Drawing Game + Requests! [OPEN]

RULES:

Anything past "Z" is lowercase, anything before it is uppercase. Please don't mix these up!

These are the characters I feel I can draw well, but I may have missed some, so please ask!

Please give each letter a number. For example: B96

If you want a group, then it can look like this: K78, H79, E80 (you can look down and match them if you're curious about these examples)

Feel free to send in your own references if you wish! I'm just super picky about them, so it'll be based on chance though

Finally! I don't know how long I'll have the energy for this, I'll have to close it when I'm feeling drained. This also comes with the warning that I won't be able to draw everything asked of me if I find it difficult. I promise I'll do my best! I only human though.

Also just a side note, but I feel more experienced with drawing Shinso, Aizawa, Mic, and Midnight

DON'Ts:

No animals or inhuman characters please! I can't draw people like Spinner, Mineta, Stain, Nezu (maybe), Eri (sorry, I can't draw kids), etc.

Also goes for buffer/more muscular characters like Sato, Endeavor, Shoji, Tiger, Nana, Mirko (maybe), etc (I can't draw muscles well)

Please don't give me generic stock photos if you're asking for a personal reference! I mainly use actual images

Please no low quality! It doesn't have to be super high quality or anything, but drawing chunky pixels hurts my eyes

No NSFW please (goes for other things as well)

Please try to keep it MHA. I might do other animes if there's enough references of them and if you're super specific with it though (maybe)

Please don't rush me! I'm always finding myself busy at the most random times, especially with school and work. I need time to rest sometimes as well since my mental health isn't the best

Please don't give me several photos and expect me to put it together into one. An example of this would be giving me an image of a shirt, another of pants, and another of a hat, and then asking me to draw [character] wearing it.

No ships please! I'm not against it, and I'll draw characters doing things together, but I don't feel comfortable drawing characters acting lovey dovey with each other

Also I'm not very good with redrawing anime scenes, I like creating things over that (sorry! >⁠.⁠<)

I'm good with some slight angles and perspectives, but not if they're extreme (such as a fish eye lens)

I love drawing random objects and food! It doesn't just have to be people

Same thing as above, but I also love drawing scenery (if it isn't too complex)

Like I said, it doesn't have to be strictly MHA, I'll draw other animes as well as long as they're popular enough so I can have a reference to go off of (I'm bad at drawing from memory)

I also love drawing mock advertisements and things like that (I recently drew a mock album cover with Mic on it)

If you wish for me to draw you line art for you to color yourself, I'll try my best at that too! Just a warning though, most of my drawings look better with color (that's why I rarely give the line art out since it can get rather messy).

Also! I love color palettes, so if you want a specified color palette for a drawing then I'll be fine with that!

• = Closed (Not taking requests. Might again in the future since I love to draw. This means I'm either going through art block or my energy will take quite some time to replenish)

Please don't request at this time. I don't want to disappoint anyone if I need a couple months to myself. If you do request during this time I won't delete it, in fact I might even get back to it when I get into a drawing mood again. But it's not recommended.

I suppose that's all I have to say, if I remember anything else in the future I'll be sure to add it!

The way I'll follow requests are I'll mainly try to finish those that aren't anonymous first, so those that wish to stay anonymous are okay, you just might have to wait a bit >⁠.⁠<

Also, if you can't find any reference photos or are worried what you have might not be suitable, please ask me and I'll give you what I have. I have lots of them, doing pretty much anything! Please please ask!

Tic-Tac-Toe // Soulmate AU

Word Count: ~1400 words

Ship: Peter Parker x Reader, Tony Stark x Peter Parker (PLATONIC, no Starker here)

Warnings: Language per usual, one or two words, and I think that’s it!

Summary: you see everything your soulmate writes on their skin. you get bored one day and decide to play tic-tac-toe

Peter drummed his pen against his desk, bored out of his mind. He had hurt his leg during patrol last night, and May was generous enough to write him a note to get him out of gym class. Now that Peter had to sit in his English classroom while his friends were in gym, he was regretting his decision. He felt a faint tingle on his hand and looked down, smiling as he saw ‘Hi’ written in familiar handwriting. Once you turned fifteen, you were able to see whatever your soulmate was writing on their skin. It had been a year and a half since the first message- a collection of random letters listed down your hand. Peter later figured out it was an answer key for a test you had that day.

