.

* as a note : any action by my characters that is illegal or generally seen as wrong is not one that is endorsed by me. these are actions taken by fictional characters in a piece of writing that stays between me and another writer or group of writers, and are not identifiers of a lifestyle that i believe others should attempt to emulate.

⊹ i will write smut if it furthers the plot or if we are close only. please do not request it; i will not write it as a focal point. any smut or sexual mentions in my writing are based purely on built chemistry and generally, will shape the plot: i do not believe that casual sex will not change a relationship. if that is a plot point for us, then by all means ! — i do not have any issue with discussing sexual themes in writing, and do believe in a sex—positive environment.

⊹ i prefer queer pairings. my characters' gender identity and sexuality often play a crucial part of their journey and even if it's not active in the roleplay, it is important to me and i will be talking about it ! most, if not all, of my experience lies with mlm ／ nb pairings, but i'd like to reach into wlw pairings and writing to better myself. ˎˊ-

⊹ most of my characters have an irl idol or celebrity faceclaim. i do not do real—person roleplay, though i may reuse names, but my characters are not their faceclaims. i use them because they inspire me and are fitting. all my ocs are close to or older than their fc. most of my faceclaims are k—pop idols. if this bothers you, do not bother with interacting! i have a few that are not, but i tend to have very low muse for them.

⊹ i prefer oc and fandomless writing. that being said, i do have ocs and canon characters that i've written in the genshin impact verse and bungo stray dogs universe. i'm very open to writing these, it's just not something i've done as often ! i'm also willing to dip my toes into honkai impact 3rd, saw, hannibal, or something with a plot similar to inuyasha, neon genesis evangelion, stardew valley, legends of zelda, reanimator, and a lot more !

⊹ i've been roleplaying and writing for over eight years, on multiple different platforms from wattpad to tumblr to twitter, discord, and mewe. generally, i prefer plotting before deciding on characters as it allows me to be sure the characters will be ones that will help rather than hinder the plot and leave us at a standstill !

He wrote an entire book about his journey but the book is called bullshit and he a liar. He's written well-thought out articles and forewords to books. He speaks intelligently and passionately and knowledgably about his liquors and the process of getting to market, and is called a shill. His work with Prickly Thistle is expensive and taking peoples' money, even when it helped this woman-owned mill immensely. It goes on and on. Today he's been accused of hypocrisy for a plastic cup, thirst trapping to change a conversation and using his social media as a PR tool to fool gullible women. Some may want to see beneath the mask but when he's shown what he is willing to you get the above.

Thank you for your thoughts. I have read your long comment very carefully and let's say I agree with about 85% of it. The itching point is, of course, the book: Waypoints is a good ghostwritten memoir I have commented at length, with a more benevolent view than most of those who found it took some substantial liberty with what they (and I, for that matter) think it's the current state of play in SC Land. Note I am not saying the truth: that's only for Them to know, not for us. So dismissing it and calling everything a lie is a bit of a stretch. It's just a memoir, to be followed by other projects, other books. And who knows, another memoir, later on, where he could correct the course again at his convenience. He's only 43. Give the man some credit.

Trouble is, the world is a vast and diverse place. It's not just this fractured fandom. If he wants to remain relevant beyond OL, he needs, in my humble opinion, two things: a) to score a big role in a big budget production, which would improve his notoriety and help him reach a different public and b) curate his personal image a bit more and get out of this midlife crisis fake character he's peddling around. The only people who find it interesting are the thirsty mommies in *urv's crowd and that's, uhm... a bit irrelevant, in the big scheme of things.

So, no more political blunders, please and thank you. Shut the hell up and play Switzerland on complicated and divisive society issues which can get one in boiled water for a comma. Carefully picked and curated CSR projects, he'd ideally be more actively involved in. And yes, maybe a bit more transparency on the so many great things he does, like that partnership with the Edinburgh's Youth Theatre he didn't even mention himself or include in his stories (no doubt, out of a very British and endearing sense of modesty). And always remember: when faced with something beautiful and fragile, like that story, people will try their best to smear it and break it. I am not bitter, just realistic.

