In your honest opinion, do you think Lighter would date anyone he deems as an honorable, honest, respectful and trustworthy person?

I mean, considering how harsh living in the Outer Ring is and Lighter’s own backstory, I don’t think Lighter would care if he dates a man, woman or nonbinary person because he knows there’s more problems in their world than dating someone by their gender. He did see Pompey brutally turned into an Ethereal and Caesar almost dying in front of him after all, so dating a good person regardless of their gender is the least of his problems.

Also, I 100% know Lighter respects his s/o’s sexuality. He can’t date anyone if he doesn’t respect their sexuality.

personally, i think he would definitely want someone with a good heart and mind. from what i understood when he was talking about his past and now, it seems that he wants to live an honest life.

i think he’s more concerned about being loved rather than loving someone else. until we know more about his backstory, i don’t have 100% confidence to say that but i think he does find it a little difficult to believe he deserves your love. i think that does sort of affect how he loves and who he decides to love. he seems a little secretive but also telling us tidbits here and there? beating around the bush, being vague while still answering any questions we have for him.

another thing is that i think he would like you to be able to stand your ground especially in the outer ring. whether you can fight or not, as long as you don’t let other people walk over you is what i think he might look for. nonetheless, it is something that he can help you develop over time. he isn’t trying to change you, he just doesn’t want you to get into dangerous situations.

ALSO YES !! I BELIEVE THAT LIGHTER RESPECTS YOUR GENDER AND SEXUALITY !! if he loves you, he loves you. if he feels good around you, and you feel good around him, that’s all that matters. he wants to support you in every way and he will love you no matter what !!

here, where i live

There is an oldness to this place, however you couldn’t tell just by looking at it. Though the grey brick roads are of course old, and the corner shops and alleys and castles and statues have sat here longer than anyone you could know has been alive, and the council cheers about its great and rich history on a little plaque posted on every slightly scenic route or nature-filled trail or main road, there is an oldness to this place that no-one else seems to notice. It seeps from below and pours from above and it sits watching on hilltops and sloshes in with the high tide and it follows 10 metres back on a dark evening and it cannot wait for when the fog is heavy enough that you cannot see the path in front of you and it cannot wait for you to trip.

- Lumine is canonically over 500 year old at least, plus from another world. I'd hardly think her people would let her jump from universe to universe, world to world if she wasn't considered an adult... Why can't she have any alcohol?

-Also!!! Why couldn't we have matching outfits with Ayaka made 😭😭😭 Can't we dress her up in different regional Teyvat dress?? Or is her outfit really some kind of magically self clean and mend type??

- I love Qiqi, she's precious and must be protected and despite all the memes of her ruining everyone's 50/50 how come I've been playing since the BEGINNING and she's not even C3 yet???? I SMELL SLANDER.

- The game's premise reminds me of a light hearted adventure anime but really, the world is basically built upon genocide? Kinda weird to think about. One moment we're in a sunny meadow laughing and practicing our elemental skills and the next we're in a quest and see dead hilichurls strewn around. Are we sure this is just a kids game???

- Is it really so bad of Aether to want to help turn the people of Kaenrhi'a back to well... People???

- I can't decide who to ship with who. I kinda ship everyone with everyone and yet also not. It's confusing and I have a lot of AO3 to read through now. Not necessarily complaining though.

- There's a lot less fics of it for some characters than I'd have thought.

- How do artifacts work??? Which ones are good???

- NGL sometimes I do get kinda confused when people genderbend Lumine in fics, like Aether is Right There (no hate or anything just really confused. They're basically made to be the same person, no?) Aether's so cute too 😭😭

- I once read a Zhonglumi fic where he'd used the contract they'd made where'd she'd keep him company in exchange for help to look for her brother, to keep her from traveling to another world with her brother once she finally found him and I was distraught. Like damn that was some fine use of inconspicuous canon lore to absolutely traumatize me. That was a scary ass Zhongli, unhinged yet completely composed. Very good fic tho 11/10 would recommend even if our fave Geo Archon was a bit of a psycho in it.

- Will they/won't they, but it's wether Paimon will actually end up betraying the traveler.

- Why did I turn all my fish into fish.... I want the Catch and the damn fish bow. I already gave Sayu the Fish Lord... It's hilarious.

- Once someone said Dainsleif reminded them of a more mature Howl and now I can't unsee...

- The way Aether clearly was meant to be the traveler.. 😭😭 they could at least have TRIED to make sure Lumines pronouns match throughout the text and dialogue and that the Battlepass Story doesn't always condemn her to basically be the Princess of Darkness. Also since it talks of the first and second crowned heir.. does it mean Lumine is basically the elder sibling???

