Random vampire/werewolf au shenanigans I wanted to doodle after the au lore post the other day, and then spent way too long on pfft. A little glimpse at Keralis' skill! And also a look at Grian and Mumbo very soon after Grian became a vampire!

I'm not a comic artist, but this was still a lot of fun! Even if I did end up completly redrawing the first two pages, which made it take a lot longer than I'd hoped. Oh well, got there in the end. Under the cut is a little more context/info about this incident. Under a read more to stop this post from getting any longer lol

Grian was indredibly angry about the situation he'd found himself in at first. At the vampire court he's put in Mumbo's care, and Mumbo is trying. He really is! But he doesn't know how to handle fledglings, and his attempts at helping aren't particularlly successful. Fledglings can lose control so easily and become dangerous to themselves and others, but trying to calm Grian down isn't working. His anger is understandable, but they're not going to get anywhere with him in this state. Keralis knows what will work, it's not something he likes to do to other vampires, but sometimes it's needed. Grian will feel better after a nap, and maybe they'll be able to make some progress when he's calm.

Mumbo meanwhile, learns something new about someone he's known for a century, and still has no idea how he's supposed to handle this whole thing pfft.

Very proud of this one for sure. I remember jumping to make these the instant the outfit transparents were posted because this had to be PB's most r/PointlesslyGendered wardrobe yet. I love how pretty much the entire fandom just responded with a resounding NO to that wardrobe. And it makes me very happy to see these edits do so well.

2. OG High School Story- Edits- Evie and the gang in pajamas I headcanon for them. 66 notes. Posted Jan 15 2024.

For some reason I wasn't expecting this one to get a lot of notes haha. Nevertheless, I am very proud of it. I also got to solidify some headcanons for what the LIs' bedrooms look like, because honestly we needed more time with them and more chances for our MC to visit their houses and hang out and stuff like that lol.

I still hope to do a sleepover fic for them one day.

3. OG High School Story x It Lives in the Woods- Edits- Aiden Zhou possesed by Redfield. 51 notes. Posted Jun 18 2024.

Definitely proud of this one. Arguably my trickiest edit yet, I had to crop the eye transformations from Dan and fit them onto Aiden's eyes. And considering the transformation had a lot of vein-looking details there was quite a bit of inconsistency. But somehow I pulled it off.

Also, I quite enjoy imagining a corrupted, possessed, and/or evil Aiden.

My first art on this blog! Honestly I was very nervous about sharing art for Choices. My style can be very hit-or-miss to me, and even for the ones that I think did turn out well like this one... IDK. IDK how to put it. But eventually I decided fuck it, I wanna share visual depictions of certain ideas and edits are too limiting for that. I was definitely surprised at how relatively well this piece did, but I'm proud nonetheless and now I am indeed making Choices art more regularly.

Also fun fact, this was made back when I thought ROD was annoying and poorly paced and melodramatic. But I replayed it this past May, and I actually found it an enjoyable, not-that-hard-to-follow, solid story.

5. Immortal Desires- Gift Edits- Jiwon and Cas outfit swap. 42 notes. Posted Feb 14 2024.

My second ever Secret Pal event! I love participating in these events and I definitely had fun making this gift. Editing MAH Donovan's hands holding the camera from his CG onto ID Gabe's football CG was... surprisngly not super difficult (though placing the ring I should do more edits that take on a comic format with funny little stories/dialogues like this, honestly. It would be fun.

Update.. I'm not so sure about the seal peice anymore. I'm not sure if I'll just flat out Redo Saxton, Spy, Engie, and Mimi or not but something about this lineart rubs me the wrong way. What I hate about my lineart is that it's full of so much empty space, it's so sterile yet so unimaginably dirty. There's no style behind it, not that it's inconsistent, but there's just nothing to it. It Completely Hides all the work I've done on Anatomy and Gesture over the years do to how Empty and Stiff These Last 3 Lined Characters Have Been. I have no idea what to do about this. But if this journey takes too long the summer update wont be relevant anymore and I will have failed everyone yet again.

I've put artstyle all the way down in my priorities and I think that if I ignore it any longer I will be 30 by the time I enter the comic business and all my expectations of my career won't be met.

Please submit some helpful advice/Recources about How I can fix my lineart not just in the aspects of lineweight, brushes, zooming in. But how I can use it to illuminate my progress rather than hide it and present a distinguishable style in a way that doesn't take over 6 months.