Same goes for your conclusion: I am sure many would like to see more of what is beneath that mask. It's too bad that a bunch of bitter, nasty, clueless, but also very noisy women occupy a bigger part of the stage than they should.

But have faith, Anon. For the moment, all of this is nothing what a good PR, not the clowns he obviously hired, can't fix with relative ease. Trust me. I've seen way worse. I don't RP with direct portrayals of the Abrahamic God. While I myself am not religious, and am actually kind of anti-Christianity given how many times, and how deeply, I've been hurt by Christians? I deeply believe in respecting people's faiths and needs. I don't need to share someone's faith to support them in it, and just because I've had bad experiences doesn't mean I believe they're all awful and don't deserve some consideration. A friend has requested people avoid putting RP posts with God or Jesus as a character (especially being shipped) onto their dash, and I think that's a completely fair request. Blacklisting and tag filtering doesn't always work, I get it.

When it comes to activity... I am very, very slow, but I generally don't lose interest in plots. Just because it has been a long time in between replies doesn't mean that I suddenly don't care anymore. I have a loooong attention span, even if I only have two brain cells. Don’t try to bully or guilt-trip me into writing smut, please. I can and will write it. I’ll write filthy, explicit smut (tagged and under a read-more). I’ll write soft vanilla stuff. I’ll write fade to black, whatever my RP partner prefers–I’ll do my best to match your vibe. But if you mock me for the fact that I prefer to let smut happen organically? I’m out. Additionally, I am ace. What interests me about smut is how it affects the characters or the stories. If all you want is just to write filth because it's hot... I'm probably not the writer for you just because we will never be on the same page/have the same vibes, and I've learned that just kind of wears me out.

And on a last note... Personal ethics are actually important to me. Being respectful is important to me. I spent almost a year on this blog buying into the general RPC culture of "always look the other way, smile even if someone punches you down, never care too deeply, enable everyone to keep on getting off, whatever they need." But the thing is... that's not me. As I said in an answered ask: " It's easy to keep on partying and rolling with it all and having fun if you don't worry about who gets hurt along the way, if you expect the person you knocked down to play the game and pretend that nothing happened... But that's not a game I want to play--and the people who do want it like that aren't ones I want to be close with. EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS? : I've been writing for a long time now- way back when I was passing notes in grade 9 classes with friends, or passing them things in the halls. I had an entire notebook just for an idea a friend and I were going back and forth on at one point. It's been 15 years of me being a menace. I didnt get into RPC until I joined Twitter in 2020, and then I left bc it wasn't all a good writing environment due to a toxic person, and now Im here and I am so happy to be writing with everyone that I do.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? : It depends. I don't mind smut, but it has to be a build up to it and it will take me ages to write it. Fluff has to have it place and time as well. I can't just write white picket fence happily ever after things, I lose interest way to fast. I adore and love angst, but I do actually like if it has some sweet moments as well. Just to add more flavour when they suffer.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? : I wish I could write long replies all the time. Sometimes my brain shuts down and I need to do small things though. Depends on how I feel.

PET PEEVES? : Admittedly, I hate being pressed for replies. Asking for replies is totally fine! Sometimes I forget and yeah, I'll bump up someones reply on my list of things to do. I also dislike when people acting like I favour one writer or another. I go where the muse takes me. Sometimes, someone gets 10 replies, and others get 2-3. I dont like anyone more than another, it's where the dopamine and focus goes to. I have ADHD and I gotta find it somewhere. Sometimes that a single thread, sometimes it's turning off all my devices and reading 3 novels in a day.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE? : Absolutely not. Shivan is the total opposite of me, which makes him so much fun to write. Admittedly, I connect with the fact that Shivan ran away from home (he just did it while I communicated with my parents), and I also did work as an escort for a few years before finding a stable job that helped me go to college. Most of my characters admittedly, end up being queer or trans, because I am queer/trans.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

HM!! Very difficult question to answer. I was fortunate enough to write Nnoitra / Grimmjow for several years on here with Lexie, so that ship is dear to me, but I don't see myself writing them together again because yeah, Lexie's Grimmjow was just the perfect fit for Nnoitra. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get in contact with Lexie for a few years now, but I'm still forever blessed to have written this ship with them.