During the last eighteen months, you two had become the best of friends, even if you hadn’t been able to meet yet. Certain information was kept private until you were eighteen, for everyone’s sake that was involved. You were able to give out your first name or a nickname, but not your last name. You obviously couldn’t give out your address or phone number, so you had no idea if you knew your soulmate or not.

‘Hi, Y/N’ Peter wrote back, glancing up at his teacher to see she wasn’t paying him any attention.

‘Aren’t you supposed to be in gym right now?’

‘Hurt leg. Wish I would’ve gone now’

‘Bored?’ Peter looked up at his teacher, who was delved deep into her book.

‘You have no idea.’

‘Wanna play a game?’ Peter watched as you drew two vertical lines, then two horizontal lines across the two vertical ones. Peter stifled back a laugh as he recognized what you were drawing.

‘Tic-Tac-Toe? Really??’

‘Don’t you wanna play? :(‘

‘Fine, but I’m starting.’ Peter drew an X in the middle of the makeshift board. You drew a heart in the top right corner. ‘Really, a heart?’

‘Only basic bitches use circles, Peter’ Peter coughed over a laugh, thankful his teacher didn’t spare him a second of her attention. You two continued your game, neither of you winning the first round. Peter won the second, and you won the third. ‘Let’s make this interesting’

‘What’s your idea?’ Peter drew out the next board as you wrote, then placed his X.

‘You’re near 👸🏼 right?’ Peter smiled at the sloppy drawing of a woman wearing a crown. You both had learned ways to bypass the privacy systems. For example, the woman wearing a crown for Queens. You then drew a heart in your spot.

‘Yeah, why?’

‘How about we finally meet?’ Peter’s breath hitched. He’s wanted to meet you since your first conversation, but actually meeting you? Talking face-to-face instead of through writing on your hands petrified Peter. He didn’t stutter through writing, he could be as cool as he wanted. What if you didn’t like him when you actually met him? ‘Peter?’

‘Sorry, sorry’ Peter drew an X in his spot before writing again. ‘Where at?’

‘There’s this restaurant, The Burger Garage. It’s AMAZING. Loser pays?’ followed by a heart as you played your turn. Peter carefully pulled out his phone, looking up the restaurant. Only ten minutes from school. Peter thinks he heard Tony mention the place before. Shit, Tony. Mr. Stark was supposed to pick him up from school today for a weekend at the tower. Peter switched to his messages, sending Tony a message.

Peter: Hey, Mr. Stark! Do you think we could get burgers after school? Lunch was awful today and I’m starvingggg

Peter: Literally wasting away as we speak

Peter: But only if you don’t mind

Tony: Since you’re *literally* wasting away, I can’t let my kid starve.

Tony: Have a place in mind?

Peter sent the address to Tony, playing his turn with you.

Tony: We’ll go after school. Back to work, Pete.

Peter’s hand was practically vibrating, his name written all over.

‘Sorry, Y/N’ Peter played his turn, seeing you had played yours. ‘I asked my ride if he could take me there. Hope you’re prepared to pay.’

‘Actually... I win.’ You drew your heart in your spot and Peter mentally cursed when you won.

‘You cheated! IDK how, but you did’

‘Sorry, what was that? I don’t speak loser’ Peter rolled his eyes, drawing a very sloppy middle finger. ‘Rude!!’

‘Yeah, yeah.’ Peter jumped when the bell rang, signaling the end of gym. ‘I’ve got to go to class, but I’m out in an hour.’ Peter packed up his things as you wrote back.

‘I’ll see you soon, Peter <3’

Peter sighed in relief once he sat in Tony’s car. He buckled up and settled into his seat as Tony drove to the restaurant.

“So. What’s the reason we’re going out to eat?” Tony spoke after a moment of silence.

“What?” Peter looked at Tony, head tilted.

“I was your age once, Pete. I know when my kid is scheming. Now spill.” Peter rolled his eyes.