- I still kinda hope we can get a pet fungi and that all past pets (ahem ahem, like the one (1!!) I missed, the oceanid, ahem ahem) will at some point become available regardless of events.

evn still i leaned towards transmasc charlie nd always lovd moments tht let me imagine, for a moment, it being true, like his discomfort w taking off his shirt [hundred dollar baby, charlie kelly: king of the rats, the gang exploits the mortgage crisis, young charlie and mac deleted scenes, etc etc etc], or bonnie yelling abt ppl stealing her "charlie-girl" [the waitress is getting married] which i lovd to see as her accidentally misgendering him while drunk off her ass.

having grown out of my phallo issues (nd if ur reading this and u still view phallo super poorly, please do some research and grow too), ive in recent years fully subscribed to transmasc/nb charlie, and view his timeline something like this:

baby -> elementary: charlie refers to himself as a boy, doesnt "come out," simply has no idea he's afab. bonnie lets him dress however he wants and refers to him as asked. when charlie gets confused about his genitals, bonnie says his dick will grow in later lol, makes charlie wear a dress in public restrooms and tells him its just a game

middle: puberty hits and charlie gets confused and scared. bonnie puts him on blockers w.o explaining them ("my mom used to vaccinate me like every month" [the gang gets quarantined]) charlie goes on content and oblivious. STP acquired because hes "a late bloomer" and his dicks still not growing in?? weird. confides this in mac once, but he doesn't understand.

high: charlie finally registers that he's trans after forgetting theres a health class 1 day and not being able to skip it. throws him for a loop a bit but he becomes actively invested in his goals. he gets to start T and wants to have surgeries. "what guy hasnt done some extensive research on his own genitalia?" [mac is a serial killer]

college (aged): able to surgically transition (ty medicare) and continues on with life as we kno him now

joyce, imo, fits neatly into these views.

as a transmasc nb who came out young nd prefers to be seen as just A Guy by strangers, i grew up v vehemently against anything girly that might get me misgendered, but th more i began to 'pass,' th more @ home n my body i felt, th more and more comfortable i am w femininity, th more i wdnt mind putting on a dress, as long as th general public wd see me as "a man in women's clothes." n my mind, i prescribe something not exactly th same but v similar to charlie.

i see charlie "i dont really identify" kelly as afab and nb. i see joyce as a "character" he originally created to distance himself from the dysphoria of putting on a dress as a young trans boy, but that became part of him as the hard lines he drew in the sand as a child became blurry with age and self acceptance. charlie's comfort with himself allows joyce to evolve into a more solid persona, one he enjoys embodying and allowing to become a permanent facet of who he is. he's ok with being referred to as either. they're both him.

so maybe joyce comes out a bit more outside of the bathroom now.

i am an adult, specifically 21! i know some minors are uncomfortable with people that are substantially older than them [which is very valid in this day and age of the internet] which is why i mention this!

i use they/it + voidself pronouns, i identify as nonbinary, and im attracted to fictional men for some reason [basically; i'm queer, and that's the best way to describe how i attach to people]

i like the tumblr community so i'll be upfront: i am diagnosed with adhd, anxiety², ocd, and a whole host of other issues that make it hard for me to understand others and for others to understand me. some things i say may come out wrong/not the way i intended them to be understood, so please bear with me!! not to mention that i forget i have an account here, so i do have gaps in my posting as you can see lol

please be aware that i am critical of the creators of various media and do not knowingly financially support creators who are terrible people, however i do like what i like and pretend that the media came from the ether one day or smthn idfk

hi there!! of course! so it's mostly the overall Feel Good Vibe that they both bring but ill try to explain a bit

1) for me what made 2gether really special was the soundtrack, scrubb - which is tine's favourite band - and the msp soundtrack is amazing too! music brings so much nostalgia for me so altho i don't love 2g, i remember it fondly bc it introduced me to really listening to thai music and now it's basically all i listen to fjsjdjsk

2) the friendships between characters dont feel cookie cutter, at least to me. they're a real joy to watch and u wish u could be a part of their shenanigans :)

3) on another level, tine and gun are similar in some ways, ie not having much confidence in himself despite being so extroverted and fall for a guy that they think they don't necessarily 'deserve.' and in both cases the guy (tinn and wat) work to make it exceedingly clear how much they adore their crush who DOES deserve the entire world tyvm, which is !!!!!

4) and then oc theres the literal reference to 2gether in ep3 when tinn fantasizes about gun sharing an earbud with him and scrubb's "klai" ("close") plays bc tinn has been bingeing series to figure out how to Seduce gun and instead just ends up imagining different bl scenarios GJSKDK the realest shit fr