So, I don't really have an OTP for Nnoitra. His most popular canon ships, Nnoitra / Nelliel and Nnoitra / Tesla are not OTPs for me, but I'm still open to writing them if our muses click.

I honestly prefer either crossover-ships, OCxCANON or rare-pairs. I want interesting dynamics that I haven't thought about or tried before.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

I'm open to anything, as long as it's in-character for Nnoitra. It's pretty difficult ( or should I say impossible? ) to have a healthy ship with Nnoitra, as he is a very toxic person, so writing toxic ships is my jam. I'm fine with writing non-con ( Nnoitra's canon, hello? ), abuse, manipulation and so on and so on. The only things I will not write are things that I consider OOC for Nnoitra, such as him being the submissive in the relationship, any type of feminization-plot. I also won't write prefect lovey-dovey ships because that's just not Nnoitra.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

No age gap limits, but Nnoitra is not interested in minors. I also won't write ship with mods who are under 20. I'm in my late 20s and considering the sort of dark material I write and how toxic Nnoitra can become in a relationship, I feel more comfortable if my writing partner is older than 20.

Are you selective when shipping?

YES. I'm very selective when shipping. Mostly because it takes Nnoitra a good while to form that sort of bond with someone. I also like for things to develop "naturally". I don't do pre-established romantic relationships. I want Nnoitra to fall in love on his own, without me pushing him along.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

I typically tag things as "suggestive //" right away if there is a sexual or graphic tone to the post. Nnoitra is a crude person so this can happen easily. I would only tag sex or foreplay as NSFW.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

At the moment, I have no active ships for Nnoitra ( he's sleeping with a couple of people though, win for him fjfjfjf ). I really miss writing ships for Nnoitra, so I'm writing a few crossover ship fanfics for him (Nnoitra/Atsushi and Nnoitra/Kōtarō), but this is just self-indulgent because I want to see him happy from time to time ahaha.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?

No, you don't. It's absolutely cool to tell me if you want to try and explore a ship between our muses though! I'll be onboard for exploring, but please note that there is never a guarantee that Nnoitra will grow attached to your muse. We can set them up on a date ( Nnoitra is actively trying to find dates these days ), but again, there are no guarantees. If your muse has feelings for Nnoitra, feel free to tell me!

How often do you like to ship?

RARELY! Like man oh man, haven't had a ship on here for 200 years at this point. I would like to ship more, but at the same time it's Nnoitra who decides when he falls in love, and that is a slow process. I'm just hitching along for the ride.

No, I consider my blog selective few-ship. I also will only have one ship per verse. I'm looking for a few ship partners ( or just one, I'm up for being single ship ) who I can write deep and dedicated plots with.

Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?

I'm not ship obsessed by any means, since it's been many years since I've written a ship for Nnoitra. I AM currently searching for a ship for him, because I do miss writing that sort of thing, but if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't happen. All good.

About Me

When did you first start writing?

I wrote my first story at age 7, started my first book at age 12 (no you can't read it, it's terrible) and published my first poem at age 15.

Are the genres/themes you enjoy reading different from the ones you write?

Despite writing fantasy, I actually don't read much of it myself. My undergrad career focused most on British literature (specializing in Victorian lit) so that's what I'm most familiar with and what I like the most.

Is there an author (or just a fellow writer!) you want to emulate, or one to whom you’re often compared?

I don't really seek to emulate anyone because I have my own unique voice, and I don't really get compared to anyone else either. I exclusively write at my desk. My setup looks like this:

What’s your most effective way to muster up some muse?