“First, you were my age like fifty years ago. Second, I’m not scheming!” Tony gave Peter a pointed look. “Okay, maybe I’m scheming. I’m meeting someone.” Tony continued to be silent, letting Peter talk. “I lost a challenge to them in a game, so now I’m paying for our meal.”

“Who is this someone?” Tony asked, his interest piqued. “And you’re in school to learn things, not play games and lose. It’d be different if you would’ve won.” Peter laughed, an amused smile on his lips.

“Their name is Y/N. Uh, they’re... theyremysoulmate.” Tony glanced at Peter.

“Sorry, didn’t catch that last part. They’re who?” Peter sighed, taking a breath.

“They’re my soulmate.” Peter looked at his lap. “I really like them, Mr. Stark. But I’m terrified to meet them.” The car slowed to a stop and Peter’s heart skipped a beat when he saw the restaurant in front of him.

“What are you worried about?” Tony was now turned towards Peter, the car parked.

“What if they don’t like me once they get to meet me? What if they’re expecting someone... more?” Tony frowned and gently grabbed Peter’s chin.

“Look at me.” Peter’s eyes met Tony’s, and Tony could see how scared Peter was. “They wouldn’t be your soulmate if they wouldn’t like you. You’re a great kid, Peter. You’re insanely smart, kind, and caring. You’re funny, brave, and strong. And if they don’t see that, they’re the one missing out.” Peter hugged his mentor tight, relaxing as Tony’s arms wrapped around him. Peter pulled back whenever his hand tingled.

‘I’m at a booth. In a blue hoodie :)’

“They’re inside.” A wave of panic hit Peter. Tony went into protective dad mode, helping Peter steady his breathing through a much too familiar routine. Once Peter’s breathing was stable, he looked at Tony.

“Are you ready?” Tony asked, concern visible in his eyes.

“Yeah. I’m ready.”

Peter’s eyes scanned the restaurant as he walked in. Tony rubbed Peter’s shoulder comfortingly, and Peter mumbled a soft ‘thank you’ as he walked away, looking for you. Luckily, the restaurant was relatively empty, so he didn’t have to look long. You were one of the only people in the booths sitting alone, and you had on a blue hoodie. Peter glanced back at Tony, who gave him a thumbs up, before walking to your booth. You looked up as you heard footsteps, smiling at the boy in front of you.

“Are you Peter?” Holy shit, even your voice was perfect.

“Y-Yeah. I’m Peter, Peter Parker.” Peter took a seat in the booth across from yours, letting out a nervous breath.

“Hi, Peter Parker. I’m Y/N Y/L/N. And I believe you owe me a burger.” And in that moment, Peter felt his nerves melt away as you two fell into conversation. It was like you were lifetime best friends and not that you had just met mere minutes ago. By the end of your “date”, you had exchanged phone numbers and promised to meet again soon. Peter walked you to your car and watched you drive off before heading back inside.

“Soooo? How’d it go?” Peter grinned as he looked at Tony.

“Yeah, they totally like me.”

he coughed while he lay on the ground with a soaked shirt, you were quickly down by his side demanding why he did it

he conveys it was the right thing to do, and it was his time

*cue his “death” and you yelling at him*

you avenged him by spraying yangyang in the face when he was bent over laughing at the scene

xiao jun doesn’t have a designated favorite activity to do with you, he just likes being someone you can rely on to protect you

even if that includes being a human shield for yangyang’s pranks

the crackhead duo

the other group members look on in confusion when you guys start screeching about something

you find something that you both deem funny and then you go into your own world to make jokes and laugh about it

you both have random ticks that you do together

there are plenty of videos, and i mean plenty, where you and hendery are in the background doing something weird in complete synchronization

one video shows you and hendery sitting in the back of the car while kun and winwin sit in front of you

you made a weird noise by accident but hendery made one back so you both just nodded at each other at the same time like some unspoken agreement was come across

another video of you guys exploring tourist attractions shows you and hendery doing a random dance together in the background before you both stop and point to a digital billboard with wayv on it in sync

it weirds the other members out but they don’t question it

another member that people think you’re soulmates with

there are times when you say the same thing at the same time, or hendery starts a sentence and you finish it

