This year, I want to try my best to share more of a big project I've been working on over the past 5 or so years. I'm a sucker for speculative biology so I've been tinkering with a 'life after humans' where fleshy plants/succulents were the next evolutionary stage and gained sentience. They have complex cultures and lifestyles that I want to show off more. Its nice working on this because it's not dependent on a narrative like a lot of my other headworld stuff.

Anyway, the project is called Viridæ

A lot of this is very (very) old and outdated art/info but I almost have a new writeup of their information I want to share almost done :) My end goal for this is a nice big illustrated book in the vein of an educational book that shows their biology and social behaviors and the like.

This is something I'll be tackling over the course of this year. I'll be sharing more stuff about it in detail on my Patreon for now~

Thanks to this individual for creating a petition that finally caught on. I’ve signed many in the past that garnered little support. Now is the time! People are becoming educated and activated!

can someone please tell me how to help my orchid? she is dying (or maybe dead idk- she has like 3 healthy roots total, the rest are dried up) I pruned most of the dead roots and she lost three leaves that yellowed up and just fell off- I placed her in mostly air, with a bit of orchid bark beneath her, gave a bit of water, and put her in a hanging orchid pot. I really want her to live!!! she was thriving in summer with the sun coming in through the windows but now that it’s winter and I don’t have a place for her to get much light, she’s going through it. maybe there is no hope?

the photo does not show the healthy roots but I promise there are about 3 left. I think the bits chipped on her leaves are from my cat biting her? but I can’t be sure.

Another one of my plant guy OCs. He's based on a ghost pipe plant, hence his unusual coloration. I'm still working on a name for him.

Part of his concept was he was going to be a love interest / partner for Caesarion in the underworld, after Alice killed him. Given how unstable Caesarion is, I just can't imagine the relationship lasting too long.