Funnily enough, I often get inspiration from my day job as an SEO writer, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the types of stuff I write. Sometimes I'll just be hammering away at a Construction Accident Personal Injury Lawyer page and it strikes me that I need to kill one of my characters.

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and places you write about?

Sort of. I have this thing I do where I like to mentally walk through buildings I used to visit as a relaxation activity, like my childhood elementary school, so that's given me a good memory of how places are laid out. As for actual settings? No, most of those are just made up of pictures I've seen of different places that I've never visited.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing, and if so, do they surprise you at all?

Some of my recurring themes include: Degradation/transformation of memory Struggling against fate/the unknowability of fate Found family Abusive relationships Moral relativism Satisficing (choosing between multiple suboptimal outcomes to pick the least harmful option) None of them surprise me; I recognize where they come from. For example, my obsession with the degradation and transformation of memory comes from my own struggles with dissociative amnesia, and my interest in satisficing comes from my International Relations degree. My concerns about the unknowability of fate come from the fact that I had a premonition that I'd die of a heart attack at 42. And I'm 32 right now. You can imagine that this influences my process lmao.

My Characters

Would you please tell me about your current favorite character? (Current WIP, past WIP, never used, etc.)

As a lesbian, I am not ashamed to say that I am deeply and passionately horny for Uileac (who you can meet in "Cachaille" or read about in 9 Years Yearning). Like how can you not go crazy for a man who thinks this is the perfect declaration of love?

He's so scary and so devoted, yet also very chill and laid-back? And funny? And athletic? And protective of his lil sis? He's just ... (screams into pillow)

Which of your characters do you think you’d be friends with in real life?

Ono. He's a Sinan royal guard who is just so sweet but also kinda dumb.

There's a scene where he has to ask Cerie what kind of menstrual products she needs for their trip, which is both mortifying and really adorable. He's just a really gentle and nice guy who I think would get along with damn near everyone.

Which of your characters would you dislike the most if you met them?

I think Mordrek would scare the absolute shit out of me ngl. Like ... bro just ... does this kind of shit on the regular

Tell me about the process of coming up with of one, all, or any of your characters.

Uileac, Orrinir, and Ono were heavily inspired by Uguisumaru, Ookanehira, and Omokage from Touken Ranbu and I don't apologize for that. Obviously they are a bit different, but their personalities are quite similar. Cerie was developed from a roleplay where I was playing as Uguisumaru's made-up sister, so that's why she's Uileac's sister in Poesyverse. Haniya, Cerie's love interest, was made up by using personality testing and astrology to come up with Cerie's Perfect Match. No one knows where Mordrek came from. He just kinda showed up.

Do you notice any recurring themes/traits among your characters?

They all have daddy issues. Every single fucking one of them.

How do you picture them? (As real people you imagined, as models/actors who exist in real life, as imaginary artwork, as artwork you made or commissioned, anime style, etc.)

All the art I have for my characters was made with AI before I realized AI was absolute garbage shit, so I'm not showing it, but I did commission a painting of Cerie from the amazing artist Caleb over on Twitter:

What’s your reason for writing?

For me, that's kind of like asking why a bird sings. It's just what I do and what I have always done.

Is there a specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating coming from your readers?

Definitely when someone says that my writing helped them or resonated with them. My writing gives me catharsis and it feels really good when other people say they got that same sense of catharsis.

How do you want to be thought of by those who read your work? (For example: as a literary genius, or as a writer who “gets” the human condition; as a talented worldbuilder, as a role model, etc.)

As someone who takes risks that pay off.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Depicting trauma without being melodramatic.

What have you been frequently told your greatest writing strength is by others?

People have told me they like how meticulous and carefully set up my stories are without infodumping or being boring. They appreciate the work that goes into planning things, how it all pays off in the end and comes together nicely without plot holes.

How do you feel about your own writing? (Answer in whatever way you interpret this question.)

I think I've come a long way and continue to improve, which is what is most important.

If you were the last person on earth and knew your writing would never be read by another human, would you still write?