both of you don’t even acknowledge when it happens, but the group goes wild every time

especially lucas

he finds it to be the coolest thing in the world

loves, loves, loves going to the studio with you to just mess around when you are supposed to be working on the important stuff

you both come up with a new handshake each week to show the guys

the current one is at least thirty seconds long

you two are almost always live on one platform or another, just messing around and talking to fans

you show off your handshake of the week and then get right into dancing to random songs

sometimes you have a chill live (with the handshake as an opener ofc) and answer fans questions

hendery loves to talk so you guys get way off-topic after each question but neither of you minds

admires when you get excited about anything

has the biggest smile on his face whenever you speak and his eyes never leave your face

always ready to hug you and be super extra when you get serious or act cute in any shape or form

your biggest fan and will not let you speak badly about yourself

constantly trying to prank you

and find something to roast you about

you prank him back and roast him just as much though

sometimes you team up to prank the other members but even then you both watch your backs in the event of a sudden betrayal

prank wars are common and most of the time kun-mama has to step in to get you two to chill out because you’re supposed to be working professionals

yangyang always whines and says something along the lines of, “as expected from the old man to shut down the kids’ fun.”

you laugh every time because kun’s offended expression is pure comedy gold, but you always hug the poor guy after

you both quote memes and have a plethora of inside jokes that none of the other members get

the amount of unique roasts you both come up with is crazy

you find time between all the pranks and calm periods, to play the game where you go back and forth with savage phrases, replying “of course”

moments of peace are rare but when they come around, you and yangx2 are the cutest, most relaxed babies to ever be baby

though he would never admit it to your face in a million years, his favorite moments with you are the ones where you come across a truce and you both let your guards down enough to be extra clingy

you either hang out in his room or yours and relax on your bed

you watch movies, play games, have deep talks about the future, wrestle and play fight, or even nap if you’re both up for it

though make sure you wake up first because yangyang won’t hesitate to draw on your face

sometimes he forces you to lay on his chest so he can hold you close

will become a flustered mess if you try to get him to be the little spoon or even mention how cute he is for wanting to cuddle

he will complain about your teasing but doesn’t do much about it except tickle you

“come on, just let me like,,, relax or something!”

163. clean pastures (1937)

disclaimer: this is the third entry on the censored 11. while there are more cartoons out there that are just as vile, if not moreso, than the cartoons on this list, this is a good indicator of what we’re about to see. this review contains racist content, imagery, and ideals. i do NOT in anyway endorse any of the depictions here. they are gross and wrong. however, it would be just as wrong to gloss over them like nothing even happened in the first place. these cartoons need addressing. i hate reviewing these just as much as you hate seeing them, but these cartoons need awareness. PLEASE let me know if i make any mistakes or say something wrong or hurtful. it is NEVER my intention to do so, and i want my mistakes to be known so i can correct them and own up to them accordingly. thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

not a fun time in looney tunes history--the cartoon released right after this one, uncle tom’s bungalow, is another censored 11, so we have 2 back to back. nevertheless: phil monroe receives his first animation credit (he would have been only 20 at the time), one of my favorite animators. he traveled around quite a lot, working for friz, bob clampett, frank tashlin, chuck jones, and so on, even directing his own cartoon the iceman ducketh alongside maurice noble. the title is a parody of the 1936 film green pastures, and footage from this cartoon would be traced over in yet another censored 11 entry, bob clampett’s tin pan alley cats in 1943. many elements borrowed from friz’s 1934 goin’ to heaven on a mule, clean pastures chronicles the struggling economy of pair-o-dice, and what can be done to ensure hades inc. doesn’t prevail.

to give credit where credit is due, the opening montage is hardly anything less than impressive. harlem is bustling with night life, as displayed by the blinking neon lights of various clubs, ballrooms, restaurants, etc. the animation of a line of dancers is absolutely to be commended: very complex, very high energy, very fun with a lot of energy. stereotypes are, unfortunately, perpetuated as we see the hand of a man shooting craps and snapping in frustration as he misses his shot. another shot limited to just hands, this time preparing cocktails. the use of just hands, no faces or anything else identifiable, is certainly clever directing on friz’s part, adding an air of mystery and excitement. more dancing from a happy (and stereotyped) couple as we get a variety of overlays--the women dancing at the beginning, the couple dancing, and the word HARLEM in big bold letters for all to see.

