in funner news for me, the kitties love the fresh frozen raw minced meatball cat/kitten food I've begun starting them on. which is good because good for them 👍
#they in fact like it way more than the chunks in jelly kitty food I'm phasing them out on. and the frozen stuff is slightly cheaper because#You but it in larger bulk and you thaw it portion by portion so you get the benefits of the portion pouches without wasting a#shitton of plastics#they do in fact also have dry kibble they're not overly interested in but thats just because i want to make sure they can graze when i#work longer shifts and maintain their blood sugar levels. and also don't become food insecure#talked about it which i colleague who also has a cat however and she found it disgusting lol. i think its the least disgusting visually#<- desensitized to meat

Did you guys know that somewhere out here (warszawa or łódź?) there's a rossmann store with stations where you can refill your shampoo/shower gel bottles. I think about that all the time, and I really wish more stores did that too. It's such a cool concept.
#I would love to just refill my bottles. But the only times I see these refills being sold in pouches it's like:#1) they're still plastic waste since sold separately and 2) they're usually super expensive#pogaduchy

photos of some of my old childhood plushies with a cute filter applied :)
2006 Shining Stars Unicorn plush - had ever since the same year it was made
Unidentified Calico Cat plush (possibly a Loblaws or Douglas plush) - had a similar one since at least 2006 or 2007 which disappeared, replaced with a gift from a friend in 2013. the original plush was likely an Aurora plush.
2001 Bestever Liontoons Plush - had since the day i was born
2002 Bedtime Care Bears plush - had since 2005 (it even came with a VHS tape included!)

Making the felt effigy ground to a halt bc the pattern I made for the body was significantly too small and I have immediately resorted to cutting fabric and being optimistic
#mort.txt#using my childhood stuffed animal as a base for this bc naturally. the thing i slept with for 20yrs is the most comfortable object to exist#i also decided i am not paying 20$ for plastic beads to give it floppy bean bag feet so i went to dollar tree and got vase fill gravel#i want it to be weighted so this works out better anyway it'll be roughly 3lbs#ill sew little pouches to store them inside the body so it doesn't explode when my dog shit seam work gives out#it'll be fine. the last stuffed animal i made survived the washing machine

Medication Adherence Through Innovative Adherence Packaging Solutions
Improving Medication Compliance with It Adherence to prescribed medication regimens is crucial for positive health outcomes. However, non-adherence is a widespread problem that negatively impacts patients and drives up healthcare costs. One innovative solution that is gaining traction is adherence packaging, which repackages medications in dose-specific single or multi-compartment blister packs according to set dosing schedules. This article explores how it works and the benefits it provides for both patients and healthcare systems. What is Adherence Packaging? It involves repackaging a patient's full course of medication into labeled dose packs segregated by day and time of intended administration. Each individual dose is packaged in a sealed blister or container clearly marked with instructions, often with the day and time the medication should be taken. This provides a visual cue that eliminates any confusion about when to take each medication. Adherence packs are frequently marked with the days of the week or date to indicate the prescribed schedule, with anywhere from a week's supply to a month's worth of medications contained in one package. Benefits for Patients For patients, it offers several key advantages over traditional pharmacy-dispensed medication bottles. Most significantly, it simplifies complex dosing regimens by packaging each dose individually with instructions, eliminating any uncertainty around dosage amounts or timing. This makes it very easy for patients, especially seniors or those with cognitive impairments, to follow their prescription medication schedules precisely as prescribed. Adherence packs also serve as a visual reminder of when medications were last taken. Forgetting to take a medication is one of the leading causes of non-adherence, so this reminder function provides reassurance. Ease of Transport and Storage Compared to bottles that require measuring out and organizing multiple pills, adherence packs are very portable and take up minimal space. The compact packs fit easily into bags or pockets for on-the-go doses. This makes Adherence Packaging particularly well-suited for active seniors or those who travel. Organizing all medications together in one clearly labeled pack also simplifies storage and prevents mix-ups of look-alike pills that could lead to dangerous dosing errors. Improved Health Outcomes When patients consistently take their full prescribed course of medications as directed, there are clear benefits to their health outcomes. Adherence packaging directly addresses the root causes of non-adherence related to dosing complexity or forgetting and provides structure to medication routines. Several clinical studies have demonstrated adherence packs can significantly improve medication adherence rates, in some cases by as much as 25%. This level of improved adherence leads to better management of chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Benefits for Healthcare Systems From a healthcare system perspective, adherence packaging can provide cost savings through several mechanisms. Most significantly, improved medication adherence means patients experience fewer adverse health events requiring medical interventions or hospitalizations. It also reduces the need for additional physician visits when side effects occur due to improper dosing. By empowering patients to take their medications correctly, adherence packaging helps avoid much more expensive downstream costs of advanced disease or medical errors due to non-adherence. Some research also shows it may improve patient satisfaction with their care experience by addressing a chief concern around complex prescription regimens. Get more insights on Adherence Packaging

Back from concert!! It was awesome!!!
I sat next to a guy named Phil who gave me a Rob Zombie poster he'd bought but didn't end up wanting (said his wife wouldn't appreciate him hanging it in the house)
It was nice of him, but it's added one more to the weird trend I've noticed throughout my life of People Just Giving Me Stuff
#once got an umbrella from a Chinese lady I spoke to several times on the SF MUNI in high school#(she said I could give it back to her next time I saw her but I never saw her again while I had the umbrella)#once got given a free ticket to a play I was just about to buy tickets for in college#(random woman accidentally bought too many and gave one to the first person she saw which was me)#once got a plastic lightsaber from another random woman after I helped her navigate East Coast regional rail#currently own five musical instruments four of which were gifted to me#(last one was my grandma's guitar that I just took because no one else wanted it)#bf gave me a stuffed animal of his that I had taken to cuddling when I was at his parents' place#our landlady has given me various pouches and a nice jacket for seemingly no reason#and now this Rob Zombie poster#guess there's something about me that just says Hi Give Me Your Things