The last Kauaʻi ʻōʻō still sang until the end. So yes.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely what you enjoy? If it’s a mix of the two, which holds the most influence?

I write whatever the hell I feel like when I feel like it. People tend to like it, but if they don't, I enjoyed making it anyway.

The Masked Marketplace Festival: one of the most beloved events in Ethiopia, it is a week in the middle of May where all are seen as equals and no one is recognizable. royals, nobles, and commoners alike come together to sell skills, artistry, weaponry, livestock, fashion, and more - all under the guise of elaborate wooden, painted masks. you never know who you are buying from, nor who may purchase what you offer, but it has never failed to bring the nation together in the past. the streets of Adababy are filled with tables && vendors, fortune-tellers and artists, performers and scammers alike.

The 5-Year Butterfly Migration: every 5 years towards the end of May, butterflies in masses arrive to Ethiopia through the Simien Mountain paths, creating a stunning and spectacular view. Many rare butterflies can be seen during this 2-3 day period where they travel through the mountains, and it has become an anticipated spectacle among Ethiopians. Lovers are known to take romantic picnics or luncheons along the migration trail, or even camp out on the mountain to watch the butterflies wake up in a sea of color and flight.

Spring's End Evening Concert: starring musical talents from Brazil && Madagascar, Ethiopia partnered with potential new friends to put on a night of beautiful music, intricate dancing, and delicious food. the set up will take up most of the space in the main gardens and festivities && singing will extend long into the night, ending only at dawn the next day.

The story of Missing Numbers is many things. This is a horror story- cosmic horror, psychological horror, body horror, and more. This is a love story in every meaning of the word. This is about trauma, and this is about abuse. This is about childhood. This is about growing up. This is about death, this is about loss, and this is about grief. This is about finding, and losing, the only ones who could ever understand you. This is about finding, and losing, yourself.

This is about the forgotten. This is about the empty spaces left, as the world grows and changes. The missing souls whose absence warps this reality.

This is intended to be an all-purpose blog for everything relating to Missing Numbers. Here, we will archive, post, and share artwork, writing, informational posts, fanart, and more.

This will also function as an Ask Blog! In regards to how this works, the askers will interact with the world through the character of The Assistant, a rookie researcher who has been employed by Professor Ace Maple to supervise a series of Zubat-like drones (see also: 1, 2). Their job in Ace's lab is to watch for and study anomalies. Inevitably, they'll encounter many people of interest through these drones, who may be able to answer questions about these- among having other curiosities about them... Nothing is ever quite as it first seems.

As of now, there are six active cams, as well as an odd seventh one that doesn't quite belong... The Assistant has also been given permission to use Ace's Rotom Phone to make calls.

On Blog Interaction: Interactions with other blogs are OK for the currently active characters written by mods Starry (Ace, Fire, Glitchy, Leaf) and Hell (Green). These interactions are NONCANON to the story of Missing Numbers. Regarding characters met on the blog via Ace's drones (Fire, Glitchy, Leaf), clarify if you're interacting via the drones, otherwise it will be assumed your muse is meeting them in-person. ABOUT MISSING NUMBERS.

Missing Numbers is a story- you could consider it an AU, I guess- that we (@creatively-cosmic) are building with several friends (including @viscarrion, who's co-running the blog with us!). Joining us are two more friends, Hell (@hells1nfern0 ) and Xen (@theborderworldxen)!

Initially called our "Pokepasta Cinematic Universe," the premise has expanded into a full narrative based on various Pokemon Creepypastas we've enjoyed and grown up with, as the darker aspects of the main Pokemon universe itself, and the many glitches found in the games. With all of these brought together, we're making a narrative of our own- something deeply personal to us that I'm glad we've been able to share. Remember that Pokepastas will NOT be the only focus- we have plenty of original ideas in store to offer.

This story is centered around exploration and discovery, and will thus have the potential to span across every entry in the Pokemon franchise. An anthology, if you will, much like the original series itself.