more very clever animation as the HARLEM spins away, revealing the surface it’s on to be a globe: the earth. the earth gets smaller and smaller as we zoom out into space, complete with details such as shooting stars and other planets. the opening is wonderfully executed in approach and is undeniably very well thought out, though the stereotypes and content itself obviously cannot go unnoticed.

segue into a musical number provided by the four blackbirds, an original titled “half of me (wants to be good)”. the vocals are too wonderful and lovely to belong to such a nasty cartoon. i digress--a horizontal pan takes us further into space, where we spot a trail of empty milk glasses. a wonderful take on the milky way that only took me two watch-throughs to get. above the milky way are the golden gates themselves: pair-o-dice. pair-o-dice was referenced in the moral monstrosity that is goin’ to heaven on a mule, another friz cartoon from 1934.

hone in on a forlorn, elderly angel, saint peter himself, reading the newspaper: pair-o-dice preferred hits new low as hades inc. soars. sure enough, a glum glance at the stocks assert the newspaper’s credibility: the line representing stocks on the board literally goes out of bounds and onto the floor. saint peter checks his ticker tape: results are bleak. the underscoring song comes to an end as he decides to make a call.

and, of course, we are greeted with yet another insulting stepin fetchit caricature playing a trumpet. he’s more concerned about the foul notes he occasionally blats from his trumpet instead of answering the off-screen phone. saint peter on the other end loses patience, angrily pressing the buzzer in conjunction with the underscore. there IS some clever animation as the fetchit angel’s wings pick up the phone and tap him on the head. he answers and gives the affirmative (the whole time speaking in a cruelly stereotypical dialect), a sudden burst of energy prompting him to run to whatever task he needs to tend to.

friz certainly seemed to enjoy the lingering suspension brought on by this cartoon, with the introduction of the segmented hands gambling and pouring drinks and now the confidential phone call prompting the fetchit caricature to plummet down to earth off of a diving board. the animation is very fun, loose, and weightless, all things considered. while the fetchit angel plummets down towards the earth, saint peter places a pin on the globe in his office, right on the spot marking harlem.

more overlays of the bustling harlem nightlife we saw at the beginning, dissolving to focus on the fetchit angel peddling in the streets, trying to get more people to come to pair-o-dice, indicated by the sign on the platform he’s standing on: COME TO PAIR-O-DICE — BE CONTENT. to boot, there’s another sign à la uncle sam with the elderly angel pointing at the audience. “PAIR-O-DICE NEEDS YOU!”, as well as listing a number of commodities promised at the venue. most insulting on the list is the promise of watermelon. very tasteless, offensive, and deplorable. while the angel struggles to properly advertise, we’re met with an interlude of a random passerby tap-dancing. the synchronization between animation and sound at least provides some benefit.

another one of the passerby’s is mister al jolson himself (the blackface caricature of him, anyway. remember, jolson WAS white), singing “i love to singa” while he strolls down the street. as he mentions about wanting to sing about “a sonny boy”, a little ventriloquist puppet randomly plops down from the sky, right on jolson’s knee, the puppet greeting him “hello, stranger!” “sonny boy” was a popular al jolson song, whereas the “hello, stranger!” was taken from jack benny’s radio show. the same catchphrase and i love to singa song were both used in, of course, tex avery’s i love to singa just a year before.

as jolson wraps up his routine, he strolls into a nightclub (named the kotton klub :wince:), much to the fetchit angel’s chagrin: “you can’t go in there! i’m supposed to keep you out of those places!”

back to pair-o-dice, where saint peter and a variety of celebrity caricatures watch from above: fats waller, jimmie lunceford, cab calloway, and louie armstrong. cab calloway would be caricatured in a number of looney tunes cartoons, perhaps most memorably in porky at the crocadero, and fats waller would be rechristened as “cats waller” in tin pan alley cats, which traces over animation from this cartoon. as always, the caricatures are grotesque and one dimensional. there are so many other fascinating aspects to caricature, like fats waller’s eyes, and yet it’s always the lips that get the most exaggeration.

what engages next is a wonderfully catchy musical number—as deplorable as this cartoon is, the music score is wonderful and doesn’t deserve to be in such a hateful cartoon. the celebrities all chastise saint peter for his poor business practices, and how rhythm in your soul, rhythm in your feet, etc. is the way to properly recruit more people. the patter song, the snappy, lilting tempo, the energy, it’s all wonderful and is certainly one of the better musical numbers we’ve heard in merrie melodies thus far. it’s a shame it has to be dampened by such grotesque imagery. the animation is rather nice though, all things considered.

the angels all go down to harlem where they play the big jazz number of the cartoon, “swing for sale” (this is footage from the cartoon itself, so be warned), on the platform the fetchit angel had just been peddling on, with cab calloway providing the primary vocals. calloway’s closeups and animation in general is very smooth, flowing, and fun, and the call and response aspect of the entire song between calloway and the angels is a lovely touch. the backup angels have their own soft interlude, gathering around a microphone, making the mouth trumpet noises present since the harman-ising days.

fats waller provides a double piano solo, reused from goin’ to heaven on a mule where his angel wings play on the piano behind him. the close-up of waller after another scat solo from cab calloway would be recycled in tin pan alley cats.

after waller, calloway points to louie armstrong, who sings a few lines of the song and launches into a trombone solo. once again, the animation is very nice, thinking in technical terms. whoever does the celebrity impressions are quite good at them. a nice little detail is louie’s face turning purple and his eyes bulging as he pushes to get the notes out—i can only imagine the extremes this would be pushed to if the cartoon were made 5 years later.

the song ends, allowing a transition to pair-o-dice, where the golden gates open to let the angels back in. a lovely up-shot of the gates, as well as the constantly moving background as the angels, still performing, traipse along the starry trail and prepare to enter. they’re not alone—a whole line of new recruits follow, wagging their fingers and dancing. the animation of the lead couple was reused from sunday go to meetin’ time, another deplorable freleng piece from 1936.

now, pair-o-dice is bustling. lovely choice on friz’s part to be looking inside pair-o-dice from outside the gates, the golden gates partially obstructing the view of the busy streets. angels line up to get their halos, distributed from a machine. saint peter contentedly places a NO VACANCIES sign on one of the doors, beaming with pride.

suddenly, a knock. he opens the little door window at the top to peer at his visitor. mel blanc’s gravelly voice grunts “may i come in?” saint peter disregards his own sign. “sure. there’s always room for one more!”

with that, satan himself marches inside, prim and proper, hands clasped together, providing a knowing side-eye to the audience as we iris out.

this cartoon is much livelier than the previous censored 11 entries, and its musical score is undeniably fantastic. with that said, this is a terrible, offensive, grotesque cartoon that parades a number of stereotypes and caricatures. it’s not in my place as a white person to decide what is racist and what isn’t, but this is a slight step above from the previous entry, sunday go to meetin’ time, which was just plain cruel. this cartoon is slightly more light-hearted, if that’s at all possible, but still lacks any sense or compassion.

there are a few things that do deserve praise. the animation, again, in technicality terms, is very nice. lots of closeups, lots of flowing animation, lots of intricate hand movements. cab calloway’s animation during the big jazz number and fats waller’s animation playing the piano with his hands and wings are both to be commended. the music score is wonderful, fun, and lively, much too good for the cartoon it’s in. the layouts are also stellar, especially the scenes in pair-o-dice. but still, there’s no way in good conscience that i can recommend this cartoon. you’ll be fine without watching it. it’s certainly polished, but it still remains inexcusable.

having words tattooed on your wrist from the moment your born may seem weird but when the world works around the soulmate program, it begins to make more sense. to make life a little more interesting, the words are not the first thing your soulmate says to you, just a phrase that one day will leave their lips.

“i can not believe you’re friends with someone so annoying.” yn said as she sat down next to her little brother, huening kai.

“he’s not that bad. why do you hate him so much?” he poured himself some orange juice.

“well let’s start with this morning. one, i wasn’t told he’d be sleeping over so imagine my surprise when i come out of my room and see him in the hallway.” huening kai had a sheepish smile on his face. “second, after a horrible conversation, i tried to go to the bathroom and guess who just had to go at that exact moment?!”

“yeonjun?”

“yeonjun!”

“yes honey?” speaking of the devil, he walked into their kitchen and smiled at yn who gave him an eye roll as a response.

“did you fall in the toilet? or do you always take that long in the bathroom?”

“it takes time to look this good.” huening kai laughed as his sister stood up to go to the bathroom.

yeonjun sat down after grabbing some food for himself. “are you ever gonna tell her?” the younger boy questioned. “that you guys are soulmates?”

“nah, when the time comes it’ll come. i wish she wouldn’t hide her wrist all the damn time. that way i could plan the perfect time to say what i have to say.” huening kai shook his head at his friends antics.

“hey yn,” she had just come back and she regretted not going straight to her room. “do you think when fish talk, it gets carried in bubbles?” her eyes grew wide which caused both yeonjun and huening kai to look at her weird.

“no! god, why!! it can’t be you. why did you say that?!? oh my god.” she yelled touching her wrist. when your soulmate says the words, a stinging sensation occurs as the words disappear, just in case you needed more reassurance.

yeonjun laughed,” that’s what was on your wrist? wow i expected to be able to play this game at least a little bit longer.”

“wait... you knew? why did you keep it a secret?”

“you’re cute when you’re annoyed.” he shrugged his shoulders.

“huening kai?” he looked up at her,” why don’t you look surprised?”

he looked at the floor,” well you see... i was there when yeonjun found out you were his soulmate. it was at my birthday party.”

“you knew for almost a year!?” she yelled going up to yeonjun.

“i’m gonna leave you two alone.” huening kai said leaving the room quickly.

yeonjun smiled at her,” yes honey. ‘you make a better wall than a window’, with a saying like that i thought my soulmate was gonna be 60 or something.”

“god you are so infuriating! what did i do to get paired up with the one person who never knows how to-“ she was cut off by him pulling her into a kiss. she relaxed into his touch, no matter how much she didn’t want to. when they pulled away he smiled at her, looking at her with love in his eyes. she realized he always did, from the moment they met.

“shut up? i could say the same about you.” she rolled her eyes and hit his arm weakly.

“just because we’re soulmates doesn’t change the fact you’re the most annoying person i’ve ever met.”

he laughed, “well get used to it honey. i’m gonna annoy you for the rest of our lives.”

soobin: thoughts

your thoughts are supposed to be something sacred, something personal, something no one could possibly hear. but from the moment you turn 18, your thoughts are not just yours but your soulmates as well.

“i am not ready for this math quiz at all.” your friend mumbled to you as she sat down.

“math quiz? we have a quiz? please say sike.” you groaned into your hands.

“did you forget?” she sighed as she pulled out her calculator.

“no! i just want to die for no reason!” your teacher started passing out the tests and you saw your grade falling before your eyes.

“good luck.” your friend muttered to you.

you looked at the test, you got this.

okay number one, number one, numberrrrr oneeee. okay let’s just skip to the next one, number two any easier? nope! okay uh how about three. four? oh my god i’m gonna fail.

what test form do you have?

what? who is that? how are you in my head? wait are you my soulmate?

no you just have a random person in your head that totally isn’t your soulmate. are you gonna answer my question?

when lunch rolled by, she was basically jumping in her spot in line. she grabbed some food and hurried out of the busy lunchroom. she didn’t notice the group of boys smiling at her as she went.

“wow... she’s cute. soobin got lucky,” beomgyu commented as the door closed behind her. the other boys nodded as they ate their lunch.

she took a deep breath, opening the door to the lunchroom.

“soulmate... hi.” she locked eyes with a pair of warm brown eyes. “i’m soobin.” he smiled and she felt her heart flutter.

“yn.”

beomgyu: hair color strands

when the new way to find your soulmate was revealed, hair dye was sold out in stores across the country. companies tried to come out with unique colors, the normal reds, browns, and blondes no longer being sold. no matter what color you dye your hair, a small piece of your hair will always match your soulmates. and as long as they keep changing their hair color, the strand does too.

yn looked in the mirror, the strand of hair that links her to her soulmate changing again.

“this kid is going to go bald by the time i meet them.” she said as she picked the now grey strand. she picked a strand of her natural brown hair. her mother said she wasn’t allowed to dye her hair until she was 16. and unfortunately for her, that wasn’t for another month.

she walked downstairs for lunch, texting her friend taehyun as she went.

“they dyed their hair again?” her mother asked, staring at her daughter’s soulmate link. she nodded her head.

“yeah, is it okay if i go hang out with taehyun today?”

“yes of course. i really like that boy. he doesn’t follow the trend to kill your hair like the rest of your generation, sad he isn’t your soulmate.” you stayed silent as you ate your food.

for some reason, her mother was highly agaisnt the dying of ones hair. in her time, her soulmate link was the time clock in one’s wrist, counting down till the day the two meet. it took two years of begging for yn to finally convince her to dye her hair and next month, it’ll finally happen.

“he’s here! bye mom!” she kissed her cheek and rushed out to taehyun’s car.

“nice strand.” he laughed as he drove out of her street.

“thanks,” she laughed and plugged her phone into the aux, playing her music. “what are we gonna do today?”

“i’m actually going to dye my hair today.” she laughed right away and taehyun frowned. “it’s not funny!”

“it is when my mom spent the morning gushing about how ‘you aren’t like everyone else in our generation’”.

“she said that? maybe i shouldn’t do it then... i don’t know beomgyu said i should.”

“who’s beomgyu?” she questioned as they stopped at the local shopping center.

“he’s my friend from my music class. he dyes his hair a lot, he said he’d do it for me. i was actually wondering if you’d come with me? i don’t want to be alone.”

“of course i’ll come, but you’re dying your hair not getting married.” she laughed and he rolled his eyes as they stopped at the hair dye.

“what color should i get? do you think blue suits me? no right. what about red? no, everyone has red. pink? what if i match it to my strand?”

“why would you do that?” she looked at the strand in his hair, it was a bright pink color.

“i don’t know, i’m stressed.” she laughed at him. “what if you just bleach it? go blonde? no one is blonde anymore.”

he nodded his head,” you’re right. let me call beomgyu and ask if he has bleach. do you want to grab some snacks?” she went to the snack aisle and grabbed anything she could carry.

“okay he has ble- wow.” taehyun laughed,” need help?”

“yes please,” he grabbed a couple bags out of her hand.

“hey what if i buy your hair dye? early birthday present?”

“really? okay!” she rushed back to the hairdye and grabbed the pink one she eyeing.

“wow, you’ve really thought about this.”

“yup! now let’s go pay.”

they got out of the car with the bags in their hands, taehyun knocked on the door and a boy with brown hair and warm eyes opened.

“taehyun! taehyun’s friend! come in!” they walked in and set their stuff on the table.

“ooo pretty,” the boy picked up yn’s soulmate link. “that looks like beomgyu hyung’s hair color.”

“what?” both taehyun and yn said.

“hey, you ready?” a boy, beomgyu she assumed, walked out. she looked at his hair and then to the strand that the boy held in his hand.

“you dyed your hair.” taehyun said in the silence but yn and beomgyu‘s eyes never left each other’s.

“beomgyu,” he whispered.

“yn.”

“hey this is cute and all and no offense to you, but she has brown hair. a lot of people have brown hair.” one of the boys on the couch said.

“we bought pink hair dye, what if we dye her hair?” taehyun asked. “are you crazy? my mom would kill me!” she turned to look at her best friend, finally looking away from beomgyu.

“it’s the only way to know for sure.” and that’s how 4 and a half hours later, she stood in front of her mom. her brown hair long gone, now a light pink color with a strand of grey, holding hands with the boy that dyed her hair. his never changing brown strand now matching her new color perfectly.

A/n: nobody asked for this but I am giving it to the internet anyway because there is not enough HB content out there! I was half asleep when I wrote some of these so they may not be the best but they’re what I got and I hope someone out there enjoys them!!
